Abstract

Background: The ongoing Fourth Industrial Revolution has brought significant impacts across various aspects of life, particularly in technological development. One of the most influential technologies is Artificial Intelligence (AI), which is known for its ability to solve problems more efficiently. Objective: For university students, the implementation of AI plays an important role in supporting learning processes, enhancing analytical skills, and facilitating access to information. Methods: This study employs a literature review method by examining various academic sources related to the use of AI in higher education. Results: The findings indicate that AI provides positive impacts on students’ mindsets, including increased creativity, learning effectiveness, and critical-thinking abilities. However, potential negative effects were also identified, such as decreased intellectual independence and excessive reliance on technology. Conclusion: Therefore, appropriate strategies for AI utilization are required to ensure that students do not merely become passive users but instead can maximize the technology to develop a critical, innovative, and competitive mindset.

Abstract

Turnover intention is an important aspect of human resource management because it is associated with employees' tendency to leave an organization. One factor that is presumed to influence turnover intention is transactional leadership, which emphasizes an exchange relationship between leaders and subordinates through the provision of rewards and performance monitoring. This study aimed to examine the effect of transactional leadership on the turnover intention of employees at Cool Supermarket Tomohon. This research employed a quantitative approach with an associative research design. The study population consisted of 55 employees, all of whom were selected as the sample using a saturated sampling technique. Data were collected through a Likert-scale questionnaire and analyzed using normality, linearity, and simple linear regression tests with the assistance of IBM SPSS Statistics 25.0. The results indicated that transactional leadership had a negative and significant effect on turnover intention, with a regression coefficient of -0.901 and a significance value of 0.000 (p < 0.05). The coefficient of determination (R²) was 0.936, indicating that 93.6% of the variation in turnover intention was explained by transactional leadership, while the remaining 6.4% was influenced by other factors outside the scope of this study. These findings suggest that the better the implementation of transactional leadership, the lower the employees' turnover intention.

Abstract

Kontrol diri merupakan kemampuan seseorang dalam mengendalikan dirinya sesuai dengan situasi atau kondisi yang sedang terjadi, meliputi kemampuan mengontrol tindakan, menahan emosi, mengendalikan perilaku, serta menahan diri dari godaan. Pola asuh otoriter merupakan pola pengasuhan yang bersifat mengontrol, mengekang, dan berkuasa mengatur segala hal yang dilakukan anak tanpa memberi kesempatan anak untuk mandiri, dengan aturan yang dibuat orang tua harus ditaati dan disertai hukuman apabila dilanggar. Pada sebagian besar mahasiswa diketahui masih banyak yang memiliki kontrol diri rendah, dan salah satu faktornya adalah pola asuh otoriter orang tua terhadap anak. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat pengaruh pola asuh otoriter terhadap kontrol diri pada mahasiswa Psikologi Angkatan 2025 Fakultas Ilmu Pendidikan dan Psikologi Universitas Negeri Manado. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode asosiatif dengan jumlah sampel 123 orang yang ditentukan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara pola asuh otoriter terhadap kontrol diri dengan arah pengaruh yang negatif, yang berarti semakin tinggi pola asuh otoriter maka semakin rendah kontrol diri mahasiswa

Abstract

The loss of a father during late adolescence often results in serious psychological trauma that disrupts emotional and social development. This study aimed to explore the traumatic experiences associated with father loss and the process of emotional recovery in late adolescents. Using a qualitative case study design, the population comprised late adolescents who experienced the sudden loss of a father, with a purposive sample of one participant who met the age and experiential criteria. The primary instrument was a semi-structured in-depth interview, which was analyzed using a descriptive qualitative approach through thematic coding and interpretation of subjective meanings. The findings revealed trauma symptoms such as flashbacks, trigger-related anxiety, concentration difficulties, and avoidance behaviors. Emotional recovery was supported by social support from a romantic partner and spiritual practices, particularly prayer. The conclusion emphasizes that the combination of these factors facilitates self-acceptance and emotional resilience, and it recommends holistic interventions in adolescent counseling.

Abstract

Motivasi belajar merupakan faktor penting yang memengaruhi keberhasilan siswa dalam proses pembelajaran. Hasil observasi awal di SMTK Berea Tondano menunjukkan masih terdapat siswa dengan motivasi belajar rendah yang ditandai kurang aktif dalam pembelajaran, sering menunda tugas, kurang fokus, dan rendahnya semangat berprestasi. Salah satu layanan bimbingan dan konseling yang dapat diterapkan untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut adalah konseling kelompok dengan teknik behavior contract, yaitu teknik yang menekankan komitmen perubahan perilaku melalui kesepakatan antara konselor dan siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penerapan layanan konseling kelompok dengan teknik behavior contract dalam meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa di SMTK Berea Tondano. Penelitian menggunakan metode Penelitian Tindakan Bimbingan dan Konseling (PTBK) model Kemmis dan McTaggart yang meliputi tahap perencanaan, tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi. Penelitian dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus dengan subjek enam siswa yang memiliki motivasi belajar rendah. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan angket motivasi belajar dan lembar observasi, kemudian dianalisis secara deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan konseling kelompok dengan teknik behavior contract mampu meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa. Pada Siklus I motivasi belajar masih berada pada kategori rendah karena siswa belum aktif dan belum konsisten menjalankan kontrak perilaku. Setelah perbaikan tindakan pada Siklus II, seluruh siswa menunjukkan peningkatan keaktifan, kepercayaan diri, kedisiplinan, tanggung jawab belajar, serta mencapai kategori motivasi belajar tinggi. Dengan demikian, layanan konseling kelompok menggunakan teknik behavior contract terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa di SMTK Berea Tondano.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Pengaruh media Sosial Terhadap Gaya Hidup Mahasiswa Prodi Bimbingan Konseling FIPP Universitas Negeri Manado. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan metode kuantitatif dengan  teknik survei melalui penyebaran angket (kuesioner) sekala likert sebagai alat pengumpulan data. Populasi berjumlah 108 mahasiswa dari dua angkatan  prodi Bimbingan dan Konseling dari dua angkatan yakni angkatan 2022-2023, dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 52 responden yang ditentukan menggunakan rumus Slovin dengan tingkat kesalahan 10% agar data yang diperoleh dapat mewakili populasi secara proporsional. Teknis analisis data menggunakan analisis regresi linier sederhana dengan bantuan computer SPSS 25 for windows. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan adanya pengaruh antara media sosial terhadap gaya hidup mahasiswa dengan adanya perubahan pada pandangan, prsepsi, penampilan, sosialisasi, berdasarkan analisis data regresi linear sederhana, menunjukkan ada pengaruh media sosial terhadap gaya hidup mahasiswa diperoleh persamaan regresi Y: 21,306 + 0,829 X dengan perbandingan penaikan kedua variabel secara kuantitatif adalah 1: 43,318 perbandingan ini menunjukkan bahwa apabila terjadi peningkatan satu limit/unit pada variabel Media Sosial (X) maka akan terjadi kenaikan sebesar 0,829 pada variabel Gaya Hidup Mahasiswa (Y). Persamaan regresi tersebut signifikan atau tidak akan diuji dengan menggunakan Fhitung pada taraf signifikan 0,05. Berarti Ha diterima dan Ho ditolak. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada pengaruh media sosial terhadap gaya hidup mahasiswa prodi Bimbingan dan Konseling diterima dan signifikan, hal ini ditunjukkan dengan nilai koefisien regresi (F) sebesar 43,318 dengan signifikan 0,00.

Abstract

This article aims to determine the remorse of teenage perpetrators of premarital sex after being subjected to criminal sanctions. A qualitative approach is used to analyze the perpetrator's self-management and the strategies used to face the next life. The research method uses qualitative methods. Research instruments: Observation and direct interviews were carried out to gather information without giving a traumatic feeling. The research results showed that the perpetrator felt regret and was traumatized by his actions. In conclusion, support from parents, friends and the environment is very necessary in dealing with feelings of trauma and regret due to juvenile delinquency such as premarital sex.

Abstract

This article discusses the excessive anxiety of stabbing perpetrators, especially teenagers who are involved in criminal acts. This research uses a qualitative approach and analyzes changes in attitudes and attitudes towards teenagers involved in murder cases. The article also discusses theories related to juvenile delinquency and feelings of regret. Research methods include observation, interviews, and evaluation. This research focuses on perpetrators of criminal acts of beatings and murders who physically assaulted the victims until they died. The perpetrator experienced excessive anxiety after being arrested and sentenced to prison, and was afraid of intimidation from local residents. This anxiety causes changes in behavior to become closed and anti-social. This study concludes that threats and social sanctions against criminals can cause prolonged fear and regret, as well as changes in behavior to being closed and avoiding other people.

Abstract

This research aims to find out whether Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy counseling can change behavioral patterns in juvenile perpetrators of abuse in LPKA class 2 Tomohon. This study uses a qualitative method. The subjects of this research were teenagers who were involved in cases of peer abuse. The instruments that researchers use to collect and manage data are by using interview techniques and observing subjects. Researchers carried out interview and observation techniques by coming directly to the research site at LPKA class 2 Tomohon to obtain maximum data. The results found in this study indicate that after implementing therapy using the ABC theory in implementing the Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy counseling approach, the researcher observed that the subject experienced changes and was able to differentiate between non-positive thoughts that had been stored and suppressed, thoughts or ideas. These ideas are compared with new thoughts conveyed and suggested by the counselor directly through real examples. Thus, this research is in line with previous research, namely REBT has the potential to change behavior patterns in adolescents, so the author draws the conclusion that REBT is able to change a person's behavior or thought patterns by making decisions in good conditions by thinking about the impact of the actions and behavior they carry out on their own thoughts

Abstract

This research aims to determine the trauma experienced by one of the teenagers at LPAK Class II Tomohon. This research uses a qualitative method with a case study approach. Data collection was carried out by interviews, observation and documentation. The number of research participants was 1 person, namely a high school teenager. In socializing, participants simply interact with people who are not the same age. This research aims to determine the trauma experienced by participants.
