Abstract

Coastal societies are defined as the unity of collective social people living in coastal areas. Coastal societies are still very thick with their culture. As time goes by, the times are growing so that lead to the development of new cultures, including the new culture in coastal societies. The attitudes of the coastal societies towards the new culture are to accept the new culture, but the coastal societies also reject new cultures that are deemed incompatible with the culture that already exist in coastal societies. The social skills of coastal societies towards a new culture are to keep upholding existing cultural values. So that, even though a new culture develops in coastal societies, coastal communities still keep upholding existing cultural values inherited from generation to generation. Ayah District is one of the districts in Kebumen Regency. Ayah District is one of the districts whose southernmost border is the Indian Ocean. So that, some of the people in Ayah District are coastal societies. Ayah culture is very diverse, ranging from language, knowledge systems, social organizations, living equipment systems and technology, living systems, religious systems and arts are still very thick with old culture. As time goes by, the times are growing so that lead to the development of new cultures, including the new culture of coastal societies in Ayah District. The purpose of this study was to find out how the attitudes and social skills of coastal societies in the Ayah District towards the existence of a new culture that is increasingly developing. The research method applied in this study is a qualitative method. The source of data in this study is the coastal society of the Ayah District considered and trusted to know the problem to be studied. Informants in this research are Village Heads, Community Leaders and Fishermen. Data collection techniques applied by using observation, interviews, and documentation studies. Data analysis applied was interactive model analysis.

Abstract

An effective learning can not be separated with a qualified learning process. It needs plan, implementation, and evaluation from a teacher to achieve the qualified learning process. One of the teacher’s tasks before conducting a certain learning is choosing an appropriate learning method to encourage the students in order to achieve a good learning output. The appropriate learning method to encourage the students’ learning output is show and tell method. The objectives of this research are: (1) to explain the learning output of social science’s students with the use of show and tell learning method, (2) to explain the learning output of social science’s students with the use of leaturing method, and (3) to analyse the significant differences between the learning output with the use of show and tell learning method and leaturing method. The method of this research is quasi experimental method. Tests and documentations are used to collect the data. T-test in SPSS program series 16.0 for windows is used to analyse the data. From the research, it can be concluded that social science’s learning using show and tell learning method is more effective than using leaturing method. It is shown in the average score of students’ learning output which followed sosial science’s learning using show and tell learning method is 7,25, higher than the average score of students’ learning output which followed leaturing method which is 6,31. Pembelajaran yang efektif tidak terlepas dari proses pembelajaran yang berkualitas. Untuk mencapai pembelajaran yang berkualitas diperlukan perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi dari seorang guru. Salah satu peran guru sebelum melaksanakan pembelajaran adalah memilih model pembelajaran yang tepat untuk mendorong siswa agar hasil belajar baik. Model pembelajaran yang tepat untuk memacu hasil belajar siswa adalah model pembelajaran show and tell. Tujuan peneltian adalah: (1) menjelaskan hasil belajar IPS peserta didik dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran show and tell, (2) menjelaskan hasil belajar IPS peserta didik yang menggunakan ceramah, dan (3) menganalisis perbedaan yang signifikan antara hasil belajar IPS peserta didik yang menggunakan model pembelajaran show and tell dan yang menggunakan ceramah. Metode penelitian adalah eksperimen semu (quasi eksperiment). Pengumpulan data menggunakan tes dan dokumentasi. Analisis data menggunakan uji-T pada program SPSS seri 16.0 for windows. Hasil penelitian diperoleh simpulan bahwa pembelajaran IPS dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran show and tell lebih efektif dibandingkan dengan menggunakan ceramah. Hal ini ditunjukkan dengan nilai rata-rata hasil belajar siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran IPS menggunakan model pembelajaran show and tell yaitu 7,25 lebih tinggi dari nilai rata-rata hasil belajar siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran dengan ceramah yaitu 6,31.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of learning models on IPS Learning Outcomes. The object of research includes student and teacher of class VII State Junior High School in Gunungpati District. The approach use in this research is quantitative Expost Facto. Data collection method use in the form of questionnaires and documentation. While the data analysis technique use is regression analysis. The results showed that there is an influence between the learning model use by theacher to the result of the student of class VII State Junior High School in Gunungpati District. The result of calculation of simple regression analysis with equation got value a = 48,504 and b = 0,364 so by using simple linier regression equation formula as follows. Ŷ = 48,504 + 0,364 X . Suggestion for teacher should be more varied using learning modelsin IPS learning. While students so be able to utilize school facilities in accordance with the model of learning use by teachers. So it can be maximized the results of IPS learning. In addition, school should be able to complete the projector facilities in the classroom, the maps as an IPS Learning medium, and allow and facilitate student in the learning process of IPS can be out of class as a processof learning in social study process. So that the learning model is more varied, not monotonous in the classroom. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui model pembelajaran yang digunakan guru, hasil belajar, serta pengaruh model pembelajaran yang digunakan guru terhadap hasil belajar IPS Kelas VII SMP Negeri di Kecamatan Gunungpati. Peneliti menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Objek penelitian meliputi Peserta didik dan guru kelas VII SMP Negeri di Kecamatan Gunungpati. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini ialah Kuantitatif Ex-Post Facto. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan berupa angket dan dokumentasi. Sedangkan teknik analisis data yang digunakan ialah analisis regresi. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa terdapat pengaruh antara model pembelajaran yang digunakan guru terhadap hasil belajar siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri di Kecamatan Gunungpati. Hasil perhitungan analisis regresi sederhana dengan persamaan didapatkan nilai a = 48,504 dan b = 0,364 sehingga dengan menggunakan rumus persamaan regresi linier sederhana sebagai berikut. Ŷ= 48,504 + 0,364 X. Sedangkan Siswa hendaknya mampu memanfaatkan fasilitas sekolah sesuai dengan model pembelajaran yang digunakan guru. Sehingga bisa memaksimalkan hasil belajar IPS. Selain itu Sekolah hendaknya mampu melengkapi fasilitas di dalam kelas seperti peta, globe, dan mengijinkan serta memfasilitasi siswa pada proses pembelajaran IPS dapat keluar kelas sebagai proses pembelajaran pada mata pelajaran IPS

Abstract

The character of the Indonesian nation that began to fade requires an attempt to overcome. Scouting is one of the extracurricular activities that became the character education effort. This study aimed to (1) know the value of the character of the nation that is planted through scouting in SMP / MTs in Mungkidregency, (2) to know the effort to cultivate the value of nation character through scouting in SMP / MTs in Mungkidregency; (3) to know the factors that support and obstruct the cultivation of nation character value through scouting in SMP / MTs in Mungkidregency. The research method usedwas descriptive qualitative research method. Data collection techniques used were observation, interview and documentation. The result of this research showed the value of the character of the nation that is planted through scouting in SMP / MTs in Mungkid regency were religious, discipline, creative, independent, democratic, love the homeland, and appreciate the achievements pursued through the activity planning, scouting contest and SKU test and SKK. The driving and inhibiting factors include internal factors (motivation of learners) and external factors (coach or coach, family, and school). Karakter bangsa Indonesia yang mulai pudar memerlukan sebuah upaya untuk mengatasinya. Ekstrakurikuler Kepramukaan merupakan salah satu kegiatan ekstrakurikuler yang menjadi upaya pendidikan karakter. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui (1) nilai karakter bangsa yang ditanamkan melalui ekstrakurikuler kepramukaan di SMP/MTs se-Kecamatan Mungkid; (2) upaya penanaman nilai karakter bangsa melalui ekstrakurikuler kepramukaan di SMP/MTs seKecamatan Mungkid; (3) faktor yang mendukung dan menghambat penanaman nilai karakter bangsa melalui ekstrakurikuler kepramukaan di SMP/MTs se-Kecamatan Mungkid. Metode penelitian yaitu metode penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukan nilai karakter bangsa yang ditanamkan melalui ekstrakurikuler kepramukaan di SMP/MTs se-Kecamatan Mungkid adalah religius, disiplin, kreatif, mandiri, demokratis, cinta tanah air, dan menghargai prestasi yang diupayakan melaui perencanaan kegiatan, lomba-lomba kepramukaan dan uji SKU dan SKK. Adapun faktor pendorong dan penghambat antara lain faktor internal (motivasi peserta didik) dan faktor eksternal (pembina atau pelatih, keluarga, dan sekolah).

Abstract

Teacher is an important part in the learning process. Besides teaching, the teacher should act as facilitator and motivator for students. Teachers’ Creativity is very important as a support in learning to achieve the learning objectives of the students. Efforts which are done by the teachers are showing up new various ideas, new ways that can make students active, and be able to minimize the causes of learning difficulties of students in Social Science or Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial (IPS) subject. The research method is qualitative research, with the location of the research is in SMP Negeri 34 Semarang. The research result of teacher creativity in overcoming learning difficulties of students in Social Science subject, there were two factors, namely the internal factors and external factors, the teachers were trying in overcoming learning difficulties of students, as for the efforts that have been done by the teachers, there were obstacles that must be faced by the teachers in overcoming learning difficulties of students. Guru merupakan peranan penting dalam proses pembelajaran. Selain sebagai pengajar, guru harus berperan sebagai fasilitator dan motivator bagi siswa. Kreativitas guru sangat penting sebagai penunjang dalam pembelajaran untuk mencapai tujuan belajar siswa. Upaya yang dilakukan guru dengan memunculkan berbagai ide-ide baru, caracara baru yang dapat menjadikan siswa aktif, serta dapat meminimalisir penyebab kesulitan belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran IPS. Metode penelitian adalah penelitian kualitatif, dengan lokasi penelitian di SMP Negeri 34 Semarang. Hasil penelitian kreativitas guru dalam mengatasi kesulitan belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran IPS terdapat dua faktor yaitu faktor internal dan faktor eksternal, guru berupaya dalam mengatasi kesulitan belajar siswa, adapun upaya yang telah dilakukan oleh guru, terdapat kendala yang dihadapi guru dalam mengatasi kesulitan belajar siswa.

Abstract

This research was aims to know about the effect of the utilization of environment as a learning resource on social science learning achievement of 7th grade in State Junior High School 2 Ambarawa. The method used was quantitative with quasi-experimental design. This research located in State Junior High School 2 Ambarawa. Sample are students from F class as a control class and students from G class as an experimental class. The data was acquired via test, observation and documentation. In order to proof the validity of the data was used validity test, reliability test, level of difficulty and level of the differentiation. The data were analyzed by using normality test, homogeneity test also paired sample t-test. The results of the research showed that the utilization of environment as a learning resource on 7th grade in State Junior High School 2 Ambarawa has affected the social science learning achievement. This fact was obtained after seeing the average of the experimental class at post-test which increase from 60 to 76.6 or 27.5% in percentage. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemanfaatan lingkungan sebagai sumber belajar terhadap hasil belajar IPS Kelas VII di SMP Negeri 2 Ambarawa. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan pendekatan quasi eksperimen. Lokasi penelitian ini berada di SMP Negeri 2 Ambarawa. Sampel yang digunakan yaitu kelas VII F sebagai kelas kontrol dan kelas VII G sebagai kelas eksperimen. Pengumpulan data menggunakan tes, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Guna menguji keabsahan data digunakan uji validitas dan reliabilitas juga mengukur daya beda serta tingkat kesukaran soal. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah uji normalitas, uji homogenitas dan uji paired sample t-test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemanfaatan sumber belajar lingkungan pada mata pelajaran IPS Kelas VII di SMP Negeri 2 Ambarawa memilki pengaruh terhadap hasil belajar. Fakta ini di dapat setelah melihat nilai rata-rata kelas eksperimen pada saat post-test mengalami kenaikan yang semula 60 naik menjadi 76,5 atau apabila dihitung dengan presentase naik sebesar 27,5%

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of reward in teaching social studies to enhance learning motivation in class VII MTs Negeri Margadana Tegal. The reason for taking this researchawareness of teachers there to provide motivation for students is still minimal and low activity of students in participating in learning, The design of this study is a Quasi Experiment Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The population of this research is the students of class VII MTs Negeri Margadana Tegal. Samples of the study were students of class VII G and Class H with purpusive sampling technique sampling. Tools and data collection techniques used in this study is the observation, questionnaires, tests, and documentation. The technique of analyzing data used in this study is the normality test, homogenitas test, t-test. In this research, obtained t count value 2,230 and t table at 5% significance level with t table 66 is 1.66, so t count = 2,230 > t table = 1.66. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas pemberian reward dalam pembelajaran IPS untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar kelas VII di MTs Negeri Margadana Kota tegal. Alasan mengambil penelitian ini karena kesadaran guru di sana untuk memberikan motivasi kepada siswanya masih minim dan juga rendahnya aktivitas siswa dalam mengikuti pembelajaran. Desain dari penelitian ini adalah Eksperimen Quasi Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Populasi dari penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII MTs Negeri Margadana Kota Tegal. Sampel dari penelitian adalah siswa kelas VII G dan Kelas VII H dengan teknik sampling purpusive sampling. Alat dan teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah observasi, angket, tes, dan dokumentasi. . Teknis analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah uji normalitas, uji homogenias, uji t. Dalam penelitian ini, diperoleh t hitung bernilai 2,230 dan t tabel pada taraf signifikansi 5% dengan t tabel 66 adalah 1,66, sehingga t hitung = 2,230 > t tabel = 1,66.

Abstract

Ar-Ridho Natural Junior High School is a school that has included entrepreneurship education in its school curriculum. The objectives of the study were: 1) to expost enterpreneurship education of Ar–Ridho Natural High School; 2) to study students’s enterpreneurial interest; and 3) to reveal the extent of the effect of entrepreneurship education on the emergence of entrepreneurial interest in students of Ar-Ridho Natural Junior High School Semarang. This research uses a quantitative method approach with the Expost Facto research design. The results indicate that the average value of Entrepreneurship Education at Ar-Ridho Semarang Junior High School was located at the high category, while the average value of Entrepreneurial Interest of students at the Alam Ar-Ridho Junior High School Semarang was located at the high category. The Constant Value is 16,803 which means that if the application of Entrepreneurship Education is equal to zero, then the consistent value of the variable entrepreneurship interest is 16,803. The coefficient of variable X is 1,307. The conclution of this study is the Entrepreneurship Education influences the Entrepreneurial Interest of students of Alam Ar-Ridho Semarang Junior High School. SMP Alam Ar–Ridho Semarang merupakan sekolah yang sudah memasukkan pendidikan kewirausahaan di dalam kurikulum sekolahnya. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk: 1) mengungkap bagaimana penerapan pendidikan kewirausahaan pada siswa SMP Alam Ar–Ridho Semarang; 2) bagaimana minat berwirausaha siswa SMP Alam ArRidho Semarang; dan 3) bagaimana pengaruh pendidikan kewirausahaan terhadap munculnya minat berwirausaha siswa SMP Alam Ar–Ridho Semarang. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan metode kuantitatif dengan desain penelitian Expost Facto. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai rata–rata Pendidikan Kewirausahaan SMP Alam Ar–Ridho Semarang terletak pada kategori tinggi, sedangkan nilai rata–rata Minat Berwirausaha siswa SMP Alam Ar– Ridho Semarang terletak pada kategori tinggi. Nilai Konstanta adalah sebesar 16,803 mengandung arti bahwa jika penerapan Pendidikan Kewirausahaan sama dengan nol, maka nilai konsisten variabel minat berwirausaha adalah sebesar 16,803. Koefisien variabel X sebesar 1,307. Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah Pendidikan Kewirausahaan berpengaruh terhadap Minat Berwirausaha siswa SMP Alam Ar–Ridho Semarang.

Abstract

The teacher has an important role in the implementation of learning. Therefore, it must be able to use social media learning and be able to develop social media learning with creativity that is owned so that learning can be achieved optimally. The research method used is a qualitative method. The results showed that (1) the instructional media used by the teacher were LCD, maps, globe, pictures, video, puzzles, naget crowns and couple card (2) creativity of social studies teachers in developing learning media is done through collaboration with peers, teachers develop media searching on the internet, and teachers develop media by utilizing materials in the environment (3) evaluation of the usefulness of learning media that is media can clarify the material, the media cause childrens learning motivation to increase, and the media can improve the interaction relationship between teachers ans students. Guru mempunyai peran penting dalam pelaksanaan pembelajaran. Oleh karena itu harus bisa menggunakan media pembelajaran IPS dan dapat mengembangkan media pembelajaran IPS dengan kreativitas yang dimiliki agar pembelajaran dapat tercapai secara maksimal. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa (1) medoa pembelajaran yang digunakan oleh guru yaitu LCD, peta, globe, gambar, video, puzzle, mahkota naget dan couple card (2) kreativitas guru IPS dalam pengembangan media pembelajaran dilakukan melalui kolaborasi dengan teman sejawat, guru mengembangkan media mencari di internet, dan guru mengembangkan media dengan memanfaatkan bahan-bahan yang ada di lingkungan (3) evaluasi kebermanfaatan dengan media pembelajaran yaitu media dapat memperjelas materi, media menyebabkan motivasi belajar anak meningkat, dan media dapat meningkatkan hubungan interaksi antara guru dan siswa.

Abstract

The 2013 curriculum is contextual in that it requires the teacher to relate the material to the environment around students. This study aims to discuss the development of local wisdom-based social studies learning in SMP N 1 Jepara. The research method used in this research is qualitative method. The results showed that the learning tools had been arranged in accordance with the Ministry of Education and Culture. The implementation of social science learning based on local wisdom is carried out by linking Jepara's material and local wisdom such as the natural conditions of its beaches, sea products, art carvings, Troso fabrics, and community traditions such as PerangObor and Lomban. The teacher links it spontaneously when lecturing and inserted it when the discussion adjusts the material and class conditions, that is not fixated with the lesson plan. Supporting factors for implementing social science learning based on local wisdom are: support from the principal, teachers and students as well as Jepara's local wisdom which can be used as a learning resource. Social studies learning based on local wisdom makes the students have better understanding to the material, even though the teacher is still hampered by the time management. Kurikulum 2013 bersifat kontekstual yang menuntut guru mengaitkan materi dengan lingkungan sekitar siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membahas pengembangan pembelajaran IPS berbasis kearifan lokal di SMP N 1 Jepara. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perangkat pembelajaran sudah disusun sesuai dengan Permendikbud. Pelaksanaan pembelajaran IPS berbasis kearifan lokal yang dilakukanya itu dengan mengaitkan materi dan kearifan lokal Jepara seperti kondisi alam pantainya, hasil lautnya, hasil karyanya seperti seni ukir, Kain Troso, dan tradisi masyarakat seperti perang obor dan Lomban. Guru mengaitkannya secara spontanitas ketika ceramah dan disisipkan ketika diskusi menyesuaikan materi dan kondisi kelas serta tidak terpaku dengan RPP. Faktor pendukung melaksanakan pembelajaran IPS berbasis kearifan lokal yaitu: dukungan dari kepala sekolah, guru dan siswa serta Kearifan lokal Jepara yang dapat dijadikan sumber belajar. Pembelajaran IPS berbasis kearifan lokal menjadikan peserta didik lebih memahami materi, walaupun guru masih terhambat pada manajemen waktu.
