Abstract

The background of this study is based on the high number of bullying cases in schools that can have a negative impact on students' psychological and social development. The purpose of this study is to explore various strategies that can be carried out by teachers in an effort to prevent and handle bullying behavior among children and adolescents. The method used is content analysis, which involves data identification and analysis. The sample used was articles published on googlescholar and researcghate ranging from 2015-2024. The results revealed that bullying is a negative behavior that reflects violent and discriminatory actions, which can arise due to differences in social status, lifestyle, and interests between students. The findings highlight the importance of the role of teachers as a key component in the education system to prevent and address bullying behavior in the school environment. Training and workshops for teachers are also needed to prevent and address bullying behavior and also to improve communication skills and appropriate interventions.

Abstract

Social media has become an integral part of adolescent activities in the digital age, significantly influencing their ethics and behavior in real life. The widespread use of social media brings various consequences, both positive and negative. Therefore, it is necessary to have a proper understanding and special attention in its use to optimize its benefits and minimize its risks. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with a literature review method. The aim of this research is to analyze the impact of social media usage on the ethics of children and adolescents. The findings show negative impacts, such as exposure to content that contradicts social norms, as well as positive impacts, with social media serving as a platform for expanding online social interactions.

Abstract

This research is based on the development of students notalways running smoothly, in the development, students experiencing obstacles and difficulty. The purpose of the research is to produce and analyze the data of adversity quotient and problem solving skill and see the effect of adversity quotient on problem solving skill of Guidance and Counseling Students, Sriwijaya University. This type of research is quantitative research using survey methods as well as data analysis techniques using regression analysis. The sample in this study of 142 students consisted of three generations of 2017, 2018 and 2019 Guidance and Counseling Study Program, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education Sriwijaya University. Sampling techniques using Proportional Random Sampling. The instruments in this study used likert scale which has been tested validity and reliaitscredibility. The conclution is that there is an influence adversity quotient on problem solving skill of Faculty of Teacher Training and Education students of Sriwijaya University, its mean the higher adversity quotient of students in then the higher the problem solving skill owned by students of Guidance and Counseling Study Program, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Sriwijaya University. The implications of this research are used as input in the creation of guidance and counseling service programs.
