Abstract

This study explores the relationships among entrepreneurial self-efficacy (ESE), entrepreneurial intention, and business performance in Village-Owned Enterprises (BUMDes) in Indonesia. Using an explanatory research design and Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with Partial Least Squares (PLS), data from 159 respondents were analyzed to examine the direct and mediated effects of ESE on business performance. Results indicate that ESE significantly influences both entrepreneurial intention and business performance, highlighting the critical role of self-efficacy in fostering entrepreneurial intentions that ultimately enhance the performance of village-owned enterprises. These findings suggest that enhancing ESE can lead to improved business outcomes, providing valuable insights for policymakers and practitioners aiming to support the growth of village-owned enterprises in Indonesia.

Abstract

The food needs of each region can be influenced by various factors, one of the products that has high demand is cooking oil, in the last five years, cooking oil is one of the staple foods needed by the people in Rokan Hulu district. The amount of demand for cooking oil can be measured based on the elasticity of demand for the product. This study aims to determine the factors that affect the elasticity of cooking oil demand in Rokan Hulu district and measure the value of cooking oil demand elasticity in Rokan Hulu. The research method uses the quantitative method with multiple linear regression analysis and elasticity analysis, the data used is secondary data. The results of this study show that 1) The factors that affect the demand for cooking oil in Rokan Hulu district are partially variable bulk oil prices, per capita income and population, while the variables of packaged oil prices and egg prices have no influence on cooking oil demand in Rokan Hulu district. Simultaneously, all variables have an influence on the demand for cooking oil in Rokan Hulu district. The value of determination shows that 99.6% of oil demand is influenced by all independent variables2) The elasticity of demand for cooking oil in Rokan Hulu district consists of price elasticity, namely the price of bulk cooking oil and packaged cooking oil is inelastic, income elasticity, namely per capita income is inelastic, cross elasticity, namely the population is inferior elastic and the price of chicken eggs is inelastic. Keywords: Cooking Oil Price, Population, Income, Chicken Egg Price, Demand Elasticity

Abstract

One of the supports for effective communication is the use of learning media. However, currently we don't find many interactive Arabic language learning media that are developed from computer programs and especially those based on Android which we usually know as Android Based Learning (ABL).This article aims to develop mobile learning-based learning media, namely interactive application based learning media. This learning media facilitates students to improve Arabic learning outcomes, and can produce interesting learning and can increase students' learning motivation. The results of this study after going through the assessment of the material aspect validator and the media aspect validator concluded that learning media designed based on Android using the MIP App Inventor application are suitable for use as alternative media for learning Arabic.

Abstract

This research aims to explore the strategies of BMM and BSI Maslahat in optimizing accountability and transparency in digital waqf instruments. This research uses a qualitative approach with two case studies, where the data collected is then analyzed using the Miles, Huberman, and Saldana modeling technique with the help of the NVivo 12 application. Using the Theory of sharia governance as a grand Theory, this research produces findings on the strategies carried out by both institutions in optimizing accountability and transparency, namely: conducting regular independent audits, forming an independent oversight committee, implementing the Waqf Core Principles (WCP), providing an online platform, involving all stakeholders, providing open financial reports on the website, and implementing a blockchain-based reporting system. By exploring and analyzing institutional strategies for accountability and transparency in waqf management through digital waqf instruments, this research can provide new insights into understanding the growing phenomenon of waqf fund management. In addition, the results of this study can be utilized by the general public as information that can be utilized by the general public as information that can increase public trust and participation in giving cash waqf. Therefore, this research argues that strengthening accountability and transparency will optimize digital waqf fundraising instruments to encourage the growth of waqf in Indonesia

Abstract

This study aimed to develop an IoT-based data logger prototype to improve data acquisition and monitoring during the sterilization process. Achieving an adequate heat sufficiency value, commonly known as the F0 value, was crucial for effective sterilization, and a thermocouple sensor was typically employed for temperature recording. The research involved designing, constructing, and testing the prototype with a focus on enhancing durability and functionality. Key improvements included adding waterproof sealants to prevent leakage, integrating connectors for enhanced connectivity, and coating the sensor's connector end to ensure long-term performance. Performance evaluation compared the improved IoT data logger with a conventional data logger in terms of heat penetration measurement. Results showed that the IoT prototype recorded heat penetration data with comparable accuracy to the conventional system, confirming its reliability for practical application. The bias for the difference was less than 10%. This innovation demonstrated the potential for improved monitoring in sterilization processes, contributing to enhanced process control and product safety.

Abstract

Abstract

Effective animal waste management remains a persistent challenge in rural communities, often resulting in environmental degradation and economic inefficiencies. This community service program aims to empower local farmers and livestock keepers by promoting the conversion of animal waste (kohe) into organic fertilizer, thereby supporting sustainable and economically viable agricultural practices. Employing a Community-Based Research (CBR) approach, the program incorporated participatory training, technology transfer, and hands-on composting activities to build community capacity in organic fertilizer production. Data were collected through structured surveys, in-depth interviews, and laboratory analysis to assess improvements in knowledge, fertilizer quality, and economic outcomes. The results indicate a significant enhancement in participants’ understanding of waste management, with 75% demonstrating readiness to adopt the technology. Laboratory tests confirmed that the produced organic fertilizer met established quality standards, contributing to reduced reliance on chemical inputs, lower production costs, and improved soil fertility. Furthermore, the initiative stimulated local economic resilience by fostering new agribusiness opportunities. In conclusion, the CBR-driven model effectively integrates environmental sustainability with economic empowerment, offering a scalable and replicable strategy for community-led agricultural development.
