Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran kemampuan penalaran matematis siswa dalam pemecahan masalah berdasarkan kemampuan awal. Subjek penelitian sebanyak 2 siswa pada kategori kemampuan awal sedang Kelas VII.4 UPT SMP Negeri 4 Dua Pitue. Instrumen utama adalah peneliti, instrumen pendukung adalah tes tertulis dan pedoman wawancara. Pengujian keabsahan data menggunakan triangulasi sumber. Indikator kemampuan penalaran matematis yang digunakan, yaitu (1) Menyajikan pernyataan matematika secara lisan, tertulis, gambar ataupun diagram; (2) Melakukan manipulasi matematika; (3) Menarik kesimpulan; (4) Menyusun bukti, memberikan alasan atau bukti terhadap kebenaran solusi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dari 2 soal: siswa dengan kategori kemampuan awal sedang belum optimal. Siswa pada tahap memahami masalah: mampu memenuhi indikator ketiga. Tahap merencanakan pemecahan masalah: mampu memenuhi indikator pertama. Tahap melaksanakan rencana: mampu memenuhi indikator pertama, kedua, ketiga, tetapi ketiga indikator tersebut belum mampu dipenuhi pada soal nomor 2. Tahap memeriksa kembali pemecahan yang diperoleh: mampu memenuhi indikator pertama, kedua, keempat, tetapi ketiga indikator tersebut belum mampu dipenuhi pada soal nomor 2 karena ketidaktahuan siswa

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah menganalisis kemampuan penalaran dalam memecahkan masalah dimensi tiga ditinjau dari self-regulated learning siswa dengan menggunakan jenis penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan pendekatan deskriptif. Subjek penelitian sebanyak 6 siswa, yaitu 2 siswa dengan kategori self-regulated learning tinggi, 2 siswa kategori self-regulated learning sedang, dan 2 siswa kategori self-regulated learning rendah. Keenam subjek tersebut adalah siswa kelas XII MAN 3 Bone tahun ajaran 2024/2025. Instrumen dalam penelitian ini adalah angket, tes kemampuan penalaran dan pedoman wawancara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Subjek kategori self-regulated learning tinggi mampu memenuhi semua indikator kemampuan penalaran matematis yaitu mampu mengajukan dugaan dengan relevan dan jelas, mampu melakukan manipulasi dengan benar, mampu memberikan alasan yang mendukung solusi, mampu menarik kesimpulan dengan relevan dan jelas, mampu melakukan pemeriksaan kesahihan secara menyeluruh dan mampu menemukan pola atau sifat dari gejala matematis yang tepat. Subjek melakukan setiap langkah pemecahan masalah yaitu memahami permasalahan pada soal, menyusun rencana penyelesaian dengan benar, melaksanakan rencana penyelesaian hingga menemukan solusi dari pertanyaan dan memeriksa kembali solusi yang didapatkan. (2) Subjek kategori self-regulated learning sedang memenuhi 4 dari 6 indikator kemampuan penalaran matematis kecuali indikator memberikan alasan yang mendukung solusi dan menemukan pola atau sifat dari gejala matematis yang tepat. Kedua subjek melakukan setiap langkah pemecahan masalah yaitu memahami permasalahan pada soal, menyusun rencana penyelesaian dengan benar, melaksanakan rencana penyelesaian hingga menemukan solusi dari pertanyaan dan memeriksa kembali solusi yang didapatkan. (3) Subjek kategori self-regulated learning rendah memenuhi 3 dari 6 indikator kemampuan penalaran matematis kecuali indikator memberikan alasan yang mendukung solusi, melakukan pemeriksaan kesahihan secara menyeluruh dan menemukan pola atau sifat dari gejala matematis yang tepat. Kedua subjek melakukan 3 dari 4 langkah pemecahan masalah kecuali pada langkah memeriksa kembali.

Abstract

Beragam permasalahan yang dialami siswa dalam menyelesaikan masalah teorema phytagoras dengan memuat literasi matematis. Oleh karena itu, kami berupaya melakukan penyelidikan tentang kemampuan literasi matematika siswa pada konten space and shape materi teorema phytagoras ditinjau dari adversity quotient. Subjek penelitian ini sebanyak tiga orang siswa yang dipilih menggunakan Teknik purposive. Instrumen dalam penelitian ini terdiri atas instrumen utama, yaitu peneliti, dan instrumen pendukung meliputi angket adversity quotient, tes literasi matematika, dan pedoman wawancara. Teknik analisis data meliputi kondensasi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) subjek dengan adversity quotient tipe quitter mampu memenuhi proses literasi matematika employ (menerapkan) pada indikator menerapkan rancangan model matematika untuk menemukan solusi matematika.; (2) subjek dengan adversity quotient tipe camper mampu memenuhi proses literasi matematika merumuskan (formulate) dan menerapkan (employ). Pada proses merumuskan (formulate), subjek mampu memenuhi indikator mengidentifikasi aspek-aspek matematika dalam permasalahan yang terdapat pada konteks nyata serta mengidentifikasi variabel yang penting. Pada proses menerapkan (employ) subjek mampu memenuhi indikator menerapkan rancangan model matematika untuk menemukan solusi matematika; (3) subjek dengan adversity quotient tipe climber mampu memenuhi proses literasi matematika merumuskan (formulate), menerapkan (employ) dan menafsirkan (interpret). Pada proses merumuskan (formulate), subjek mampu memenuhi indikator mengidentifikasi aspek-aspek matematika dalam permasalahan yang terdapat pada konteks nyata serta mengidentifikasi variabel yang penting. Pada proses menerapkan (employ) subjek mampu memenuhi indikator menerapkan rancangan model matematika untuk menemukan solusi matematika. Pada proses menafsirkan (interpret) subjek mampu memenuhi indikator menafsirkan hasil matematika yang diperoleh dan mengevaluasi kewajaran solusi matematika dalam konteks masalah dunia nyata.

Abstract

A mosque is a place of worship for Muslims that emphasizes the concept of Rahmatan Lil Alamin, meaning to bring blessings to all people. Based on this statement, a mosque serves as a safe and comfortable space for performing ritual prayers and as a venue for accommodating social activities for its congregants. The function of mosques evolves, especially during the month of Ramadan. It becomes more active and serves various purposes beyond prayers, including religious, political, economic, educational, commercial, social, and cultural activities. All of these activities aim to foster social interaction among Muslim communities. This research aims to uncover the behavior and movements of worshippers during both Salat ritual and non-Salat activities within mosque spaces. The study focuses on Al-Lathiif Mosque in Bandung, known for its vibrant young community, which engages in diverse and active activities. The steps taken to achieve the research objectives are as follows: (1) Identifying the indicators to reveal social sustainability through literature studies; (2) Mapping the behavior of congregants and the utilization of mosque spaces during Salat activities; (3) Mapping the behavior of congregants and the utilization of mosque spaces during non-Salat activities; (4) Distributing questionnaires related to social sustainability indicators regarding space utilization in the mosque; (4) Concluding the application of social sustainability concepts in mosque spaces. The analysis results reveal that social sustainability is optimally achieved in the flexibility of spaces in a mosque.

Abstract

The aims of this study are to reveal errors in structuring tenses and to find out errors of surface structures committed by Islamic Higher Education Students of Universitas Sains Alquran, Wonosobo. Subject of the study is 28 students of Islamic Relegion Education Study Program of Tarbiyah Sciences and Teacher Training Faculty of Universitas Sains Alquran, Wonosobo in the first semester of the 2018/2019 Academic Year. Data collecting was conducted through written work instruments. In analyzing the data, the writer reads the data sources, indentifies the errors, classifies them, and especially for tense errors, the writer adds the step of data analysis, namely calculating the errors to find the percentage. The results convey that with regard to tense aspects, the student errors involve simple present 13,54%, present progressive 30,2%, present perfect 28,64%, and present perfect progressive tense 27,6%. Then, with regard to surface structures, the factors of errors committed are omission, addition, misformation, and misordering.

Abstract

This study employs a pre-experimental quantitative research design using a one-group pretest-posttest approach to examine the impact of the Think-Pair-Share (TPS) cooperative learning model on students' engagement and mathematics learning outcomes. The study population consists of Class IX students at SMP Negeri 1 Bontonompo during the odd semester of the 2024/2025 academic year. The sample was selected using cluster random sampling. Data was collected through three instruments: A student engagement questionnaire, A mathematics learning outcome test, and an observation sheet on lesson implementation. The data was analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistical methods. The descriptive analysis revealed the following key findings: The implementation of the TPS model was highly effective, with an application rate of 91.44%. Student engagement improved, as indicated by an increase in average pretest and posttest scores from 173.76 to 193.04, categorized as a moderate improvement. Mathematics learning outcomes significantly increased, with average pretest and posttest scores rising from 8.88 to 79.20. The average normalized gain was 0.77, and 80% of students achieved mastery learning. Inferential statistical analysis confirmed that the Think-Pair-Share cooperative learning model positively impacts student engagement and mathematics learning outcomes of powers and roots topic for Class IX students at SMP Negeri 1 Bontonompo

Abstract

This study aims to improve students' speaking skills through the use of English song lyrics at SMP Takhassus Al-Quran in Sains Dormitory. It focuses on three aspects of speaking skills: fluency, pronunciation, and expression. The research employs a classroom action research design conducted in two cycles, consisting of planning, action, observation, and reflection. The findings indicate that using English song lyrics creates a fun and interactive learning environment. Students become more motivated, enthusiastic, and confident in speaking English. Activities such as singing along, discussing song meanings, and practicing pronunciation support their language development. However, challenges such as complex vocabulary, unusual pronunciations, and varying student ability levels require special attention from the teacher. Despite these challenges, students’ speaking skills improve significantly, as shown by increased test scores from pre-test to post-test II. Therefore, English song lyrics are considered an effective method for enhancing speaking skills and fostering motivation in learning English.

Abstract

This Community Service Program (PKM) aims to improve the competence of mathematics teachers in Maros Regency through training on the utilization of GeoGebra software as an interactive learning medium. The background of this activity is the low mathematical understanding of students, partly due to teachers’ limited ability to use technology-based media. GeoGebra was chosen because it can facilitate the visualization of abstract mathematical concepts such as geometry, algebra, and calculus, making them easier for students to comprehend. The training was conducted at SMPN 1 Maros on July 23, 2025, involving junior high school mathematics teachers as participants. The implementation consisted of preparation, socialization, mentoring and supervision, as well as evaluation. The evaluation results showed that 90.75% of participants rated the program as highly relevant to their needs, 9.25% rated it relevant, and none rated it irrelevant. These findings indicate that the training successfully enhanced teachers’ skills in using GeoGebra and encouraged them to be more innovative in developing technology-based learning. Thus, this PKM activity has a positive impact on improving the quality of mathematics learning in Maros Regency.

Abstract

Gogik Village has the Sumirang tourist area, which, in addition to the natural beauty of the mountains, is very suitable for camping grounds and outbound activities. The obstacle faced in developing the Sumirang tourist area is the lack of an electricity source. As a result, the utilization for camping grounds and outbound activities cannot be implemented yet. This obstacle can be overcome by implementing Micro Hydro Power Plant (PLTMh) technology, as there is micro-hydro potential in this location that can be utilized. To realize this micro-hydro power plant (PLTMh), identification and potential surveys have been conducted at the Sumirang tourist area through community service activities by DIPA Polines in 2017. The output data from the 2017 community service activities will be used as the foundation for the 2019 community service activities. This service aims to implement the design of a Micro Pelton Turbine as the initial driver of an electric generator utilizing the micro-hydro potential in the Semirang tourist area, Gogik village, Semarang regency. The steps to be taken include designing the specifications of the Micro Pelton Turbine based on the results of the study that has been conducted, manufacturing the components, and installing them at the tourist site. In addition, training on operation and maintenance for the operators will also be conducted. The final stage is the implementation of operations, which will be accompanied by the service implementation team. At this stage, performance measurement will be conducted as an evaluation step of the activities. Performance measurement includes the performance of the technology product, by measuring the input and output power of the Micro Hydro Power Plant (PLTMh), and the performance of the operator which includes attitude, knowledge, and skills in operating the PLTMh. The output target of the service is the installation of Micro Pelton Turbine Technology at the location. The Pelton turbine system is suitable for implementation at the tourist site in Gogik village, Semarang regency. The total electrical energy produced is 1,236 Vah and can be used for 3 streetlight points, 1 guard post light point, toilet light, and prayer room.

Abstract

PLTP siklus biner merupakan salah satu solusi alternatif pemanfaatan panas bumi yang memanfaatkan sistem entalpi rendah. Skala percobaan pembangkit listrik siklus biner bertujuan untuk mengembangkan kemungkinan penggunaan tidak langsung dari sistem panas bumi entalpi rendah di situs Diwak. Unit ini adalah sistem siklus biner 2 kW yang terdiri dari empat komponen utama: evaporator, turbin, kondensor, dan sistem pendingin. Refrigeran R134a dipilih sebagai fluida biner karena kinerja yang diinginkan dan kemudahan ketersediaan di area lokal. Panas ditransfer ke fluida biner di sistem evaporator dengan loop ekstraksi termal. Pendinginan disuplai ke pipa ganda kondensor kemudian diedarkan sebagai loop pada sistem menara pendingin. Turbin putar digunakan sebagai ekspander untuk mengekstraksi pekerjaan dari sistem dan diumpankan oleh evaporator bertekanan tinggi. Sistem telah dirancang dan dibangun dan sekarang siap untuk komisioning dan pengujian.
