Abstract

Sebelum modifikasi, akumulasi sludge mencapai 23.430 Kg, sedangkan setelah modifikasi, jumlahnya turun drastis menjadi hanya 7.300 Kg. Abstract

Abstract

In the face of competition in the field of Education, universities are required to improve the quality of the learning process. The aspects included in the learning process are practicum activities. In the Industrial Engineering study program, there are several core practicums, one of which is the Integrated Industrial Engineering Practicum. This study aims to determine the quality of current PTIT practicum activities by measuring the level of satisfaction of students who take PTIT courses. The method used in measuring student satisfaction in this paper is the Service quality method (SERVQUAL). The SERVQUAL method is a method that pays attention to 5 dimensions of service quality, namely reliability, responsiveness, assurance, empathy, and tangible. This measurement is carried out to identify student expectations and perceptions from the five dimensions of Service Quality by looking at the gap value that occurs due to the mismatch between student expectations and perceptions. The data processed in this study was questionnaire data from 30 respondents. Before the analysis was carried out, data testing was carried out with validity and reality tests. The results of this study are dimensions that are not in accordance with student expectations, including tangible, assurance, and empathy dimensions, and those that are in accordance with student expectations are dimensions of reliability and responsiveness. Abstract

This research is research in the area of Operations Management which are discuss the problem of production capacity planning in a production system. The availability of production capacity is the aspect that must be considered to support the production process and fulfill the target of production. The case study was carried out in a business of making and selling cassava chips which experienced an increase in demand levels. An analysis of the availability of production capacity is needed. The target of current production level is also needs to be evaluated based on forecasting results. The aims of the research is to determine the targets of production based on forecasting results and evaluate the production capacity of the case study organization using RCCP method. Forecasting methods that is deployed in this research is the Moving Average Method, Double Moving Average Method, and Single Exponential Method (∝=0,1) since the historical data to be used are time series data. Implementation RCCP method is carried out by making a Master Production Schedule, Bill of Material, and Routing File. The Findings show that there is an increasing trend in demand and the production targets set by the manager must be adjusted to the forecasting results. In terms of production capacity, a comparison of Availability Capacity and Requirement Capacity shows that the company’s production capacity is still adequate even though the demand tends to increase. Abstract

Currently, developments and changes are occurring very rapidly in the garment industry. Technological advances and the recent Covid-2019 pandemic have led to a significant increase in online product purchases. This has had quite a big impact, as the movement of materials within the industry can change significantly. Such changes can render material movement less efficient, leading to a decrease in work productivity. Therefore, it is necessary to redesign the layout to ensure efficient material movement. The goal of this layout redesign is to minimize the total distance moved. Computer-aided layout (CAL) has garnered much interest from researchers, as it offers benefits such as generating numerous alternative layout improvements in a short time. The method used for redesigning the layout in this research is one CAL method, namely the Block Layout Overview with Layout Planning (BLOCPLAN) method. In this case study, data processing will be carried out using BLOCPLAN-90 software. The total material movement distance in the initial layout is 119,885.25 meters per month, while the total distance of material movement in the proposed layout is 61,840.33 meters per month. This indicates a decrease in the total material movement distance of 58,044.92 meters per month, or a reduction of 48.42 percent. With a decrease in the total material movement distance, it is expected that work efficiency and productivity will increase.

Abstract

Medical errors caused by human can occur in health services at the hospitals. Various solutions can be applied to avoid the problem of medical errors. One of the solution is Human Factor Analysis and Classification System (HFACS) which is a systematic method that analyze errors made by humans classified in several categories of error factors. HFACS also assesses all damage that occurs to the system resulting in work accidents. This study proposes the handling of priority factors of accidents caused by humans where the priority is based on a classification system on identifying HFACS. Selection for the priority of increasing human error factors in HFACS uses the Multi Criteria Decision Making method, which is an integration of F-AHP and F-TOSPIS, that able to combine historical data and expert opinion so as to get priority on human error factors. It was found that the weight calculation results for the effect criteria were 57%, reproducibility was 25.3 % and prevention was 17.7% with the main priority of human error factors is inadequate supervision of 10.7%.
