Tersedak merupakan kondisi gawat darurat yang dapat menyebabkan kematian jika tidak segera ditangani. Salah satu tindakan efektif dalam penanganan tersedak adalah Heimlich Maneuver. Namun, masih banyak remaja yang belum mengetahui teknik ini. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian edukasi Heimlich Maneuver berbasis multimedia interaktif terhadap pengetahuan dan sikap siswa MA Muhammadiyah Kota Jambi. Metode penelitian menggunakan quasi-eksperimen dengan rancangan control group design yang melibatkan kelompok intervensi dan kontrol. Populasi penelitian berjumlah 124 siswa, dengan total sampling sebanyak 62 siswa pada kelompok intervensi dan 62 siswa pada kelompok kontrol. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan kuesioner dan dianalisis melalui uji Wilcoxon serta Mann-Whitney. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat peningkatan signifikan pada tingkat pengetahuan dan sikap siswa setelah diberikan edukasi berbasis multimedia interaktif dengan nilai p=0,001. Sebelum intervensi, mayoritas responden memiliki pengetahuan kurang (93,5%), namun setelah edukasi meningkat menjadi 98,3% kategori baik, dan seluruh responden menunjukkan sikap positif terhadap tindakan Heimlich Maneuver. Kesimpulannya, pemberian edukasi Heimlich Maneuver berbasis multimedia interaktif berpengaruh signifikan dalam meningkatkan pengetahuan dan sikap siswa, sehingga media ini direkomendasikan dalam pendidikan kesehatan sekolah.

This study aims to analyze the effect of management practices on improving service quality through the practice of integrated infrastructure EFQM and Six Sigma Public Health Center (PHC) in Jambi Province. This research is a quantitative research using a cross sectional design approach through two stages of research. The research data was obtained using a questionnaire from a sample of 560 civil servant employees in 24 PHCs that were randomly selected and analyzed by second order using Smart-PLS 3.0. The results of the study found that the implementation of management practices, infrastructure practices had a fairly good average by employees and each had a direct effect on the quality of PHC services. The practice of core infrastructure is able to partially mediate between management practices and the quality of PHC services. However, in practice, not all PHCs have implemented quality management practices.

Health problems in patients with coronary heart disease will have an impact on the patient's functional and psychological status. It will affect the quality of life of coronary heart disease patients. Self-efficacy is known to have a role in improving patient quality of life. Therefore, it is essential to increase self-efficacy in coronary heart disease patients. This research aims to determine the effect of the family-center empowerment model on the self-efficacy of coronary heart disease patients. This research uses a quasi-experimental design. The sample in this study was 50 patients with coronary heart disease in the cardiac polyclinic at Raden Mattaher Regional Hospital who were divided into two groups, namely 25 intervention groups and 25 control groups. The sampling technique used was consecutive sampling. The instruments used were questionnaires on respondent characteristics and cardiac self-efficacy. The family center empowerment model intervention consists of four sessions over four weeks. Data analysis used a paired t-test. And independent t-test. Before the FCEM intervention, the results showed no difference in mean self-efficacy in the two groups (p=0.56). However, after the FCEM intervention in the experimental group, self-efficacy increased significantly (p 0.01). Also, there is a difference in mean self-efficacy in the two groups (p = 0.003). This study shows an increase in self-efficacy after the FCEM intervention. It is hoped that nurses can apply FCEM interventions in the field of nursing clinical practice.

Flood-induced health crises are one of the major problems impacting the public health sector, especially in disaster-prone areas such as Bungo District, Jambi Province. Floods often result in the spread of infectious diseases, poor sanitation, and psychological stress, so there is a need for effective health surveillance. This study aimed to evaluate the application of the JITUPASNA model in post-disaster health crisis surveillance in flood-prone areas. This quasi-experimental study used a pre-test and post-test design on two groups with a total of 57 respondents, consisting of health surveillance officers from local health centers and the Health Office. Data was collected using a questionnaire that measured the respondents' knowledge level before and after the intervention. The results of the analysis showed a significant increase in respondents' knowledge, with 100% reaching a high level of knowledge in the second post-test phase. The JITUPASNA model had a significant impact on health surveillance knowledge, enabling faster and more accurate responses in post-disaster health crises. These findings underscore the potential of JITUPASNA to improve health surveillance systems, especially in disaster-prone areas where rapid response is critical.

Flooding in Jambi in 2019 was quite high, according to BNPB. However, from 2018 to 2020, flooding in Merangin Regency experienced ups and downs. According to data from the Nalo Tantan District Health Center, there are 1,058 parents, 281 pregnant women and 522 children under five who are included in the vulnerable group. By preparing and preventing flood disasters, the risk and consequences of flood disasters that often occur in Nalo Tantan District can be reduced. The aim of this research is to look at mapping areas that may be affected by flooding. The ecological study design method used by researchers is a spatial approach assisted by a geographic information system computer program. The results using spatial analysis showed that the highest distribution of vulnerable groups including children under five, pregnant women and the elderly in Nalo Tantan District was in Sungai Ulak village and the lowest number was in Telun village. There is a distribution of the number of vulnerable groups in Nalo Tantan District spread across several villages in large numbers. It is hoped that health workers will be more responsive and skilled in dealing with vulnerable groups, especially in villages with the largest number of vulnerable groups.

As a regional general hospital, Raden Matthaer Regional Hospital is of course the main destination for people to go for treatment. Limited facilities are one of the obstacles to patient service, quite a few patients who have received treatment at Raden Mattaher Hospital are referred to other hospitals to continue treatment. Referrals are not only made within the city but also to hospitals outside the city. Referral of patients to hospitals outside the city when services are not available at hospitals in Jambi. During the referral process, of course, ambulance transportation is required. Using an ambulance also depends on the patient's needs. The aim of this research is to analyze the referral process for emergency ambulance transportation at Raden Mattaher Regional Hospital, Jambi Province. This research is descriptive qualitative research. There were four participants. The verbatim transcript interview results were processed and produced 3 main themes, namely the referral process, transportation and Integrated referral information system. From this research it can also be seen how the referral process, use of ambulances, and use of SISRUTE are.

This community service aims to increase the knowledge and skills of alumni regarding independent nursing practice and modern wound care. The method of implementing this service used training and demonstration. The partners in this activity were 20 alumni from the Nursing Study Program at the University of Jambi. The instrument used in this activity was a questionnaire on knowledge of independent nursing practice and modern wound care. The data analysis used uses a frequency distribution. The results of this service activity show an increase in knowledge and skills in the excellent category regarding independent nursing practice and modern wound care, which reached 90%. With this activity, it is hoped that more alumni will be able to carry out independent nursing practice. Apart from that, there is a need to strengthen the knowledge and skills of alumni on an ongoing basis.

ABSTRACT Poor glycemic control and long-standing diabetes increase the risk of diabetic peripheral neuropathy. Consistent and regular glycemic control is needed to prevent diabetic peripheral neuropathy complications. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between glycemic control and duration of diabetes with the incidence of diabetic peripheral neuropathy at Dr. Bratanata Hospital, Jambi City. Type of quantitative research with descriptive correlative design and cross sectional approach. Population of diabetes mellitus patients at the diabetes polyclinic of Dr. Bratanata Hospital, Jambi City. Sample 72 respondents with purposive sampling technique. The instruments used were glycemic control observation sheets and Neuropathy Symptom Score (NSS) questionnaires. Univariate data analysis using frequency distribution and bivariate analysis using chi-square test. A total of 18 respondents had no diabetic neuropathy (25.0%), mild neuropathy 9 respondents (12.5%), moderate neuropathy 14 respondents (19.1%), and severe neuropathy 31 respondents (43.1%). Bivariate analysis, glycemic control (fasting blood sugar and 2-hour postprandial blood sugar) obtained a value of (p = 0.000), glycemic control (HbA1c) obtained a value of (p = 0.000), and length of diabetes obtained a value of (p = 0.001). This shows that there is a relationship between glycemic control and duration of diabetes with the incidence of diabetic peripheral neuropathy. Keywords: Diabetic Peripheral Neuropathy, Duration of Diabetes, Glycemic Control ABSTRAK Kontrol glikemik yang buruk dan lama menderita diabetes meningkatkan risiko neuropati perifer diabetik. Diperlukan kontrol glikemik yang konsisten dan teratur untuk mencegah komplikasi neuropati perifer diabetik. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui hubungan kontrol glikemik dan lama menderita diabetes dengan kejadian neuropati perifer diabetik di Rumah Sakit Dr. Bratanata Kota Jambi. Jenis penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain deskriptif korelatif dan pendekatan cross sectional. Populasi pasien diabetes melitus di poliklinik diabetes Rumah Sakit Dr. Bratanata Kota Jambi. Sampel 72 responden dengan teknik purposive sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah lembar observasi kontrol glikemik dan kuesioner Neuropathy Symptom Score (NSS). Analisa data univariat menggunakan distribusi frekuensi dan analisa bivariat menggunakan uji chi-square. Sebanyak 18 responden tidak neuropati diabetik (25,0%), neuropati ringan 9 responden (12,5%), neuropati sedang 14 responden (19,1%), dan neuropati berat 31 responden (43,1%). Analisis bivariat kontrol glikemik (gula darah puasa dan gula darah 2 jam postprandial) diperoleh nilai (p= 0,000), kontrol glikemik (HbA1c) diperoleh nilai (p= 0,000), dan lama menderita diabetes diperoleh nilai (p= 0,001). Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa ada hubungan kontrol glikemik dan lama menderita diabetes dengan kejadian neuropati perifer diabetik. Obesitas pada remaja menjadi permasalahan kesehatan global yang semakin meningkat. Meskipun dibandingkan negara-negara maju jumlah kasus obesitas pada remaja di Indonesia masih tergolong rendah, peningkatan prevalensinya dalam beberapa tahun terakhir menjadi cukup mengkhawatirkan. Berdasarkan Riskesdas 2018 di Provinsi Jambi menunjukan prevalensi obesitas pada kelompok umur 13-15 tahun sebesar 8,13%. Data dari Dinas Kesehatan Kota Jambi pada tahun 2016 sampai 2018 kasus obesitas selalu meningkat tiap tahunnya. Untuk mengatasi masalah tersebut dilakukan kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat berupa penyuluhan promosi kesehatan sebagai pendekatan holistik untuk mencegah obesitas pada remaja. Pendekatan holistik mencakup berbagai aspek, termasuk pendidikan, lingkungan, dan perilaku, untuk memberikan solusi yang komprehensif. Kegiatan diawali dengan sosialisasi tentang peningkatan kesadaran tentang pentingnya gaya hidup sehat, promosi aktivitas fisik, dan pembentukan pola makan yang seimbang pada Siswa/i SMP Negeri 7 Kota Jambi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa intervensi promosi kesehatan holistik mampu menghasilkan perubahan positif pada pengetahuan remaja tentang pentingnya kebiasaan sehat. Selain itu, terjadi peningkatan signifikan dalam tingkat aktivitas fisik dan pilihan makanan sehat. Faktor lingkungan, termasuk dukungan keluarga dan kebijakan sekolah, juga berperan penting dalam kesuksesan program ini.
