Abstract

In recent years, public awareness and concern of green products has begun to increase. People are starting to pay attention to the ingredients in all the products they use. This condition triggers companies to create beauty products that are environmentally friendly and safe to use. This study aims to determine and explain the effect of environmental knowledge, environmental concern, green brand image on green purchase intention with perceived product price & quality as a moderating variable. The type of this research is explanatory research with a quantitative approach. The sample used was 100 visitors of The Face Shop Mall Ciputra Semarang. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling and accidental sampling. Data collection methods used were physical questionnaire and online questionnaire. Data processing using SmartPLS 3.2.8. The results of this study indicate that green brand image and the perceived product price & quality significantly influence the green purchase intention. While environmental knowledge and environmental concern do not significantly influence green purchase intention. The moderation type of perceived product price & quality on environmental knowledge is quasi moderator. Whereas the moderating type of variable perceived product price & quality towards environmental concern variables and green brand image is antecendents.

Abstract

The decision to use services is an integration process that combines knowledge to evaluate two or more alternative behaviors and choose one of them. The decision-making process is a problem-solving approach where the process consists of five stages: analyzing needs and desires, seeking information, assessment and selection of alternative usage, use decisions and behavior after usage.This type of research is explanatory research design to data collection tool is questionnaire. This study used 100 respondents, consumer Stove Syndicate Cafe Semarang which has been a purchase more than five times . The sampling technique of this research is non probability sampling with accidental sampling approach. Test equipment instruments used are validity and reliability testing. Analysis of the data used is the correlation coefficient, determination coefficient, simple linear regression, t test, multiple linear regression, and F test.The results of this study show that under all partially independent variables, location variables (X1) affect the decision of the use of laundry service (Y) of 21.6%, price (X2) affect the decision of the use of laundry service (Y) of 4.3 %, and promotion (X3) affect the decision of use of laundry service (Y) equal to 51,1%. Simultaneously, location, price and promotion of contributing influence on the decision of the use of laundry service by 37,8%.Based on the result of this research, researcher suggest that Simply Fresh Laundry improve service quality, service addition, quality of service result which acceptable to consumer. This is done so Simply Fresh Laundry becomes a priority in choosing laundry services. Out to location, price, and promotion factors, there are still other factors that can influence service decision making.

Abstract

                     This research was motivated by the phenomenon of the development of services that controls 72 per cent and 67 per cent of gross domestic product ( GDP ) in developed countries around the world ( Christopher Lovelock , 2007: 7 ) . One of the services needed by society today is insurance . This is why the competition between insurance companies is very sharp which is characterized by the emergence of new insurance companies , so the competition will be intense . Life Insurance is one of the set of branches of AJB Bumiputera 1912 that provides insurance services to a group or collection and also always give the best to the policyholders . Bumiputera prove that the policyholder satisfaction on the product by obtaining Indonesian Customer Satisfaction Award ( ICSA ) , Top Brand Award , and gaining recognition as a leading insurance company in Indonesia for 10 consecutive years from 2003 until 2013 ( Company Profile AJB Bumiputera 1912 ) , but the achievement of policy from 2010 to 2013 never reached the target .                    The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of quality of service , reputation and price premiums to the policyholder 's decision in choosing the group life insurance products ( askum ) AJB Bumiputera 1912 Semarang . This type of research is explanatory research , with data collection through questionnaires and interviews . Sampling technique using purposive sampling technique . The sample in this study amounted to 76 respondents who are policyholders AJB Bumiputera 1912 Askum branch office in Semarang . This study used quantitative analysis techniques . Quantitative analysis using validity , reliability test , correlation coefficient , simple and multiple regression analysis , the coefficient of determination , tests of significance ( t test and F test ) with rock SPSS for windows version 20.0 .The results of this study indicate that the quality of service ( X1 ) , reputation ( X2 ) and the price premium ( X3 ) partially and simultaneously influence the purchase decision ( Y ) .                    Based on the research results , the researchers suggested that the company further improve the quality of care in the form of making the system claims handling standards , maintaining product quality and post various Bumiputera achievement on the internet in order to raise the reputation of the company as well as providing a policy to lower the insurance money so that premium rates can be quite low but still with good service and benefits are balanced so as to increase group life insurance purchasing decision AJB Bumiputera 1912 Semarang.

Abstract

Outdoor advertising media or commonly called billboards is one that widely used in the media to promote a product or service updates. In the process of selecting the location of the billboard there are several factors that affect, the internal factors relating to advertising agencies and external factors that have a connection with consumers and the local government. Based on the existing problems are suspected factors influence internal and external factors on site selection and installation of billboards in Jakarta.Type of this research is exploratory, the data collection method is study of literature, observation, and in-depth interviews with qualitative data analysis techniques. The results showed that internal factors are derived from advertising agencies do not have a significant influence on the selection of the location of the installation of billboards. However, external factors relating to consumers and the local government have a significant influence on the process of selecting the location of installation of billboards in Jakarta. Recommended for advertising agencies as the organizers of advertisement should be more sensitive to the changes that occur, because advertising activities fluctuated, advertising agencies should also increase the professionalism of the performance so that advertising agencies do not apply be stakeholders, but also a partner for the local government and the public, advertising agencies are should not only thought of profitable by always displaying commercial advertisements. However, it should undertake the installation of non-commercial billboard advertising as a form of social responsibility provided by advertising agencies to the people of Jakarta.

Abstract

This research is motivated by competition between batik industries increasingly stringent. Kampung Laweyan Solo is one of small and medium sized enterprises that compete with others. Not only compete with domestic batik industries but also compete with international batik industries. To compete with others, batik industries should create superiority in their products. So that, SMEs in Kampung Laweyan Solo should have a competitive advantage to compete with others. Innovation can be used as one of the strategies to achieve competitive advantage. Therefore, product innovation must be improved to achieve competitive advantage by way of market oriented and entrepreneurial oriented.Type of research is explanatory research, whose aim is to examine the causal relationship between competitive advantage, market orientation, entrepreneurial orientation and product innovation. The population of about 124 owners of batik industries in Kampung Batik Laweyan, Solo. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling so that the number of sample are 50 people. The analysis technique used was quantitative analysis with SPSS (Statistical Package For Social Science) as a tool. The results showed that the effect of partially or simultaneously between market orientation, entrepreneurial orientation and product innovation  on competitive advantage. Based on the results of path analysis (path) shows that product innovation is the intervening variable.

Abstract

Eco-Efficiency is an efficiency concept that incorporates aspects of natural resources and energy or a production that minimizes the use of raw materials, water, energy and environmental impacts per unit of product. This study itself aims to determine the application of eco-efficiency in small and medium enterprises (UKM) batik tulis bakaran, precisely on Tjokro batik tulis. The type of research used is case study, model analysis using descriptive analysis with qualitative approach. Data collection using oral interviews, observation (observation), eco-efficiency measurement, and literature study. Based on the analysis once per production that is 30 pieces per day can be obtained, the total cost of NPO is Rp 519.579,64 per day or per 30 pieces of batik cloth. According to the data, there are 20 SME Batik Bakaran with total production volume of 3,821 sheets, resulting in NPO cost of Rp 66.177.121,72  per month. Suggestions for SMEs Batik Tulis Tjokro in terms of eco-efficiency is the use of raw materials in the production process should pass precise and thorough measurements, it is done so that not a lot of raw materials are wasted, and produce the cost of NPO (Non Product Output) the minimum.

Abstract

Corporate image will be the encouragement of someone before buying something. Especially in the field of services, service quality will be the consideration of a person before deciding. PT. Pos Indonesia pays attention to both these aspects in order to win the competition in the parcel business. The purpose of this research is to know the influence of the corporate image and service quality of usage decision of the parcel delivery service PT. Pos Indonesia. The method of this research is explanatory with data collection techniques through questionnaires and interviews .Accidental sampling techniques used with a sample of 100 people .Analysis of the technique used is quantitative by using a test of validity, reliability, the correlation coefficient, the coefficients determined, simple and multiple regression analysis, cross tabulation, and the significance test (t test and F test). The results showed that variable corporate image having the contribution of influence against variable usage decision at 21,8 percent. Variable service quality having the contribution of influence against variable usage decision at 21,5 percent. Variable corporate image and service quality having the contribution of influence jointly on variable usage decision at 23,1 percent. The suggestions that can be given in this research are the company expected improving their service standards with capable to serve customers well and prioritize customers needs, the speed of employees in providing service, and employee awareness to customers.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the rapid development of automotive industry in Indonesia which makes the level of competition becomes tight. So the car manufacturers continue to make some innovation for their products. This can be seen from the rich variety of brands and types of cars in Indonesia. At present, cars that are in demand is hatchback car segment, because it offers the practicality of moving in the middle of heavy traffic and fuel consumption is quite economical. There are various variants of car hatchback segment in Indonesia. In particular, this study discusses the All-New Honda Jazz hatchback car that become a leader in Indonesia which had sales declined. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of customer value and brand trust on purchase decisions All New Honda Jazz car in Pekalongan. This type of research is explanatory, with the techniques of data collection through questionnaires. The sampling technique used accidental sampling technique. The sample totaled 84 people who are users of the All New Honda Jazz car in Pekalongan. This research is use quantitative analysis technique (validity test, reliability test, correlation coefficient, simple and multiple regeression analysis, the coefficient of determination, and a significant test (t and F). Then the data is processed by using SPSS (Statistical Package for Social of Science) 16 for Windows. In quantitative analysis resulted in the following regression equation: Y =8,245 + 0,196X1 + 0,280X2. The results of this study are: (1) It is known that the independent variable customer value (X1) has a positive and significant impact on the dependent variable purchase decision (Y). (2) It is known that the independent variables brand trust (X2) has a positive and significant impact on the dependent variable purchase decision. (3) It is known that the independent variable customer value (X1) and brand trust (X2) at the same time (simultaneous) positive and significant impact on purchasing decisions (Y).

Abstract

The success of a company is usually influenced by the performance of the employee or the work accomplished by an employee in performing duties in accordance with the responsibilities. From the result of performance PDAM Grobogan in recent 5 years, still need to be improved even of the operational aspect there was a decrease. Many factor which could be the cause the decline in performance among others organizational culture, motivation, and salary. The purposes of this study to determine whether there is influence between organizational culture, motivation and salaries to employees performances in Grobogan. This type of research used is explanatory research. The number of samples in this study was 50 respondents drawn by accidental sampling. Multiple regression analysis is Y = 8.551 + 0.193 X1 + 0.344 X2 + 0.066 X3 so it can be seen that the variable organizational culture, motivation and salary is jointly positive effect on variable performance , and which has the greatest influence motivation is variable . Hypothesis test shows that the variable organizational culture, motivation and affect the performance of the employee salary. This is demonstrated by the achievement of all the variable t is greater than t table is 1.677. Organizational culture variables have t 8.682, 7.395 motivation, and variable salary 6,100. As for the F test obtained F count of 28.270. And all of these variables were tested at a significance level of 5 %. Thus the hypothesis is accepted.The advice given to the company is prioritizes honesty in work and reject any form of tip from customer.

Abstract

In the city of Semarang, there are two great and long herbal  company. The successed of the two companies to survived until now because of supported by profesional employees,  in the creation of professional employee must be supported with a comfortable working environment, this research aimed to compare the better and comfortable working environment  feel of employees between njonja Meneer and Jamu Jago and see the effect of the environment work on the performance of each company. To know the problems of the working environment on the object of the study, the researchers took the observations. the type of research is exploratory with comparative studies. The sample of this research are 46 respondents in each companie, using non-probability sampling technique with purposive sampling approach. The method used the quantitative analysis, consists of the average analysis, independent sample t test, multiple linear regression analysis with SPSS for windows version 20.0. This research concluded that the differences in work environment are the physical and non-physical between Njonja Meneer and Jamu Jago and the positive influence of physical work environment and non-physical in Njonja Meneer and Jamu Jago
