Abstract

This research aims to explore the ethnopedagogical values contained in Wangkal Temple, Sidoarjo, and their relevance as a source of education based on local wisdom. Using qualitative descriptive methods, this research identifies and analyzes various academic sources related to ethnopedagogy and the Indonesian cultural context. The results of the analysis show that Wangkal Temple contains important values such as spirituality, togetherness, perseverance, and the use of natural resources, which have strong relevance in the character of education. Learning that focuses on local wisdom can help students develop a strong cultural identity, increase environmental awareness, and foster the values of cooperation and perseverance. This research recommends the integration of ethnopedagogical values into the education curriculum in Indonesia, so that future generations can appreciate and preserve the richness of local culture while being able to compete in a global context.

Abstract

This study will ascertain how social media marketing, brand image, and service quality influence guests' decisions to stay at the Aryaduta Suite Semanggi Hotel in Jakarta.  This research is a quantitative research by distributing questionnaires to hotel guests. The research sample is guests staying at the Aryaduta Suite Semanggi Hotel, Jakarta. The sampling technique uses a non-probability sampling technique, namely the accident sampling technique. The final sample of the study was 171 guests.  Multiple linear regression was used for data analysis, and SPSS version 26 software was used for data processing. The study's findings will demonstrate that, both partially and simultaneously, social media marketing, brand image, and service quality significantly influence visitors' decisions to stay in Hotel Aryaduta Suite Semanggi.

Abstract

Milkfish is a superior commodity in several districts in Indonesia, namely Sidoarjo, Semarang, and Banten. This fish is also a favorite of Indonesians because it is nutritious and affordable. Therefore, for milkfish processed product business people, the freshness of milkfish is an important parameter because the freshness of the fish affects the quality of the processed products. Manual fish sorting is a problem when the number of fish is vast because it is prone to errors due to fatigue. In addition, manual fish sorting is also wasteful and time-consuming. Therefore, a non-contact automatic system is needed to identify fish freshness based on digital images. This study uses the Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) model to develop an application for milkfish freshness identification. We applied the MobileNetV2 model to identify the freshness of milkfish into three freshness classes, namely very fresh, fresh, and not fresh. The application uses the MobileNetV2 model on 312 milkfish images. The freshness classification performance reached 95%, 70%, and 80% in the high-fresh, fresh, and not-fresh classes, respectively. The global accuracy of the system reached 81.6%, indicating that the application can work well. From the experiments and analysis conducted, it can be concluded that the system has good capabilities in identifying fish freshness.

Abstract

Pipe welding is widely used in industries with piping systems, including the oil, construction, and manufacturing industries. Several parameters, including the width of the weld bead, can determine the quality of good welding results. In this research, pipe welding was carried out automatically in the 5G position using GTAW (Gas Tungsten Arc Welding) without metal filler (Autogenous). Welding tests were carried out to determine the effect of weaving speed on the uniformity of weld bead width from 0° to 360° and the weld bead width of 316L Stainless Steel pipes with an inner diameter of 4 inches and a thickness of 4 mm using a zigzag (weaving) welding pattern. The welding method uses the Pulse Current Gas Arc Welding (PC-GTAW) method with a current of 137 A and a background current of 10 PPS (Pulse Per Current). Test samples were taken at 4 (four) welding points, namely 0°, 90°, 180° and 270° with a torch height of 2 mm to the test object. The test was carried out with 3 (three) variations of weaving speed, namely 0.150 mm/s, 0.155 mm/s, and 0.161 mm/s. The welding tool used is a prototype orbital pipe welding tool using the 5G method, which is then carried out by forming a test object. Weld bead width was measured using a digital microscope model Dino-Lite AM 4515ZT and DinoCapture 3.0 software. The bead width measurements show that the most consistent weld bead width uniformity occurs at a weaving speed of 0.155 mm/s. Meanwhile, the average weld bead width at a weaving speed of 0.150 is 10.26 mm; at a weaving speed of 0.155 mm/s, it is 10.44 mm; and at a weaving speed of 0.161 mm/s, the average weld bead width is 9.8 mm.

Abstract

This study aims to improve the critical thinking skills of Phase A students of SDN Mojoruntut 3 Krembung District, Sidoarjo Regency through the application of the Computational Thinking approach using BAWASING (Balok Warna-Warni Gampang Asik). The research subjects were Phase A students of SDN Mojoruntut 3 with a total of 15 students and the object of research was students' critical thinking skills. The research method used This research is a descriptive qualitative research with a survey method on Phase A students at SDN Mojoruntut 3 Kec.Krembung Kab.Sidoarjo with a total of 15 students. observation. The data or information collected in this study is in the form of qualitative data. The type of data used by researchers is the level of Computational Thinking of Phase A students using BAWAGASING (Easy Asik Color Blocks). The results showed that of the 15 students tested, it was stated that 7 students were in the very good category, 5 students were in the good category, there were 3 students in the sufficient category. In the application of BAWAGASING (Colorful Blocks Easy Asik) no students were found in the low and very low categories which means 0 students. The limitations in this study are that students are only tested in one material, namely the shape and color of the building space, researchers only conduct at a limited level and do not use the effectiveness test. For other researchers, it is expected to conduct tests with colorful blocks that cover a wider range of material, for example, on the formulas of space buildings and can be tested at a wider level by comparing various kinds of phase A students in many schools and conducting effectiveness tests using research software such as SPSS and so on.

Abstract

Quantum Key Distribution is a cornerstone of secure communication, utilizing quantum mechanics to achieve unparalleled security. This study evaluates the performance of the B92 protocol, a simplified scheme using non-orthogonal states, through simulation with Python3 and the Qiskit library. The research focuses on the variability of key lengths and the ability of the protocol to detect eavesdropping attempts. Results show an average key length of 14.3 bits per 100 transmitted qubits, with variability ranging from 3 to 29 bits. Detection accuracy improves significantly with sample size, achieving 95% accuracy with a sample size of 5 and 100% with a sample size of 10. These findings highlight the trade-off between key length and detection reliability, emphasizing the importance of optimization. While simulations confirm the protocol’s robustness, further studies under real-world conditions are essential. This work advances the understanding of quantum cryptographic systems and lays the foundation for secure quantum communication.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi dampak penerapan project based learnng pada motivasi belajar peserta didik dalam pembelajaran pendidikan agama Buddha. Metode kuantitatif diterapkan pada studi ini dengan menerapkan pendekatan korelasional. Studi ini dilaksanakan di SMP Karya Dharma Bhakti Palembang pada Agustus 2023 hingga Januari 2024. Peserta didik SMP kelas VIII A dan VIII B sebanyak 45 orang merupakan subjek studi ini. Instrumen studi yang digunakan yaitu berupa berupa angket yang telah melalui uji validitas dan uji reliabilitas. Data dianalisis dengan metode analisis regresi linier sederhana. Temuan studi mengindikasikan nilai korelasi sebesar 0,745 antara variabel project based learning dan motivasi belajar peserta didik yang mengindikasikan adanya hubungan yang kuat di antara keduanya. Selain itu, temuan uji regresi memperlihatkan nilai r-hitung sebanyak 7,331 dengan signifikansi (Sig.) 0.000 ≤ 0.05, sehingga (Ho) ditolak. Kesimpulan studi menjelaskan pembelajaran project based learning berpengaruh signifikan terhadap motivasi belajar peserta didik di SMP Karya Dharma Bhakti Palembang.

Abstract

Facilities and infrastructure equipment at SMKN 11 Jakarta is currently recorded in books and recapitulated into Microsoft Excel. It has problems controlling the inventory data of school facilities and infrastructure in detail. Sometimes items recorded in the admin do not match the number of items in the warehouse, resulting in the slow preparation of inventory reports on facilities and infrastructure at the school. This research aims to design an inventory system for facilities and infrastructure at SMKN 11 Jakarta. This research uses a qualitative method using a field research approach and library research in the data collection method. The result is a prototype of the facilities and infrastructure inventory system application at SMKN 11 that passed the testing, and there are no errors and can run well according to the needs.Sistem persediaan peralatan sarana dan prasarana pada sekolah SMKN 11 Jakarta pada saat ini masih dicatat dalam buku dan direkap kembali ke dalam Microsoft Excel. Sehingga memiliki kendala untuk mengontrol data inventarisasi sarana dan prasarana sekolah secara detail. Terkadang jumlah barang yang tercatat di admin tidak sesuai dengan jumlah barang yang ada di gudang, mengakibatkan lambatnya pembuatan laporan inventarisasi sarana dan prasarana di sekolah tersebut. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk merancang sistem inventarisasi sarana dan prasarana yang ada pada sekolah SMKN 11 Jakarta.  Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan menggunakan pendekatan penelitian lapangan (Field Research) dan penelitian kepustakaan (Library Research) dalam metode pengumpulan datanya. Hasilnya berupa purwarupa aplikasi sistem inventarisasi sarana dan prasarana di SMKN 11 yang setelah diuji tidak terdapat kesalahan dan dapat berjalan dengan baik sesuai dengan kebutuhan.

Abstract

Pengembangan softskills dan hardskills merupakan langkah penting dalam membekali anak-anak panti asuhan untuk menghadapi tantangan kehidupan di masa depan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi kebutuhan, merancang, dan mengevaluasi program peningkatan softskills dan hardskills di Panti Asuhan Nurul Haq, Yogyakarta. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa program ini berhasil meningkatkan kepercayaan diri, kemampuan berkomunikasi, dan kerja sama tim sebagai bagian dari softskills. Di sisi lain, peningkatan keterampilan teknis seperti penguasaan teknologi dasar dan keterampilan praktis juga tercapai. Selain memberikan manfaat langsung kepada anak-anak panti, program ini membuka peluang untuk pengembangan model pembinaan serupa di panti asuhan lainnya. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa pengembangan softskills dan hardskills secara terintegrasi dapat memberikan dampak positif yang signifikan, baik dalam aspek sosial maupun ekonomi anak-anak panti. Diharapkan, program ini dapat menjadi langkah awal untuk menciptakan generasi muda yang lebih mandiri, kompetitif, dan mampu berkontribusi dalam masyarakat.
