Abstract

Problem solving skills (PSS) are one of the high-level thinking skills that must be possessed by students. This skill will help students apply scientific content to solve problems in real life. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of problem based learning (PBL) models with a radical construktivism module on PSS. Data were collected in February to March 2022. The method in this study used an experimental method with nonrandomized post test only control-group design. This research was conducted in two classes: the experimental class using PBL model learning with radical constructivism module and the control class that only using PBL model learning. The samples were 160 students. The instrument was tests to assess PSS. Data analysis used independent sample t-test to determine effect of PBL model learning with radical constructivism module on PSS. T-test results showed that value sig 0,05. The result showed that students who received PBL model learning and the radical constructivism module obtained significantly better PSS compared to students who only received PBL model learning

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi yang sangat pesat memberikan dampak positif dan negatif bagi dunia pendidikan. Proses pembelajaran saat ini sangat berkaitan dengan pemanfaatan teknologi. Berbagai aplikasi telah diciptakan dan bahkan disediakan secara gratis oleh pemerintah untuk mendukung proses pembelajaran dengan tujuan membuat kegiatan belajar menjadi lebih kreatif, inovatif, dan kritis. Meskipun demikian, pemanfaatan teknologi dalam pembelajaran belum dilakukan secara maksimal, terutama dalam pengembangan media pembelajaran yang dapat membantu proses belajar menjadi lebih menarik serta mendorong kreativitas guru dalam mengajar. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan media pembelajaran berupa flashcard berbasis Augmented Reality, yang dapat digunakan siswa sebagai bahan belajar karena mampu menampilkan materi dalam bentuk 3D. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Research and Development (R&D) dengan model ADDIE, yang meliputi lima tahap Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, dan Evaluation. Flashcard yang telah dikembangkan divalidasi oleh tiga orang validator berdasarkan tiga indikator, yaitu aspek fisik flashcard, kemudahan penggunaan atau akses media, serta aspek bahasa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media flashcard dapat digunakan dengan sedikit revisi pada bagian fisik agar proses pemindaian lebih optimal. Adapun hasil penilaian meliputi aspek fisik (87%), kemudahan penggunaan (87%), dan bahasa (95%). Rerata persentase sebesar 89% menunjukkan bahwa media flashcard sangat valid dan layak digunakan dalam uji skala besar.

Abstract

Background: SD Negeri Rumpet merupakan salah satu sekolah jenjang SD berstatus Negeri yang berada di wilayah Kec. Krung Barona Jaya yang bernomor NSPN 10107447 dan beralamat di Jln. Makam T. Nyak Arief RT. / RW. Kabupaten Aceh Besar. SD Negeri Rumpet didirikan pada tanggal 1 Januari 1970. SD negeri Rumpet mengalami penurunan akreditasi dari yang sebelumnya A menjadi B, hal ini di akibatkan banyak faktor. Tujuan: Kegiatan PKM ini bertujuan untuk memberikan informasi serta pelatihan bagaimana sebuha media pembelajaran digital mampu membantu proses pembelajaran di dalam kelas, bagaimana media pembelajaran digital mampu memotivasi siswa untuk lebih aktif dan kreatif. Metode: Kegiatan PKM ini akan menggunakan 5 tahapan kegiatan yakni Sosialisasi, Pelatihan, Penerapan teknologi, Pendampingan dan evaluasi, serta Keberlanjutan program. Mitra dalam kegiatan PKM ini adalah guru-guru di SD Negeri Rumpet. Hasil: observasi awal dilakukan guna melihat apa yang dibutuhkan dalam proses pembelajaran, dan salah satu kekurangannya adalah belum adanya pelatihan media belajar digital bagi guru-guru, dan banyak dari guru bahkan belum mendengar adanya media belajar melalui aplikasi Esembler Edu. Peningkatan kemampuan mitra terlihat mengalami peningkatan terlihat dari kemampuan awal guru sebelum kegiatan sosialisasi dan pendampingan pengembangan media belajar interaktif dan digital sebesar 68% dan setelah kegiatan sosialisasi terlihat menjadi 90%. Penerapan media belajar Esembler Edu yang telah di design dalam bentuk flash card juga memberikan suasana belajar baru bagi siswa, siswa antusias mengikuti pembelajaran. Kesimpulan: pelatihan dan pengembangan media belajar inyeraktif dan digital memberikan peningkatan pengetahuan dan memberikan motivasi belajar bagi siswa.

Abstract

Differentiated learning is a strategy that customizes learning content, processes, and activities to accommodate the diverse needs of students. It is a key approach for addressing the varied learning styles and abilities within a classroom. This study aims to identify the categories of differentiated learning module design, the implementation of differentiated learning, and the opportunities and challenges faced by teachers. The research uses a qualitative approach with a survey research design. The population consists of all science teachers at SMP Negeri 2 Banda Aceh, totalling five individuals. This study used a total sampling technique. The research parameters include categories of differentiated learning module design, categories of differentiated learning implementation in classroom, and the opportunities and challenges encountered by teachers. Data analysis was conducted using percentage calculations based on Guttman scale scoring. The results show that the science teachers’ differentiated learning modules have an average score of 86%, which falls into the good category. The implementation of differentiated learning reached 96.6%, classified as very good. Teachers viewed differentiated learning as providing opportunities to improve learning outcomes, student engagement, the use of technology, and the development of teacher competencies. However, the obstacles faced included difficulties in adjusting to student needs, limited resources, and unequal access to technology.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to measuring the validity and reliability of scientific literacy test instruments. Scientific literacy test instruments are reviewed from theoretical validity (construct, relevance and clarity), empirical validity, and reliability. This research was conducted using a quantitative approach. Data was collected using a questionnaire and tested to measure the eligibility of the test for use in exams. The scientific literacy test instrument tested for theoretical validity through expert judgment involving three validators. The scientific literacy test instrument is considered valid if it has a content validity coefficient value ≥ 0.667. After being declared theoretically valid, the scientific literacy test instrument was then tested on 100 students. The results of the scientific literacy test instrument trials are then analyzed to determine empirical validity and reliability. The results showed that 26 scientific literacy test instruments were declared theoretically valid with each aspect (construction, relevance and clarity) having a content validity coefficient value of ≥ 0.667. The test instrument is declared empirically valid where each question item has rcount > 0.195 (α=0.05 and n=100). The test instrument was declared reliable with a reliability coefficient value of 0.805 > 0.707.

Abstract

Their self-efficacy or self-confidence, is related to active involvement in solving problems. This belief encourages students to be actively involved in learning and overcoming academic challenges. The solution offered is the application of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model assisted by interactive website-based media. This interactive model and media allow students to be actively involved in learning, to improve their problem-solving skills and strengthen their self-efficacy. The purpose of this study was to analyze the application of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model assisted by interactive media on improving problem-solving skills and self-efficacy of students. This research method uses a quantitative R&D approach. The population in this study was 143 students, with a sample of 72 students in class XI of SMAN 4 Banda Aceh. Data collection in this study used several techniques, namely the test technique (Problem Solving Skills essay questions) and non-test techniques (Self-Efficacy questionnaire). Based on the research results, it is known that there is an influence of the application of the PBL model assisted by interactive media on improving students' problem-solving skills on the reproductive system material at SMAN 4 Banda Aceh and there is a positive relationship between self-efficacy and students' problem-solving skills through the application of the PBL model assisted by media on the reproductive system material at SMAN 4 Banda Aceh.

Abstract

The productivity of okra (Abelmoschus esculentus L.) can be improved through the utilization of locally available organic materials, such as a combination of liquid organic fertilizer (LOF) derived from Leucaena leucocephala leaves and rice husk ash. This research aimed to evaluate the effects of the combination of these two organic inputs on the growth and chlorophyll content of okra plants. The experiment employed a factorial Completely Randomized Design (CRD) 4×4 with two factors: concentration of Leucaena-based LOF (0%, 10%, 20%, and 30%) and dosage of rice husk ash (0%, 5%, 10%, and 15%), each with three replications. Observed parameters included plant height, fresh weight, and total chlorophyll content. The results showed that the LOF treatment, rice husk ash treatment, and their interaction had significant effects (p < 0.05) on all three parameters. The combination of 30% LOF and 15% rice husk ash (A3B3) produced the highest values for plant height (62.53 cm), fresh weight (158.93 g), and total chlorophyll content (25.72 mg/L). These findings indicate that the combined application of LOF and rice husk ash can effectively enhance physiological efficiency and vegetative growth in okra plants.
