Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum in physics learning at high schools in Bengkulu City, focusing specifically on SMA Negeri 4, SMA Negeri 8, and SMA Negeri 9 Bengkulu City. Additionally, it examines students' responses to implementing the Merdeka Curriculum in physics learning at these three schools. The background of this research stems from the "Merdeka Belajar" (Freedom to Learn) policy introduced by the Ministry of Education and Culture, designed to provide teachers with the flexibility to develop teaching methods that meet students' needs and emphasize assessments measuring fundamental competencies. The Merdeka Curriculum is a response to the evolving challenges in education, aimed at improving the quality of learning through a more flexible, relevant, and student-centered system. This study employs a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. The instruments include module assessment tools, teaching implementation evaluation tools, and student response questionnaires. The findings reveal that implementing the Merdeka Curriculum in physics learning at high schools in Bengkulu City is considered adequate and well-received by students. Students responded positively to various aspects, such as the relevance of the material to real-world issues, the enhancement of critical thinking and collaborative skills, the integration of technology, and the diversity of assessment methods. These positive responses demonstrate that the Merdeka Curriculum successfully fosters a more interactive and meaningful learning experience for students.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the feasibility of android-based interactive learning media with an ethnophysical approach, describe the increase in students understanding of concepts, and describe students responses to android-based interactive learning media with an ethnophysical approach. The study was conducted in class XI C at SMAN 6 Bengkulu City in the 2024/2025 academic year. The method used is Research and Development using the ADDIE development model, which consists of five stages: analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. Interviews, observations, and questionnaires were used in the study to collect data. Based on the product validity test, an average total validation of 80.20% was obtained, which met the criteria for being very suitable. The results of student responses through the response questionnaire to the media obtained an average score of 82.90%, with a very good category. The results of the N-Gain value through the pretest and posttest tests obtained a score of 0.68, which is included in the moderate classification. It can be concluded that developing android-based interactive learning media with an ethnophysical approach to parabolic motion material received a very good response.

Abstract

In the Merdeka Curriculum, learning objectives include learning skills that students must achieve at each stage. The learning objectives in Phase E consist of elements of scientific understanding and process skills. This study aims to analyze the effect of the Project-Based Learning (PjBL) model on scientific understanding and process skills in renewable energy topics for 10th-grade students. The research employed a quasi-experimental method with a pretest-posttest non-equivalent control group design. The research instruments included multiple-choice tests to measure scientific understanding and observation sheets to assess process skills. The findings showed that the average posttest score of the experimental class was higher than that of the control class, and the Independent Samples t-test revealed a significant difference in scientific understanding. Students' process skills also showed significant improvement. The results indicate that students in the experimental class demonstrated better improvements in scientific understanding and process skills compared to those in the control class. In conclusion, the implementation of PjBL effectively enhances scientific understanding and process skills through an active and real-world problem-based learning approach.

Abstract

The study aims to determine the effect of physics learning using the Project Based Learning (PjBL) model assisted by E-LKPD based on Live Worksheet on the creative thinking ability of grade X students and how much influence physics learning with project-based learning model assisted by E-LKPD based on live worksheet on the creative thinking ability of grade X students. The research was conducted with a quasi-experiment design involving experimental and control classes. The results showed the average posttest of the experimental class of 66 was higher than the control class of 64.85. The Independent Sample t-Test test resulted in a t value of 4.745 and Sig. (2-tailed) < 0.001, indicating a significant difference in science understanding. Students' creative thinking skills also improved significantly with a t value of 4.745 and Sig. (2-tailed) < 0.001. The result of the effect size is 1.05, which shows that there is a significant increase in the creative thinking skills of students who use the PjBL model assisted by E-LKPD based on Live Worksheet, with the average posttest value of the experimental class higher than the control class. The application of the PjBL model involving E-LKPD based on live worksheets is proven to be effective in increasing student creativity.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the increase in the level of students’ High Order Thinking Skills (HOTs) after being given learning with a Problem Based Learning (PBL) model assisted by Augmented Reality (AR) media. This study was a quantitative research using Pre-Experimental method in the form of one group pretest-posttest design. The sample of this study was 31 students of class X IPA SMA Negeri 9 Bengkulu City. The research data was collected through 3 stages, namely the pretest, treatment using the Problem Based Learning model assisted by Augmented Reality media, and the post-test. The research data was processed with the help of statistical software package for social sciences (SPSS) 20. Data analysis was carried out through Statistical Descriptive Test, then Data Normality Test with Klomogorov Smirnov. The results of data analysis showed that the data sample was normally distributed with a significance value of 0.29, that is more than 0.05, and further data analysis used the Parametric Paired Pample T-test. Based on the data analysis, it was concluded that Ha was accepted with a sig. 2 tailed 0.00 is less than < 0.05. Therefore, it can be concluded that there is an increase in the level of students’ High Order Thinking Skills after the implementation of the problem-based learning model assisted by augmented reality media with an N-gain value of 0.36 in the category of medium level of improvement.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of problem-based learning on the ability of physics science literacy at SMAN 4 Bengkulu City. The research was conducted in class XI IPA 2. The method used was a pre-experiment with a one group pretest-posttest design. The first stage is the assessment of the test in the form of a pretest (initial test) after which it is given the learning treatment using the problem-based learning model. The last step is given a final test in the form of a posttest. There is an influence on the results of hypothesis testing and the results of students' scientific literacy ability tests before being given treatment and after being given treatment. The test results were hypothesized using the help of SPSS software version 25 obtained H_0 was rejected and H_1 was accepted, using the problem based learning learning model on students' scientific literacy skills on the concept of material Elasticity and Hooke's Law seen from the test results which showed an average posttest result of 80.19% higher than the pretest average (48.52%). Based on the results of the hypothesis test, there is an effect of problem-based learning on the scientific literacy abilities of physics students at SMAN 4 Bengkulu City.
