Abstract

This study aims to develop an Arduino Uno-based temperature and heat practicum tool using the DS18B20 temperature sensor  for senior high school (SMA). This study uses the Research and Development Method following the procedure for designing a practicum tool that applies the ADDIE model development stage with stages, namely analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation. However, this research is limited to the development stage. The data collection techniques used in this study were : (1) media expert validation sheets and material expert validation sheets to determine the feasibility of practicum tools and guidebooks, (2) student perception sheets to find out students responses to practicum tools and guidebooks. The results of experimental data using temperature and heat practicum tools as learning media that were developed fulfill the valid requirements with an average validator by media experts for practicum tools of 96.64% with the very feasible category, while for guidebooks 90.59% with the very feasible category. The validator material is 95.80% in a very feasible category, while for guidebooks 95.81% is in a very feasible category. Students' perception of practicum tools is 91% with a very feasible category, while for guidebooks 95% with a very feasible category. I think the tools can be used for physics learning.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar IPAS peserta didik kelas V.A SDN 69 Kota Bengkulu, melalui penggunaan model pembelajaran PBL berbantuan media Educaplay. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa adanya peningkatan hasil belajar pada setiap siklusnya. Hasil penelitian ini juga menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata hasil belajar dan ketuntasan belajar klasikal pada siklus II meningkat dibandingkan dengan siklus I. Hasil nilai rata-rata pada siklus I adalah 64, kemudian pada siklus II meningkat menjadi 81. Selanjutnya hasil ketuntasan belajar klasikal pada siklus I dari 29 peserta didik yang mampu mencapai nilai KKTP ada 16 orang dan jika dipersentasekan adalah 55% dengan kategori cukup, selanjutnya pada siklus II yang mampu mencapai nilai KKTP ada 24 orang dan jika dipersentasekan adalah 83% dengan kategori sangat baik. Kesimpulan yang diperoleh dari hasil penelitian adalah penggunaan model Problem Based Learning (PBL) berbantuan media Educaplay dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar IPAS peserta didik kelas V.A SDN 69 Kota Bengkulu. Kata Kunci: Problem Based Learning, Media Educaplay, Hasil Belajar, IPAS   ABSTRACT This research aims to improve the science and science learning outcomes of class V.A students at SDN 69 Bengkulu City, through the use of the PBL learning model assisted by Educaplay media. The research results show that there is an increase in learning outcomes in each cycle. The results of this research also show that the average learning outcomes and classical learning completion in cycle II increased compared to cycle I. The average score in cycle I was 64, then in cycle II it increased to 81. Furthermore, the results of classical learning completion in cycle First of the 29 students who were able to achieve the KKTP score there were 16 people and if the percentage was 55% in the sufficient category, then in cycle II those who were able to achieve the KKTP score were 24 people and if the percentage was 83% in the very good category. The conclusion obtained from the research results is that the use of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model assisted by Educaplay media can improve the science and science learning outcomes of class V.A students at SDN 69 Bengkulu City. Abstract

Background of Study: The utilization of artificial intelligence (AI) in physics learning in Indonesia is still relatively new and requires further implementation regarding its effectiveness, so that it becomes a challenge in itself, especially in understanding abstract concepts and materials.Aims and scope of paper: The Chatbots and AI Visualizations training at SMAN 6 Central Bengkulu aims to improve students' skills and knowledge in utilizing modern technology to deepen their understanding of physics concepts.Methods: This study used a quantitative approach through pre-test and post-test of 41 students in grades X and XI, with instruments in the form of multiple-choice questions to measure basic understanding of AI, ability to write prompts, understanding and visualization skills on physics concepts, and understanding the ethics of using AI in learning activities.Results: The results showed high enthusiasm and interest in AI-based learning, with all respondents expressing interest in this technology. After the training, there were improvements in the understanding of physics concepts through AI, the ability to write prompts, understanding and visualization skills using AI, and ethical knowledge in the use of AI in learning.Conclusion: The findings indicate that the integration of AI in physics learning not only increases the effectiveness and interactivity of the learning process, but also equips students with relevant 21st century competencies in the digital era.

Abstract

The problem that students often face in their learning is a misunderstanding in studying physics. The reason is because educators only teach physics abstractly through the classroom, without laboratory experiments (practice) or the use of other media aids, such as using ICT-based learning media. The research method used by researchers is research and development (R&D). R&D is a research model for the purpose of producing products and product feasibility tests. This research was conducted through five different stages of the ADDIE development model. Development, implementation and evaluation are not carried out because the purpose of this study is only to develop modules. This module is not directly applicable to classroom learning. The population used in the study was 153 students and 4 physics teachers from 3 high schools in Bengkulu City. The results of the needs analysis are valid and reliable, teachers and students of 3 high schools in Bengkulu City strongly agree with the development of E-modules for parabolic motion materials.

Abstract

Berpikir kritis merupakan salah satu kecakapan yang harus dimiliki siswa di kelas, bermacam model pembelajaran kurikulum 2013 dapat menjadi penunjangnya. Penelitian ini bermaksud untuk mengetahui pengaruh Project Based Learning Model berbantuan Canva terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa pada materi Fluida Dinamis. Penelitian ini termasuk penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain nonequivalent control group. Populasi yang terlibat yaitu kelas XI IPA 5 28 siswa sebagai kelas eksperimen yang diberi perlakuan dan kelas XI IPA 6 berjumlah 28 siswa sebagai kelas Kontrol. Uji t-test dan N-gain sebagai  uji hipotesis penelitian. Hasil uji t-test pada SPSS 0,000 > α = 0,05 menunjukkan hipotesis Ha di terima dan Ho di tolak. Hasil N-gain sebesar 0,74 dimana interpretasi tergolong tinggi. Dapat disimpulkan terdapat bukti nyata adanya pengaruh project based learning berbantuan canva terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa di SMAN 7 Kota Bengkulu pada materi Fluida Dinamis.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui kelayakan media pembelajaran interaktif berbantuan aplikasi canva yang telah dikembangkan dan mengetahui seberapa besar peningkatan kemampuan pemahaman konsep siswa pada materi suhu, kalor, dan perpindahan kalor. Metode penelitian yang digunakan pada penelitian ini yaitu metode penelitian dan pengembangan (R&D) dengan model pengembangan ADDIE, yang terdiri atas  5 tahapan yaitu Analyze, Design, Development , Implementation, dan evaluation. Subjek penelitian berjumlah 36 siswa di kelas XI IPA  di SMAN 8 Kota Bengkulu. Instumen pengumpulan data yang digunakan berupa lembar observasi, wawancara, analisis kebutuhan, validasi media, dan N-gain. Hasil analisis kebutuhan peserta didik terhadap pengembangan media pembelajaran interaktif sebesar 85%, yang menyatakan bahwa peserta didik sangat setuju dan membutuhkan media pembelajaran yang interaktif dan menarik. Analisis data validasi media  memperoleh persentase sebesar 86,85%  dan N-gain sebesar 0,71 yang menyatakan bahwa media tersebut layak digunakan dan cukup efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan pemahaman konsep.

Abstract

This study set out to examine the demands of educators and learners with reference to the creation of Nearpod application-based learning resources for high school students studying parabolic motion. The information used in this study came from a review of the literature, interviews with physics instructors, and class XI students at SMAN 01, SMAN 03, and SMAN 09 in Bengkulu City. This study employs a qualitative descriptive research methodology. The methods utilized to collect the data are interviews, observations, and literature reviews. Observation and interview sheets made up the research instrument. Qualitative data analysis is used in data analysis procedures. Interactive learning materials are required in classrooms, as indicated by the findings of observations and interviews. This is a result of the fact that professors continue to employ a conventional learning approach and that pupils struggle to understand the information. The usage of interactive learning media in the learning process is necessary as a medium that promotes the learning process, according to the study's findings and discussion.

Abstract

The background to this Community Service is the difficulty of teachers in designing and implementing assessments, Authentic Assessments and carrying out learning evaluations well. Therefore, a form of socialization and workshops regarding the development of authentic evaluation and assessment is needed to provide skills to teachers in creating science learning tools that are effective in developing authentic assessments in accordance with the 2013 curriculum. The service method is carried out through pre-surveys, literature review, outreach, and workshops. The strategic target audience for this authentic assessment preparation training is science teachers at Public Junior High School No. 11 Bengkulu City (SMP Negeri 11 Bengkulu City). The location for the socialization and workshop is the Laboratory of SMP Negeri 11 Bengkulu City. The results of community service in the form of training and preparation of authentic assessments in accordance with the 2013 curriculum for science teachers at Public SMP No 11 Bengkulu City which have been implemented (1) can improve teachers' abilities to design authentic assessments in accordance with the 2013 curriculum so that teachers can improve their teaching abilities professionally. (2) Teachers can create effective science learning tools and are able to develop authentic assessments that must be in accordance with what has been outlined in Minister of Education and Culture Regulation No. 23 of 2016 so that teachers can implement the tools in the classroom efficiently.

Abstract

This community service aims to provide training to teachers at SD Negeri 8 Bengkulu City in utilizing the CRT approach to implement learning that liberates students. The training activity was carried out on April 27 2024 at SD Negeri 8 Bengkulu City and was attended by 13 teachers. Training methods are carried out in the form of lectures, discussions and practice. In the first session, participants were provided with an understanding of the concept of CRT and the importance of integrating culture in learning. The second session discussed identifying students' cultural backgrounds and learning strategies that are appropriate to the CRT approach. The final session focused on classroom management from a CRT perspective, evaluation, and collaboration with parents and the community. The training activity was carried out at SDN 8 Bengkulu City, which was attended by 13 teachers. Through this training, it is hoped that teachers can develop the ability to create a learning environment that is culturally responsive, respects diversity, and liberates students in the learning process. Activities are carried out using training patterns. After conducting training, teachers were able to develop teaching modules using the CRT approach. From this training activity it can be concluded that the training has an impact on the ability of teachers to develop teaching modules using the CRT approach.

Abstract

This study aims to examine what educators and learners require in order to create augmented reality-based educational materials for high school students. Descriptive research is one of the study methods used in research and development (RND). The data collection used is by conducting literature studies, observations, interviews and filling out questionnaires. This research instrument consists of observation sheets, interview sheets, and questionnaire sheets. Both quantitative and qualitative data analysis were the methods employed for the data analysis. The findings of the analysis of student needs questionnaires showed that, on average, 69% of the category agreed to the development of augmented reality-based learning media. These findings are based on observations made during teacher interviews, which indicate that the learning media used are still conventional and cause students to struggle with understanding learning materials. Thus, it follows that the utilization of learning materials based on augmented reality is required as a supporting medium in the educational process.
