Abstract

Telah dilakukan penelitian penetapan kadar asam lemak linoleat dan linolenat pada kedelai secara kromatografi gas. Minyak kedelai diperoleh dengan mengekstraksinya dari kacang kedelai dengan metode Soxhlet menggunakan pelarut n-heksan, sementara penetapan kadar asam lemak dengan metode kromatografi gas. Hasil penelitian diperoleh kadar asam lemak linoleat dan linolenat pada kacang kedelai masing-masing 53,86% dan 7,15%. Asam lemak linoleat dan linolenat merupakan asam lemak tidak jenuh berantai banyak dan tergolong asam lemak esensial. Kata kunci : Asam linoleat, asam linolenat, kacang kedelai, kromatografi gas

Abstract

This research aims to find out the ability of activated charcoal rice hurks in the adsorbed metal cadmium in the solvent. The method which is used in this researes are carbonation and activation. The carbonation is doing by close system, the activation is doing by chemical. Activated charcoal produced is tested the absorption of cadmium metal in the solvent. The results showed that activated charcoal which is produced is able to absorb cadmium metal in the solvent that is equal to 19,03 %. The result of proximated analysis of activated charcoal are the water content, volatile matter content, ash content and carbon content are eachboon 13,09%, 15,82%, 53,83% and 30,35%.

Abstract

Telah dilakukan penelitian hubungan pengetahuan dan sikap suami tentang KB Pria di provinsi Gorontalo. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi hubungan pengetahuan dan sikap suami tentang kontrasepsi pria di Provinsi Gorontalo. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif analitik dengan besar sampel 120 orang dengan metode pengambilan sampel purposifl sampling. Instrumen dalam penelitian ini berupa kuesioner yag meliputi data demografi, kuesioner pengetahuan dan sikap. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan sebanyak 64,2% responden pria dengan umur ? 31 tahun, 78,3% responden dengan jumlah anak kurang dari atau sama dengan 3 orang. Pendidikan responden diperoleh sebanyak 54,2% dengan jenjang pendidikan lanjutan, dan sebanyak 73,3% pendapatan responden di atas Rp. 400000,-. Hasil penelitian juga menunjukkan bahwa sebanyak 74,2% suami memiliki pengetahuan tinggi, sebanyak 55% suami memiliki sikap positif terhadap kontrasepsi pria. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya hubungan yang signifikan antara pengetahuan dengan sikap suami terhadap kontrasepsi pria. Oleh karena itu, kepada petugas kesehatan setempat dapat meningkatkan pemberian informasi kepada para suami tentang kontrasepsi pria melalui penyuluhan-penyuluhan sehingga meningkatkan pengetahuan mereka.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to measure Linoleic Acid and Linolenic Acid Level in Tofu and Fermented Soybean Cake through Gas Chromatography-Mass Spectrometry. This is a laboratory research that use tofu and fermented soybean cake from Telaga traditional market as the sample of research. Sample was extracted by using n-hexane to produce oil. Then, oil was hydrolyzed by using KOH liquid and H2SO4 as a catalyst to get the free fatty acid. Then, it was converted to metil ester by using CH3OH as a solvent and H2SO4 as a catalyst for the necessity of fatty acid analysis. This research used Gas Chromatography-Mass Spectrometry to identify Linoleic Acid and Linolenic Acid Level in the sample. The analysis result shows that the biggest component of metil ester in tofu and soybean cake are dominated by metil linoleic (metil 9.12-octadekadienoat) with percentage 55.25% and 27.08% for each. Mean, the linolenic acid in tofu and fermented soybean cake cannot be detected by GC-MS. It is caused by the fermentation time, high temperature during production and fermentation, and humidity in the sample. Therefore, a further research is necessary to investigate level of linolenic acid. In tofu and fermented soybean cake.

Abstract

One of the restoration of contaminated environmental quality method is using phytoremediation techniques. That is recovery contaminated environment using plants. This research studied the ability of kangkung darat (Ipome reptans) to absorb metallic copper and to find out which part of the Kangkung Darat that absorb most of the metal Cu, also to know the difference between absorption and kangkung darat are harvested at 2, 4 and 6 weeks. The research activities are carried out by planting kangkung darat in a contaminated soil media and in the flush of copper metal with a solution of Cu mg / L two times a day. Samples of kangkung darat have been taken from accordance with plant age (2, 4 and 6 weeks), and plant parts (roots, stems and leaves). Used in Atomic Absorption Spectroscopy (AAS) Simatzu type AA to measure the content of Cu in the sample. Results obtained from this study that Cu accumulation in plants is mainly found in the roots. On the kangkung darat were 2 weeks of Cu contained as much as 5.3403 ppm in the roots, stems and leaves of 2.6637 5.1117. At the age of 4 weeks in a row at the root, stem leaves are 10.6998, 5.8281 and 2.0666 ppm. Mean, at the age of 6 weeks at the root of 10.4605, the leaves on the stem 7.7839 and 9.1863 ppm. From the research results can be concluded that kangkung darat could be used as fitoremediator Cu metal contaminated soil.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kemampuan tumbuhan dalam mengakumulasi merkuri dari limbah akibat kegiatan penambangan emas tradisional di Sungai Tulabolo Kecamatan Suwawa Kabupaten Bone Bolango. Mengkaji serapan merkuri dengan sistem fitoremediasi di ekosistem perairan sebagai strategi pengelolaan ekosistem aliran Sungai Tulabolo akibat penambangan emas tradisional untuk mengantisipasi terjadinya pencemaran lingkungan. Mengkaji kondisi ekosistem perairan ( tumbuhan, air dan sedimen) sebelum dan setelah dilakukannya adanya fitoremediasi. Penelitian ini berlokasi di penambangan emas tradisional yang berada di Kecamatan Suwawa Timur Kabupaten Bone Bolango yaitu pada Daerah Mohutango di bagian tengah Sub DAS Tulabolo. Pengambilan sampel air dan sedimen dilakukan di Sungai Mohutango dan lokasi pengolahan sekitar daerah Fitoremediasi. Analisis merkuri di air dan sedimen dilakukan di laboratorium Perikanan Provinsi Gorontalo. Analisis merkuri pada tumbuhan dilakukan di laboratorium Penelitian dan Pengujian Terpadu Universitas Gadjah Mada. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tumbuhan yang terdeteksi mengakumulasi merkuri terbesar di ekosistem Sungai Tulabolo berturut-turut adalah tumbuhan paku pakis, keladi tikus, colocasia esculenta red stem, rumput-rumputan (paspalum conyugatum) dan colocasia esculenta batang hijau. Tumbuhan colocasia esculenta (batang hijau) sangat toleran pada air limbah dan dapat menyerap merkuri dengan baik sehingga cocok digunakan sebagai media fitoremediasi di ekosistem Sungai Tulabolo. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa kondisi lingkungan setelah fitoremediasi menjadi lebih baik terutama pada sedimen dimana merkuri mengalami penurunan yang sangat baik. Hasil analisis uji beda T-Test dengan paired samples test menunjukkan terdapat perbedaan yang signifikant antara penyerapan merkuri oleh akar tumbuhan sebelum dan sesudah fitoremediasi.

Abstract

This research is aimed to know the amount of Cuprum (Cu) in the Bone Rivers delta by its sediment as the sample. This analysist uses the Atomic Absorption Spectrofotometry method. Sample of this research was taken from two places. They were the delta of Bone River and river stream area 50 meters from the delta. This was done to know the source of the Cuprum that comes into the delta. This research shown that the amount of Cuprum in Bone Rivers delta is 0,0449658 ppm than the amount of Cuprum in the river stream area which is 50 meters from the delta where the amount of Cuprum is 0,0445991 ppm. This amount is still in the limit of tolerance, base on the Letters of Decision of Minister of Cuprum in the maritime body is 0,06 ppm.

Abstract

This study aims to utilize corn cob charcoal made briketdengan using sago pereket used variation in the ratio between sago and charcoal are: 1:3, 1:4, 2:3, 2:5. charcoal briquettes are made of corn cobs proksimasi testing include: air.kadar ash content, volatile compounds decomposition levels, the levels of heat, carbon-bound, and test the density of briquettes. comparing the corn cob charcoal briquettes with briquette quality standards through test proksimasi. test results of corn cob charcoal briquettes proksimasi dalah as follows: the level of water in 1:3 variation was 6.66%.,, 1:4 is 7.30%., 2:3 is 8.66%., 2:5 is 7.50%., 1:3 variation in ash content was 3.28%., 1:4 is 3.11%., 2:3 and 2:5 were 3.50% is 3.40%., Dekomposi volatile compounds in variations of 1:3 is 44.58., 1:4 is 58.99%., 2:3 is 2:5 adalah51 62.02%, 30%. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kadar merkuri terlarut pada saluran pembuangan limbah dari poliklinik gigi rumah sakit Aloei Saboe Kota Gorontalo. Penetapan kadar merkuri dalam Sampel secara Direct Mercury Analyzer (DMA). Sampel yang dianalisis diambil pada tiga titik yaitu saluran poliklinik gigi (titik A), pada saluran umum/samping rumah sakit (titik B), dan jarak 100 meter dari titik B/samping SMA 1 Gorontalo (titik C). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kadar merkuri pada Sampel air limbah rumah sakit berturut-turut pada titik A (1995 ppb), titik B (7115 ppb), dan titik C (1306 ppb).
