Abstract

Dampak pandemi benar-benar mempengaruhi hampir seluruh sektror kemasyarakatan. Berdasarkan observasi yang dilakukan selama beberapa hari di setiap RT Kelurahan Karang Balik, masjid yang terletak di pinggir jalan protokol ramai dikunjungi tidak hanya oleh masyarakat sekitar. Banyak orang dari berbagai tempat dapat singgah dan beristirahat di sana. Sedangkan pada kantor Kelurahan Karang Balik, yang aktivitasnya cukup padat, pemantauan prokes terkadang tidak diindahkan oleh sebagian oknum. Dari hasil diskusi dengan beberapa pihak terkait, pada program pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dibuat alat cuci tangan otomatis dan juga penyemprot desinfektan otomatis. Dua alat otomatis yang dibuat, dirancang dan di uji coba di Laboratorium Teknik Mesin, Fakultas Teknik, Universitas Borneo Tarakan. Setelah uji coba berhasil, kedua alat tersebut diserahkan ke pihak kelurahan untuk selanjutnya dipantau kegunaannya di lokasi sasaran. Keberadaan alat ini cukup membantu mengantisipasi dan mencegah terjadinya penyebaran virus Covid-19.

Abstract

Buah pisang ambon lumut merupakan salah satu buah klimaterik yang umumnya dipanen ketika masih mentah dari pohonnya untuk bisa dijual. Perkiraan kematangan buah pisang ambon lumut masih mengalami kesulitan sebab warna kulit buah tidak berubah saat mentah ataupun matang, sehingga pembeli harus mengecek tanda-tanda kematangan dari buah dengan cara menekan buah yang dapat menimbulkan memar dan mempengaruhi perubahan mutu buah tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan merancang pendeteksi tingkat kesegaran buah pisang ambon lumut berbasis indikator bromofenol biru dan metil merah yang mampu menyerap senyawa bromin penyebab kebusukan. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap dengan dua faktor penelitian. Faktor pertama yaitu komposisi dan perbandingan metil merah dan bromofenol biru dengan empat taraf perlakuan (BM3 = 3 larutan A:1 larutan B, BM5 = 5 larutan A:1 larutan B, BM = 100% larutan A, dan BB = 100% larutan B). Larutan A yaitu 50% metil merah dan 50% bromofenol biru, sedangkan larutan B yaitu 100% bromofenol biru. Faktor kedua yaitu konsentrasi pelarut etanol dengan dua taraf perlakuan (pengenceran 50 ml dan 100 ml). Data penelitian dianalisis menggunakan software SPSS dengan ANOVA pada taraf nyata 5% dan diuji lanjut dengan uji Beda Nyata Jujur pada taraf nyata yang sama. Perlakuan BM5 memberikan data total perubahan warna tertinggi yang mengindikasikan perubahan warna yang terlihat signifikan, yaitu warna ungu–kuning untuk kondisi matang–busuk. Pengembangan indikator kesegaran ini diharapkan dapat menjadi label pintar pendeteksi bromin pada buah pisang ambon lumut hijau.

Abstract

This research aims to educate and help the public to think objectively when it comes to determining leaders. The research focuses on describing the type, frequency and comparison of politeness maxims uttered by the 3 vice presidential candidates at the Mata Najwa event. The method used in this research is a qualitative descriptive method. The data was categorized, classified, and analyzed using Leech's theory of 6 maxims of Politeness. The results of this research show that Mahfud's speech falls within the maxim of generosity/mercy. With this research, the researcher hopes that the studies mentioned can be useful for further research, add insight to readers, especially the Indonesian people, and can help people to think more objectively in choosing leaders.

Abstract

Maintaining politeness has an important role in communication. However, using considerate language to communicate respectfully and appropriately is crucial. An investigation into the politeness strategy was carried out in light of these occurrences. In this study, the researcher examined Anies Baswedan, an Indonesian political figure, and her use of politeness strategies, particularly positive politeness. The goals of this study were to identify the positive politeness techniques and the factors that encourage Anies Baswedan to implement them in his nationalistic speech. This study employed a descriptive qualitative research design, and the politeness strategy was analyzed using Brown and Levinson's (1987) theory of politeness strategies. The result of this research showed that there were thirteen utterances representing the eighth positive politeness strategy used by Anies Baswedan in the "Deklarasi Garda Matahari" event. The use of politeness strategies is mostly related to the political atmosphere that is happening in Indonesia.

Abstract

Masalah kebersihan lingkungan menjadi suatu permasalahan yang banyak dialami oleh masyarakat, Kebersihan lingkungan akan menentukan Kesehatan suatu Masyarakat. Edukasi tentang Kesehatan lingkungan bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan Masyarakat sebagai upaya pencegahan penyakit yang diakibatkan oleh kebersihan di lingkungan. Materi edukasi tentang pengertian, tanda gejala, dampak, dan upaya pencegahan dan pengendalian. Metode yang digunakan, yaitu ceramah dan diskusi, Media yang digunakan, yaitu leaflet, soal pretest dan post test. Hasil kegiatan pengabdian ini menunjukkan terjadi peningkatan pengetahuan sebelum dan setelah dilakukan penyuluhan. Disarankan untuk pengabdian berikutnya dapat dilakukan Demonstrasi pengelolaan sampah menjadi nilai tambah ekonomi Masyarakat.

Abstract

This article aims to examine the role of business ethics in shaping responsible entrepreneurship through a systematic literature review. In the context of globalization and technological advancements, ethical challenges in the business world are increasingly complex. Therefore, the teaching of business ethics in entrepreneurship education is considered essential to equip aspiring entrepreneurs with knowledge and attitudes that support sustainable and responsible business practices. Through a literature analysis that includes various studies related to business ethics in entrepreneurship education categorized into 5 article categories, this article further finds that the integration of business ethics principles can increase the social and environmental awareness of entrepreneurs. In addition, the role of education in shaping responsible entrepreneurship is crucial to creating entrepreneurs who not only focus on profits but also pay attention to social and ecological impacts. These findings provide insights for the development of entrepreneurship curricula that are more based on ethics and sustainability.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of capital structure and investment decisions on firm value with profitability as a moderating variable. Capital structure is measured by debt to equity ratio, investment decisions are measured by priceearnings ratio, profitability is measured by Return on Assets and firm value is measured by Tobin’s Q. The analytical tool used is multiple linear regression analysis to test the direct effect between variables and the Moderated Regression Analysis is used to test the effect of moderating variables. The sampling method uses the purposive sampling technique. The research sample amounted to 18 LQ45 non-financial sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange from 2013 to 2017. The results of the study prove that capital structure, investment decisions, and profitability have a significant positive effect on firm value. Profitability is proven to be able to moderate the influence of capital structure and investment decisions on firm value. The implications of this study indicate that profitability has an important role in realizing the dimensions of the company’s growth prospects that have an impact on increasing corporate value.

Tujuan yang ingin di capai dalam penelitian ini adalah bagaimana Kinerja TKBM Di Kegiatan Stevedoring Muatan Raw Sugar Pada PT Citra Jateng Stevedoring Pelabuhan Tanjung Emas Semarang. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif yang dimaksudkan untuk memberikan gambaran mengenai implementasi Kinerja TKBM Di Kegiatan Stevedoring Muatan Raw Sugar. Jenis Penelitian yang dipakai menggunakan Metode Kualitatif serta dilaksanakan di PT Citra Jateng Stevedoring berada di Pelabuhan Tanjung Emas Semarang. Hasil Penelitian adalah Berupa kegiatan stevedoring pada muatan raw sugar berdasarkan kinerja TKBM PT Citra Jateng Stevedoring di Pelabuhan semarang.

Abstract

The implementation of the National Health Insurance (JKN) in Indonesia has gone well, with the strengthening of primary care functions. One health facility that provides primary health care services owned by the government is the Community Health Center (Puskesmas). The target referral rate for Puskesmas in 2024 is a challenge to control. The high number of referrals can increase hospital visits and costs. Special efforts are needed to achieve these targets. This study aims to determine the factors affecting referral rates in community health centers. The study used a scoping review method. The literature search was conducted in the 2021-2024 range using Researchgate, PubMed, Google Scholar, and other sources. The keywords used were Primary Care, Referral Rate, and Community Health Centers. Literature selection resulted in eight articles that met the criteria for analysis. Some factors found were facilities and infrastructure, human resources, disease complications, drug availability, patient perceptions, location of community health centers, Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for referrals, and applicable regulations. Fulfillment of these factors is necessary to achieve referral rates.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effects of the Regional Financial Independence Ratio, Local Revenue Effectiveness Ratio (PAD), Regional Expenditure Efficiency Ratio, Regional Expenditure Management Ratio, Local Revenue Growth Ratio, and Fiscal Decentralization Degree Ratio on the financial performance of local governments. It also investigates the differences in financial performance before and after the COVID-19 pandemic in regencies and cities across East Java Province. Multiple linear regression analysis and the paired samples test are used in this quantitative study. The study uses secondary data from the regional budget realization reports (APBD), sourced from the official website of the Directorate General of Fiscal Balance (DJPK), Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Indonesia. The sample includes 38 regencies/cities over the 2020–2023 period, with a total of 152 observations. The results indicate that partially, only the Local Revenue Growth Ratio has a significant effect on financial performance, while simultaneously, all financial ratios show significant influence. These outcomes are interpreted through the mathematical logic of each ratio and supported by previous research. Furthermore, the paired sample test reveals significant differences in financial performance between the pandemic and post-pandemic periods, suggesting a decline after the pandemic. The findings underscore the crucial role of local revenue growth in enhancing financial performance and highlight the importance of adaptive fiscal recovery strategies in the post-pandemic era. This study is expected to serve as an evaluative reference for local governments in formulating more effective and sustainable financial management policies.
