Abstract

This research is to study relationship between the CR, NPM, ROE and DER of realestate companies listed on the IDX from 2016 to 2020. Determined to meet thestandard objectives of the research, and extracted 70 data samples. 14 companies.The data is processed form the 25th generation SPSS statistical software. Then usemultiple linear regression, simultaneous, partial, and certainty test to test thehypothesis. Whether the CR, ROE or NPM has a substantial impact on the stock price,while the CR, ROE and NPM have a smaller effect. After a joint test, all the factorshave a substantial impact on the stock price. The R-squared is 0.336, or 33.6%,indicating that the impact of CR, NPM, ROE, and DER on the stock price is 33.6%, andthe rest of the factors are 66.4% Variable influence.

Abstract

The Shari'a Regional Regulation legitimizes the implementation of Islamic cultural values and Minangkabau culture in West Sumatra. Knowledge of the reality of regional regulation practice is important for harmonizing social and state life in a pluralistic society. This research aims to explain the relationship between the emergence of the Sharia Regional Regulation in West Sumatra and its implementation in city districts in West Sumatra. This research used historical methods, namely heuristics, criticism, interpretation, and historiography. The final results of the research reveal the positive phenomenon of the implementation of Shari'a regulations in West Sumatra. The appearance of school children they dressed as Muslim. Before studying, students were accustomed to praying and memorizing several verses in the Al-Qur'an, attending a Ramadhan Islamic boarding school during the holy month of Ramadhan, and participating in Youth Wirid activities after Ramadhan. State Civil Servants (ASN) wore Muslim clothing during official hours. In certain areas, being able to read the Al-Qur’an was a condition for getting married. Regional regulations with Islamic nuances also showed the political content of the figures, social organizations and parties, legislative members (DPRD), and power politics. This study contributes to the importance of awareness and tolerance in social practices between religious communities in various community organizations and government agencies.

Abstract

One of the expected outcomes of the Student Community Service Program (Kuliah Kerja Nyata or KKN) is the publication of written works in online media. This community service activity aimed to facilitate students in producing online media articles based on the KKN programs they had implemented. The training material covered techniques for collecting and processing data from field activities into a media article. The training was attended by 19 students from Universitas Andalas. Data from observations, documents, and interviews were used as the basis for the written work. The training was conducted virtually through guidance, debriefing, mentoring, and monitoring via a WhatsApp group. A total of three training sessions were held on the Zoom Meeting platform, with a total duration of five hours, focusing on a range of writing competencies. Following the training, 17 participants (90%) successfully published their articles in seven online media in West Sumatra.

Abstract

This applied psycholinguistics study explores whether multimodal flashcards (containing text, audio, and a picture) are more effective than monomodal flashcards (containing text only) as a tool for learning the meanings of novel second-language (L2) concrete nouns. A flashcard application that utilizes active recall testing and spaced repetition Anki was used as a research instrument. A within-subject design was used: Each participant (n = 25) studied a total of 30 L2-L1 (EsperantoIndonesian) word pairs over the course of 7 study sessions using an assortment of 15 multimodal and 15 monomodal flashcards, with each word pair being presented multimodally to approximately half of participants and monomodally to the other half. When (re)viewing the answer side of a card, participants were instructed to tap Good if they recalled the answer correctly or Again if not. Recall accuracy data for the two card types was collected and then analysed using a paired t-test, the results of which indicated that the number of user-initiated reviews (Again count, which is indicative of the number of memory lapses) was significantly higher for monomodal flashcards (M = 83.2 ,SD = 61.3) than for multimodal flashcards (M = 58.8 ,SD = 32.1), t(24) = 3.4, p = .001. These results support the hypothesis that multimodal flashcards are more effective than monomodal flashcards as a tool for learning the meanings of L2 concrete nouns. By implication, language learners can enhance their recall accuracy of L2 concrete nouns by creating and using flashcards that include multiple semantically congruent modes.

Abstract

This study investigates the role of the English Linguistic Landscape as a potential learning medium for English as a Foreign Language (EFL)  in Padang, West Sumatra. While previous studies have described the English Linguistic Landscape in Indonesia, few have explicitly explored its pedagogical value and discursive implications for language learning. Using a mixed-methods approach, the research analyzed 850 English-containing public signs across the city and surveyed 114 EFL students at Universitas Andalas regarding their perceptions of English in public spaces. We examined the signs regarding linguistic units (as the texts) and their visual positioning and relation to symbolic meaning and cultural identity. Findings reveal that English is prominently used in commercial signage, often in larger fonts and strategic positions, signaling its dominance and symbolic prestige over Indonesian. Student responses indicate generally positive attitudes, with more than 80% acknowledging that the English Linguistic Landscape contributes to vocabulary building, grammar awareness, and motivation for language learning. However, the study also notes grammatical and hybrid construction inaccuracies that may reinforce non-standard English patterns. The discussion highlights English Linguistic Landscape as a discourse resource that reflects globalization, power relations, and shifting identities in urban Indonesia. Implications suggest that the English Linguistic Landscape can be integrated into EFL pedagogy through critical analysis tasks and multimodal learning activities. Future research should expand to the digital English Linguistic Landscape and comparative contexts across Indonesian cities. This research underscores the pedagogical and sociocultural significance of the English Linguistic Landscape, though further work is needed to deepen its discourse analysis and pedagogical applications.

Abstract

Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat ini dilakukan di Nagari Padangganting Kabupaten Tanah Datar  Propinsi Sumatera Barat yang bertujuan untuk memberikan ilmu dan keterampilan tata rias wajah serta kreasi jilbab kepada anggota PKKyang berasal dari 4 Desa yang berada di Nagari Padangganting. Target yang ingin dicapai dari pengabdian ini adalah meningkatkan keterampilan anggota PKK dalam segi seni merias wajah dan kreasi jilbab, sehingga nantinya para anggota PKK memiliki kemampuan dan terampil merias diri sendiri, yang untuk lebih lanjutnya bisa merias wajah pengantin dalam bentuk yang lebih luas sehingga dapat menambah finansial jika membuka jasa tata rias/ make up. Kegiatan ini dapat terlaksana berkat kerja sama dengan Wali Nagari Padangganting dalam rentang waktu lima bulan, bertempat di Kantor Wali Nagari Padangganting. Metode yang digunakan dalam proses kegiatan ini melalui metode ceramah, demonstrasi dan evaluasi

Abstract

From a conceptual standpoint, this research examines how the 7P marketing mix influences purchasing decisions. Of course, the perspective from many publications examined as well as their differences and similarities can be found in various related journals. In addition, several topics related to the impact of the 7P marketing mix on purchasing decisions will be discussed in depth and detailed in this research journal. The literature review research method is used in this research journal to gather data collected from several journals that have been combined into one journal for review and discussion in this research journal.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji fenomena sosial yang terjadi akibat penggunaan aplikasi media sosial TikTok, khususnya dampak negatifnya terhadap perilaku remaja, yang diinterpretasikan melalui karya tari berjudul "Kurenah". Karya ini merupakan sebuah koreografi tunggal yang mengekspresikan perilaku malas dan pemberontakan remaja saat menyelesaikan pekerjaan rumah, sebagai akibat dari ketergantungan pada TikTok. Penggunaan aplikasi ini diketahui memicu perubahan perilaku, seperti kecenderungan untuk menunda pekerjaan, kurangnya disiplin, serta apatisme terhadap lingkungan sekitar. Melalui pendekatan eksplorasi gerak, improvisasi, dan pembentukan komposisi tari, karya "Kurenah" menggabungkan elemen gerakan realis dengan gerakan-gerakan yang diadaptasi dari tren TikTok, disertai ekspresi komikal. Koreografi ini tidak hanya menggambarkan pengaruh teknologi pada kehidupan sehari-hari remaja, tetapi juga menawarkan kritik sosial terhadap fenomena tersebut. Karya ini juga mencerminkan betapa kuatnya pengaruh media sosial dalam membentuk perilaku generasi muda. Selain itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan wawasan bagi para pendidik dan orang tua tentang pentingnya pengawasan terhadap penggunaan media sosial oleh remaja.

Abstract

This conceptual article explores the role of metaphor in navigating and bridging the diverse realms from an interdisciplinary context. Metaphor, as both a linguistic device and a cognitive mechanism, is a powerful tool for transcending disciplinary boundaries, facilitating the exchange of ideas, and fostering innovation in language. This article built the concepts underlying mechanisms through which metaphor enables the synthesis of knowledge from Linguistics, Literature, History, Archeology, and Culture. Furthermore, the article examines the implications of metaphor use in interdisciplinary contexts, including its potential to enhance collaboration, creativity, and problem-solving. This article contributes to a deeper understanding of knowledge integration and synthesis dynamics in today’s increasingly interconnected academic investigations. In linguistics, metaphor is a powerful tool for understanding abstract notions through verbal expression. Metaphor in literature enhances narrative and symbolism by adding layers of meaning and emotion to writings. In history, metaphor is a tool through which people perceive events and narratives, affecting historical discourse and collective memory. In archaeology, metaphor assists the interpretation of material culture and reconstructs the former cultures and their symbolic systems. Metaphors are essential in cultural communication because they shape cultural narratives, identity formation, and social understanding.

Abstract

Artikel ini menganalisis transformasi seni tari tradisional Indonesia dalam konteks modern melalui empat dimensi utama: perubahan bentuk penyajian, pergeseran fungsi, reinterpretasi nilai budaya, dan representasi digital. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif interpretatif dengan memanfaatkan studi literatur, analisis dokumen, serta observasi terhadap representasi tari di media digital. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa transformasi bentuk terjadi melalui pemadatan struktur gerak, modifikasi pola lantai, inovasi kostum, serta hibriditas musik yang memungkinkan tari tradisional tampil komunikatif di ruang pertunjukan kontemporer maupun digital. Fungsi tari mengalami ekspansi dari ranah ritual dan adat menuju hiburan, edukasi, pariwisata, industri kreatif, dan diplomasi budaya, tanpa menghilangkan fungsi asalnya. Selain itu, nilai budaya ditafsir ulang oleh generasi modern melalui narasi personal, sosial, dan global yang menjadikan tradisi relevan dengan pengalaman kekinian. Representasi digital melalui platform seperti YouTube dan TikTok menghadirkan estetika baru yang dipengaruhi logika algoritmik, namun sekaligus memperluas akses, revitalisasi, dan partisipasi publik. Temuan-temuan ini menegaskan bahwa transformasi tari tradisional tidak menandakan melemahnya tradisi, tetapi merupakan mekanisme adaptif yang memastikan keberlanjutan budaya. Artikel ini berkontribusi pada pemahaman multidimensional mengenai dinamika tradisi dalam ekosistem sosial dan teknologi modern.
