Abstract

This study aims to analyze the attitude of Central Aceh society towards religious differences. Central Aceh is a region with significant religious diversity, with the majority of the population adhering to Islam. However, religious differences can also be found within the Central Aceh society, such as Christianity, Hinduism, and Buddhism. This study employs a quantitative approach by collecting data through a survey conducted among 300 respondents representing the Central Aceh community. The survey instrument used is a reliable measurement scale of tolerance attitudes. The obtained data were analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistical methods. The analysis results show that, overall, the Central Aceh society exhibits a relatively high level of tolerance towards religious differences. The majority of respondents express respect for the right of every individual to choose and practice their own religion. However, there are several interesting findings regarding the factors influencing tolerance attitudes. Factors such as education, interreligious interaction experiences, and understanding of human rights significantly influence the tolerance attitudes of the Central Aceh society. This research contributes significantly to the understanding of tolerance attitudes in the Central Aceh community and provides insights for stakeholders, including the government and educational institutions, in developing programs that promote more inclusive and respectful tolerance attitudes among communities with different religious backgrounds. The policy implications derived from this research are expected to enhance harmony and inter-religious coexistence in Central Aceh, as well as foster sustainable social development processes.

Abstract

RA Bintang Zuhra Takengon is one of the schools in the central region of Aceh, Indonesia, with the address Kampung Pinangan, Kebayakan District. Literacy is a combination of the ability to read, think and write. These skills are applied when interacting with other parties in various contexts. The problems that occur, especially at RA Bintang Zuhra Takengon, are that there are still some children who have difficulty in reading skills, namely memorizing letters, recognizing letters and distinguishing letters. The aim of the author is to see how children improve in their reading abilities, namely memorizing letters, recognizing letters and distinguishing letters. The purpose of this research is to improve children's literacy skills at RA Bintang Zuhra Takengon. This research uses a qualitative descriptive method to see where children make mistakes in recognizing early childhood reading and writing literacy. The subjects were taken randomly based on the categories Not Yet Developing (BB, Starting to Develop (MB), Developing According to Expectations (BSH) and Developing Very Well (BSB). Determination of the three assessment categories was carried out by giving tests to 13 children. Results and conclusions of this research was the first meeting with a result of 30.77% in the BSB-BSH category, MB category 23.08%, BB 46.15%. The second meeting was 30.77% in the BSB-BSH category, MB category 30.77%, BB 38.46. %. The third meeting of the children's BSB-BSH score category was 53.84%, the MB category was 15.39%, and the BB score category was 30.77%.

Abstract

Perubahan garis pantai terjadi secara dinamis seiring waktu yang berdampak buruk terhadap wilayah pesisir. Kabupaten Kutai Kartanegara merupakan daerah pengembangan IKN yang beberapa wilayahnya berada di pesisir salah satunya adalah Kecamatan Samboja. Terdapat 8 Desa/Kelurahan di Kecamatan Samboja yang memiliki wilayah pesisir dan berbatasan langsung dengan laut yaitu Desa/Kelurahan Kampung Lama, Handil Baru, Sanipah, Teluk Pemedas, Samboja Kuala, dan Tanjung Harapan. Tujuan dari pengabdian ini yaitu mensosialisasikan hasil monitoring perubahan garis pantai dan laju luasan akresi dan abrasi pada periode Tahun 2000-2022 serta tindakan-tindakan preventif dalam menejemen pesisir kepada pemerintah setempat. Penggunaan metode pengeinderaan jauh adalah salah satu cara memonitoring perubahan garis pantai dan telah diterapkan sebelumnya. Data yang digunakan yaitu data sekunder berupa data citra satelit Tahun 2000 dan 2022. Pengolahan data garis pantai dilakukan dengan memanfaatkan citra Landsat 8-9 OLI/TIRS dan citra Landsat 7 ETM+. Teknik yang digunakan untuk penentuan garis pantai pesisir Kecamatan Samboja yaitu teknik analisis overlay. Adapun proses pemisahan antara wilayah permukaan bukan air (daratan) dengan wilayah badan air (laut) menggunakan metode Normalized Difference Water Index (NDWI). Pengabdian ini diharapkan mampu memberikan informasi kepada masyarakat di wilayah pengabdian sehingga dapat mengantisipasi bencana/kerusakan pesisir pantai serta dapat dijadikan acuan dalam pengembangan dan perencanaan yang berkelanjutan khususnya dalam pembangunan wilayah pengembangan IKN baru wilayah pesisir.

Abstract

Kemajemukan masyarakat Indonesia yang kaya akan budaya dan agama menjadikan pendidikan multikultural sebagai sebuah keniscayaan dalam rangka mengajarkan para peserta didik untuk memahami, menghargai, dan merayakan perbedaan. Dengan nilai-nilai toleransi, inklusivitas, dan keadilan sosial, pendidikan multikultural membantu menciptakan masyarakat yang lebih inklusif, toleran, dan siap menghadapi tantangan kompleks yang dihadapi oleh Indonesia saat ini. Pengabdian ini dilaksanakan melalui tiga tahapan penting, yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan diskusi, dengan tujuan utama untuk menyebarkan praktik terbaik Pendidikan Islam Multikultural. Peserta yang terlibat dalam pengabdian ini mencakup para guru dari lingkungan madrasah di wilayah Aceh Tengah, mahasiswa, dan kalangan umum yang tertarik dengan isu pendidikan multikultural. Narasumber utama dalam webinar ini adalah Dr. Hepi Ikmal, M. Pd. I, yang membahas peran Pendidikan Islam Multikultural dalam proses deradikalisasi mantan narapidana teroris, serta Dr. Muhammad Riza, MA, yang mengulas Pendidikan Islam Multikultural di Dayah dalam konteks resolusi konflik di Aceh. Hasil dari pengabdian ini memberikan wawasan yang berharga bagi para peserta mengenai bagaimana Pendidikan Islam mampu mengimplementasikan nilai-nilai pendidikan multikultural dalam rangka menciptakan kerukunan dalam masyarakat. Diskusi dalam webinar juga memberikan ruang bagi partisipan untuk berbagi pandangan dan pengalaman mereka. Dengan demikian, pengabdian ini membantu mempromosikan pemahaman yang lebih baik tentang pentingnya pendidikan multikultural dalam mencapai harmoni dan kerukunan dalam masyarakat Indonesia yang beragam.

Abstract

Persaingan produk atau jasa dalam satu pasar semakin banyak dan beragam akibat keterbukaan pasar, sehingga perusahaan dituntut bersaing secara kompetitif dalam hal strategi bisnis untuk mencapai tujuan perusahaan serta memahami apa yang terjadi dipasar dan apa yang menjadi keinginan konsumennya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa variabel promosi memiliki pengaruh yang positif signifikan terhadap kepuasan nasabah di BSI KCP Kutacane dalam memilih menabung Easy Wadhi’ah. Dimana perhitungan uji secara parsial diperoleh t hitung sebesar 11,489 dengan nilai signifikan 0,000 < 0,005. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan 77,4% kepuasan nasabah dipengaruhi oleh promosi, kualitas produk dan pelayanan, berarti 22,6% kupuasan nasabah dalam memilih menabung di BSI KCP Kutacane dipengaruhi oleh variabel-variabel lain yang tidak diteliti dalam penelitian ini.

Abstract

Historical developments in the prohibition of alcohol in Aceh refer to Islamic Sharia which firmly and clearly prohibits and forbids alcohol for all Muslims. Because one of the maqashids of Sharia is to maintain reason, Islamic Sharia strictly prohibits this. The prohibition on alcohol is sharia in the Al-Qur'an and Hadith. The punishment in Aceh is to implement Islamic Sharia as a whole (kaffah), by applying Islamic Sharia in various aspects of life, including in this case applying the punishment of caning to perpetrators of the crime of drinking wine. Caning is used as a crime with the aim of fostering and educating perpetrators to be aware and regret their actions and also as a lesson (tadabbur) to society so that they do not commit the same actions.

Abstract

This article aims to shed light on Abu's (a Dayah leader in Aceh) paradigm and strategy in reorienting Islamic education inside the dayah educational framework in the last two decades. Even now, the Acehnese people's socio-religious life still accepts and includes the traditional Islamic educational institution known as dayah. However, Dayah must adapt to the dynamics of the changing times to ensure its graduates to participate more fully in society. The Dayah in West-South and East-North coasts of Aceh are the subjects of this qualitative study using a multi-site case study. They are Dayah Asasul Islamiyah in East Aceh, Dayah Madinatuddiniyah Nurul Huda in North Aceh, Dayah Madinatuddiniyah Darul 'Ulumiddin in Southwest Aceh, and Dayah Darussalam Labuhan Haji in South Aceh. The research data was gathered through purposeful-snowballing in-depth interviewing techniques with a variety of informants, including Abu as the dayah's leader. After that, the data is processed using interactive analytic procedures, which include condensing, presenting, and concluding. According to the study's findings, Aceh's dayah leaders' (Abu) paradigm has shifted from being exclusive and orthodox to being inclusive and flexible during the dayah's current period of development. Abstract

This research aims to generate integrated mathematics questions aligned with the Islamic values at al mawarits, enabling an examination of the correlation between fraction material in mathematics and the knowledge of mawarits. The research type employed is development utilizing the Teesmer model, consisting of four development stages: the preliminary stage (preparation), the self-evaluation stage (analysis and design), the prototyping stage (validation, revision, evaluation), and the field test stage. The research was conducted at a private junior high school. The results of this study indicate in terms of question difficulty (1 difficult, 6 moderate, and 3 easy questions). For item discrimination, 2 questions are very good, 6 questions are good, and 1 question is moderate. Moreover, regarding the validity level, the developed integrated mathematics questions with Islamic values of al mawarits obtained a validity score of 0.90 and a reliability score of 0.92, indicating that the developed questions are reliable.

Abstract

The development of a computer-based information system aims to replace the inefficient manual system in managing student data. This system was designed using Microsoft Visual BASIC 6.0 and Microsoft Access 2007 to enhance the accuracy, efficiency, and effectiveness of the student registration process. The methodology includes needs analysis, system design, implementation, and user training phases. The results indicate that the new system significantly reduces data processing time, improves information retrieval speed, and minimizes the risk of manual errors. The system comprises modules for data input, report management, and data validation, tailored to meet the professional needs of educational institutions. Flowcharts were utilized to visualize system workflows, facilitating validation processes and ensuring the feasibility of the design. The implementation of this information system enables educational institutions to optimize student data management in a more structured and reliable manner. This study confirms that the application of information technology in education has a significant impact on operational efficiency and effectiveness, providing solutions to challenges encountered in previous manual systems.

Abstract

The Flooding remains one of the most challenging natural disasters, causing widespread damage and disruption across urban and rural areas. As the frequency and intensity of floods increase due to climate change and urbanization, there is a growing need for effective flood management systems. This paper presents the development of a **Smart Anti-Flooding System (SAFS)** simulator designed to enhance hands-on learning for university students, particularly in engineering, disaster management, and environmental science programs. The SAFS integrates sensors, microcontrollers, pumps, and photovoltaic (PV) panels into an autonomous flood management system, offering students the opportunity to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and real-world application. The simulator monitors water levels using ultrasonic and level sensors, while controlling pumps and servo motors based on real-time data, enabling automatic water redirection in flood-prone areas. Powered by renewable energy, the system incorporates sustainability into flood management, making it a relevant tool for both education and disaster resilience. This paper highlights the SAFS's integration into university curricula, the learning outcomes achieved, and feedback from students who used the system. The results indicate that the simulator significantly enhances students' practical skills, fosters collaboration, and promotes a deeper understanding of disaster management through experiential learning
