Abstract

Berdasarkan hasil observasi yang telah peneliti lakukan, dapat dilihat bahwa mahasiswa dalam melaksanakan tugas individu, masih ada mahasiswa yang kurang kreatif dalam menyelesaikan masalah. Kurangnya penggunakan aplikasi dalam menyelesaikan persoalan yang diberikan oleh dosen misalnya pada mata kuiah statistik. Berdasarkan permasalahan tersebut peneliti tertarik Untuk megadakan penelitian tentang Pengaruh penggunaan aplikasi geogebra Terhadap ketrampilan berpikir kreatif.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Pengaruh penggunaan aplikasi geogebra Terhadap ketrampilan berpikir kreatif. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian quasi eksperimen dengan memberikan perlakuan dengan menerapkan pembelajaran dengan penggunaaan aplikasi geogebra terhadap kemampuan berpikir kreatif. Objek dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh mahasiswa semester 1 yang mengontrak mata kuliah statistik dasar. Subjek dalam penelitian ini mahasiswa semester 1A.Instrument yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah soal test kemampuan berpikir kreatif yang berbentuk essay. Peneliti melakukan pretest dan posttest. Uji hipotesis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah uji-t, namun sebelumnya dilakukan uji normalitas dan uji homogenitas variansi.Berdasarkan pretest dan posttes diperoleh nilai rata-rata ketrampilan berpikir kreatif mahasiswa masing-masing 70,14 dan 81,26. Nilai rata-rata postest lebih tinggi dibandingkan nilai rata-rata ketrampilan berpikir kreatif pretest mahasiswa. Selanjutnya berdasarkan analisis data yang menggunakan uji-t diperoleh nilai signifikansi (p-value) < atau dengan kata lain 0,000 < 0,05 artinya H1, terdapat Pengaruh Penggunaan Aplikasi Geogebra terhadap Ketrampilan Berpikir Kreatif.

Abstract

Kualitas pendidikan masyarakat memainkan peran penting dalam memberdayakan individu dan mendorong pembangunan masyarakat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi potensi untuk meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan masyarakat melalui program pelatihan dan bimbingan belajar. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan metode campuran, dengan menggabungkan survei dan wawancara untuk mengumpulkan data dari para pendidik, peserta didik, dan administrator program. Analisis kuantitatif mengkaji efektivitas program pelatihan dan bimbingan belajar yang ada, sementara analisis kualitatif menggali pengalaman dan perspektif peserta. Temuan-temuannya menyoroti dampak positif dari program pelatihan dan bimbingan belajar terhadap kualitas pendidikan masyarakat. Rekomendasi yang diberikan mencakup peningkatan program pelatihan, penguatan inisiatif bimbingan belajar, mendorong kolaborasi dan jaringan di antara para pendidik, advokasi sumber daya, serta membina kemitraan dan keterlibatan masyarakat. Implikasi-implikasi ini memberikan panduan praktis bagi para pemangku kepentingan yang terlibat dalam pendidikan masyarakat dan berkontribusi pada peningkatan praktik pendidikan masyarakat yang berkelanjutan.

Abstract

Student worksheets are printed worksheets that are frequently used in classrooms. The effectiveness of LKPD in online learning is lower. Similar improvements have been made in science and technology, as well as in the context of the process of learning to adapt to the COVID-19 pandemic. This necessitates creating LKPD that is more creative and can be presented in an electronic student worksheet (E-LKPD) format for use online. Electronic Student Worksheets are online learning resources that are methodically organized into specific instructional units and delivered in electronic format. By examining the appropriateness of the media, teacher reactions, and the efficacy of employing teaching materials, this research intends to offer electronic student worksheet products based on socio-scientific issues in learning materials to increase students' critical thinking. The ADDIE technique, which stands for analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation, is the development approach used. The findings of the study on the creation of the e-LKPD demonstrate the viability of e-LKPD media based on socio-scientific issues in instructional materials to enhance students' critical thinking, with 93 percent falling into the highly viability group. So that the e-LKPD that has been developed is declared suitable for use as a support for the learning process.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to increase public awareness and concern for the cleanliness and beauty of the environment around the community in Dusun IX, Desa Tandem Hilir II. The method used in this activity is the socialization method regarding the importance of cleanliness and the beauty of the surrounding environment and inviting the community to take part in the Mutual Cooperation and Greening activities that we are currently carrying out. Based on the results of the activity, it can be concluded that this activity can be said to be successful and the community around Dusun IX Desa Tandem Hilir II, is very enthusiastic in participating in the Mutual Cooperation and Greening activities which are hoped that later the community will care more about the cleanliness and beauty of the environment.

Abstract

The purpose of this service is to introduce live pharmacies to certain groups of people and to convey information about the benefits of living pharmacies in the yard of the house as a material to use to maintain body immunity during the Covid-19 pandemic. The method used in this community service is counseling in the form of providing education by explaining how important it is for us to plant live pharmacy plants and their benefits during the COVID-19 pandemic and then invite these residents to participate in the implementation of planting live pharmacies in the village. The selected target community is the Karang Gading Village Community, Kec. Kab. Stabat. Langkat. The results of this activity can make local residents better understand how to cultivate herbal plants and their uses.

Abstract

Mathematics has an instrumental function in enhancing the quality of Indonesian citizens. However, as science and technology progress and the digital age intensifies, it has become imperative to modify the mathematical learning paradigm to align it with the demands of the 21st century. The research objectives were to ascertain the following: The study sought to answer three research questions(1) the difference in the improvement of mathematical critical thinking ability of students who are given problem-based learning with students who are given direct learning; (2) the interaction of learning with initial mathematics ability on the improvement of students' mathematical critical thinking ability; (3) the difference in the improvement of learning independence of students who are given problem-based learning with students who are given direct learning. The findings of the study can be summarized as follows: (1) students who received problem-based learning exhibited a greater improvement in their mathematical critical thinking abilities than those who received direct learning; (2) there was no interaction between learning and initial mathematical ability on the improvement of mathematical critical thinking abilities; (3) students who received problem-based learning demonstrated a greater improvement in their learning independence than those who received direct learning.

Abstract

Kampus Mengajar Angkatan 6 merupakan salah satu program dari Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) yang bertujuan untuk membantu meningkatkan kemampuan literasi dan numerasi siswa di sekolah-sekolah di daerah yang membutuhkan bantuan dalam hal literasi dan numerasi. Pada pelaksanaannya mahasiswa berperan membantu kegiatan pembelajaran di sekolah dengan mengimplementasikan program kerja yang kreatif, inovatif serta efektif dalam meningkatkan literasi numerasi siswa. Metode yang digunakan yaitu melalui pendekatakan yang interaktif dan partisipatif dalam proses pembelajaran. Penugasan mahasiswa Kampus Mengajar Angkatan 6 dilaksanakan di SDN 101970 Sei Karang, Kecamatan Galang, Kabupaten Deli Serdang, Provinsi Sumatera Utara. Penugasan dimulai dari tanggal 14 Agustus 2023 - 1 Desember 2023. Hasil akhir dari implementasi program kerja mahasiswa Kampus Mengajar selama kurang lebih empat bulan masa penugasan secara signifikan mampu meningkatkan kemampuan literasi numerasi siswa, dapat dilihat dari perkembangan kemampuan, minat, serta motivasi belajar dari setiap individu siswa. Proses pembelajaran yang menyenangkan melalui permainan dan media pembelajaran yang menarik sangat membantu dalam meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa serta kemampuan literasi dan numerasi siswa di sekolah. Program Kampus Mengajar ini memberikan kesempatan kepada mahasiswa untuk berkontribusi langsung dalam dunia pendidikan, dan siswa serta sekolah sasaran mendapatkan manfaat dari proses pembelajaran yang kreatif, inovatif, serta efektif dalam peningkatan kemampuan literasi dan numerasi siswa.

Abstract

Background. Audio-visual media is media that contains elements of sound and images. It is useful for conveying information, knowledge, ideas, ideas in a more interesting way. The proper use of audiovisual media in accordance with the needs in education will be able to improve learning achievement. Audio visual media will help students in developing logical, critical, and creative thinking skills in solving problems. The use of audiovisual media in learning mathematics can improve student achievement in elementary school. This can be achieved as long as the use is effective and efficient. Purpose. This study aims to measure the effectiveness of using audio-visual media in improving student achievement in mathematics learning in elementary schools. This research will also be useful to find out the factors that influence the success of using audio-visual media. In addition, it is also to find out how far audiovisual media can help students in understanding mathematical concepts, increase learning motivation, and develop logical, critical, and creative thinking skills. Method. The method used in this research is quantitative. Quantitative method is a way of presenting data in the form of numbers. The data obtained is the result of the acquisition of responses. The data is taken from the distribution of questionnaires containing questions related to the effectiveness of the use of audio-visual media in improving student achievement in mathematics learning at the elementary school level. Results. The results of this study state that the use of audio visual in math learning in elementary schools can improve student achievement. The use of audiovisual media has a positive effectiveness in learning mathematics in elementary schools. The use of audiovisual media can improve student learning outcomes, concept understanding, ability to analyze, and interest in learning. However, the use of this media must also pay attention to certain factors in order to be effective. Conclusion This research can be concluded that audio visual media as a learning medium that contains elements of sound and images will be able to be used to convey information, knowledge, ideas, or ideas more interestingly. The use of audio-visual media in learning mathematics will help in improving students' concept understanding, interest, and learning outcomes.

Abstract

Menjaga kelestarian lingkungan merupakan salah satu kegiatan penting yang harus dilakukan secara konseptual dalam menghadapi krisis lingkungan. Program pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tujuan dan manfaat dari dilaksanakannya kegiatan bersih lingkungan dan gotong royong, mengetahui metode pelaksanaan yang dilakukan dalam kegiatan gotong royong, mengetahui hasil kegiatan bersih lingkungan dan gotong royong di Desa Padang Cermin. Pengabdian masyarakat ini menggunakan metode sosialisasi kepada masyarakat dengan melakukan kegiatan gotong royong. Subyek pelayanan adalah masyarakat desa. Pelaksanaan kegiatan dilakukan dengan merencanakan kegiatan, sosialisasi dan pelaksanaan kegiatan inti. Pelaksanaan kegiatana inti berupa gotong royong bersama warga membersihkan lingkungan area rumah dari sampah, rumput liar, selokan, melakukan penghijauan dan bedah rumah. Kegiatan gotong royong dilaksanakan tim pengabdian STKIP Budidaya Binjai dibantu mahasiswa dan warga desa Padang Cermin. Program pengabdian masyarakat yang dilaksanakan selama satu bulan ini memberikan hasil yang positif yaitu meningkatnya kesadaran dan kepedulian masyarakat terhadap kebersihan lingkungan dan penghijauan, sehingga tercipta lingkungan yang sehat, nyaman, asri dan sejuk.

Abstract

This research investigates the implementation of gamification-based learning in mathematics education at the elementary school level, aiming to enhance student engagement, academic performance, and teacher perceptions. Utilizing a mixed-methods approach, the study involved quantitative data from standardized assessments and surveys, alongside qualitative insights from interviews and classroom observations. Results indicated a significant increase in student engagement, with 85% of participants reporting heightened interest in mathematics following the introduction of gamified activities. Academic performance improved, with an average increase of 15% in mathematics scores, corroborating findings from prior research that links gamification to enhanced learning outcomes. Teachers reported positive perceptions of gamification, noting increased student motivation and improved classroom dynamics, although challenges related to task complexity and time investment for implementation were also identified. This research contributes to the growing body of literature on gamification in education, highlighting its potential to create dynamic and interactive learning environments while emphasizing the need for adequate support and professional development for educators. The findings suggest that when implemented thoughtfully, gamification can significantly transform mathematics teaching, fostering critical thinking and collaboration, and ultimately inspiring a lifelong appreciation for the subject among elementary students.
