Abstract

The influence of the rapid development of technology has begun to shift the character of society, including the people in Rejomulyo Village, Islamic Boarding School District, Kediri City. As an urban society, we cannot be separated from the use of technology which is categorized as high. To prevent the negative impact of the use of technology, it is necessary to strengthen character values ​​in the Rejomulyo Village community, especially village youth or known as youth organizations. Service activities are carried out in three stages, namely: planning, implementation and evaluation. The implementation carried out presentation of material on local wisdom values, participants created works and presented. The participants' response was positive towards the implementation of the service. Participants expressed their appreciation for the activities carried out.

Abstract

The low learning outcomes of students in elementary schools are caused by the lack of optimal use of learning media. So there is a need to develop learning media that can attract students' interest in learning, especially in mathematics lessons with circle diagram material, such as the development of WordPress web-based learning media. The aims of this research are (1) to determine the validity of web-based mathematics learning media using WordPress on circle diagram material, (2) to determine the practicality of web-based mathematics learning media using WordPress on circle diagram material, (3) to determine the effectiveness of web-based mathematics learning media by using WordPress on circle diagram material. This research uses the R&D (Research & Development) method with five stages of the ADDIE model, namely Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation. The subjects in this research were fourth grade students at SDN Dawuhanlor, Kec. Purwoasri, Kab. Kediri with 5 limited trial students and 16 wide trial students. The results of this research are (1) Media validity from media experts obtained a score of 93% with very valid criteria, and material experts obtained a score of 90% with very valid criteria. (2) The practicality of the media obtained a score of 77% with practical criteria from the teacher's response, while the student responses obtained a score of 92% with very practical criteria in limited trials, and obtained a score of 93% with very practical criteria in extensive trials. (3) The effectiveness of the media in the limited trial obtained a score of 56% from the pre-test results and obtained a score of 98% from the post-test results, while in the extensive trial it obtained a score of 41% from the pre-test results and obtained a score of 95% from the post-test results. Therefore, researchers hope that this research can be used as a reference for future research.

Abstract

The aim of this research and development is to determine the validity, practicality and effectiveness of class V hydrological cycle diorama media at SDN Karangtengah 3. This research method uses the R & D (Research and Development) method with the ADDIE model, which consists of 5 stages, including (1) Analysis, (2) Design (planning), (3) Development (development), (4) Implementation ( implementation), (5) Evaluation (evaluation). The results of this research show that. (1) The validation results obtained from material experts received a percentage of 86% and media experts received a percentage of 84%, so the results from material validation and hydrological cycle diorama media are included in the very valid criteria. (2) The results of the teacher response questionnaire received a percentage of 92% and the results of the student response questionnaire received a percentage of 100%, so these results can be concluded that the hydrological cycle diorama media is very practical. (3) The results of the evaluation or posttest questions in the limited trial got an average score of 81 with a classical completeness of 87.5% and in the extensive trial got an average score of 86 with a classical completeness of 100%, so it can be stated that the hydrological cycle diorama media very effective.   Keywords: diorama, hydrological cycle science,  learning media

Abstract

This development research is based on the results of observations and interviews that learning Indonesian reading and viewing still has several students whose interest in reading is still low. Based on the results of observations and interviews that became the basis of the research entitled the development of children's story comic media to improve reading and writing literacy skills in grade 4 elementary school students. The media developed were tested for validity, effectiveness, and practicality. This research is a type of development research or Research and Development using the ADDIE model. In this study were students and teachers of grade 4 SDN Ngoro 2. Data collection techniques in the research conducted using observation, interviews, questionnaires, and tests with quantitative and qualitative data analysis. The purpose of the study was to determine the quality of the learning media products developed based on aspects of validity, effectiveness, and practicality. The results of the comic development research are as follows: (1) comic media is declared valid with results of 87% from material validation and 78.75% from media validation, (2) comic media is declared very practical with results of 96% from teacher responses and 98.26% from student responses, (3) comic media is declared very effective after the evaluation test or posttest with the results of the completion of the limited trial showing an average of 88.6 and the extensive trial showing an average value of 87.6.   Keywords : comics, learning media, indonesian

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertunjuan untuk mengembangakan video animasi powtoon tentang materi Siklus Hidup pada Hewan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah R&D (Research and Development) atau penelitian pengembangan, dalam penelitian ini model yang digunakan adalah ADDIE yang terdiri dari Analisis, Desain, Pengembangan, Implementasi dan Evaluasi. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan analisis deskriptif untuk data observasi dan wawancara sedangkan untuk menghitung skor hasil dari validasi, kepraktisan dan keefektifan yang berupa angka menggunakan analisis statistika. Hasil validasi media mendapatkan skor presentase sebesar 89% dengan katagori sangat valid digunakan dan validasi materi mendapatkan skor presentase sebesar 100% dengan katagori sangat valid digunakan. Hasil kepraktisan respon guru mendapatkan skor presentase sebesar 94% dengan katagori sangat praktis digunakan dan kepraktisan respon siswa memdapatkan skor presentase sebesar 93% dengan kategori sangat praktis digunakan. Hasil keefektifan media mendapatkan nilai diatas KKM rata-rata siswa memperoleh nilai sebesar 85 dan ketuntasan belajar klasikal siswa mendapatkan presentase sebesar 93% sehingga dikatakan berhasil dan efektif digunakan. Dari hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan, dapat disimpulkan bahwa Media animasi powtoon dinyatakan layak digunakan sebagai media pada mata pelajaran IPA materi Silus Hidup pada Hewan dan berhasil menarik minat belajar siswa, serta meningkatkan hasil belajar dan pemahaman siswa.

Abstract

This study aims to develop and test the validity, practicality, and effectiveness of I-Spring-based Digital Comic Media on Pancasila Education subjects in class IV SDN 2 Kutoanyar. By using the ADDIE development model which consists of five main stages: Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation, this research begins with problem identification through observations and interviews at the school. The material was developed using Microsoft PowerPoint application and converted into an interactive multimedia format with i-Spring. Media validation was carried out by material experts and media experts, giving 88% and 92% marks respectively, which accumulated to 90%, indicating that the media was very valid. Implementation involved limited trials and extensive trials involving students and teachers, showing excellent practicality with an accumulative score of 93.5% from student and teacher responses, indicating the media was very practical and did not require revision. The effectiveness test through evaluation questions (Post Test) showed positive results, with the average score of students reaching 90.4%, exceeding the Minimum Completeness Criteria (KKM) of ≥75, which means that this media is very effective in increasing students' understanding and enthusiasm for Pancasila values material. Thus, I-Spring-based Digital Comic Media can be recommended as a valid, practical, and effective learning media to be applied in Civics education in elementary schools.

Abstract

Abstract: In the process of learning mathematics on FPB and KPK material, students experience difficulties and cannot understand the material optimally. This is because the teacher does not interesting learning media, only uses image media which makes students less interested. The development objective of this research is to determine the very validity, very effective and very practicality of LUDO media development of FPB and KPK material. The method use is Research and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE model. The results of this study are LUDO learning media FPB and KPK material that has been developed is declared valid, effective, and practical. The average validity results obtained from media experts and material experts were 89,5%, which was categorized as very valid. The effectiveness results obtained during limited trial were 90% and during extensive trials it was 87.5%. The practicality results obtained from teacher response were an average of 98.18%, student responses during the limited trial were 92% and during extensive trials they were 90.31%.

Abstract

This research aims to develop a valid, practical, and effective learning multimedia to enhance students' curiosity and critical thinking skills in the fourth grade of elementary school. The background of the study indicates that curiosity and critical thinking skills among students at SDN Lirboyo 4 are still low, with only 30% of students demonstrating good curiosity behaviors and only 23% having adequate critical thinking skills. The research method used is Research and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). The results show that the developed multimedia product received an average validation score of 85% from media experts and 82% from elementary school learning strategy experts, which is categorized as very valid. The product's practicality test, based on teacher response questionnaires, shows an average score of 87%, also falling into the very practical category. Additionally, the product's effectiveness test indicates that after using the multimedia, students' curiosity skills scored 85, and their critical thinking skills scored 83. These scores reflect a significant improvement beyond the minimum completion criteria (75) established by the school. Thus, the learning multimedia developed in this study is proven to be valid, practical, and effective in increasing the curiosity and critical thinking skills of fourth grade students at SDN Lirboyo 4, Kediri City.

Abstract

This research aims 1) to determine the validity of animated video media of human interaction with the environment in class V of SD Negeri Bulusari. 2) Knowing the effectiveness of animated video media for human interaction with the environment in class V of SD Negeri Bulusari. 3) Knowing the practicality of animated video media for human interaction with the environment in class V of SD Negeri Bulusari. This research uses the Research and Development (R&D) development method with the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) with research subjects namely 5 students in class V of SD Negeri Bulusari 2 and SD Negeri Bulusari 3 with 23 students. This research uses data analysis techniques in the form of media expert validation questionnaire instruments, material expert validation questionnaires, teacher response questionnaires, student response questionnaires, and student learning outcomes in the form of pre-tests and post-tests. The results of this development research are 1) The animated video learning media received an average score of 94% from media expert validation and material expert validation, meaning that the learning media created is very valid for use without revision. 2) The animated video learning media in the limited trial got an average score of 88% and in the extensive trial it got an average score of 95%, meaning that the learning media created was very practical to use. These scores were obtained from teacher questionnaires and student questionnaires in limited trials and extensive trials. (3) The animated video learning media was stated to be very effective, because students' classical completion results in limited trials and extensive trials were 100%.

Abstract

The success of 21st century learning can be assessed from the high enthusiasm of students in participating in the learning process, with one of the main supporting factors being the ability to think creatively and achieving learning outcomes. The use of innovative learning media, such as e-comics, can help convey material in a more interesting and interactive way. This research aims to analyze the improvement in learning outcomes of class V students at SDN Burengan 02 Kediri on the subject of the human digestive system by utilizing e-comic media. The research was conducted using the classroom action research (PTK) method in two cycles involving planning, action implementation, observation and reflection, with a sample size of 28 students. The research results showed that the application of e-comic media succeeded in improving student learning outcomes significantly, with an achievement of 61% in the first cycle in the moderately improved category, and increasing to 89% in the second cycle in the very improved category. This proves that e-comic media is not only effective in improving student learning outcomes, but is also able to arouse interest in learning and facilitate understanding of the material, so it is suitable for use as an alternative learning media in class V elementary school.
