Abstract

This research aims to explain: (1) characters character in the drama script Senja Dengan Dua Kelelawar; (2) the inner conflicts experienced by the characters in the drama script Senja Dengan Dua Kelelawar; and (3) the relevance of the drama Senja Dengan Dua Kelelawar as a teaching material for drama appreciation at senior high school. This study uses a literature psychology study, which uses a psychological approach to knowing the character of the character through observation of behavioral characters. The results of this study are descriptions of: (1) the characterization of the characters in the Drama Senja Dengan Dua Kelelawar which differ from each character. This is done to build a storyline that matches the theme of the drama script; (2) the inner conflicts experienced by the characters in the drama drama Senja Dengan Dua Kelelawar are very complex. Every inner conflict experienced by a character can be described through psychoanalytic theory with a focus on the study of the id, ego, and superego; and (3) the relevance of the Drama of Senja Dengan Dua Kelelawar as a teaching material for drama appreciation in high schools by paying attention to aspects of language, students' psychological development, and cultural background.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the dimension of transcendence in the Bumi Cinta novel by Habiburrahman El Shirazy. The data of this research are sentences from the Bumi Cinta novel text which contains a transcendence dimension. The identification of the text of the transcendence dimension, giving meaning, as well as careful exploration of the meaning is carried out using the hermeneutic method. The results of the research are as follows: First, there are three elements of transcendence in the Bumi Cinta novel, namely (1) recognition of human dependence on God seen from worship rituals in the form of prayer and remembrance, (2) there is an absolute difference between God and humans, and (3) the acknowledgment of absolute norms from God that do not come from human reason. Second, the transcendence dimension as the basis for humanization and liberation activities.Penelitan ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan dimensi transendensi dalam novel Bumi Cinta karya Habiburrahman El Shirazy. Data penelitian ini ialah kalimat-kalimat dari teks novel Bumi Cinta yang mengandung dimensi transendensi. Pengidentifikasian teks dimensi transendensi, pemberian makna, serta penggalian cermat atas makna  dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode hermeneutika. Hasil penelitiannya ialah sebagai berikut: Pertama, terdapat tiga unsur transendensi dalam novel Bumi Cinta, yakni (1) pengakuan tentang ketergantungan manusia pada Tuhan dilihat dari ritual ibadah dalam bentuk doa dan zikir, (2) ada perbedaan mutlak antara Tuhan dan manusia, dan (3) pengakuan adanya norma-norma mutlak dari Tuhan yang tidak berasal dari akal manusia. Kedua, dimensi transendensi sebagai dasar kegiatan humanisasi dan liberasi.

Abstract

Saat ini mahasiswa banyak mengunggah foto berbagai kegiatan yang dilakukan, tempat, atau apa pun yang ingin disampaikan kepada orang lain melalui akun Instagram (IG). Sebelum makanan atau minuman dinikmati, disempatkan untuk difoto kemudian diunggah di media sosial. Foto yang diunggah di IG dilengkapi dengan keterangan. Dalam penulisan keterangan tersebut kerap memasukkan unsur bahasa Inggris. Berkaitan dengan hal tersebut penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan wujud dan penyebab peristiwa campur kode. Metode penelitian ini yaitu deskriptif kualitatif. Data berupa peristiwa campur kode pada keterangan foto IG. Data diperoleh dari akun IG mahasiswa dan informan. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan dokumentasi dan wawancara. Data yang telah divalidasi dianalisisndengan analisis interaktif. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa wujud campur kode berupa kata dan frasa. Campur kode dilakukan karena lingkungan sosial dan menunjukkan keakraban.

Abstract

Dalam rangka mewujudkan perlindungan terhadap masyarakat pedesaan terhadap paham radikalisme maka pendidikan dan penguatan wawasan kebangsaan untuk masyarakat pedesaan diperlukan sebagai bentuk kepedulian dari setiap pihak, baik pemerintah, masyarakat, dan keluarga. Pendidikan dan penguatan wawasan kebangsaan untuk masyarakat pedesaan akan terbentuk jika semua pihak memiliki kesadaran akan pentingnya pendidikan nilai kebangsaan dimulai semenjak dini. Masyarakat saat ini sangat rentan disusupi oleh paham dan gerakan radikalisme. Hal ini dikarenakan belum ada satu pun kebijakan spesifik untuk melindungi atau memproteksi masyarakat dari penetrasi paham dan gerakan radikalisme. Untuk itu, perlu adanya langkah konkret dalam hal mencegah radikalisasi dan penanaman nilai-nilai kebangsaan. Pendidikan nilai kebangsaan pada masyarakat inilah yang menjadi dasar pembentukan awal karena meluruskan sebatang ranting jauh lebih mudah daripada meluruskan sebatang pohon, maka dari itu pendidikan nilai kebangsaan yang paling efektif adalah pendidikan pada masyarakat, terutama di pedesaan Pengembangan nilai-nilai budaya dan karakter bangsa di masyarakat harus dilakukan dengan tepat. Pengembangan nilai moral untuk masyarakat bisa dilakukan di dalam tiga tri pusat yang ada, yaitu, keluarga, lingkungan, dan masyarakat. Dalam pengembangan nilai moral untuk masyarakat perlu dilakukan dengan sangat hati-hati. Hal ini dikarenakan masyarakat adalah tempat berbagai macam karakter yang heterogen. Maka dari itu, tim pengabdi mengajukan kegiatan pengabdian berkaitan dengan penanaman nilai-nilai kebangsaan terhadap masyarakat pedesaan yang bertujuan untuk mengatasi perpecahbelahan masyarakat Indonesia ini dan mencegah radikalisme di masyarakat, mengingat banyaknya kelompok separatis lahir di Indonesia ini maka salah satu cara untuk memutuskan rantai gejolak yang bertujuan menghancurkan Negara Kesatuan Republik Indonesia (NKRI). Jadi, kegiatan pengabdian ini tidak hanya memberikan pembekalan tentang internalisasi nilai-nilai kebangsaan pada masyarakat tetapi juga akan diintegrasikan dengan aktivitas masyarakat dalam keseharian yang akan dibimbing secara komprehensif dengan mengambil tema penguatan wawasan kebangsaan Indonesia dan nasionalisme bagi masyarakat sebagai pilar bangsa.

Abstract

Malangans puppet is a shadow puppet that grows and develops in East Jawa, precisely in the Greater Malang area. Malangans puppet differs from other styles in the scene structure department, which is covered by five pathet (Javanese gamelan modes) concepts. The purpose of this research is to describe the structure of the scene using five pathet concepts with the sample of the Malangans puppet script, Gathotkaca Lair. This Study applied the descriptive qualitative method. The research data were drawn from the data source of the Malangans puppet script with the Gathotkaca Lairs play. The data collection employed content analysis techniques by evaluating several character dialogues that represent the scene structure in each pathet. The data analysis technique implemented the Miles & Huberman interactive model. The results of the study suggest that the scene structure in the Gathotkaca Lairs script is well packaged into five pathets. The five pathets are pathet sepuluh (tenth), pathet wolu (eight), pathet sanga (ninth), pathet miring, and pathet serang. Pathet sepuluh serves as the opening act, while pathet serang is the closing act. Keywords: Structur of the Scene,, Malangans Puppet, Pathet

Abstract

Learning in schools is inseparable from code switching and code mixing related to language politeness in schools as the implementation of character education. This study uses qualitative research using recording, note-taking, free-involvement listening, and interview techniques. The research location is at SMP PGRI 2 Wates as Blitar Regency, East Java Province, as a target school in the Teaching Campus 4-year 2022 program. This study's data source is speech or communication events between teachers and students in grades VII, VIII, and IX in SMP PGRI 2 Wates. The results obtained in learning at SMP PGRI 2 Wates code switching and code is mixing in classroom learning using Javanese and Indonesian languages, the use of Javanese language for students' teachers can use Javanese Krama so that there is an influence on language politeness as the implementation of character education and strengthening the profile of Pancasila students. The function of language politeness in uploading the Javanese language to students to the teacher makes the interactions that occur while learning more fun and comfortable. Besides, the intimacy between teachers and students can be established with aspects of code-switching and code-mixing in classroom learning. The influence of linguistic politeness in learning at SMP PGRI 2 Wates cannot be separated from the Javanese culture of the Wates community, which is still attached to Javanese uploads to respect older people or people who are respected in Javanese politeness.

Abstract

In facing the challenges of distance learning caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, teachers at SMP Negeri 1 Surakarta have worked to improve their skills in producing attractive and interactive digital teaching materials. Through training and workshops, teachers master the use of the Kvisoft application to create digital teaching materials that suit students' needs. This study uses a qualitative approach involving the participation of teachers as research subjects. The results of the study show that strengthening teacher competence in making digital teaching materials has a positive impact on learning. Teachers who are skilled in using the Kvisoft application are able to create teaching materials that are interesting, interactive, and according to the needs of students. Thus, strengthening teacher competence in making digital teaching materials with the Kvisoft application makes an important contribution in improving the quality of learning at SMP Negeri 1 Surakarta in the post-pandemic era. This article provides a deeper understanding of the importance of strengthening teacher competency in the production of digital teaching materials and provides practical guidance for schools and teachers in adopting this technology.

Abstract

Teaching Indonesian to speakers of other languages (TISOL) has been taught in 54 countries. This makes TISOL teaching must be done creatively and innovatively to succeed in internationalizing the Indonesian language. One of the interesting TISOL teaching is tourism-based teaching. This study aims to explain the TISOL learning process at UPT P3B Sebelas Maret University for Japanese Kokushikan University students through the use of educational tourism at Sangiran Museum. This research is qualitative research through a case study approach. Data and data sources in this study are in the form of Indonesian language learning events at Sangiran Museum for 18 TISOL students from Kokushikan University. Data collection techniques were carried out by participatory observation and in-depth interviews with TISOL teachers. Data credibility test was conducted by triangulating data sources and triangulating methods. The results showed that (1) Sangiran Museum can be utilized in TISOL learning about tourism material in Indonesia. (2) The implementation strategy is using a discovery learning model that is applied contextually. (3) The implication of this learning raises learning motivation, improves language skills in reading, listening, writing, and speaking, and can interact with Indonesian native speakers. This research is expected to increase the scientific treasures of TISOL and its teaching strategies.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the film "Langit Tak Selamanya Abu-Abu " based on its constituent elements on the sentence structure contained in the film's dialogue. This type and approach of research is qualitative/library research. The research data in this study is a phrase based on its constituent elements, while the source of the data is the film Langit Tak Forever Abu Karya Kemendikbud RI. Data collection techniques using documentation and data analysis techniques using content analysis The results of the study showed, in every dialogue delivered by the characters in the film " Langit Tak Selamanya Abu-Abu " which has a duration of 8 minutes 31 seconds, an analysis of Phrases based on their Constituent Elements can be found, namely 1) Endocentric Phrases, namely phrases that have distribution similarities with their constituent elements, in the film contains only 1 endocentric phrase, namely Attributive Endocentric Phrases, 2) Exocentric Phrases, which are phrases that have no distribution equation with other elements, in the film there are 2 exocentric phrases, namely Prepositional and Conjunctional Exocentric Phrases. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the analysis of phrases in the film " Langit Tak Selamanya Abu-Abu " based on its constituent elements, namely, found 8 data with a total of 48 phrases, with 30 attributive endocentric phrases, 15 conjunctional exocentric phrases, and 3 prepositional exocentric phrases.

Abstract

The enactment of Law No. 24 of 2009 concerning Flags, Languages and State Symbols and the National Anthem which is confirmed by PP No. 57 of 2014, Minister of Education and Culture Regulation No. 42 of 2018, and SK No. 0424/I/BS.00.01/2022, of course, must be obeyed by all Indonesian citizens. Governance of correspondence in government agencies is one that is regulated in the law, in particular Article 33 paragraph 1 which reads "Indonesian must be used in official communication in government and private work environments". Meanwhile, linguistic problems, such as spelling errors, word choice errors, sentence meaning errors, sentence composition errors, are rarely considered. There are many versions of letters sent by government agencies, especially at the village/kelurahan level. There are many variations and there is no standard one related to this correspondence because government officials do not yet have standard guidelines. There are so many mistakes made by government officials in making official letters. The target group for this community service is the sub-district in Donorojo Village, Mertoyudan District, Magelang Regency, Central Java Province which consists of 12 hamlets. This community service program will be carried out in three stages, namely planning, implementation, and evaluation. The implementation of the program is planned to last 6 months starting in mid-2023. This implementation begins with planning, implementation, and ends with evaluation.
