Abstract

Jagung manis (Zea mays saccharata L.) merupakan tanaman pangan yang banyak dibudidayakan masyarakat dan menjadi satu diantara komoditas terpenting setelah tanaman padi karena mengandung karbohidrat,   protein, lemak yang rendah, dan sejumlah vitamin sangat bermanfaat bagi kesehatan. Penelitian bertujuan untuk menentukan dosis dan jenis amelioran terbaik dalam meningkatkan pertumbuhan dan hasil jagung manis pada lahan gambut. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) Faktorial yang terdiri dari 2 faktor dan diulang sebanyak 3 kali. Faktor pertama yaitu pemberian dosis amelioran (D) terdiri dari: d1= 10 ton/ha setara dengan 5,6 kg/petak, d2= 20 ton/ha setara dengan 11,2 kg/petak, d3= 30 ton/ha setara dengan 16,8 kg/petak. Faktor kedua yaitu jenis amelioran (J) terdiri dari: j1= lumpur laut, j2= tanah aluvial, j3= abu kayu. Variabel pengamatan meliputi: tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun, berat kering tanaman, volume akar, berat jagung berkelobot, diameter tongkol, panjang tongkol, berat jagung berkelobot per petak. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian bahwa amelioran abu kayu dengan dosis 20 ton/ha setara 11,2 kg/petak merupakan perlakuan terbaik dalam meningkatkan pertumbuhan dan hasil jagung manis pada lahan gambut.

Abstract

Lobak (Raphanus sativus L.) termasuk jenis tanaman sayuran dalam bentuk umbi dari keluarga Cruciferaeceae atau Brassicaceae, tumbuh di daerah tropis yang beriklim sedang dan dapat dijadikan sebagai obat alternatif. Upaya peningkatan produksi tanaman lobak di Kalimantan Barat adalah dengan mengoptimalkan tanah Podsolik Merah Kuning (PMK) sebagai media tanam dengan penambahan bahan organik biochar tongkol jagung dan pupuk NPK. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui interaksi antara biochar tongkol jagung dan pupuk NPK serta untuk mendapatkan dosis terbaik dari masing-masing perlakuan. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Jalan Reformasi Gang. Struktur dengan ketinggian tempat 1 mdpl. Penelitian berlangsung sejak 5 Maret-12 April 2023. Penelitian mengunakan metode pola Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) Faktorial yang terdiri dari 2 faktor yaitu biochar tongkol jagung (B) : b1 = 10 ton/ha, b2 = 20 ton/ha, b3 = 30 ton/ha; dan pupuk NPK (P) : p1 = 200 kg/ha, p2 = 400 kg/ha, p3 = 600 kg/ha masing-masing dengan 3 taraf perlakuan yang terdiri dari 9 kombinasi perlakuan dan 3 ulangan, sehingga total keseluruhan ada 108 tanaman. Variabel yang diamati dalam penelitian ini meliputi : jumlah daun, panjang umbi, diameter umbi, berat segar tanaman, berat segar umbi, berat kering tanaman. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pemberian biochar tongkol jagung 10 ton/ha dan pupuk NPK 400 kg/ha memberikan hasil terbaik terhadap jumlah daun dan panjang umbi tanaman lobak.

Abstract

The application of various types of organic matter as ameliorant and NPK fertilizer can increase the fertility of ultisol soil, physically and chemically. The study aimed to determine the effect of ameliorant types, the dose of NPK fertilizer and their interaction on the growth and development of glutinous corn on ultisol soil. The research was conducted in Bengkayang Regency, West Kalimantan from March to August 2020. The research used a factorial randomized block design. The first factor was the types of ameliorants with 5 levels, namely corncob biochar, corn waste bokashi, rice straw bokashi, cow manure, and chicken manure. The second factor was the dosage of NPK fertilizer with 4 levels, i.e., 100, 200, 300, and 400 kg ha-1. The chicken manure ameliorant increased plant height 2, 4, and 6 WAP (weeks after planting), ear diameter, ear length, ear weight per ear, and ear weight per plot. The best dose of NPK fertilizer for glutinous maize production is 200 kg ha-1 on ear length and weight per ear, and a dose of 100 kg ha-1 can stimulate plant growth based on plant height of 4 WAP. The combination of chicken manure and NPK fertilizer of 400 kg ha-1 produced the highest root dry weight, crown dry weight, and relative growth rate. The study aimed to determine the effect of N, P, and K fertilizer dosages on the growth and yield of several rice varieties on alluvial soil. The research was conducted in Kubu Raya Regency, West Kalimantan, from March to October 2023. The method used a factorial randomized complete block design with three replications. The first factor was rice varieties (Argo Pawan, Bima Saputra, Inpari 43, Padang, and Tropiko). The second factor was N, P, and K fertilization (150 kg N ha-1+ 100 kg P2O5 ha-1 + 100 kg K20 ha-1; 300 kg N ha-1 + 200 kg P2O5 ha-1 + 200 kg K20 ha-1; 450 kg N ha‑1 + 300 kg P2O5 ha-1 + 300 kg K20 ha-1). The Tropiko variety had the highest plant height compared to other varieties. The Inpari 43 variety produced the highest maximum number of tillers. Furthermore, the Inpari 43 and Tropiko varieties were the best treatments for producing the number of productive tillers and grain weight per plot. The N, P, and K fertilizer dosage of 300 kg N ha-1 + 200 kg P2O5 ha-1 + 200 kg K20 ha-1 was the best treatment in producing growth and yields of rice plants based on the variables of maximum number of tillers, number of productive tillers, and grain weight per plot. Abstract

The reseacrh aims to determine the best dosage and type of mineral materials to increase the growth and yield of sweet corn on peat soil was carried out in Rasau Jaya District. This reseach used a Factorial Completely Randomized Design (CRD) method consisting of 2 factor and 3 replications. The first factor, namely various dosage (D), consists of: d1= 10 ton ha-1, d2= 20 ton ha-1, d3= 30 ton ha-1. The second factor, namely the type of mineral subtance (M), consists of: m1 = sea mud, m2 = aluvial soil, m3 = wood ash. The results of the study showed that there was no interaction between of various dosage and type of mineral ingredients on all observed variables. Mineral subtance dosage of 30 ton ha-1 provides an increase in root volume, plant dry weight and number of rows per cob, while wood ash is the best type of mineral substance in increasing plant height, stem diameter, number of leaf, root volume, plant dry weight, cob lengh, cob diameter, number of fruits per cob, weight of cobs with husks and weight of cobs without husks. Key-words: growth and yield, mineral subtance, peat soil, sweet cornINTISARIPenelitian bertujuan untuk menentukan dosis dan jenis bahan mineral terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil jagung manis pada tanah gambut telah dilaksanakan di Kecamatan Rasau Jaya selama empat bulan. Rancangan percobaan yang digunakan adalah Rancangan Acak Kelompok faktorial dengan dua faktor yang diulang sebanyak 3 kali. Faktor pertama adalah dosis bahan mineral terdiri dari 3 taraf, yaitu d1 = 10 ton ha-1  , d2 =20 ton ha-1  , dan d3 = 30 ton ha-1  dan faktor kedua adalah jenis bahan mineral, terdiri dari 4 taraf, yaitu m1 = lumpur laut, m2 = tanah aluvial, m3 = abu kayu, dan m4 = tanah PMK. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan tidak terjadi interaksi antara pemberian berbagai dosis dan jenis bahan mineral terhadap semua variabel pengamatan. Dosis bahan mineral 30 ton ha-1 memberikan peningkatan terhadap volume akar, berat kering tanaman dan jumlah baris per tongkol, sedangkan abu kayu merupakan jenis bahan mineral terbaik dalam meningkatkan tinggi tanaman, diameter batang, jumlah daun, volume akar, berat kering tanaman, panjang tongkol, diameter tongkol, jumlah buah per tongkol, berat tongkol berkelobot dan berat tongkol  tanpa kelobot.Kata Kunci: bahan mineral, gambut, hasil, jagung manis, pertumbuhan

Abstract

This study aimed to evaluate the effects of liquid organic fertilizers on the growth and yield of melon plants cultivated on peat soils with different decomposition levels. The experiment was conducted from April to November 2024 at the experimental field on Jalan Reformasi, Pontianak, West Kalimantan, using a factorial Completely Randomized Design with two factors and three replications. The first factor was the type of liquid organic fertilizer (cow urine, Jadam, Jakaba, and NASA), and the second factor was peat maturity level (fibric, hemic, and sapric). The results indicated no significant interaction between liquid organic fertilizers and peat maturity levels on plant height, leaf number, fruit diameter, fruit circumference, or fruit weight per plant. Peat maturity levels had similar effects across all growth and yield parameters. Among the fertilizers, NASA liquid organic fertilizer and cow urine produced the highest fruit diameter, fruit circumference, and fruit weight per plant.

Abstract

Edamame (Glycine max (L.) Merrill) merupakan varietas kedelai bernilai ekonomi tinggi yang berpotensi dikembangkan di Kalimantan Barat seiring meningkatnya permintaan ekspor, khususnya ke Jepang. Namun, pengembangan edamame pada lahan gambut menghadapi kendala berupa pH tanah rendah, ketersediaan hara terbatas, dan daya pegang air yang kurang optimal. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengkaji pengaruh bokasi limbah baglog jamur tiram dan pupuk NPK terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman edamame pada tanah gambut. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada Maret–Juni 2025 di Pontianak, Kalimantan Barat, menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap dua faktor dengan tiga ulangan. Faktor pertama adalah dosis bokasi limbah baglog jamur tiram (15, 20, dan 25 ton/ha), sedangkan faktor kedua adalah dosis pupuk NPK (2, 3, dan 4 g/tanaman). Parameter yang diamati meliputi tinggi tanaman, berat kering tanaman, volume akar, jumlah polong, berat polong segar per tanaman, jumlah polong isi, dan persentase polong isi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kombinasi bokasi limbah baglog jamur tiram dan pupuk NPK memberikan respons positif terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil edamame. Perlakuan bokasi 25 ton/ha yang dikombinasikan dengan pupuk NPK setara 250 kg/ha merupakan perlakuan terbaik dalam meningkatkan berat kering tanaman, jumlah polong, berat polong segar, dan persentase polong isi pada tanah gambut.

Abstract

Liberica coffee has great potential in West Kalimantan, but its productivity is low due to old plants that have not been rejuvenated. To improve yields, good planting media is needed, such as the use of arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi (AMF) and the addition of cocopeat. Proper NPK fertilization is also important soil. This study aims to observe the response of coffee seedlings to the application of mycorrhiza, cocopeat, and NPK fertilizer. The research was conducted in Limbung Village, Kubu Raya Regency, using a factorial completely randomized design with three factors. The first factor is mycorrhiza with two treatment levels, the second factor is cocopeat with four treatment levels, and the third factor is NPK fertilizer with three treatment levels. The results showed that the interaction treatment between mycorrhiza, cocopeat, and NPK fertilizer provided the best results, specifically the combination of mycorrhiza + 25 g. plant-1 cocopeat + 1 g.plant-1 NPK fertilizer on the growth of coffee seedlings in Ultisol soil, thereby accelerating seedling readiness for transplanting and field planting.
