Abstract

Persaingan yang ketat di industri pariwisata membuat pemilik restoran dan bar memikirkan strategi yang berdampak pada kinerja bisnisnya. Layanan yang prima merupakan salah satu strategi bersaing. Dalam rangka untuk memperbaiki kualitas layanan, penelitian ini menyajikan sebuah studi kasus untuk mengidentifikasi atribut-atribut kualitas yang mempengaruhi kualitas layanan pada sebuah bar. Integrasi model kualitas DINESERV, CSI, IPA, dan DEMATEL digunakan dalam proses evaluasi kualitas layanan serta strategi perbaikan yang sesuai. Kuesioner digunakan untuk memperoleh data dari 110 pelanggan bar XYZ. Dari hasil penelitian didapatkan tiga atribut kualitas layanan kritis yang perlu diperbaiki.Kata kunci: DINESERV, CSI, IPA, DEMATEL, bar

Abstract

Abstrak Identifikasi metrik kinerja penjualan yang tepat sangat penting untuk keberhasilan setiap perusahaan dagang. Namun, untuk mendapatkan hasil kinerja yang tepat merupakan suatu tantangan dalam lingkungan penjualan yang kompleks. Salah satu alat untuk menjembatani kesenjangan antara penjualan dan tujuan perusahaan adalah balanced scorecard, yaitu suatu sistem manajemen yang secara luas digunakan untuk menyelaraskan visi perusahaan dengan kegiatan bisnis. Dalam makalah ini disajikan bagaimana manajemen dapat menggunakan kerangka kerja balanced scorecard sebagai masukan desain penting untuk menilai kinerja manajemen penjualan. Kata kunci: balanced scorecard,  perusahaan dagang, kinerja penjualan  Abstract Identifying the right sales performance metrics is critical to any trade company’s success. But getting the right performance results is a challenge in a complex marketing environment. One tool for bridging the gap between sales and corporate objectives is the balanced scorecard, a widely-used management system aligning corporate vision with business activities. Abstract

Abstrak Globalisasi ekonomi dan ketatnya persaingan merupakan tantangan baru bagi setiap perusahaan, terutama untuk usaha kecil menengah (UKM). UKM seharusnya dapat memuaskan pelanggan dengan meningkatkan kualitas produk. Dalam memperbaiki kualitas produk, metode survei sering dilakukan untuk memeroleh pendapat dan kebutuhan pelanggan. Namun, UKM di Indonesia dan negara-negara berkembang lainnya menghadapi masalah terkait dengan sumber daya dan pengarahan. Studi ini meneliti penggunaan data internal perusahaan sebagai input alternatif suara pelanggan menggantikan survei pelanggan. Hasil studi kasus pada industri makanan dan minuman menunjukkan bahwa suara konsumen yang didapat dari data internal lebih mudah bagi UKM dibandingkan dari survei pelanggan. Selanjutnya, Blue Ocean Strategy (BOS) and refined Kano model digunakan untuk menciptakan nilai pelanggan dan juga untuk memperoleh nilai dari pelanggan. Kata kunci:  nilai pelanggan, data internal, model refined Kano,  Blue Ocean Strategy, UKM  Abstract Economic globalization and intense competition pose new challenges to all companies especially for small and medium enterprises (SMEs). SMEs should be able to satisfy their customers by improving the quality of their products. In improving the quality of products, survey methods are often conducted to obtain customer opinions and needs. However, SMEs in Indonesia and other developing countries often face problems implementing those survey methods due to lack of resources and direction. This study examines the use of company’s internal data as an alternative input for the voice of customer (VOC) replacing a customer survey. The results of this case study in food and beverage industries show that the VOC from the company’s internal data are much simpler than that of the customer need survey. Moreover, Blue Ocean Strategy (BOS) and refined Kano model are applied to create Customs value and to obtain value from the customers. Keywords: customer value, internal data, refined Kano model, Blue Ocean Strategy, SMEs

Abstract

Abstrak Kualitas layanan merupakan faktor penting yang berpengaruh terhadap kepuasan pelanggan. Kualitas layanan yang prima menjadi sangat penting karena maskapai berusaha untuk mendapatkan dan mempertahankan pelanggannya, serta sebagai penentu utama kinerja maskapai. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi dan menganalisis atribut layanan pada tiga maskapai bertarif rendah dengan menggunakan tujuh dimensi kualitas maskapai yang dikembangkan oleh Gilbert dan Wong, ANOVA, dan IPGA. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tidak terdapat perbedaan yang berarti terkait dengan kualitas layanan ketiga maskapai tersebut, namun terdapat perbedaan yang berarti pada kualitas layanan berdasarkan tingkat pendapatan, pendidikan, dan kewarganegaraan penumpang Kata kunci:  Kualitas layanan, maskapai bertarif rendah,  ANOVA, IPGAAbstract Service quality is a crucial factor affecting customer satisfaction. High service quality is paramount to acquire and retain customers at the same time to serve as the main indicator of the airline performance. This research empirically investigates the service quality attributes at three low cost carriers in Indonesia using 7-airline service quality dimension instrument developed by Gilbert and Wong (2003), analysis of variance (ANOVA), and Importance Performance Gap Analysis (IPGA). The results suggested that there were no significant differences regarding the service quality between Indonesia AirAsia, Lion Air, and Citilink. Significant differences were found in the service quality based on the passengers’ income, education, and nationality. Keywords: service quality, low cost carrier, ANOVA, IPGA

Abstract

The performance of research and publications was an important measure of the academic reputation in higher education institution. A leading private university in Jakarta had poor performance in research and publications. This research showed that the cause was the lack of good data management mechanism of research and publication. Therefore, it could not give a good report. This research has created a conceptual model of data management research and publications by utilizing information system database. It would produce reports that required by both internal and external stakeholders.

Abstract

Peningkatan penggunaan televisi modern berbasis internet (IPTV dan OTT) di Indonesia serta sumber penunjang hidup yang sama dan terbatas mengancam keberadaan platform video lama (televisi satelit dan televisi kabel). Teori niche diadaptasi dari studi ekologi digunakan untuk mengukur persaingan dinamis di antara media. Melalui tiga konsep pengukuran teori niche, niche breadth, niceh overlap, dan competitive superiority, hubungan persaingan di antara keempat platform video dapat diketahui.Metode penelitian dilakukan melalui kuesioner dan focus group discussion. Kuesioner mengenai gratifikasi yang diberikan setiap platform disebar secara online dan langsung kepada 502 responden. Focus group discussiondilakukan dalam dua kelompok dengan masing-masing 6 responden. Hasil penelitian juga akan dianalisis berdasarkan siklus hidup media. Terdapat 4 hal yang dapat disimpulkan dari penelitian ini: 1) OTT merupakan platform generalis, IPTV dan televisi kabel tergolong cenderung generalis, dan televisi satelit tergolong spesialis 2) Persaingan paling tinggi terjadi di antara televisikabel dan IPTV, 3) OTT merupakan platform paling kompetitif atau superior sedangkan televisi satelit yang paling tidak komptitif, 4) Televisi satelit berada dalam siklus defensive resistance, televisi kabel dalam siklus defensiveresistance dan adaptation, IPTV dalam siklus growth, dan OTT dalam siklus maturation.

Abstract

This study aims to identify and analyze the risk factors of work accidents. Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) and Fuzzy Logic approach are applied. The information obtained from the workers is expressed using fuzzy linguistics terms, and a FMEA method is proposed to determine the risk priority of failure modes. The results indicate that injuries caused when struck by an object are the highest risk factor of work accident (FRPN = 886). Some work improvements are suggested to reduce or eliminate the work risks.Keywords: Risk factors, work accident, FMEA, Fuzzy

Abstract

TransJakarta was a Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) system in Jakarta. It was designed to provide Jakartacitizens with a fast public transportation system to help reduce rush hour traffic. After operating more thanone decade, many suggestions and critics were given related to service quality. IPA and PGCV methods wereapplied to determine which service attributes should be improved and their priorities. In this research, eightservice attributes were identified as critical attributes (on first quadrant of IPA diagram). The higher value ofPGCV index indicated the priority level of attributes. Based on its priority level, the order were 1) easinessof giving suggestions, 2) ticket queue, 3) easiness of complaints, 4) the facilities for passengers with specialneeds, 5) employees appearance, 6) transportation cost, 7) accessibility, and 8) the number of bus.

Abstract

This research presents job analysis and evaluation in order to design salary structure of a textile company. Preliminary interview, questionnaire, observation and focus group discussions were applied for job analysis. In addition, a point factor system and analytical hierarchy process methods were used for doing job evaluation. Job description and job specification and basic salary of each job were produced in this study.
