Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan motivasi dan minat belajar siswa dalam menulis serta mengetahui apakah ada peningkatan dalam penerapan model  Picture And Picture  terhadap kemampuan menulis karangan sederhana siswa kelas III SD Pangudi Luhur Vincentius Semarang. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dalam bentuk Pre-Experimental Design dengan  jenis One Group Pre-Test  –  Post-Test  Design. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas III SD Pangudi Luhur Vincentius Semarang. Teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah  Non probability  Sampling dengan jenis sampling jenuh. Data dalam penelitian ini diperoleh melalui dokumentasi, wawancara dan tes. Berdasarkan hasil analisis akhir yang telah dilakukan terlihat presentase ketuntasan belajar siswa menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan menulis karangan sederhana siswa yang mendapat perlakuan dengan menggunakan model  Picture And  Picture  dapat meningkat. Hasil  Pre-Test menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata nilai siswa 59,75, sebanyak 45% atau sejumlah sembilan siswa yang tuntas dan 55% atau sejumlah 11 siswa yang belum tuntas. Sedangkan hasil Post-Test menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata nilai siswa 71, sebanyak 85% atau sejumlah 17 siswa yang tuntas dan 15% atau sejumlah tiga siswa yang belum tuntas. Jadi, terdapat peningkatan kemampuan menulis karangan sederhana siswa kelas III SD Pangudi Luhur Vincentius Semarang dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran Picture And Picture. Kata kunci: kemampuan menulis, model picture and picture, motivasi.

Abstract

This research aims to reveal the profile of students' science learning motivation at MTs Muhammadiyah Al Manar Demak which implements a Pondok Pesantren-based curriculum. Through a qualitative descriptive method with a case study approach, data was collected through a questionnaire which includes three main indicators: students' understanding of the meaning of career (Value of Career), level of motivation to learn science (Science Motivation), and interest in science subjects (Academic Self Concept IPA ). The research results reveal that the majority of students have a deep understanding of the reasons for choosing their career with a percentage of 83%, and their motivation to learn science tends to be high with a percentage of 45.71%, with the majority of students showing good interest in science subjects with a percentage of 57%. These findings provide valuable insight into the factors that influence students' science learning motivation in Islamic boarding school environments. These results can be used as a basis for developing more effective and supportive learning strategies in improving student learning achievement in science, especially in madrasas with Islamic boarding school-based curricula.

Abstract

This article aims to determine the profile of junior high school science teachers in the potential for implementing the STEAM learning approach to the concept of climate change to improve the creative thinking skills of junior high school students in Demak Regency. STEAM learning is a learning approach that emphasizes the relationship between knowledge and skills in science, technology, engineering, art and mathematics. This research is a type of qualitative descriptive research involving 19 junior high school science teachers in Demak Regency. The instrument is a questionnaire given online via Google Form. The research results showed that 52.6% of teachers knew the STEAM learning approach and 47.4% did not know. As many as 26.3% of teachers already understand learning with STEAM projects and only 57.1% have implemented it, while 42.9% have not implemented it. The results showed that 48% had great fun and 52% enjoyed learning with the STEAM approach and 42.1% of students became very active, 57.9% of students became active.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to obtain an overview of the use of ESD-oriented differentiated learning in science learning Ecology and Biodiversity material at SMP N 1 Wirosari, Grobogan Regency. Currently differentiated learning is very necessary in the Merdeka curriculum, because by using differentiated learning a teacher can find out students' readiness to receive lessons and find out students' heterogeneous learning styles. Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) is defined as education that encourages change in knowledge, skills, values and attitudes to enable a more sustainable and equitable society for all. The type of research used is field research. The data collection techniques used were observation, questionnaires, interviews and documents. The data analysis technique uses qualitative description techniques with a sample of 2 science teachers at SMPN 1 Wirosari, Grobogan district

Abstract

This research aims to determine the life skills profile of madrasah students, especially in learning science and digestive material. This research used descriptive quantitative methods with a sample of class VIII MTs Fatahilah Semarang. Data was obtained from questionnaires and tests. The research results show that the life skills profile of madrasah students is still not optimal, as indicated by the average being in the medium category (34.16). Madrasah students' life skills are not optimal, one of which is caused by teachers who have not developed learning that can develop students' potential optimally, especially life skills. This research is limited to the locus and perspective used so that further research can be carried out with a wider locus and perspective of madrasa students in responding to more complex future challenges that it will give birth to more comprehensive research.

Abstract

Pentingnya penanaman nilai karaker pada anak untuk membentuk anak yang berkarakter baik sehingga dapat menjadi penerus generasi bangsa yang selain cerdas juga berkarakter. Seiring berkembangnya teknologi, media massa mengambil peranan penting dalam perkembangan karakter anak. Film animasi upin ipin adalah salah satu tayangan yang diperuntukkan untuk anak-anak dan digemari oleh anak-anak usia sekolah dasar. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui nilai karakter yang terdapat pada film animasi Upin dan Ipin episode Buku Nota Jarjit dan untuk mengetahui pengaruh film animasi Upin dan Ipin dalam penanaman karakter siswa kelas IV SD N Temperak. Metode pengumpulan data dalam penelitian menggunakan observasi, wawancara dan angket. Berdasarkan hasil analisis ditemukan bahwa film animasi Upin dan Ipin episode Buku Nota Jarjit memiliki lima nilai karakter didalamnya yaitu disiplin, peduli sosial, bersahabat, tanggung jawab dan kerja keras. Film animasi Upin dan Ipin berpengaruh positif terhadap penanaman nilai-nilai karakter pada siswa kelas IV SD N Temperak.

Abstract

Environmental education (EE) plays an important role in instilling environmental awareness character and behavior in students from an early age. This study aims to determine the environmental literacy profile of students at SMA N 1 Gemuh Kendal. This research is a descriptive qualitative research. The research was conducted on 202 grade X students, including ecological knowledge, cognitive skills, awareness of the environment, and environmentally responsible behavior. The data collection was conducted using the Middle School Environmental Litercy Survey (MSELS). The research data were collected through Google Forms and analyzed descriptively based on the achievement score criteria. The results showed that the environmental literacy score was 48.76 in the moderate category. Indicators of ecological knowledge 45.60 (fair), cognitive skills 22.77 (poor), environmental awareness 62.23 (good), and environmentally responsible behavior 64.45 (good). Efforts need to be made so that environmental literacy at SMA N 1 Gemuh reaches an excellent category.

Abstract

Students' scientific literacy and critical thinking skills are very important to meet the challenges of the 21st century, especially in science learning. This research aimed to determine the scientific literacy and critical thinking abilities of junior high school students. This research uses quantitative descriptive methods. Data collection techniques were done using instruments to test students' scientific literacy and critical thinking abilities. The research subjects were 29 class VIII students. The results of the research show that the students' scientific literacy abilities with an average score of (29.89) are very poor. Of the three indicators of scientific literacy based on PISA, evaluating and designing scientific research received a score of (41.38) poor, interpreting scientific data and evidence received a score of (20.69) very poor and explaining phenomena scientifically (27.59) very poor. Meanwhile, critical thinking skills received an average score of (37.93) which was very poor. Of the five indicators of critical thinking based on the Ennis framework, giving a simple explanation got a score of (79.31) good, building a basic classification got a score of (24.14) very poor, making an inference got a score of (31.03) very poor, making an explanation more continued to get a score of (13.79) which was very poor, managing strategies and tactics got a score of (37.93) which was very poor. The results of this research showed that the scientific literacy and critical thinking abilities of junior high school students in science learning were still low.

Abstract

Tujuan yang dicapai adalah mendeskripsikan Pengaruh Media Kotak Pas  Bangun Ruang pada Tema Kegemaranku terhadap hasil belajar siswa kelas I SDN 1 Karangasem Kabupaten Grobogan. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif. Desain penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Pre-Eksperimental Design dengan bentuk One Grup Pretest-Posttest Design. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas I SDN 1 Karangasem Kabupaten Grobogan. Sampel yang diambil adalah siswa dari kelas I SDN 1 Karangasem Kabupaten Grobogan yang berjumlah 14 orang dengan menggunakan teknik Non Probability Sampling yang merupakan jenis sampling jenuh. Data dalam penelitian ini diperoleh melalui tes, dokumentasi dan wawancara. Hasil belajar siswa kelas I menggunakan Media Kotak Pas  Bangun Ruang pada Tema Kegemaranku, diperoleh nilai rata-rata pretest sebesar 56,43 dengan nilai tertinggi 75 dan nilai terendah 40. Nilai rata-rata posttest sebesar 75,36 dengan nilai tertinggi 100 dan nilai terendah 55. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan data akhir nilai posttest diperoleh Lhitung  = 0,1451 dengan n = 14 dan taraf nyata α = 0,05 atau 5% dari daftar nilai kritis L didapat Ltabel =0,227, karena Lhitung < Ltabel yaitu 0,1451 < 0,227 maka H0 diterima, sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa bahwa sampel berasal dari populasi berdistribusi normal. Dari data hasil pretest dan posttest memenuhi kriteria pengujian karena keduanya berdistribusi normal .Berdasarkanuji-t diperoleh thitung > ttabelyaitu 16,466> 1,771. Dengandemikian H0 ditolakdan Haditerima. Kata Kunci: Kotak Pas Bangun Ruang, Hasil Belajar

Abstract

Quality education is an important foundation for the progress of a society. However, the main challenge in the education system is to provide learning that is in accordance with the needs, interests, and potential of individual students. To overcome this, an inclusive learning approach is implemented, known as "Differentiated Learning". This learning emphasizes the recognition of diversity among students and efforts to adjust teaching methods to suit their needs. In addition, innovation in the use of learning models by teachers is important to create a pleasant learning climate and stimulate students to be more successful. The Community Partnership Program (PKM) aims to increase awareness of the Education community, especially teachers, of the importance of Differentiated Learning in improving the quality of education. Through a series of activities such as workshops on the preparation of tools and the implementation of Differentiated Learning in several schools as a method applied in this PKM to achieve significant results. The outcomes obtained include an increase in teacher understanding of the concept of Differentiated Learning, an increase in teacher competence in designing learning that suits student needs, and an increase in academic achievement and student welfare. With increasing teacher competence in preparing innovative and student-centered learning, it can have a positive and sustainable impact in creating an inclusive and diversity-oriented educational environment.
