Abstract

This research stems from the problem of the difficulty of mastering language skills for foreign-speaking Arabic learners. This study aims to answer two questions: How is the application of the Arabic short speech program for Ar-Raya University students in Sukabumi, Indonesia? What is the program's impact on the development of their language skills? This study uses descriptive methods. Qualitative data were collected through interviews and observations. The results of this study are (1) the purpose of the short speech program is to familiarize students with public speaking, organized by a special team, carried out through the written preparation stage, delivering a speech for a maximum of 5 minutes without looking at the text. (2) this program has a good impact on students because it can improve their ability in Arabic, enrich their vocabulary, and familiarize them with speaking Arabic, using vocabulary in sentences, and choosing the correct method. The findings show that the Arabic short speech program can be used as a medium to improve Arabic language skills.

Abstract

Arabic language actually contains sexism. Therefore, learning Arabic with a gender neutral perspective is absolutely necessary so that the alignments towards the Adam and the marginalization of the Eve can be straightened out. Research learning Arabic language with gender neutral insight at Maulana Malik Ibrahim State Islamic University of Malang is a library research. In addition, this also includes the type of qualitative research. The documentary method was chosen for data collection techniques. The contribution of learning gender-oriented Arabic language at UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang was explored through interviews and questionnaires. The data analysis technique used is qualitative data analysis with data validity methods in the form of participation, perseverance of observation, triangulation and adequacy of references. Gender-based Arabic learning in the Special Arabic Language Development Program (PPBA) and Arabic education department includes: Learning planning process, Teaching and learning interactions, Class management and the use of gender responsive language and Arabic learning with gender-neutral insight in the Special Program for Arabic Language Development (PPBA) and the Arabic Education majors as a whole have a positive impact.

Abstract

Research on the style of balaghah language has a very important goal, which is to convey the beauty of the style of language conveyed by the author in a prose to convey the intended meaning to the readers, especially in the novel Sununuwati Kabul by Yasmina Khadra. This research needs to be discussed because after the researcher conducted a survey of this novel and the researcher found the beautiful Arabic styles that the author used in expressing an event that will be described to the reader, especially the Tashbih language style in Balaghah. So, with the explanation of this novel must be examined more deeply about the various styles of Tasybih language used by the author. The author of the novel Sununuwati Kabul uses tasybih language style in conveying ideas and goals. In this study, the researcher used a type of qualitative research, in which this research was more about describing or explaining the existing data, for the research method, the researcher used a descriptive analysis method. This method is carried out by explaining or describing the data then followed by an analysis of the data using a predetermined theory. As for data collection techniques, researchers used the library research method or library research to explain the data in this study. The results of this study are 7 types, including: tasybih mursal is totaling 4, tasybih mursal mufassal goiru tamtsil is totaling 28, tasybih mursyal mujmal is totaling 25, tasybih mursal mujmal jama' is totaling 1, tasybih muakkad mufassal goiru tamtsil is totaling 3, tasybih balig is totaling 2, tasybih mursal maqlub is totaling 5.  And from these results the author concludes that this novel describes a beautiful and meaningful Arabic style. Because the style of tasybih language is not only one or two but, the author came up with many styles of tasybih language to express the parables of the parables of the existing events. هذا البحث عن أسلوب لغة البلاغة له هدف مهم للغاية، وهو نقل جمال أسلوب اللغة الذي ينقله المؤلف في نثر لإيصال المعنى المقصود للقراء، خاصة في رواية سنونوات الكابول لياسمينة خضرا. يستخدم مؤلف رواية سنونوات الكابول أسلوب لغة تشبيه في نقل الأفكار والأهداف. في هذه الدراسة، استخدم الباحث نوعًا من البحث النوعي، حيث كان هذا البحث أكثر حول وصف أو شرح البيانات الموجودة، أما بالنسبة لمنهج البحث، فقد استخدم الباحث أسلوب التحليل الوصفي. يتم تنفيذ هذه الطريقة من خلال شرح أو وصف البيانات ثم يتبعها تحليل البيانات باستخدام نظرية محددة سلفًا. أما بالنسبة لتقنيات جمع البيانات ، فقد استخدم الباحثون أسلوب البحث في المكتبات أو البحث المكتبي لشرح البيانات في هذه الدراسة. أما نتائج هذه الدراسة هي 7 أنواع ، بما في ذلك:تشبيه مرسل هو 4 ،تشبيه مرسل مفصل غير التمثيل هو  28 تشبيه مرسل مجمل هو 25، تشبيه مرسل مجمل جمع 'هو إجمالي 1 ،تشبيه مؤكد مفصل تمثيل هو 4، تسيبية بليغ هو 2 ، تشيبية مرسل مقلوب هو 5.  ومن هذه النتائج يستنتج المؤلف أن هذه الرواية تصف أسلوبا عربيا جميلا وهادفا. لأن أسلوب لغة التشبيه ليس واحدا أو اثنين فقط ، ولكن المؤلف توصل إلى العديد من أنماط لغة  التشبيه للتعبير عن أمثال الأحداث القائمة.

Abstract

UPK-BKM di wilayah kecamatan Pecangaan mengalami permasalahan Non-Performing Loan (NPL) yang sangat tinggi. Hal tersebut disebabkan karena permasalahan (1) Penyaluran pinjaman dilakukan secara peer-to-peer lending oleh ketua koordinator dengan ketua Kelompok Swadaya Mandiri (KSM) sehingga tidak transparan (2) Penanganan pinjaman dilakukan sentralistik tanpa melibatkan peran masing-masing pengurus (3) Lemahnya sistem kolektibilitas kredit. (4) Tidak mempunyai tata kelola risiko yang baik. Metode pelaksanaan pengabdian dilaksanakan dengan Inhouse Training, pendampingan pembuatan Standar Operation and Procedure (SOP) dan Risk Mapping untuk merubah pola kerja perguliran dana yang terkonstruk sejak lama dengan pola perguliran dana yang baru dengan transparansi melalui center-meeting pada saat pencairan dana serta memasukan unsur Mubadalah atau saling melengkapi atau menggantikan antara suami atau istri ataupun penjamin pada penyaluranya atau penerimaan dana. Kegiatan pendampingan lapangan penanganan perguliran dana yang terlanjur macet (NPL existing) melalui pola rescheduling, reconditioning, restructuring, refinancing. Kegiatan tersebut dilaksanakan selama delapan bulan dengan hasil berupa penambahan perguliran macet baru sebesar 0%. UPK-BKM in the Pecangaan sub-district area is encounter tremendous non-performing Non-Performing Loan (NPL) volumes. This is due to problems (1) Loan distribution is carried out peer-to-peer lending by the head of the coordinator with the head of the Independent Self-Help Group (KSM) that is making lending distribution not transparent (2) Loan handling is carried out centrally without involving the role of each administrator (3) Weak credit collectibility system. (4) Needing good Risk Management. The method of implementing the service is carried out with In-house Training, assistance in creating Standard Operations and Procedures (SOP), and Risk Mapping to change the workflow of fund lending which has been constructed for a long time with a new fund lending flow with transparency through center-meeting at the time of disbursement of funds and including elements of Mubadala is it complement or replace each other between husband or wife or guarantor in the distribution or receipt of funds. Field assistance activities for handling the circulation of funds that are already stuck (existing NPL) through rescheduling, reconditioning, restructuring, and refinancing models. This activity was carried out for eight months with results in the form of an increase in new Non-Performing Financing (NPL) weighted 0%.

Abstract

Anti-corruption education from an Islamic perspective for students is an alternative in eradicating Corruption. integration education anti-Corruption in the Qur'an and Hadith courses is education anti-Corruption merges in Al-Qur'an and Hadith courses through development Theory because of course part the material contain payload score and behavior anti-Corruption, as well as through development learning methods and media. Based on data processing obtained for category moral knowing It was found that the ICP PAI students of UIN Maliki Malang class of 2020 reached 82%. For category moral feeling by 86%, and for category moral action as much as 84%. Then the students of ICP PAI UIN Maliki Malang batch of 2020 are more put forward heart conscience and empathy for anti-corruption actions with percentage which enough tall that is as big as 86%. In other words, the integration of anti-corruption education from an Islamic perspective in Al-Qur'an and Hadith courses contribute positively to the internalization of anti-corruption educational values in students

Abstract

PAI teachers play a critical role in shaping Indonesian Islam. However, many PAI students lack sufficient skills in reading primary Islamic texts in Arabic, which is essential for their academic growth. To address this, the AARAVI (Proficient in Reading Books) application was developed as an Android-based learning tool to support Islamic Studies students in improving their reading skills. The research employed the ADDIE model, encompassing five stages: Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The study involved 20 students from the 2020 batch of the Islamic Religious Education program at UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang, enrolled in the Qira'atul Kutub course. Data were collected through interviews, literature reviews, questionnaires, tests, and documentation. Data analysis techniques included descriptive analysis, quantitative analysis using percentage-based questionnaires, and statistical tests such as paired sample t-tests or Wilcoxon rank tests to evaluate pre- and post-test results. The findings demonstrate that AARAVI is a highly effective learning medium. Validation results from material experts yielded a score of 89%, media experts 83%, and student feedback 87%, all indicating high validity. Furthermore, there was a significant improvement in students’ reading abilities after using AARAVI, confirming its effectiveness. The application is thus deemed suitable for enhancing the reading skills of Islamic Education students, particularly at the beginner (mubtadi’in) level.

Abstract

The pressing challenges of our time necessitate the involvement of Arabic language education in achieving SDG 4: Quality Education, particularly in specialized contexts like the military. This study examines the language management system in military Arabic language education at Pusdik Pengmilum Cimahi, Indonesia. It emphasizes its alignment with SDG 4 through knowledge and skills development, attitude and behavior formation, and physical fitness enhancement. Using an exploratory case study approach, data were collected via observation, interviews, and document analysis and analyzed thematically. The findings reveal that military Arabic education is integrated into the Indonesian Army’s core responsibilities, guided by 12 regulatory mechanisms. These mechanisms ensure a structured approach to curriculum design, learner discipline, and operational readiness. For example, knowledge development enhances Arabic proficiency for specific military purposes, while attitude formation fosters cultural competence essential for global citizenship. This study demonstrates how military Arabic education contributes to quality education outcomes, including linguistic skills and intercultural awareness, aligning with sustainable development goals. It offers practical insights for integrating SDG principles into specialized education systems. This study highlights the role of military Arabic education in achieving SDG 4, offering insights into integrating SDG principles into specialized education. Abstract

This study examines the initiatives of peaceful villages (Desa Damai) in fostering social resilience and cohesion to prevent intolerance and radicalism within communities through the Desa Damai program of the Wahid Foundation in Malang Raya. Employing a qualitative descriptive methodology, this research adopts a grounded theory approach, focusing on Candirenggo Village (Malang Regency) and Sidomulyo Village (Batu City) as the objects of study. Primary data were collected through interviews, observations, and specifically designed instruments, while secondary data were gathered from documentation and official archives, including relevant literature and supporting materials. The study involves 5–10 informants from each research location, with the exact number determined based on data needs and sufficiency to achieve data saturation. Grounded theory is utilized for data analysis, and the validity of the findings is ensured through data and source triangulation.The research findings reveal that a peaceful village is characterized by inclusivity and harmony across diverse groups, races, and religions. These villages foster tolerance, reject violence, and maintain ideological and economic resilience. One of the primary objectives of establishing peaceful villages is to support community livelihoods, achieved in part through the formation of small women's business groups. Furthermore, the initiative promotes peaceful coexistence and counters radical influences, emphasizing the empowerment of women as a strategy to enhance tolerance and prevent radicalism and terrorism.

Abstract

PAI teachers have an important role to participate in building and directing Indonesian Islam As academics of Islamic sciences, book reading skills are an inseparable part of PAI students. Unfortunately, the level of student ability is still weak. This is very unfortunate, considering that they are conditioned as scholars in the Islamic field but cannot study their field of knowledge through access to primary resources in ArabicTherefore, an android-based application development program was initiated called Proficient in Reading Books (AARAVI) for Islamic Studies students which is an alternative to facilitate the process of learning to read books. This learning media development research is based on Multimedia-based Instructional Design using the ADDIE model. The ADDIE model goes through 5 stages of research, namely: (1) Analysis (analysis); (2) Design (design); (3) Development (development); (4) Implementation (application); (5) Evaluation (evaluation).The subjects of this study were students majoring in Islamic Religious Education at UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang batch of 2020 who were taking the Qira'atul Polar course as many as 20 people. In this AARAVI application development research, data were collected through five data sources, namely: (1) interviews, (2) literature study, (3) questionnaires, (4) tests, and (5) documentation. In this development research, three techniques were used. data analysis, namely: (1) descriptive analysis (2) quantitative descriptive analysis, this is used to process the data obtained through a questionnaire in the form of percentages. (3) as well as the analysis technique of the paired sample t-test (if the data is normally distributed) and the Wilcoxon rank tests (if the data is not normally distributed) to measure the pre and post tests. The results of this application development research indicate that the AARAVI application is very feasible to be applied as a learning medium for reading books for PAI students. This is based on the results of the validation test of material experts in the field of study with a cumulative value of 43 out of 12 statements with a percentage of 89% which means very valid, by media experts getting a cumulative score of 40 out of 12 questions with a percentage of 83% which means very valid and by students majoring in Islamic Studies. UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang as a field test is 42 of 12 statements with a percentage of 87%. which means it is very valid. There is a positive and significant difference between student learning outcomes before and after the trial. This means that learning by using the product developed is effective in order to increase student learning acquisition in reading skills, so that the product is suitable for use for Islamic Education students at the mubtadi'in level
