Abstract

Indonesia is famous for its wide variety of processed foods and very abundant food resources. One of them is pudding. Pudding is a type of dessert that is popular with many people of various ages. Pudding is in great demand because of its sweet taste and soft texture, especially with the addition of fruit or vegetables to the pudding. Apart from that, it can also be applied with the addition of vaname, which can increase the nutritional value of the pudding. The aim of this research is to determine the level of people's liking for shrimp pudding. The main treatments in this study included five treatments that varied with the addition of shrimp powder, divided into four groups: UP0 (0 gr), UP1 (10 gr), UP2 (20 gr), UP3 (30 gr), UP4 (40 gr), UP5 (50 gr). I am like a test with 60 panelists. This research design will implement a completely randomized design (CRD) with four repetitions. ANOVA statistical test was carried out to analyze the data. If there were significant differences between food treatments, it was continued with the Duncan test.

Abstract

Kurangnya pengetahuan dan pemahaman akan pentingnya memperhatikan hygine dan sanitasi lingkungan bagi setiap orang menjadi salah satu faktor utama yang menyebabkan meningkatnya kasus infeksi yang terjadi di masyarakat baik yang ada di pedesaan maupun perkotaan. Sanitasi merupakan permasalahan yang menjadi perhatian serius oleh pemerintah karena berdampak bukan hanya pada penurunan angka kesehatan masyarakat tetapi akan berdampak pada berbagai bidang seperti ekonomi, kesehatan, lingkungan, serta memberikan dampak menurunnya kualitas sumber daya manusia di Indonesia. Dengan semakin tingginya kasus infeksi yang disebabkan karena sanitasi yang buruk di masyarakat, maka masyarakat perlu  mendapatkan edukasi terkait dengan berbagai cara dan upaya untuk menciptakan situasi yang hygine dan saniter. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk memberikan pengetahuan dan peningkatan pemahaman kepada ibu-ibu di Desa Tanjung Pering mengenai 5 pilar STBM dalam mewujudkan masyarakat yang berperilaku hidup bersih dan sehat. Selain itu juga kegiatan ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan kesehatan masyarakat dalam mengantisipasi berbagai penyakit infeksi khususnya pasca pandemik COVID-19. Sosialisasi ini dilakukan dengan memberikan infromasi secara langsung kepada masyarakat setempat disertai dengan proses evaluasi kegiatan melalui posttest di akhir kegiatan.

Abstract

AbstrakPenggunaan Styrofoam sangat populer dikalangan masyarakat terutama pada kalangan remaja. Styrofoam sering digunakan sebagai tempat makanan. Penggunaan Styrofoam sangat berbahaya bagi kesehatan, karena Styrofoam terbuat dari  zat benzena dan striryne. Zat ini dapat bermigrasi ke dalam makanan yang dikemas menggunakan Styrofoam, apalagi makanan tersebut dalam keadaan panas dan berlemak. iEdukasi kesehatan merupakan program pengabdian masyarakat yang bertujuan iuntuk memberikan penyuluhan kesehatan bahaya penggunaan Styrofoam sebagai iwadah makanan kepada anak remaja yaitu di SMK Hepweti Ciamis. Program pengabdian imasyarakat ini menggunakan kuesioner pre test dan post test dengan sebanyak 10 pertanyaan. Analisis pre test, sebagian besar anak-anak remaja belum mengetahui ibahwa penggunaan Styrofoam sebagai wadah makanan itu sangat berbahaya. iPost test menunjukkan adanya perubahan berupa pemahaman pada anak remaja. Kesimpulan dari pengabdian masyarakat ini bahwa edukasi ini idapat memberikan ilmu tambahan idan imanfaat kepada anak remaja bahwa penggunaan Styrofoam sebagai wadah imakanan itu sangat berbahaya. Menambahnya pengetahuan anak remaja, diharapkan idapat menyebarkan informasi yang didapat kepada anak remaja yang lainnya sehingga tidak ada lagi penggunaan Styrofoam sebagai wadah makanan.

Abstract

The digital revolution in financial services has significantly changed the landscape of financial inclusion. Financial inclusion and economic justice remain a major challenge for the poor and vulnerable, especially in developing countries like Indonesia. Digital technology is developing as a promising alternative for increasing access to services of formal financial, reducing economic inequalities, and improving people’s well-being. This study investigates the function of digital technologies in fostering financial inclusion and economic justice across the social strata in Indonesia. The findings show that digital technology has enhanced access financial services, reduced inequality and opened new economic opportunities for communities. However, there are challenges in ensuring equal access to digital financial services, including literacy barriers, infrastructure gaps, and security concerns. By evaluating government initiative and private sector engagement in promoting financial inclusion, this study highlights the critical role of digital tools in advancing economic justice. The research contributes by providing policy recommendations to improve access to digital technologies, expand financial inclusion, and support more equitable and sustainable economic growth.

Abstract

Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) is a pathogenic virus that attacks and damages the human immune system so that the body becomes weak in fighting viral or bacterial infections. The purpose of this study was to determine the description of Anti Streptolysin O examination in HIV patients at Imbanagara Health Center. This research method is descriptive, with a sample size of 35 HIV-positive people in Imbanagara. Measurements used qualitative and semi-quantitative procedures with a black background slide instrument. The examination was conducted at the Imbanagara Health Center in June 2023. The results of this study obtained positive results for as many as three people (9%) with an average ASTO level of 400 IU/mL and negative results for as many as 32 people (91%).

Abstract

Bangle (Zingiber purpureum Rosc.) is one of the species of the Zingiberaceae family that has medicinal properties. Secondary metabolites contained in bangle rhizomes have biological activity as antioxidants, anti-inflammatory, anticancer, anti-asthma, anti-aging, neuroprotective, antimicrobial. Environmentally friendly technological innovation to increase soil nutrient content and plant growth in sustainable plant cultivation efforts is by utilizing plant growth-promoting rhizobacteria (PGPR). This study aims to determine the effect of PGPR concentration on the growth of bangle rhizomes. This study was conducted at the Physiology and Development Laboratory, Department of Biology, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Sriwijaya University. A completely randomized study design was used with five PGPR concentration treatments (0; 75; 125; 175; and 225 ppm). Data were analyzed by Analysis of Variance (Anova) and Duncan's Multiple Range Test (DMRT). The study showed that PGPR treatment can increase the growth of bangle rhizomes compared to no PGPR treatment. The best results at a PGPR concentration of 175 ppm in increasing the growth of bangle rhizomes.

Abstract

Federated Learning (FL) has emerged as a promising paradigm for the collaborative training of machine learning models across decentralized devices while preserving data privacy. However, ensuring data security and privacy during model updates remains a critical challenge, particularly in scenarios that involve sensitive data. This study proposes a novel Privacy-Preserving Algorithm (PPA-FL) designed to enhance data security and mitigate privacy leakage risks in FL frameworks. The algorithm integrates advanced encryption techniques, such as homomorphic encryption, with differential privacy to secure model updates without compromising the utility. Furthermore, it incorporates a dynamic noise-adjustment mechanism to adaptively balance privacy and model accuracy. Extensive experiments on benchmark datasets demonstrate that PPA-FL achieves a competitive trade-off between privacy protection and model performance compared to existing methods. The proposed approach is computationally efficient and scalable, making it suitable for real-world applications in healthcare, finance, and the IoT environment. This research contributes to advancing secure data-sharing practices in federated learning, fostering the broader adoption of privacy-preserving machine learning solutions.

Abstract

Perilaku Hidup Bersih dan Sehat (PHBS) serta Cuci Tangan Pakai Sabun (CTPS) belum berhasil secara optimal karena berbagai faktor dan hambatan. Oleh karena itu, pentingnya PHBS dimasukkan ke dalam visi misi Indonesia sehat 2010. Selain itu, PHBS juga termasuk dalam rencana strategis Kementerian Kesehatan 2010-2014 dan mulai disosialisasikan melalui berbagai kegiatan di desa/kelurahan siaga aktif. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk membangkitkan perilaku hidup bersih dan sehat di kalangan anak-anak pemulung berusia dini serta masyarakat sekitar. Metode pengabdian kepada masyarakat dilaksanakan dengan memberikan edukasi dan bimbingan. Materi penyuluhan meliputi PHBS dan CTPS. Selama tiga sesi kegiatan, materi disampaikan menggunakan metode ceramah, video animasi, dan praktik langsung yang disesuaikan dengan kebutuhan anak-anak usia dini. Data hasil kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat sebelum dilakukan pengabdian kepada masyarakat menunjukkan bahwa anak-anak sekitar Taman Baca Amalia cenderung kurang mempraktikkan PHBS dan CTPS dengan tingkat pemahaman rata-rata sebesar 46,3%. Evaluasi tingkat pemahaman anak-anak setelah kegiatan pengabdian pada masyarakat menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata pemahaman mencapai 98,54%. Hal ini menandakan bahwa anak-anak telah memahami dengan baik materi PHBS dan CTPS yang disampaikan. Pengabdian kepada masyarakat berhasil meningkatkan kesadaran dan pemahaman anak-anak tentang pentingnya perilaku hidup bersih dan sehat serta cara mencuci tangan dengan benar.

Abstract

This research aims to design and build a smart wardrobe based on the Internet of Things (IoT) equipped with color sensors and sound sensors. This cabinet is designed to make it easier for users to organize and find the clothes they want with the help of advanced technology. The color sensor will detect the color of the garment and allow the system to suggest a combination of garments that suit the user's preferences. Meanwhile, the voice sensor allows for control of the wardrobe through voice commands, providing convenience for users to access clothes without having to open the closet door manually. This smart cabinet uses microcontroller-based hardware connected to a mobile app to manage and monitor the status of cabinets. The integrated IoT system allows the cabinet to function automatically and respond quickly to the input received from the sensors. The results of this research are expected to produce more efficient devices for organizing and searching for clothes, as well as provide a more interactive and practical user experience. In addition, by optimizing IoT technology, this research aims to introduce a more sophisticated smart home concept, with a wardrobe as one of the elements that support the ease of daily life. Abstract

This study aims to describe the understanding of students' concepts on dynamic electric metrics in maritime-based schools in the city of Tegal. The study was conducted through a four-stage diagnostic test. The concept of dynamic electricity includes: Electric current strength, potential difference, series-parallel circuit, electric power, and Kirchoff's 1 law. The study was conducted at Tegal Nahdlatul Ulama High School as a sample of maritime-based schools in Tegal in the 2018/2019 school year. The sample used in the study was 29 students of class XII IPA Nahdlatul Ulama High School in Tegal city. The stages of research include (1) Reviewing references and journals related to understanding concept research; (2) Reviewing the syllabus to obtain misconceptions in the material of dynamic electric chapter physics; (3) Designing a question instrument in the form of a four tier test that can diagnose student misconceptions; (5) Validation by experts, namely with lecturers; (6) Test instruments to determine validity, reliability, degree of difficulty and differentiation of questions; (7) Test of student misconceptions carried out to students of class XII IPA at Nahdlatul Ulama High School. The results of data analysis obtained a description of students' understanding which could be categorized as understanding concepts, misconceptions, not understanding concepts and errors.
