Abstract

The quality of education is very dependent on the role of teachers in it because teachers are professional educators. Quality education processes and outcomes are also inseparable from teacher performance. Therefore, given the importance of this, various efforts are still being made to improve teacher performance such as self-discipline, self-concept and self-efficacy as will be discussed in this study. This study uses a quantitative approach by using the method of observation and questionnaire design. The population observed was 38 teachers, because the number was less than 100, the sample was determined using the census technique. The data were then tested for validity and reliability as well as the classical assumption test. In the end there is multiple regression analysis using SPSS version 26.0 program. The conclusion that self-discipline has a significant effect on improving teacher performance. Likewise, what happened to the independent variables of self-concept and self-efficacy also had a partial and significant influence on improving teacher performance. These three variables have a significant effect simultaneously on improving teacher performance.

Abstract

The results of data classification and field surveys by Unsuri students in Wilayut Village, Sukodono District. Has potential MSMEs in the form of businesses that produce a product of goods or services. However, in marketing activities, business actors are still doing conventionally and the use of branding strategies is also not optimal. So that the scope of marketing is still limited, making the business being run unable to develop properly. KKN activities as a form of community service in Wilayut Village aim to provide social contributions from the campus to the community as well as for the community to get help with thoughts and energy to carry out village development and solve community problems in the village. The method used is the MSME data classification method and partner participation by providing direction on the benefits of social media. Participating in contributing to the classification of MSME data in Wilayut Village and helping business actors in increasing the existence of cilok kuah seblak bu tin as one of the MSMEs engaged in the food sector.

Abstract

Currently, providing halal certification for a product has become a necessity. Consumers are now more careful when choosing halal-certified products before consuming them. In Jumputrejo Village, Sukodono District, Sidoarjo Regency, there are a number of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) that have not obtained halal certification. Therefore, the KKN team from Sunan Giri University Surabaya has held a seminar on Increasing MSME Turnover through Halal Certification, with the aim that local MSMEs can obtain halal certification. The process of implementing this seminar consists of three stages, namely (1) planning, which involves mapping the problem; (2) finding solutions to the problem; and (3) coordination with MSME partners. The implementation of the seminar on turnover development through halal certification was carried out using the method of delivering material and question and answer sessions. The results of this activity show that MSME partners who attended the seminar showed enthusiasm in asking questions related to halal products, the benefits of halal-labeled products, and the procedures for receiving halal certification.

Abstract

children are the successors of the family and the nation. In Kedung Jumputrejo Village, Sukodono Subdistrict, the development is very dense which requires the community to compete to continue living. This community service focuses on introducing the concept of trading to foster an entrepreneurial spirit. The main objective of this community service is to introduce the concept of trading to children or santri at TPQ Alif Lam Mim, Kedung Jumputrejo Village, Sukodono District with the aim of fostering an entrepreneurial spirit from an early age. The strategy method in this community service is Asset Based Community Development (ABCD). The results of the service showed that there were children's characters who began to dare to express opinions in negotiations based on what they wanted to get and began to grow their interest in entrepreneurship which was reflected in their enthusiasm.

Abstract

Desa Pasinan merupakan desa yang memiliki banyak sekali potensi khususnya dalam mengembangkan kebugaran jasmani. Kebugaran jasmani dilaksanakan agar dapat dicapai melalui salah satu senam sehat dengan mengajak anak-anak dan ibu-ibu PKK untuk berpartisipasi dalam rangkaian acara senam sehat desa pasinan. Strategi Participatory Rural Tujuan dari strategi penilaian (PRA) dalam pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah untuk mendorong masyarakat agar turut serta dalam proses penciptaan dan pengembangan kegiatan olah raga sehat di Desa Pasinan. Hasil dari implementasi yang telah dilakukan menunjukkan semangat anak-anak dan masyarakat desa pasinan untuk mengikuti serangkaian kegiatan senam sehat. Warga desa menunjukkan kesadaran dan kemandirian dengan mengikuti senam yang berdampak baik terhadap kemampuan gerak kekuatan otot, kekuatan, kelenturan, kelincahan, dan keseimbangan tubuh. Melalui upaya ini, masyarakat Desa Pasinan Kecamatan Lekok mulai memahami pentingnya pengembangan senam sehat untuk menjaga kesehatan dan kebugaran tubuh.

Abstract

This literature review examines the relationship between performance management and employee retention in start-up companies. In the competitive landscape of start-ups, retaining talented employees is crucial for sustaining growth and innovation. Effective performance management systems, which include regular feedback, clear performance metrics, and employee development opportunities, have been identified as vital components in enhancing employee satisfaction and loyalty. This study synthesizes findings from various research articles published post-2019, highlighting how robust performance management practices can lead to improved employee engagement and retention rates. Furthermore, it explores the unique challenges faced by start-ups in implementing these systems, such as limited resources and evolving organizational cultures. By analyzing the interplay between performance management and retention strategies, this review provides insights for start-up leaders seeking to foster a committed workforce. The findings underscore the importance of aligning performance management initiatives with employee expectations and organizational goals to create a sustainable business environment. Future research should focus on sector-specific studies to further elucidate the dynamics of performance management in diverse start-up contexts.

Abstract

The objectives of this community service (PKM) are (1) Increasing the entrepreneurial capacity building of UPPKA Kelut Makmur (Klagen-Wilayut Makmur) cadres in Wilayut Village, (2) UPPKA Kelut Makmur cadres have the provision of soft skills and hard skills to carry out businesses with competitive advantages, (3) Ice Cream Products "Food Healty" can be developed for business. The target is 15 UPPKA Kelut Makmur cadres who are members who manage village businesses. The problems faced are: a. Do not have capacity building as a provision for the ability to do business; b. Limited facilities and infrastructure; d. Lack of product creativity; e. Lack of product creativity. Lack of product creativity; e. Competence of managers who are still conventional; f. Do not have an integrated business model. Not having an integrated business model. The solution to the problem is an entrepreneurship training programme, through the concept of creative business through electronic media based on socio-technopreneurship. The ice cream business will be developed to be distributed to toddler and elderly posyandu and general customers. The programmes carried out are: conducting a business development programme workshop. The results of PkM are improving soft skills and hard skills of UPPKA Kelut Makmur members as novice business people.

Abstract

The rapid development of technology has resulted in various innovations being created to improve a business. One of the implementations used in the business sector is a e-commerce. There are various types of e-commerce that can be use Indonesian people. Shopee is one of the most popular e-commerce sites with an average 0f 161 million visits one month. Competition with other e-commerce forces Shopee to develop the right strategy to attract consumer buying interest. This study aims to examine the influence of brand ambassador, advertisement, online cutomer review, online customer rating on purchase intention Shopee in Sidoarjo. This study uses a quantitative research method. The population and this research are all of the Sidoarjo people what use Shopee. Researchers distribute 100 questionnaires with 100% responses. This research uses questionnaires which are distributed online using google form media. The analysis technique used is multiple linear regeression analysis. Based on the results of t-test can be seen that brand a,bassadors (X1), advertisement (X2), online customer review (X3), online customer rating (X4) have a patially significant effect on purchase intention (Y). This is verified with the t-count which show the value for the barnd ambassador (X1) is 2,169 with a significance value of 0,033 so that it is stated that hypothesis 1 is a accepted. For the t-count on the advertising variabel (X2) is 2,331 with a signifinance value of 0,022 so that it can be state that hypothesis 2 is a accepted. For online customer review (X3) it has a t-count 0,707 with a significance value of 0,482 so it can be stated that hypothesis 3 is rejected. For the online customer rating variable (X4) has a t-count value of 2,731 with a significance value of 0,008 so that can be stated that hypothesis 4 is accepted.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of supervision support and job satisfaction on employee performance. The research approach used is quantitative by involving 100 respondents from one of the companies in the area in Sidoarjo City, using the saturated sampling method. Data were collected through a questionnaire with a 5-point Likert scale, and statistical analysis was conducted using multiple linear regression. The results showed that both independent variables, namely supervisory support and job satisfaction, have a significant influence on employee performance. Multiple linear regression analysis shows that changes in the level of supervisory support and job satisfaction are positively correlated with increases in employee performance. These findings can serve as a foundation for companies in improving human resource management strategies to increase employee productivity and well-being. Using a quantitative approach, this study makes a positive contribution to the human resource management literature, as well as offering practical solutions for companies in achieving their organizational goals.

Abstract

Penelitian yang sedang dilakukan bermaksud untuk menguji pengaruh gaji dan motivasi kewirausahaan terhadap kinerja pekerja produksi pada usaha mikro. Di wilayah Kecamatan Tandes Surabaya, Jawa Timur, Indonesia terdapat 64 pekerja produksi di usaha mikro dan dari jumlah 64 pekerja tersebut merupakan sampel penelitian ini. Regresi linier berganda melalui software SPPS versi ke-26 menjadi metode untuk menganalisis datanya. Dibuktikan melalui hasil penelitiannya bahwa gaji mempengaruhi kinerja pekerja produksi usaha mikro dengan pengaruh yang positif signifikan. Hasil pengaruh positif signifikan ternyata tidak dapat diberikan oleh motivasi kewirausahaan yang berarti tidak terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan dari motivasi kewirausahaan terhadap kinerja pekerja produksi pada usaha mikro. Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa pengusaha dapat meningkatkan kinerja pekerja produksi dengan memberikan gaji yang layak dan itu menjadi motivasi sebenarnya dari pekerja untuk bekerja lebih baik. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi penting dalam bidang manajemen SDM pada usaha mikro, karena hasil penelitian ini dapat menjadi dasar bagi pengusaha untuk mengembangkan strategi yang dapat meningkatkan kinerja pekerja produksi dalam usaha mikro. Oleh karena itu, perusahaan mikro dapat memperoleh manfaat dari kinerja yang lebih baik dalam mencapai tujuan organisasi.
