The choice of literature as a solution to people's dependence on gadgets and to overcome the level of politeness, because audio-visual literacy offered on electronic devices or social media is deemed unable to produce the expected results as a substitute for text (literary) literacy. This study uses a sociology of literature approach, and uses qualitative research methods. In this study, 10 stories containing social criticism were selected from the collection of stories Dijamin Bukan Sihir by Musmarwan Abdullah. Data collection techniques in this study used document content analysis techniques by reading, recording, and analyzing data. While the data analysis technique in this study uses the Miles and Huberman model, so that the activities in data analysis in this study are data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing/verification. Based on the results of the analysis conducted by the researchers, there are six aspects of social criticism contained in the collection of short stories Dijamin Bukan Sihir by Musmarwan Abdullah, including social criticism of political problems, social criticism of cultural problems, social criticism of economic problems, social criticism of technology problems, social criticism family problems, social criticism of religious issues.

This study aims to analyze the use of Microsoft Sway learning media in learning to write descriptive text with the background of the lack of use of Microsoft Sway in learning and the lack of student motivation. This research is a qualitative research. The subjects in this study were seventh grade students of State Junior High School 2 Kutaluya. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative research method. Data collection techniques in the form of student assignments and learning outcomes of writing descriptive text. The data analysis technique in this research is descriptive analysis. The results of this study are: 1) Before using Microsoft Sway learning media, there are problems with students, namely the lack of student motivation in learning to write descriptive text. This is due to the lack of effective learning media used by teachers. 2) After using Microsoft Sway learning media, students were very enthusiastic about the use of learning media used by teachers (researchers). The results of this study can be said to be effective, because it can increase students' enthusiasm for learning and learning motivation.

This study aims to describe the main character in the novel Gemaya by Risma Ridha Anissa using a literary psychology approach. The theory used is Sigmund Freud's literary psychology theory to analyze the personality structure of the main character and the dynamics of the main character's personality. The research approach used is a non-interactive approach and the research method used is descriptive analysis method. The source of the data in this research is the novel Gemaya by Risma Ridha Anissa. The results of this study are the personality of the main character Gehaya with the instinct of life which is described by motivating others. The death instinct is depicted by the choices of others through the character's attitude. Objective anxiety who experiences anxiety will respond to the real thing in front of him, so that it is described with feelings of panic. Neurotic anxiety that is described through the reaction of only the character of Gemaya to the network that is in his mind or imagination. The moral anxiety contained in the character of Gemaya is in the form of being ungrateful for what is not there and causing feelings of envy.

Research on the analysis of children's language acquisition using Brown's theory is formulated with (1) how is Brown's Mean Length of Utterance (MLU) measured?, and (2) How are the results of the analysis of language acquisition in children 2 years 11 months old using Brown's theory? From the formulation of the problem mentioned above, the objectives of this study are (1) to explain about the Mean Length of Utterance (MLU) measurement according to Brown, and (2) to describe the results of the analysis of language acquisition in children aged 2 years 11 months using Brown's theory. In this study using a descriptive qualitative method and made a child with the age of 2 years 11 months named Ashalin as the subject in this study. From the results of the study, it has been shown that Shalin's language acquisition is in stage II, which means language acquisition is still low because at Shelin's current age, she is 2 years 11 months or 35 months with data obtained in the form of 162 morphemes and 249 utterances.

Banyaknya berita yang dipublikasikan setiap hari membuat adanya rasa keinginan khalayak untuk membaca berita agar mengetahui perkembangan-perkembangan yang terjadi dari hari ke hari. Terkadang berita yang disajikan masih belum tepat penyusunan kalimat dan ejaannya dikarenakan berita harus secepatnya dipublikasikan. Penelitian ini meneliti tentang kesalahan penggunaan ejaan dan penyusunan kalimat yang terdapat di suatu koran elektronik pada situs Jabar Ekspres. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk memperoleh data agar mengetahui bagaimana cara menyusun berita sesuai kaidah ejaan yang disempurnakan serta cara penggunaan kata sehingga wacana berita dapat lebih efektif. Data yang dianalisis ada 4 berita. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif, yaitu peneliti menjelaskan satu per satu data-data yang perlu dianalisis, serta teknik pengumpulan data adalah teknik baca dan catat. Sumber penelitian ini dicari oleh peneliti di internet. Kesalahan ejaan meliputi tanda baca serta huruf kapital, dan kesalahan penyusunan kalimat meliputi kesalahan penggunaan kata sehingga terjadi ketidakefektifan antarklausa pada kalimat, serta kesalahan penempatan kata yang membuat kalimat menjadi tidak efektif dan kurang tepatnya struktur kalimat serta penggunaan kata berimbuhan. Sexual violence cases based on data collected on the kekerasan.kemenpppa.go.id website released the percentage of sexual violence cases that increased significantly from 2021-2023 with an increase in the occurrence of more than 50,000 cases. The increase in cases is not underestimated by the relevant government. One of the government's efforts to prevent cases of sexual violence is by forming a YouTube channel called Note Berkarakter Kemendikbud RI. In 2021, this YouTube channel released a short movie about a female student who experienced indications of sexual violence by her thesis supervisor, in which the movie presents a lot of characterizations, settings, and social conditions to get justice for the case that hit the female student. The relationship between the movie's speech and this study refers to references in the form of pronouns to references (other words) that describe pronouns, nouns, places, situations, to describe a person's position in the social environment. This research is a qualitative research that in the process of analyzing the data does not use numbers and is explained descriptively in the process of conclusion, is not generalization and does not consider significance. which focuses on the use of deiksis analysis theory that explains the characteristics of speech contests in a speech event that is used as an interpretation of the audience, there are four deiksis that can play a role in explaining the characteristics of short movie speech contests, namely persona deiksis, space deiksis, time deiksis, and social deiksis. Based on the results of the analysis of speech in the short movie, four types of deiksis were found and the form of deiksis, namely, persona deiksis consists of first-person persona deiksis, second-person persona deiksis, and third-person persona deiksis, then space deiksis consists of space deiksis with the use of demonstrative pronoun lexemes and the use of localative pronoun lexemes, time deiksis which describes time lexemes with respect to the rotation of the earth, Time deiksis that does not show calendar situations, and time deiksis using temporal conjunctions, and social deiksis that shows a description of a person's habits in describing one's profession, one's title and epithet towards someone.

The research is motivated by the facts that occur in the field, namely the lack of understanding of students in writing personal letters. In addition, there are still many teachers who use conventional learning models, namely lectures without involving students. Thus, researchers want to compare learning models that suit the needs of students, namely Think Pair Share and Student Team Achievement Division. This study aims to examine differences in the increase in the ability to write personal letters using Think Pair Share and Student Team Achievement Division. To answer the problem formulation, the researcher used a quasi-experimental non-equivalent pre-test post-test control group design method. The population in this study was class VII SMPN 1 Cikampek with purposive sampling and two classes were selected, namely class VII-3 (N=40) as the experimental class using the Student Team Achievement Division model and class VII-1 (N=40) as the experimental class. control class using the Think Pair Share model. Based on the results of data processing using SPSS 16 Software for Windows, it can be concluded that the Student Team Achievement Division model is better than Think Pair Share but there is no significant difference in results. It was obtained that the average pre-test scores of the two classes were relatively the same before being given treatment, namely 65.9 for the experimental class and 65.8 for the control class. Then the value of the experimental class post test is worth 82 and the control class is worth 80.7. Furthermore, the N-Gain value for the experimental class is 0.46 and the control class is 0.43. This means that there is no significant difference between the experimental class and the control class. That way the two models are indeed in accordance with the needs of students..

This study aims to describe the form of structure and character education values contained in the novel Sangkakala in Langit Andalusia by Hanum Salsabiela Rais and Rangga Almahendra. This type of qualitative research, with a qualitative descriptive method. The data source used in this research is a novel entitled Sangkakala in Langit Andalusia by Hanum Salsabiela Rais and Rangga Almahendra. The theory used in this research is the structuralism theory of Robert Stanton (2012). The data collection technique used in the study used literature study techniques, reading and note-taking techniques. The data analysis technique used is three steps, namely data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. The results of this study indicate that there are structural forms in the novel, namely there are story facts (in which the plot, characters and characterizations, and setting), themes, story mediums (which contain the title, point of view, and style of language). In addition, the values of character education were also found including: religious values, juju, tolerance, discipline, hard work, creative, independent, democratic, curiosity, national spirit, love of the motherland, respect for achievement, peace-loving, friendly, fond of reading , environmental care, social care, and responsibility.

Penelitian in bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan bagaimana bentuk register, jenis register, dan fungsi register dalam Alternate Universe “Eknath” di Twitter serta pemanfaatannya sebagai bahan ajar teks narasi.Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif. Dengan tujuan untuk mendeskripsikan suatu objek penelitian dalam hal ini berfokus pada bentuk, jenis, fungsi register kedokteran hewan yang terdapat dalam Alternate Universe ”Eknath”.Teknik pengumpulan data melalui simak dan catat dengan data yang bersumber pada Alternate Universe “Eknath” karya @sotogapaketomat itu sendiri yang menyangkut reduksi data, penyajian data serta penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian yang penulis lakukan terdapat sebanyak 90 data penggunaan istilah kedokteran hewan serta adanya bentuk register berupa abreviasi, afiksasi, komposisi dan reduplikasi. empat jenis register yang ditemukan berupa ragam usaha, ragam santai, ragam akrab dan ragam resmi. Serta fungsi register yang ditemukan berdasarkan penelitian ialah fungsi instrumental, fungsi personal, fungsi representasional, dan fungsi interaksional. Dari hasil yang ditemukan penulis memiliki saran kepada peneliti selanjutnya untuk lebih membahasa secara mendalam bentuk, jenis dan fungsi register dari objek yang berbeda.

Tindak tutur ilokusi dalam interaksi talkshow antara pembawa acara dengan bintang tamu mempunyai peranan penting, yaitu sebagai tindakan untuk menyampaikan maksud dan tujuan tuturan. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan jenis dan fungsi tindak tutur ilokusi pada program talkshow yang diantaranya yaitu: Tonight Show Premiere, Kick Andy Show, Mata Najwa, dan Bicara Cinta. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Peneliti menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data, yaitu teknik simak, teknik transkipsi data, dan teknik catat. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini ialah teknik Miles dan Huberman, yakni reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Ada lima jenis tindak tutur ilokusi yaitu ilokusi asertif, ilokusi direktif, ilokusi komisif, ilokusi ekspresif, dan ilokusi deklaratif. Sedangkan fungsi tindak tutur ilokusi terdapat enam fungsi, yakni fungsi tindak tutur asertif memberitahu, membanggakan, dan menyatakan, fungsi tindak tutur direktif menasehati dan larangan, fungsi tindak tutur komisif memanjatkan doa dan menawarkan, fungsi tindak tutur ekspresif bersyukur dan memberi selamat, dan fungsi tindak tutur deklaratif memberi nama.
