Information and Communication Technology (ICT) has reached rural areas. This community service program (KKN PPM) aims to increase the knowledge of village officials and ability to use ICT in managing their local government. Students majored in informatics, mathematics and statistics were involved in the program located in three coastal areas of Kapoiala sub-district, Konawe district. The method used was observation, training and mentoring. It was found that prior to KKN PPM the knowledge level of village officials relating to ICT was still very low. It was due to some factors such as the low level of education, daily activities not requiring ICT and lack of digital mindset. The training and mentoring provided showed an increase in understanding of ICT for the village officials, the community as well as the youth and students. SIMADESTERA and Website for each village were successfully established. However, the skills of the officials in using ICTs have not improved significantly. The obstacle was their low motivation to complete the training due to their jobs for daily lives. In addition, it was still lack of ICT infrastructure in supporting the maintenance of SIMADESTERA and Webdesa. The youth and students showed sufficiently high motivation and they are skilled enough in using ICT. These groups are potential to assist village governments, especially in operating SIMADESTERA and Webdesa.

COVID-19 adalah penyakit yang sangat menular dan masih menjadi masalah serius di seluruh dunia. Data kasus Propinsi Sulawesi Tenggara menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dan sudah sampai ke pelosok desa. Untuk menghambat penyebaran virus ini adalah tetap tinggal di rumah jika tidak ada kepentingan mendesak. Jika harus keluar rumah maka harus mematuhi protocol kesehatan. Diperlukan penguatan desa agar masyaBahriddin Abapihirakatnya tidak terpapar COVID 19 dengan memberikan sosialisasi tentang COVID-19. Untuk itu perlu pengukuran pengetahuan masyakarat agar untuk menentukan metode sosialisasi yang tepat. Pengukuran dilakukan dua kali di 27 desa dengan jumlah responden sebanyak 880 orang, 51,02% perempuan dan sisanya adalah laki-laki. Jumlah responden dengan pekerjaan petani (19,66%) lebih banyak dibandingkan jumlah responden dengan jenis pekerjaan ASN, pedagang, nelayan, pelajar, buruh, tukang ojek, penjaga toko, dan ibu rumah tangga. Sementara itu, jenjang pendidikan SMA atau sederajat (39,55%) dengan jenjang pendidikan lainnya hampir berimbang. Hasil pengukuran pada tahap awal menunjukkan bahwa sebesar 62,29% mengetahui COVID 19 dan sebesar 48,96% msayarakat melakukan tindakan pencegahan. Setelah dilakukan sosialisasi selama 4 minggu, menunjukkan bahwa pengetahuan, sikap, dan perilaku atau tindakan, masing-msing mengalami peningkatan sebesar 93,33%, 97,05%, dan 94,44%. Terjadi kesadaran tentang pencegahan COVID 19.Kata Kunci: Covid 19, Desa Siaga, Pengetahuan, Sikap dan Tindakan

Corona Virus Disease atau COVID-19 telah mewabah ke seluruh dunia, termasuk Indonesia. Diperlukan pengetahuan, sikap, dan tindakan yang tepat seluruh lapisan masyarakat. Namun, tidak semua lapisan masyarakat paham dan sadar akan bahaya penyakit ini, khususnya masyarakat di perdesaan. Perlu menyiapkan masyarakat perdesaan dalam menghadapi wabah COVID-19, pemberian informasi yang cukup tentang untuk menghambat laju penyebarannya. Dalam program pengabdian ini dilakukan survey awal tentang pengetahuan, sikap, dan tindakan sebelum dilakukannya penyuluhan dan pemberian informasi kepada masyarakat. Proses pembelajaran kepada masyarakat dilakukan dengan memberikan informasi lengkap dengan bahasa yng mudah dipahami masyarakat setempat. Proses edukasi ini, kembali dilakukan survey untuk mengetahui pengetahuan, sikap, dan tindakan masyarakat setempat terhadap COVID-19. Hasil survey menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pengetahuan tentang COVID-19, serta peningkatan sikap dan tindakan positif pasca edukasi. Keywords: COVID-19, survey, desa siaga, penyuluhan, edukasi

This study aims to analyze the impact of social media communication on the formation of adolescent identity from a cross-cultural perspective. Using cross-cultural analysis methods, this study investigates how adolescents from different countries and cultures interact with social media and how those interactions affect the formation of their identities. The results of the study show that social media plays an important role as an important space for adolescents to uncover, express, and negotiate their cultural identity. Social media platforms provide access to a wide range of cultural expressions, allowing for the blending and transformation of traditional and modern cultural elements. However, research also shows that the influence of social media can lead to cultural homogenization and the potential loss of unique local cultural identities. In addition, the study also found that social media use can influence teens by offering a sense of community and membership, as well as facilitating connections with like-minded friends globally.

Title of this community service is “Mathematics Training for the Fast Precise Competition (LCT) Team at a SMP Negeri 9 Kendari in Preparation for Taking Part in LCT at SMP/MTs Level Throughout Southeast Sulawesi at FMIPA UHO”. Implemented with the aim of increasing the capacity of mathematics teachers at SMP Negeri 9 Kendari and improving the abilities of the LCT Team at SMP Negeri 9 Kendari in preparation for taking part in LCT level throughout Southeast Sulawesi at FMIPA UHO. The results of this community service activity are increased capacity of mathematics teachears and an increase in knowledge and abilities of the LCT Team at SMP Negeri 9 Kendari in the mathematics. The LCT Team SMP Negeri 9 is ready to take part in LCT Mathematics.

Mathematical models can solve problems to find out which individuals are superior from crosses in the field of genetics. The matrix form of the mathematical model using the concept of matrix diagonalization can solve these problems. The general definition of matrix diagonalization is with the diagonalized matrix elements obtained from the probability of crossing the average parent and the recessive parent. The mathematical model of a cross between the average parent and recessive parent can be formulated as . The behavior of the solution from the cross is in the form of an explicit equation which can be formulated as . From the calculation results, it is found that in the nth generation, where the limit for n goes to infinity, all offspring from crossing normal parents with offspring with genotypes are normal genotypes. In contrast, all offspring from crossing recessive parents with offspring with genotypes are heterozygous.

Tulisan merupakan media informasi dan komunikasi yang telah ada semenjak dahulu. Seiring dengan perkembangan teknologi, kegiatan menulis telah beralih dari penggunaan kertas ke media digital. Dalam konteks penulisan jurnal ilmiah, seorang penulis harus memastikan bahwa seluruh isi karya ilmiah yang ditulis telah dieja dengan benar. Proses pengecekan ejaan dengan cara manual dapat menjadi tugas yang memakan waktu dan berisiko terlewatnya beberapa kesalahan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membangun sistem deteksi kesalahan ejaan pada dokumen jurnal ilmiah dengan mengombinasikan Algoritma Boyer Moore dan Algoritma Damerau Levenshtein Distance. Alat yang digunakan dalam membangun sistem deteksi kesalahan ejaan dalam penelitian ini yaitu library ReactJS sebagai frontend tools dan ExpressJS sebagai backend yang digunakan dalam proses pengiriman dan penerimaan data ke user. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian sistem yang telah dilakukan menunjukkan bahwa kombinasi algoritma Damerau Levenshtein Distance dan Boyer Moore memberikan hasil yang baik dalam menghasilkan saran koreksi dengan rata-rata akurasi 99,20%, presisi 82,59%, recall 91,67%, waktu eksekusi 8,62 millisecond untuk percobaan pertama dan rata-rata akurasi 98,89%, presisi 84,56%, recall 93,10%, waktu eksekusi 13,45 millisecond untuk percobaan kedua.

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of ICT-based inquiry-based learning model on students' critical thinking skills. This research is a type of quantitative research with a meta-analysis approach. The data in this study came from the analysis of 16 national journals published in 2020-2024. The inclusion criteria in this meta-analysis consisted of experimental or quasi-experimental method research, data derived from SINTA and Scopus indexed journals or proceedings, research related to ICT-based inquiry-based learning models on students' critical thinking skills, sample size> 25 students; Data obtained from trusted databases, namely sciencedirect, ERIC, Wiley and Taylor of Francis and research describing complete data to calculate the effect size (ES) value. Data analysis in this study is quantitative analysis by calculating the effect size value of each study with the help of OpenMEE software. The results concluded that the ICT-based inquiry-based learning model had a positive effect on students' critical thinking skills with an ES value = 0.839; z= 6.024; < 0.001 This finding provides important information for educators in implementing ICT-based inquiry-based learning model in learning.

Mengolah data hasil belajar siswa secara baik dan akurat sangat penting bagi guru dalam upaya meningkatkan efektivitas pembelajaran di kelas. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan guru SMP kota Kendari dalam menggunakan Microsoft Excel untuk mengolah data hasil belajar siswa dengan menggunakan statistik dasar. Materi pelatihan meliputi penggunaan Excel dalam penginputan data, penyajian data, pengolahan data dengan statistik dasar termasuk menginterpretasikan hasil pengolahan data. Hasil pelatihan menunjukkan bahwa terjadi peningkatan baik kemampuan maupun keterampilan peserta. Pengetahuan. Sebelum pelatihan sebanyak 25% peserta yang masih sangat kurang pemahamannya terhadap statistik dasar (rata-rata, median, modus, kuartil, dan standar deviasi) dan sebanyak 30% yang sudah sangat paham. Setelah pelatihan pemahaman peserta meningkat menjadi 25% kategori cukup paham dan 75% sangat paham. Demikian juga keterampilan dalam mengolah data dengan menggunakan excel mengalami peningkatan. Sebelum pelatihan dilakukan terdapat sekitar 50% peserta yang kategori belum atau tidak mampu menggunakan excel dalam mengolah data dan sekitar 25% yang masuk kategori mampu. Setelah pelatihan diberikan yang kategori mampu mengolah data dengan excel meningkat menjadi 60% dan kategori cukup mampu menjadi 30% sedangkan kelompok tidak mampu tinggal sekitar 10%

This descriptive quantitative study demonstrates that Task-Based Learning (TBL) significantly enhances the English-speaking proficiency of maritime cadets at Semarang Merchant Marine Polytechnic (SMMP). Through authentic shipboard training experiences, 30 final-year cadets showed a remarkable 16% improvement in English communication skills compared to the previous academic year. Assessment using Brown's techniques revealed robust performance in grammar (81, very good) and comprehension (79, good), with notable development in fluency (80, very good). While vocabulary (79, good) and pronunciation (78, good) showed positive results, these areas require additional focus. The instruments used in this study included recorded speaking tasks conducted during shipboard training, which were transcribed and scored using Brown’s (2004) speaking assessment rubric. Quantitative data were then analyzed using descriptive statistics to determine performance levels and identify skill-specific strengths and weaknesses. These findings highlight that integrating real-world maritime tasks with language learning creates sustainable English-speaking skills that directly enhance cadets' professional readiness. The study demonstrates that TBL effectively bridges the gap between classroom learning and industry requirements, making graduates more confident and competitive in global maritime employment.
