Abstract

The learning motivation of grade XI students of SMAN Bengkulu still needs to be improved. This can be seen from the analysis of student needs that were previously carried out with the results that there are still many students who do not understand physics material because they are still lacking in the use of software-based media. This study aimed to determine the development of Articulate Storyline-assisted media to increase students' motivation to learn Newton's law material. Research and development is a type of research that is being carried out (Research and Development). This study used the ADDIE model. This model consists of stages (1) Analysis, (2) Design, (3) Development, (4) Implementation, and (5) Evaluation. The subjects of the study were 33 students in grade XI.2 of SMAN Bengkulu. Data analysis included analysis of learning implementation, media feasibility, student response, and student learning motivation. The results of the research showed: (1) The results of the media feasibility test by the three validators obtained an average percentage value of 85.30% which shows that this learning media is very feasible to use. (2) In the results of the student response, a score of 86.56% was obtained so it was classified as very good. (3) In the results of student learning motivation in the initial motivation with a percentage of 73.86% with the category "Motivated" and in the results of the final motivation questionnaire obtained results with a percentage of 93.29% with the category "Highly Motivated".

Abstract

This research examines the application of the fast forward method to single spin with Rabi frequency. In this study, the electron spin dynamics are examined by accelerating adiabatic quantum dynamics. Through the concept of adiabatic will be obtained unchanged state of the system, at the beginning and end of the evolution of the system. This study aims to obtain an additional Hamiltonian on the concept of accelerated adiabatic quantum dynamics on single spin. The method used is the fast forward method developed by Masuda and Nakamura. The result of this research is to obtain the additional Hamiltonian “equation 54” and the driving magnetic field through the fast forward method “equation 56”. The fast forward method is applied by first obtaining the eigenvalues of the Hamiltonian system. Furthermore, by reviewing the lowest energy state (ground state). It is concluded that this study obtained an additional Hamiltonian term with a driving magnetic field that ensures that a single spin can move from the initial state to the final state in a short time, while maintaining the characteristics of each energy level in the system.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the feasibility, improvement of critical thinking skills, and student responses to LKPD based on Teaching at the Right Level. The Research and Development method, namely the ADDIE model, is used in this study. The distribution of the needs questionnaire at the analysis stage with a percentage result of 78% means that grade XI students of SMAN 8 Bengkulu city need LKPD TaRL teaching materials with the category of agreeing. The planning stage is carried out by designing a TaRL-based LKPD. The development stage was carried out to make LKPD, then validated by three experts consisting of two lecturers and one teacher, a percentage of 91% was obtained which was considered very feasible. At the implementation stage, a pretest was carried out before learning using LKPD TaRL in grade XI 2 SMAN 8 Bengkulu city, then a postest with an increase in N-gain of 0.78 was categorized as high and a student response of 88% in the very good category. The evaluation stage is carried out at each stage of the ADDIE model. It was found that the development of TaRL-based LKPD was very feasible, the student response was very good, and the increase in N-gain was high.

Abstract

This study aims to overcome the lack of weather monitoring tools in Indonesia. The main factors of extreme weather changes in Indonesia are the rainy season and strong atmospheric dynamics. Weather monitoring tools developed based on IoT, allowing monitoring remotely. The research method used the ADDIE model, with data collected through validation tools and analyzed qualitatively using the Likert scale. Validation by three experts showed an average result of 89.29%, which falls into the very decent category. This tool aims to provide solutions for coastal communities in the city of Bengkulu, allowing them to get early warnings about weather changes, especially strong winds. This tool has been proven to fit its design and works well. Recommendations for future research are the addition of regional classification, replacement of more durable sensors such as other types of DHT sensors, and the addition of data loggers to store previous measurement history.

Abstract

The initial observation results indicate that students are less active in the learning process and easily give up when faced with tasks deemed difficult. This study aims to describe the feasibility of physics e-books aided by flipbooks and augmented reality (AR), describe students' responses and describe students' learning motivation after the implementation of physics e-books aided by flipbooks and augmented reality (AR). This research is a type of development research using the ADDIE model. Sampling was done using purposive sampling techniques consisting of students from the Eleventh-grade science 3 class at Public High School 7 in Kota Bengkulu. The instruments used were observation sheets, teacher interview sheets, validation sheets, student response questionnaires, and pretest and posttest student learning motivation questionnaires, with data collection techniques including interviews, questionnaires, and documentation. Data were analyzed using quantitative data analysis. The research results show that the feasibility test criteria for physics e-books were obtained with a very good category. Students also responded very well to the developed physics e-books. Based on the analysis of student learning motivation questionnaires using the Gain value, it was found that students experienced an increase in learning motivation after using the developed physics e-books. Therefore, it can be concluded that physics e-books aided by flipbooks and augmented reality (AR) are highly suitable for use as learning media and can enhance students' learning motivation, especially in dynamic fluid materials

Abstract

This study aims to develop and test the feasibility of a digital kinematics module for grade XI high school students equipped with Artificial Intelligent (AI) videos and through the Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs) platform. Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation are the five steps of the ADDIE development model, which are used in the Research and Development (R&D) process. According to the analysis, students have difficulty understanding physics ideas because there are not enough interesting and interactive learning resources available. The digital module created includes practice questions, quizzes, and videos that are available anywhere, anytime. The results of the study are that students responded well to the curriculum, showing a satisfaction score of 83%. The Artificial Intelligent AI module provides a more engaging and significant educational experience, which is consistent with the Merdeka Curriculum's emphasis on technology-integrated learning.

Abstract

The independent curriculum emphasizes developing critical thinking skills and solving scientific, analytical, and practical problems. Schools need to facilitate learning that enhances these skills, and teachers must create appropriate strategies. Interviews with physics teachers at SMAN 11 Kota Bengkulu reveal that the independent curriculum is implemented, but assessment data and daily exams show that 50-60% of grade XI students struggle with solving physics problems. Students tend to be passive, memorizing formulas without understanding the concepts deeply. This indicates a lack of critical thinking skills such as analyzing, synthesizing, solving problems, concluding, and evaluating material, especially in linear motion kinematics. Additionally, students’ interest in learning is low, and they find physics difficult. To address this, a STEM-based Problem Based Learning (PBL) model was applied. This study aims to determine the effect of STEM-based PBL on improving students’ critical thinking skills and the extent of improvement in linear motion kinematics. The study used a quasi-experiment with a non-equivalent control group design, with XI C as the control class and XI B as the experimental class.
