Abstract

Pembelajaran berbasis praktikum merupakan metode yang dapat membantu mahasiswa menemukan fakta dari teori yang dipelajarinya pada perkuliahan anatomi tumbuhan, sehingga mahasiswa memiliki kemampuan kognitif dan psikomotorik yang handal dalam membedakan struktur bagian dalam tumbuhan melalui pengamatan dengan mikroskop. Penelitian ini telah dilakukan pada bulan Juni sampai dengan September 2013 di STKIP Bina Bangsa Meulaboh. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan kemampuan kognitif dan psikomotorik mahasiswa, kemampuan dosen membimbing dan melaksanakan pembelajaran, tanggapan mahasiswa terhadap penerapan pembelajaran berbasis praktikum pada perkuliahan anatomi tumbuhan. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen dan metode yang digunakan adalah metode kuantitatif dengan desain penelitian kontrol grup pretes dan postes. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah instrumen tes kemampuan kognitif, lembar observasi mahasiswa dan dosen serta angket. Data kemampuan kognitif dianalisis dengan menggunakan  uji t. Data peningkatan kemampuan psikomotorik, kemampuan dosen dan tanggapan mahasiswa dianalisis dengan menggunakan persentase. Hasil uji statistik untuk kemampuan kognitif menunjukkan nilai t-hitung 6,2, maka t-hitung dari t-tabel 1,6. Kemampuan psikimotorik mahasiswa kelas eksperimen sebelum pembelajaran adalah 3,3% dan setelah pembelajaran 53,3%. Kemampuan dosen dalam membimbing dan melaksanakan kegiatan praktikum adalah 100%. Penerapan pembelajaran memperoleh tanggapan yaitu 58% mahasiswa sangat setuju dengan pembelajaran berbasis praktikum. Kesimpulan dalam penelitian ini adalah penerapan pembelajaran berbasis praktikum dapat meningkatkan kemampuan kognitif dan kemampuan psikomotorik mahasiswa, kemampuan dosen dalam membimbing dan melaksanakan kegiatan praktikum sangat baik. Penerapan pembelajaran berbasis praktikum pada perkuliahan anatomi tumbuhan mendapat tanggapan positif.

Abstract

The study, entitled “Application of  Picture and Picture with  power point  media to improve student learning outcomes on human Digestion Food in the Elementary School 54 Banda Aceh’ was caried out on August to September 2013 at SDN 54 Banda Aceh. This study aimed to determine the increase student learning outcomes in V class  through the application of Picture and Picture with  Power Point  media to Improve Student learning outcomes on human Digestion Food in the Elementary School 54 Banda Aceh’. The methode used in this study is experimental with Pretest-postest control group design. Data were obtained from the administration of pretest and posttest at the end of the lesson. Analysis of the data using the t test. The statistical results showed that the value of the t-test was 4,21 then t count t-table of 1.645. The conclusion of this study was application of picture and picture with power point media was increased student learning outcomes than using convensional method

Abstract

Kajian penerapan pembelajaran berbasis masalah terhadap peningkatan keterampilan metakognitif siswa pada konsep sistem reproduksi manusia telah dilakukan di SMA Negeri 2 Sigli dengan menggunakan metode kuasi eksperimen dengan desain penelitian the one group pre-test and pos-test. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas XI semester ganjil pada Tahun Ajaran 2012/2013 yang berjumlah 120 orang. Sampel diambil siswa kelas XI-B yang berjumlah 30 orang. Analisis data dilakukan dengan uji t menggunakan program SPSS 16.0 for windows. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: terdapat perbedaan skor keterampilan metakognitif siswa yang signifikan (P0,05) dengan nilai thiting= 16,76 ttabel =2,045  antara sebelum dan sesudah pembelajaran berbasis masalah.  Dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan pembelajaran berbasis masalah dapat meningkatkan keterampilan metakognitif siswa pada konsep sistem reproduksi manusia.

Abstract

This study aims to develop the 2013 curriculum biology instructional materials based on lesson study and its effect on science process skills and students' learning motivation in Pidie Jaya Regency. The initial stage of this study was to train the biology group teachers from Subject Teacher Association in Pidie Jaya district to develop 2013 curriculum biology instructional materials based on Lesson study. Instructional materialss that are trained based on Lesson Study are: Learning Implementation Plans, Worksheet, and Assessment. The implementation phase of the development of learning devices through activities, namely: 1) General Explanation of the basic principles of lesson study; 2). Workshop on preparing learning too 3). Tests (do) of tool compiled through open lesson at school. 4) Stage of reflection (see) on implementation in class. The study population was class X students of SMAN 1 Meureudu. The sample was determined by 30 students of class X-IPAl of SMAN 1 Meureudu. Data on science process skills and motivation were obtained using questionnaires and analyzed descriptively. Based on the results of the study it is known that the implementation of lesson study based instructional materialss can improve science process skills and learning motivation of class X students of SMA Negeri 1 Meureudu from 3.49 (sufficient) to 4.27 (good).

Abstract

This study aimed to use the learning model Problem Based Learning in increasing motivation, learning outcomes, and the relationship between motivation and student learning outcomes in the human digestive system concept. This research was conducted in May 2016 at MAN Blangpidie, Aceh Province. This type of research used experimental methods and descriptive with pretest-posttest design One Group Design. The subjects were all students of grade XI MAN Blangpidie totaling 120 students, the sample in this study is 40 students. Data analysis was performed by ARCS questionnaires motivation percentage. The results showed that an increase in student motivation t-hit = 14.61 t-table = 1.99. The conclusion was that the use of Problem Based Learning model of learning can increase student’s motivation in the human digestive systemconcept for class XI MAN Blangpidie

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the kinship relationship of Malvaceae species based on morphological characteristics, this study uses a descriptive method that interprets the kinship of the species Malvaceae based on morphological characteristics. The object of the research is the species of Malvaceae namely hibiscus (Hibiscus archeri), waru (Hibiscus tiliaceus), rosella (Hibiscus sabdariffa), pulutan (Urena lobata L.), ocra (Abelmoschus esculentus), cotton (Gossypium hirsutum), sidaguri (Sida rhombifolia L.), kembang tidur (Malvaviscus penduliflorus), lanterns (Abutilon pictum). The parameters used are stem organs, leaves, and flowers. Data analysis was performed by calculating the Similarity Index (IS) and Dissimilarity Index (ID), the data in Cluster Analysis to group Malvaceae species based on the same number of characters. The results of the research show that the closest kinship relation owned by a combination of plants that has the lowest Dissimilarity Index (ID) value in the species of hibiscus (Hibiscus archeri) and kembang tidur (Malvaviscus penduliflorus). The conclusion of this study is there are three categories of relationships of the Malvaceae species, which are the closest kinship relation, close kinship relation, and the kinship relation are not close. The kinship relationship is remarkably close to the lowest Dissimilarity (ID) Index value indicated by the combination of hibiscus (Hibiscus archeri) and kembang tidur (Malvaviscus penduliflorus) with ID value = 25.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analyze skills of metacognition students of 24 State SMP in Malang City base on pre knowledge, class level, and sex category . The instruments used in this study were meta-cognition of inventory junior and rating scale of meta-cognition skill. Anava Factorial is continued with further test by differentiate test with LSD (Least Significant Different) are used in analyzing the data. The result of the study showed female students are more active than male students in questioning, answering questions and presenting the result of observation. Female students are superior in meta-cognition than male students. For students in class 8, the metacognition are lower than those who are in class 7 and class 9. Based on pre knowledge, class level, and sex show meta-cognition in the level of OK

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TGT terhadap penguasaan konsep sistem pencernaan manusia di SMA Negeri I Sigli. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode eksperimen dengan rancangan Pretest-postest Control Group Design. Populasi penelitian adalah  seluruh siswa kelas XI IPA SMA Negeri I Sigli semester dua sebanyak 8 kelas dengan jumlah siswa 240 orang, sedangkan sampel dalam penelitian ini diambil secara acak atau random sampling sebanyak 60 siswa yang terdiri dari 30 siswa kelas XI-IPA5 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan 30 orang siswa kelas XI-IPA6 sebagai kelas kontrol. Pembelajaran kelas eksperimen diajarkan dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TGT berbasis praktikum, sedangkan kelas kontrol diajarkan dengan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TGT tanpa praktikum. Teknik analisis data dilakukan dengan uji t dengan bantuan program SPSS 16.0 for windows. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terjadi perbedaan yang signifikan penguasaan konsep terhadap siswa yang diajarkan melalui model pembelajaran TGT berbasis praktikum dengan siswa yang diajarkan dengan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TGT tanpa praktikum, dengan perbedaan keduanya pada taraf P 0,05, t hitung = 7,570 t tabel = 2,000  untuk penguasaan konsep. Dengan demikian, terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TGT berbasis praktikum terhadap penguasaan konsep siswa pada konsep sistem pencernaan manusia.

Abstract

Search, solve, create and share (SSCS) learning model  can help students to evolve some generic skills namely spoken, coorporation, and problem solving skills. Those skills are the aspects of assessment to evaluate the achievement of teaching learning process that implements SSCS models. The study was aimed to determine the increase in student achievement, scientific generic skills, and correlation between the skills and the learning outcomes  of students of class VII of MTsN Model Banda Aceh in 2013 in concept of classification of living things  throught implementing SSCS model. The study used experimental method with randomized control group pretest - posttest design . The study used two classes experimental-group and control-group classes chosen according to pretest scores. Data was collected pretest, posttest and scientific generic assessment The results showed that the value of tcount ttable  (5,8 1,6). This indicated that there was a significant increase in students learning outcome. The value of t-count of communication aspect (1),  coorporation aspect (2,7), and problem solving skills (3,4). The correlation among  communication , cooperation  and problem solving skills was high ( r = 0,7).  Therefore it can be concluded that there were increases in student achievement and scientific generic skills and correlation between scientific generic skills and cognitive student learning outcomes except communication aspect.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan hasil belajar kognitif siswa pada materi pencemaran dan kerusakan lingkungan melalui penerapan model kooperatif tipe jigsaw. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimental semu dengan desain Pretest-Post-test Control Group. Sampel yang digunakan adalah kelompok eksperimen kelas VII-3 dan kelompok kontrol kelas  VII-4. Populasi adalah siswa MTsN Kuta Baro Kabupaten Aceh Besar. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan pretes dan postes dan dianalasisi dengan analisis data gain. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa peningkatan hasil belajar kognitif pada kelas experimen adalah kategori rendah 30% dan sedang 70 %, sedangkan pada pembelajaran konvensional adalah kategori  rendah 57%, sedang 42%. Kesimpulan penelitian menunjukkan hasil belajar siswa pada materi pencemaran dan kerusakan lingkungan dengan model kooperatif tipe jigsaw lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan hasil yang dibelajarkan dengan pembelajaran konvensional.
