Abstract

Budaya mutu pada sekolah menjadi faktor penting dalam pendidikan untuk membentuk siswa menjadi manusia yang berkarakter, berakhlak mulia, berani, jujur, bertanggungjawab, optimis, terampil, berperilaku kooperatif, ulet, disiplin, dan berintegritas. Pendidikan berbasis kearifan lokal merupakan realisasi dari Peraturan Pemerintah (PP) No.19 tahun 2005 tentang Standar Nasional Pendidikan pasal 17 ayat 1 yang berisi bahwa “kurikulum tingkat satuan pendidikan dari SD sampai SMA atau yang sederajat dikembangkan dengan satuan pendidikan, peserta didik, sosial budaya dan potensi daerah masing-masing”. Salah satu usaha yang dapat dilakukan adalah dengan peningkatan mutu dengan mengembangkan Keterempilan guru mengelola kelas berorientasi kearifan lokal. Dengan orientasi kearifan lokal yang dimiliki oleh Sekolah di Indonesia tentu alangkah baiknya jika hal ini menjadi ciri khas yang harus dikembangkan. Keterampilan guru dalam mengembangkan bahan ajar sangat menentukan pemahaman siswa dalam belajar, dengan menggunakan berbagai macam media pembelajaran baik vidio, poster, dan simbol-simbol budaya akan membantu siswa mengembangkan potensinya, baik dalam belajar maupun bekarya. Urgensi dalam pengabdian ini adalah kegiatan pendampingan ini dilakukan untuk membantu sekolah dalam meningkatkan mutu secara sistematis dan berkelanjutan berorientasi kearifan lokal. Tujuan dari pengabdian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan mutu pelayanan sekolah dasar swasta islamiyah melalui peningkatan keterampilan guru mengelola kelas berorientasi kearifan lokal yang salah satunya dengan mengadakan kegiatan pendampingan penyelenggaraan kegiatan eksplorasi budaya dengan teknologi. Dengan terlaksananya pengabdian ini dengan kegiatan workshop, pelatihan, pendampingan, dan evaluasi, diharapkan kegiatan ini dapat meningkatkan mutu pendidikan khususnya keterampilan guru-guru Sekolah Dasar Swasta Islamiyah berorientasi kearifan lokal dalam mata pelajaran yang disampaikan.

Abstract

One of the important abilities in adolescent development is resilience because the social, biological, and psychological changes experienced by adolescents require them to be adaptive in dealing with problems. In this condition, they need self-compassion to accept all the external challenges related to problems with family, school, and an uncertain future. This study aims to determine the effect of Self Compassion on Adolescent Resilience. This research was conducted at SMA Negeri 3 Binjai. This research method uses non-test techniques in the form of a questionnaire (questionnaire). The sample of this study amounted to 86 XII students. The sampling technique was done randomly. This study used simple regression analysis to see how much influence SELF COMPASSION HAS ON YOUTH RESILIENCE IN STUDENTS AT SMA NEGERI 3 BINJAI. The results showed that self-compassion influenced adolescent resilience in SMA Negeri 3 Binjai students. This is indicated by tcount> table (33.205> 1.667) and p = 0.000. Furthermore, based on the results of the variable influence test, the R Square value is 0.929 (92.9%). This shows that self-compassion has an influence on resilience by 92.9%. Meanwhile, 7.1% is influenced by other factors.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of the Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) approach in geometry learning in secondary schools. Realistic Mathematics Education, which emphasizes mathematics learning through relevant contexts and students' real experiences, aims to improve students' understanding and skills in geometry. This study evaluates the effectiveness of the implementation of RME and identifies various challenges and potential solutions in its implementation. The method used is a literature review that includes studies related to the implementation of RME in geometry learning. The results of the analysis show that RME can improve students' understanding of geometric concepts by linking materials to everyday situations, thereby motivating and involving students more actively in the learning process. This approach helps students link theory to real practice, deepen their understanding, and develop problem-solving skills. There are challenges such as teacher readiness, limited resources, and limited time allocation, recommendations to improve teacher training, develop supportive policies, and provide adequate resources can help overcome these problems. With the right strategy and adequate support, RME has great potential to improve the quality of geometry learning in secondary schools and have a positive impact on student learning outcomes

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the jigsaw learning model based on hybrid learning on students' critical thinking skills. This type of research is quantitative research with a meta-analysis approach. Data sources come from analyzing national and international journals. Inclusion criteria are research must come from Scopus and SINTA-indexed journals or proceedings; Data source searches come from Google Scholar, ERIC, IEEE, and Wiley; Research must have experimental and control classes; Research must be published from 2017-2023; Research has a relationship with research variables and research has a value (t), (r) and (f). Data analysis is quantitative statistical analysis with the help of the JSAP application. The results of this study concluded that the average value of the summary effect size or mean effect size of the entire study (ES = 0.896; p < 0.001) with very high criteria. This finding explains that the jigsaw learning model based on hybridized learning has a great influence on students' critical thinking skills.
