Abstract

Abstract : This study is aims at describe learning outcomes student process skills through application starter experiment approach on the subject matter of Newton's law in class VIII Junior High School Satu Atap Tambang. Subjects numbered 33 student of class VIII Junior High School Satu Atap Tambang consisting of 15 male and 18 female. This research is a form of pre-experimental design the one-shot case study. The research instrument used in the form of process skill achievement test. Results learning process skills studied cover the aspects of skill to experiment, observe the skills, the skills of hypothesis, concluding skills and skills acquired implementing the concept. The results showed an average result of learning skills of the students 73.42% in both categories. Thus, the implementation of Starter Experiment Approach effectiveapplied to practice the skills of the class VIII Junior High School Satu Atap Tambang.Keywords : Starter Experiment Approach, process skills, Newton's Law.

Abstract

Abstract: This study was aimed to determine the improvement of students' concept understanding by the application of scaffolding learning strategy. The type of this study was quasy experiment with intact group comparison design. The population in this study were the X grade students of SMA Negeri 12 Pekanbaru which consisted of 4 classes. 2 classes were chosen as the sample of study as experiment and control class based on normality and homogenity tests. The data was collected by giving the test of concept understanding which were consisted of 7 questions based on the indicators of concept understanding. The data was analized by descriptive and inferential analysis. The result of this study showed that there was a significant difference toward the ability of concept understanding between control class which was applied scaffolding learning strategy and control class which was taugh by conventional learning. The concept understanding of experiment class' students were higher than control class. It can be concluded that the scaffolding learning strategy could improve the students' concept understanding.Keywords: Scaffolding learning stategy, concept understanding, momentum, impulse and collision.

Abstract

Abstract: The low level of scientific attitude possessed by some students also to low learning outcomes obtained by these students. This study aims to determine the improvement of students scientific attitude on physics learning at SMK Labor Binaan FKIP UR Pekanbaru by using accelerated learning type MASTER. This research Quasi Experimental Desaign with experimental class XI TKJ 17 men and 5 women, control class XI RPL 19 men and 7 women. This data is collected by giving a scientific attitude questionnaire where there are 4 indicators of scientific attitude studied are: 1. Curiosity attitude, 2. Critical thinking attitude, 3. Open thinking attitude, 4. Attitude honest. Data were analyzed descriptively. The average result of the pretest experimental class score was 70.70 and the posttest result was 79.33. Increased with the medium N-Gain category. While the average score of pretest control class score of 72.20 and posttest result of 75.34. Increased with low N-Gain category. Test t on pretest obtained tcount <ttabel that is -0.72 <2.01, can be interpreted there is no difference of scientific attitude of initial experiment class and control, t test on posttest got tcount> ttable that is 3.61> 2.01, can be interpreted there is a difference in the final scientific attitude of experimental class and control. Based on the results obtained, it can be concluded that there is a significant influence of model accelerated learning type MASTER on students scientific attitude on temperature and heat materials in class XI SMK Labor Binaan FKIP UR Pekanbaru Keywords: Model Accelerated Learning Type MASTER, scientific attitude, temperature and heat material.

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this study to find out the effectiveness of learning model CLIS assisted by student worksheet based on cartoon concept to descrease 2nd grade student’s misconception about light concept in SMPN 3 Pariaman trough remedied process. The study method use pre-experimental design with one group pre-test post-test design. A total 32 students were selected as subject. The data collection used 15 item that represent 5 light concepts. Finding revealed the decline of a total student have misconception each concept about 52% and 55% for the decline of a total misconception each student. The effect size of this study attain a hight result d = 1,59. With the result, CLIS method assisted by LKPD Concept Cartoon effective to remedied 2nd grade student’s misconception about light concept in SMPN 3 Pariaman.Key Words : Misconception, Remedied, Children Learning In Science, Light

Abstract

ABSTRACTThe purpose of this study was to develop a sea water purifier and test the validity of a sea water purifier so that it can be used as a medium for high school physics learning on global warming material. The development model carried out is the ADDIE model. The ADDIE model consists of Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation. The data obtained in the form of qualitative and quantitative data. Qualitative data is used to obtain the value of preliminary analysis and validation of tools used in learning. Quantitative data is used to obtain empirical test values by comparing the results of measuring tools made with standard measuring instruments. Based on the results of the empirical test, it was found that the fresh water produced by the developed seawater purifier has good quality because it meets water standards that are suitable for consumption. Based on the research conducted, it was found that the average fresh water produced was 50.33 mL from 1 liter of seawater which was dried for 6 hours per day, and the decrease in salt content of seawater after using this seawater purifier that utilized solar power was 100%. . Based on the results of expert validation which refers to the functionality of the tool, learning elements, ease of use, aesthetics and construction of the tool, the average value of the validity index is 3.78 with a very high category. So it can be concluded that the developed seawater purifier is valid and can be used as a medium for learning Physics on global warming material.Keywords: sea water purifier, learning media, global warming.ABSTRAK Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengembangkan alat pemurni air laut dan menguji validitas alat pemurni air laut agar dapat digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran Fisika SMA pada materi pemanasan global. Model pengembangan yang dilakukan adalah model ADDIE. Model ADDIE terdiri dari Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation dan Evaluation. Data yang diperoleh berupa data kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Data kualitatif digunakan untuk mendapatkan nilai analisis pendahuluan dan validasi alat yang digunakan dalam pembelajaran. Data kuantitatif digunakan untuk memperoleh nilai uji empiris dengan membandingkan hasil ukur alat yang dibuat dengan alat ukur yang sudah standard. Berdasarkan hasil uji empiris diperoleh bahwa bahwa air tawar yang dihasilkan oleh alat pemurni air laut yang dikembangkan memiliki kualitas yang baik karena memenuhi standar air yang layak dikonsumsi. Berdasarkan  penelitian yang dilakukan, diperoleh rata-rata air tawar yang dihasilkan 50,33 mL dari 1 liter air laut yang dijemur selama 6 jam per harinya, dan   penurunan kadar garam air laut  setelah menggunakan alat pemurni air laut yang memanfaatkan tenaga surya ini sebesar 100%. Berdasarkan hasil validasi pakar  yang mengacu pada keberfungsian alat, unsur pembelajaran, kemudahan penggunaan, estetika dan konstruksi alat diperoleh nilai rata-rata indeks validitas  3,78 dengan kategori sangat tinggi, sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa alat pemurni air laut yang dikembangkan bernilai valid dan dapat digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran Fisika pada materi pemanasan global.Kata kunci: alat pemurni air laut, media pembelajaran, pemanasan global.

Abstract

Abstract: Creative problem solving ability is a process, method, or system for approaching problems imaginatively and producing effective actions. The ability to suppress various alternative ideas and ideas to seek various possible actions at each step of the problem solving process. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the Search, Solve, Create, and share learning model, its impact on students' creative problem solving abilities. The research was conducted on class VII students of SMP Negeri 1 Kubu on temperature and heat. The classes taken were class VII.1 with a total of 22 students and class VII.2 with a total of 22 students where the two classes consisted of an experimental class and a control class. The data collection instrument was a test on the results of the ability to solve creative problem solving on class VII heat and temperature material which consisted of 12 objective questions. This type of research is a quasi-experimental design with a Posttest Only Non-equivalent Control Group Design. The independent sample t-test with the help of SPSS version 23 shows that the Search, Solve, Create and Share model has an effect on students' creative problem solving abilities. The creative problem solving abilities of the experimental class students were better than the control class. Furthermore, the average value of the experimental class was 67.77 and that of the control class was 56.03. These results indicate that the Search, Solve, Create and Share learning model is effective on students' creative problem solving abilities, with the good category.Keyword: Model Search, Solve, Create and Share, Creative Problem Solving Abilities, Temperature and Heat.

Abstract

Abstract : Physics is a subject that is less attractive to high school students in general, this is due to the lack of applications of physics in everyday life, especially in the matter of equilibrium and rotational dynamics. Therefore, the purpose of this study was to develop a video lesson on the subject of equilibrium and class rotation dynamics using a valid Adobe Flash application. The type of research used is Research and Development (R&D) using the ADDIE model which consists of five stages, namely: analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation. At the analysis stage, several analyzes were carried out including needs analysis, curriculum analysis, and material analysis. At the design stage, the researcher designs a learning video according to the results of the analysis that has been done previously, and designs a validation sheet according to the research aspects. At the development stage, media development in the form of learning videos was carried out to the validation stage. The data obtained in the form of the average validation results of three validators. The results of the second stage of validation on all questions in each aspect have received a minimum score of 3. The results showed that the learning video on equilibrium material and class rotation dynamics using the Adobe Flash application met the valid criteria from the content aspect, the learning media aspect, and the linguistic aspect. So it can be concluded that the learning video on equilibrium material and class rotation dynamics using the Adobe Flash application is valid and feasible to use in the learning process.Key words: Learning Video, Adobe Flash, Equilibrium and Rotation Dynamics

Abstract

Abstract : The purpose of this study is to analyze the need to develop a teaching materialneeded in learning, namely e-module based problem solving on projectile motion materialfor class X SMA/MA. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method that is orientedtowards the development of a product. The subjects in this study were students of class XlSMA in the city of Pekanbaru. The data collection instrument uses a questionnaire viaGoogle Form. Then the needs analysis questionnaire filled by respondents as many as 100students, it was found that students were generally passive during the learning process.Students enjoy participating in learning that involves them actively, such as conductingexperiments. Students feel uninterested in learning if they only listen to the teacher'sexplanation, without involving their active participation. Students also feel happy if thereare learning resources that can utilize Android or IT so that the learning materials areinteractive. Then students also expect a learning process that makes them active inparticipating in learning activities. Meanwhile, for material that is considered difficult bystudents in the classroom X is parabolic motion material. Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk merinci bagaimana metode ilmiah digunakan dalam Ilmu KIT untuk lebih menjelaskan bagaimana membantu siswa memahami ide-ide kunci. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain eksperimen semu dengan posttest only control group. Populasi penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 1 Bagan Sinembah Raya Tahun Pelajaran 2022/2023, dan peneliti mengambil dari dua kelas untuk mengumpulkan sampelnya sebanyak 43 peserta: kelas VII-1 sebagai kelompok kontrol, dengan jumlah 21 peserta, sedangkan kelas VII-2 sebagai kelompok eksperimen dengan jumlah peserta 22 orang. Instrumen pengumpulan data berupa tes pemahaman pengukuran materi yang terdiri dari 21 soal pilihan ganda yang awalnya divalidasi menggunakan SPSS kemudian dinilai reliabilitasnya dengan KR 21. Analisis deskriptif dilakukan dengan menghitung skor rata-rata pada serangkaian pertanyaan yang dirancang untuk mengukur pengetahuan konseptual siswa; analisis inferensial dilakukan dengan menggunakan uji normalitas, uji homogenitas, dan uji hipotesis; dan perangkat lunak SPSS 23 digunakan untuk semua analisis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan nilai rata-rata pemahaman konsep siswa pada kelas eksperimen (KIT IPA) lebih tinggi dari pada kelas kontrol, dan terdapat perbedaan yang cukup besar antara kelas eksperimen dan kelas eksperimen yang menggunakan KIT IPA, hal ini menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran lebih berhasil. Lingkungan yang diatur secara metodologis dan teratur di mana praktik pedagogis tradisional digunakan.

Abstract

Abstract The research was conducted to obtain products in the form of e-modules with the E-PUB format which were made using the sigil application on quantum phenomena material for class XII SMA. E-module with sigil application supports text, images, audio and video. This e-module learns about black body radiation, photoelectric effect, Compton effect and x-ray. The research method adopted the Research and Development (R&D) method with the ADDIE model. The ADDIE model is divided into five stages, namely analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation. This research was conducted from the analysis, design to development stages. The data source was obtained from the scores of the questionnaire assessment results in the form of a checklist filled in by 3 expert validators. There are 4 aspects of the assessment carried out by the validator, namely aspects of content feasibility, linguistic aspects, presentation aspects and graphical aspects. The data obtained shows that the content feasibility aspect gets a score of 3.55 getting a very high category, the linguistic aspect has a score of 3.49 getting a high category, the presentation aspect has a score of 3.66 getting a very high category, and the graphical aspect has a score of 3.33 getting high category. So that the total average score of all aspects is 3.51 with a very high category. The conclusion from this study is that the e-module using the sigil application on quantum phenomena material for class XII SMA is valid and feasible to carry out for further research, namely the field trial stage, namely the implementation stage.
