Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui proses penentuan rute dalam pengiriman barang di PT Pos Logistics Indonesia. Pada PT Pos Logistik Indonesia kegiatan transportasi masih belum mempertimbangkan rute, karena dalam proses pengiriman pengemudi kurang mempertimbangkan rute yang masih satu rute tetapi lokasi yang berbeda. Pemilihan metode yang dapat digunakan di PT Pos Logistics Indonesia, yaitu dengan matriks penghematan, dalam mencari rute pengiriman barang terlebih dahulu harus mengetahui terlebih dahulu tujuan yang akan dituju. Ini dapat memengaruhi rute pengiriman dan menurunkan biaya bahan bakar untuk pengiriman barang. Penentuan rute menggunakan metode matrix hemat adalah untuk mengetahui rute terpendek yang akan dilalui. Hasil yang diperoleh dari rute terpendek adalah biaya bahan bakar berkurang hingga Rp. 1. 452.300 yang awalnya berjumlah Rp. 5.662.425 dengan penurunan sebesar Rp. 4.210.125. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan Genetic Algorithm dengan mutation probability 0.1 melalui 50.000 iterasi,   didapatkan jarak terendah dan efektif (fitness value) sebesar 4222 km.Lebih baik jika PT Pos Logistics Indonesia dalam menentukan rute pengiriman dapat menggunakan metode Saving matrix sehingga biaya yang dikeluarkan untuk bahan bakar minyak dapat ditekan dan dapat menggunakan genetic algortihm untuk penentuan rute yang optimal.

Abstract

This study evaluates the performance of various path planning algorithms for multi-UAV systems in dynamic and cluttered environments, focusing on critical metrics such as path length, path smoothness, collision avoidance, and computational efficiency. We examined several algorithms, including A*, Genetic Algorithm, Modified A*, and Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO), using comprehensive simulations that reflect realistic operational conditions. Key evaluation metrics were quantified using standardized methods, ensuring the reproducibility and clarity of the findings. The A* Path Planner demonstrated efficiency by producing the shortest and smoothest paths, albeit with minor collision avoidance limitations. The Genetic Algorithm emerged as the most robust, balancing path length, smoothness, and collision avoidance, with zero violations and high feasibility. Modified A* also performed well but exhibited slightly less smooth paths. In contrast, algorithms like Cuckoo Search and Artificial Immune System faced significant performance challenges, especially in adapting to dynamic environments. Our findings highlight the superior performance of the Genetic Algorithm and Modified A* under these specific conditions. We also discuss the potential for hybrid approaches that combine the strengths of these algorithms for even better performance. This study's insights are critical for practitioners looking to optimize multi-UAV systems in challenging scenarios.

Abstract

The First-Person Shooter (FPS) game genre has gained significant popularity in the e-sports industry during 2022-2023. This study investigates the impact of physical environment and mouse settings on shooting accuracy in FPS gameplay. Participants were divided into beginner and advanced groups based on experience and playtime, or “flight hours.” Key variables include environmental factors—such as lighting and room temperature—and mouse settings, including mouse weight and DPI. Experiments were conducted using the AimLab application, with ANOVA and ANOM statistical tests used to determine optimal conditions. For advanced players, the ideal settings were identified as a room temperature of 16°C, no lighting, and a mouse weight of 100 grams. For beginners, the optimal condition was a room temperature of 16°C.

Abstract

Agriculture can benefit from robotics technology to overcome the drawback of limited human labor working in this sector. One of the robot applications in agriculture is a surveillance robot to monitor the condition. This paper describes a surveillance robot that is powered by a capacitor bank charged by a mini solar panel. The solar-powered robot is well-suited for deployment in open agricultural areas in Indonesia, where the irradiance is high. This potential is excellent for generating electricity and charging electric vehicles, such as those used in agriculture. The surveillance robot developed and tested in this study has been successfully deployed in an agriculture-like setting with all-terrain contours and the capacity to avoid obstacles. During high irradiance sunny weather, the shortest charging time was 2 hours. Hence, the proposed technology is effective for designing a surveillance robot for agricultural applications.

Abstract

Agriculture is one of the areas that can benefit from robotics technology, as it faces issues such as a shortage of human labor and access to less arid terrain. Harvesting is an important step in agriculture since workers are required to work around the clock. The red ripe tomatoes should go to the nearest market, while the greenest should go to the farthest market. Harvesting robots can benefit from Neural Network-based image processing to ensure robust detection. The vision system should assist the mobility system in moving precisely and at the appropriate speed. The design and implementation of a harvesting robot are described in this study. The efficiency of the proposed strategy is tested by picking red-ripened tomatoes while leaving the yellowish ones out of the experimental test bed. The experiment results demonstrate that the effectiveness of the proposed method in harvesting the right tomatoes is 80%.

Abstract

The logistical challenges in rural areas, which often face limited infrastructure, varied terrains, and dispersed populations, often lead to inefficient and costly delivery systems. Recent developments in Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) technology offer a theoretical framework for overcoming these challenges. This research proposes a comprehensive pattern language specifically designed for multi-UAV logistics operations in rural settings. The proposed system integrates critical components such as LiDAR-based map generation, altitude information storage, partial goal estimation, and collision avoidance into a unified framework. Unlike existing research that typically focuses on isolated aspects like route optimization or payload management, this system features an advanced path planning algorithm capable of real-time environmental assessment and direction-aware navigation. Focus group discussions with logistics experts from Talaud Island, North Sulawesi, Indonesia informed the design and refinement of the proposed patterns, ensuring that they address the practical needs of rural logistics. Our analysis suggests that this system offers a theoretical foundation for significantly improving the efficiency, reliability, and sustainability of delivering essential goods and services to rural areas, thereby supporting equitable development and improving the quality of life in these communities. While no empirical data is presented, the framework serves as a scalable foundation for future implementations of UAV-based rural logistics systems.

Abstract

Penelitian mengenai sistem perparkiran dan sistem antrian telah banyak dilakukan sebelumnya. Namun penelitian yang membahas sistem perparkiran yang berpengaruh ke sistem antrian dan perhitungan kebutuhan lahan parkir belum banyak dilakukan. Panjangnya antrian mobil di depan Gerbang 2 Universitas “X” banyak dikeluhkan mahasiswa dan mengganggu kelancaran arus lalu lintas depan kampus. Oleh karena itu, akan diusulkan sistem perparkiran dan penentuan kebutuhan lahan parkir di universitas tersebut. Langkah pertama yang dilakukan adalah pengujian kesamaan rata-rata untuk laju kedatangan mobil dan lama waktu parkir antar rentang waktu dan antar hari dengan SPSS. Selanjutnya dilakukan penentuan distribusi laju kedatangan mobil dan lama waktu parkir, lama waktu pelayanan manless dan loket keluar dengan Stat Fit. Kemudian dibuat model simulasi sistem antrian saat ini dan usulan dengan program Promodel. Dengan melakukan perubahan lokasi pintu masuk, posisi manless dan loket operator keluar, terjadi penurunan lama waktu menunggu sebesar 95,88% di manless Gedung A, 42,31% di manless Gedung B, 79,40% di drop-off point dan panjang antrian maksimum di depan gerbang masuk menurun sebesar 91,40%. Kebutuhan maksimum lahan parkir Gedung B adalah 394 mobil. Dengan diijinkannya parkir paralel, lahan parkir dapat menampung 392 mobil. Oleh karena kekurangan lahan hanya sebesar 2 mobil, maka lahan parkir Gedung B yang ada saat ini masih mencukupi kebutuhan.Kata Kunci:  Antrian, Lahan Parkir, Manless, Sistem Perparkiran, Simulasi

Abstract

Mechanical strength in weld joints is important in construction strength. This research takes the issue of SMAW weld joints strength when receiving bending loads on hopper products made from stainless steel 304. Two types of bending loads identified: root bend and face bend load. This research aims to obtain welding process parameters that are able to maximize the bending strength value of SMAW welding joints on stainless steel 304 material. Taguchi's experimental design uses current strength factors and electrode diameter, with an L8 (4121) Orthogonal Array. The novelty of this research is the use of response variables for root bend and face bend strength values which are optimized simultaneously. Multi-response optimization using Grey Relational Analysis method. The results of multi-response optimization are applied in confirmation tests to obtain actual results. The combination of a current strength of 65 A and an electrode diameter of 2.6 mm produces an optimal bending strength value with a desirability of 0.7475. These parameters produce actual face bend strength response of 1071.01 MPa (an increase of 5.38%) and a root bend strength of 1065.86 MPa (an increase of 17.36%).

Abstract

Means clustering algorithm for customer segmentation in the retail sector. The background of the research is based on the need to gain a deeper understanding of customer behavior in order to develop more effective Customer Relationship Management (CRM) strategies tailored to each customer segment. The data used in this study was collected from sales transactions over a period of three years, from April 1, 2021, to August 23, 2023, totaling 62,677 transactions. The primary objective is to enhance CRM strategies by categorizing customers based on their purchasing behavior. The K-Means algorithm was employed to group customers according to their RFM values, while the Elbow Method and Silhouette Analysis were used to determine the optimal number of clusters. As a result, customers were classified into three main segments: General Development, General Maintenance, and Important Maintenance. Each segment is characterized by a unique combination of recency, frequency, and monetary values, providing insights into targeted marketing approaches. Short-term strategies include personalized promotions and targeted campaigns to encourage repeat purchases and increase the average order value. Long-term initiatives focus on developing loyalty programs and VIP services to enhance customer retention and lifetime value. These findings emphasize the effectiveness of data-driven CRM strategies in optimizing customer engagement and profitability in the competitive retail landscape. Penelitian ini mengkaji penerapan analisis RFM (Recency, Frequency, Monetary) dan algoritma clustering K-Means dalam melakukan segmentasi pelanggan di sektor ritel. Latar belakang penelitian ini didasarkan pada pentingnya memahami perilaku pelanggan secara lebih mendalam untuk menyusun strategi Customer Relationship Management (CRM) yang lebih efektif dan disesuaikan dengan kebutuhan masing-masing segmen pelanggan. Data yang digunakan berasal dari transaksi penjualan selama periode tiga tahun, yakni dari 1 April 2021 hingga 23 Agustus 2023, dengan total sebanyak 62.677 transaksi. Tujuan utama penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan strategi CRM melalui pengelompokan pelanggan berdasarkan perilaku pembelian mereka. Algoritma K-Means digunakan untuk mengklasifikasikan pelanggan berdasarkan nilai RFM, sementara Metode Elbow dan Analisis Silhouette diterapkan untuk menentukan jumlah cluster yang optimal. Berdasarkan hasil analisis, pelanggan terbagi menjadi tiga segmen utama: General Development, General Maintenance, dan Important Maintenance. Masing-masing segmen ditentukan oleh kombinasi unik dari nilai recency, frequency, dan monetary, yang memberikan wawasan dalam menentukan strategi pemasaran yang lebih tepat sasaran. Strategi jangka pendek mencakup promosi yang dipersonalisasi dan kampanye yang ditargetkan untuk mendorong pembelian berulang dan meningkatkan nilai rata-rata pesanan. Sedangkan inisiatif jangka panjang berfokus pada pengembangan program loyalitas dan layanan VIP untuk meningkatkan retensi pelanggan serta nilai seumur hidup mereka. Hasil penelitian ini menegaskan efektivitas strategi CRM berbasis data dalam mengoptimalkan keterlibatan pelanggan dan profitabilitas perusahaan di lingkungan ritel yang kompetitif.

Abstract

This community service program aims to empower the community by processing healthy Indonesian food, especially tempeh. Tempeh, a traditional food rich in health benefits, has enormous potential to improve the community's economic welfare. This activity at Unika Atma Jaya Campus 3 in BSD involved the Faculty of Technobiology, Tempe Research & Development Centre, and the Kampung Tempe Ciomas Tourism Village group. Activities include 'the Tempe Processed Creation Competition' and workshops on 'Hygienic Tempe Production' and 'Making Tempe Skincare and Body Scrub.' The competition aimed to increase participants' creativity in processing tempeh into various innovative dishes. Meanwhile, the workshop provided participants with practical knowledge on how to process healthy and hygienic tempeh. As a result of this activity, 25 groups participated in the competition, and 54 participants attended the workshop. The results of this activity are an increase in public understanding of the benefits of tempeh and an increase in consumption and sales of tempeh products in the community. Thus, this program not only contributes to public health but also to the improvement of the local economy through the development of innovative tempeh products.
