Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of job stress and job satisfaction on the psychological well-being of postgraduate employees at the State Islamic University of Sunan Ampel Surabaya. This research method uses quantitative research, with the method used in sampling is saturated sampling. The population used is 41 employees. The analysis of this study using Multiple Linear Regression Analysis by IBM SPSS Statistics 24.0 software. This study concluded that job stress has a negative and meaningful effect on psychological well-being because the burden of many tasks results in stress that causes psychological well-being to decrease. For job satisfaction has a positive and meaningful effect on psychological well-being, the lack of employees results in dissatisfaction when doing work that affects psychological well-being. Meanwhile, the meaningful effect of job stress and job satisfaction on psychological well-being occurs because the simultaneous significance test (f test) are overall Ho is accepted. Institutions must pay attention to work stress experienced by their employees so that the psychological well-being of employees can be well maintained and will have a good impact on employee job satisfaction.

Abstract

Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan minat berwirausaha dan kemampuan mengelola keuangan sederhana bagi mustahiq zakat produktif lembaga amil zakat Nurul Hayat. Sasaran program ini adalah “Bunda Yatim” sebuah program pemberdayaan zakat produktif berupa bantuan modal usaha yang diberikan kepada para janda yang suaminya meninggal dan memiliki tanggungan menafkahi anak. Metode pelaksanakan meliputi perencanaan kegiatan, sosialisasi, pelaksanaan, pendampingan, monitoring dan evaluasi yang dilaksanakan selama 8 (delapan) bulan dan diikuti 30 orang mustahiq Nurul Hayat di wilayah Surabaya selatan. Hasil dari kegiatan ini dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan, motivasi dan minat mustahiq untuk berwirausaha sehingga dapat mensejahterahkan ekonomi mustahiq. Selain itu, peserta kegiatan ini juga dapat mengelola keuangan hasil usaha. Dengan demikian akan terjadi peningkatan status dari mustahiq menjadi muzakki.

Abstract

This study aims to test and influence analysis of transformational leadership and work motivation on employee performance of the regional secretariat office of the province of east java, which is located on Jalan Pahlawan No 110 alun-alun contong, Bubutan District, Surabaya City, East Java (60174). . Data collection method using questionnaires, interviews and literature studies whose population was obtained from all employees whoo opened 51 employees. Data obtained by questionnaire technique through google form. Data wahre analyzed by simple regression with SPSS. The result shows that the first accepted hypothesis is that transformational leadership has a positive effect on employee performance, the second hypothesis is that work motivation has a positive effect on employee performance. The dominant influence is show in work motivation on employee performance.

Abstract

In achieving the company's main objectives seen from the ability and achievement of employee performance. This achievement involves emotional intelligence and spiritual intelligence at work. Studies of emotional intelligence and spiritual intelligence on performance have been carried out by many researchers before, but the results obtained vary greatly. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to study and analyze the results of previous studies in the field of industrial organizations, which are related to the meta-analysis study approach. The meta-analysis study was conducted by reviewing 16 studies based on the results of the selection of the correlation value r, the reliability coefficient, the characteristics of the research subjects, and were the primary studies. Based on the results of the analysis that has been done, empirically the results of literature studies with this meta-analysis are able to answer while convincing researchers that emotional intelligence and spiritual intelligence are the most important things in increasing their participation in decision making and can create an active work atmosphere.

Abstract

Today the world is experiencing very rapid progress in all aspects of life. Along with these advances, strong human resources with good the quality are increasingly needed to face the rapid and continuous change. Limited Liability Company (Perseroan Terbatas/PT) is a profit-oriented business entity. PT. Berau Karya Indah is a new PT in raw material processing industry which is trying to develop production in the manufacturing sector. This study aims to discuss and analyze the influence of transformational leadership style on employees performance and motivation in PT. Berau Karya Indah Surabaya. The population used in this study is all 340 employees of the company. Sample size in this study included 172 respondents who were selected using random sampling technique. The result of this research indicates that transformational leadership style has a significant influence on employee performance and transformational leadership has a significant impact on employees work motivation.

Abstract

This research is aim to investigate the influence of Work-family conflict toward work performance of firefighters office in Surabaya. Firefighters have uncertainty work hours and face high risk in every wildfire. They also have to safe other people life. Because of that Work-family conflict is easily happen to them. With Quantitative approach, this research using survey and distribute questionnaire to 190 firefighters in 5 firefighters office around Surabaya. The result is Work-family conflict and family work conflict have significant negative effect to employee work performance. Other findings there are variables that decrease the effect of Work-family conflict, supervisor support and spousal support. Supervisor support decrease the effect of Work-family conflict to work performance, and spousal support decrease the effect of family-work conflict to work performance

Abstract

Berau Karya Indah is a new company in the industrial processing of raw materials which are trying to develop production. This study aims to discuss and analyze the influence of transformational leadership style on performance and motivation of employees of PT. Berau Karya Indah Surabaya. The population used in this study is all that amount company employees 340 people. The sample size in this study 172 respondents using simple random sampling technique. Statistical analysis methods used is structural equationmodeling(SEM). Results this study mention that 1) there is significant relationship between transformational leadership style (X) on the performance of employees (Y1), 2) transformational leadership has significant implications for employee motivation(Y2)

Abstract

In early 2020, almost all countries in the world, including Indonesia, experienced the impact of the COVID-19 virus pandemic. The people of Sukomulyo Lamongan Village are among those affected economically as a result of this pandemic. To overcome this problem, we have the initiative to provide training on making face shield masks to stop the spread of the COVID-19 virus. The mask making training is expected to be able to increase knowledge and increase the income of program at village level to educate women on various aspects of family welfare or woman in PKK (Pendidikan Kesejahteraan Keluarga). The purpose of this community service implementation is to reduce the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, and to create independence woman in PKK by learning to produce face shield masks. The method we do is by socializing about COVID-19, healthy living patterns during the pandemic, and training in making face shield masks. The results of this activity, which can be seen from the results of the questionnaire, show that 70% feel moved to implement the 5M and MIO movements, and 76% of participants plan to practice making their own face shield masks and will be sold. It can be concluded that this activity provides new experiences for PKK mothers in the Sukomulyo village about the importance of maintaining health during a pandemic, and making face shield masks.DOI: https://doi.org/10.26905/abdimas.v6i1.4887

Abstract

The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) program in Indonesia must be supported by universities. Street Vendors (PKL) as part of the Micro Small and Medium Entity (EMKM) Surabaya Mining Culinary Center is mostly as a 2017 Prolink Environmental Program pilot area which is demanded to be a competitive and productive EMKM in national and global markets for sustainable development which does not yet have knowledge about sustainability and K3. Community Service Activities (PKM) provide training on sustainability and basic OSH to go to SGDs given to 30 EMKM. This activity was carried out through the collaboration of the Mandiri FE Unesa PKM Team in collaboration with the Surabaya City Cooperative and UMKM Service, Surabaya City Fire Department. This activity aims to strengthen sustanainability behavior, by: providing knowledge about how to change sustainability behavior and basic K3. Activities consist of growing sustainability behaviors and basic K3. The results of the PKM activities showed that EMKM participants in the Surabaya Mining Culinary Center were able to apply sustainability and OSH behavior to their culinary business. Furthermore, it was suggested to all relevant parties to participate in strengthening the K3 and sustainability behavior of the culinary business EMKM in Surabaya Culinary Center to accelerate the achievement of SDGs.Keywords: Behavior, Sustainability, SDGs, K3, EMKM

Abstract

East Java, especially Surabaya City is the city with the highest number of people affected by the Covid-19 virus. As the capital city of East Java Province, Surabaya is the center of administrative services, offices, services, shopping, industry and other supporting sectors. With the Covid-19 virus pandemic spreading so fast, the provincial governments of East Java and the City of Surabaya issued regulations for working at home, studying at home, and limiting activities that led to large gatherings of people. Problems arise when the activities of schools, agencies, offices are reduced, so small traders, informal workers, motorcycle taxis, and some informal workers are economically affected. As well as government regulations that must be obeyed in tackling the Covid-19 pandemic, it also needs to be understood. This community service has a target of increasing endurance, especially in terms of meeting basic needs. The implementer understands that in terms of their income is directly affected, the provision of these staples is so that they do not experience an economic shock. So that later they can stay active and look for income to meet family needs.
