Abstract

Objectives: This study seeks to validate the impact of user competency and partnership programs on decision-making through the implementation of an Accounting Information System (AIS).Design/method/approach: Employing a quantitative approach, the research focuses on Pekanbaru City Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), utilizing purposive sampling for sample selection. Primary data are collected through a questionnaire, and data analysis involves descriptive methods and Partial Last Square (PLS) data analysis.Results/findings: The study reveals that the knowledge and skills possessed by AIS users contribute to enhanced AIS application in MSMEs, facilitating the timely, routine, accurate, and comprehensive generation of financial information or reports aligned with user needs. The competence of AIS users also positively impacts decision-making, enabling MSMEs to establish goals, provide alternatives, minimize uncertainty, and evaluate decisions made. However, the partnership program associated with AIS in Pekanbaru City MSMEs is currently suboptimal, exhibiting no significant effect on AIS implementation.Theoretical contribution: This study explores the novel examination of the impact of a partnership program on decision-making through the implementation of an accounting information system..Practical contribution: The findings indicate that the existing partnership program does not influence AIS implementation. Thus, government or related institutions can enhance similar programs by prioritizing improvements in AIS implementation.Limitations: The study's limitations include the non-classification of MSMEs into micro, small, and medium categories during questionnaire distribution and a sample size comprising only 83%.

Abstract

Introduction: Nutritional status is often associated with mortality and disease morbidity, including liver cirrhosis. Assessment of Tricep Skin Fold (TSF) and mid-arm muscle circumference (MAMC) is an easy parameter of nutritional status. Objective: This study aims to determine the relationship between nutritional status and clinical outcomes in patients with liver cirrhosis. Methods: The study used a retrospective cohort observational design with a sample of 57 patients with liver cirrhosis with various etiologies. The data comes from the results of anthropometric measurements of patients in the poly or inpatient ward and interviews regarding the history of the disease and complications experienced during the last month. Data analysis used the Chi-square test with a 95% Confidence Interval (CI), p < 0.05, to analyze the relationship between nutritional status (TSF and MAMC) with clinical outcomes of liver cirrhosis (hematemesis melena, degree of esophageal varices grade Hepatic encephalopathy (HE) and degree of ascites). Results: Based on the TSF and MAMC values, data on cirrhotic patients who experienced nutritional status with the “low” criteria were 33.3% and 57.89%, respectively. The 'low” TSF value significantly correlates with the HE incidence (p = 0.049) with the RR value of 0.461. The relationship between MAMC and the incidence of ascites was statistically significant (0.004), with an RR value of 0.462. Conclusion: Nutritional status affects the incidence of HE and ascites in liver cirrhosis patients

Abstract

Education in Indonesia provides the widest opportunities for students to develop themselves. With the Independent Learning Curriculum, students are encouraged to be more creative and innovative. One of the flagship programs of the independent learning curriculum is the Teaching Campus. The teaching campus program is part of the independent campus program, which has made an important contribution to the progress of education in Indonesia. Students from the teaching campus will be placed in various assignment schools, with the main target of this program being elementary schools (SD) and junior high schools located in the region. 4T (Frontier, Outermost, Disadvantaged, and Transmigration Zones), as well as schools with accreditation below A. The aim of this service is to improve the literacy skills of students at SD Negeri Tangkisan, Bayan sub-district, Purworejo Regency. The partner involved is SD Negeri Tangkisan. This service is carried out in three stages: preparation by attending debriefing and observing placement schools; and implementation of the Teaching Campus program. The approach used in this research is a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. In data collection techniques, the author uses documentation techniques for each activity carried out and then reviews them in several bibliographies. The results of the service show that there are changes and good impacts for students, teachers, and schools, such as increasing the quality of students' reading skills, facilitating reading rooms, providing assistance to the School Literacy Movement, and assisting in adapting technology and administration in the school library. The school feels helped by these activities. Students also feel happy, enthusiastic, and motivated to come to the library, visit the reading corner during breaks, and are active in the school literacy movement.

Abstract

AbstractHepatitis B is an illness resulting from the hepatitis B virus, which can spread through both horizontal and vertical transmission. According to the World Health Organization (WHO) in 2019, approximately 296 million individuals across the globe were afflicted with hepatitis B, with an anticipated annual increase of 1.5 million cases. Various approaches and solutions have been implemented to prevent and address the impact of this disease, including hepatitis B immunization policies from birth. According to the Regulation of the Minister of Health No. 25 of 2015, other approaches are also being pursued through health promotion using various media. This study aims to determine the effectiveness and factors related to public knowledge about hepatitis B through interactive educational media for the community in Gondanglegi Village, Malang Regency. A total of 176 respondents completed the questionnaire, with 75% being female and 24% male. The majority of respondents fell within the age range of 51-60 years (34.7%). The Wilcoxon test results show a significant difference between pre-test and post-test scores (p=0.000). The Spearman test, which relates age and the last level of education to pre-test and post-test scores, reveals a significant relationship between pre-test scores and age (p=0.000, r=-0.458) as well as the last level of education (p=0.000, r=0.472). The correlation analysis results indicate that older age is associated with lower pre-test scores, while higher levels of education are associated with higher pre-test scores. A similar pattern is observed in the correlation test between post-test scores and age (p=0.082, r=-0.204) and the last level of education (p=0.013, r=0.013). These results indicate that the community engagement program to increase awareness of hepatitis B has successfully improved participants' knowledge, as reflected in the difference between pre-test and post-test scores."

Abstract

Pada areal gedung Universitas Tanjungpura saat ini yang memiliki areal gedung sangat luas. Dalam rangka memberikan pelayanan yang baik, untuk civitas universitas yang bekerja di setiap ruang pelayanan administrasi dan ruang lainnya, fasilitas standar yang diperlukan berupa dispenser air minum kemasan isi ulang. Dispenser air minum kemasan isi ulang ini dibutuhkan lebih dari 40 ruangan, tanpa ada sistem pemantau sebagai alat bantu maka kebutuhan air minum yang tersedia dipastikan tidak terpenuhi. Dengan dirancangnya suatu sistem monitoring multi dispenser air minum otomatis dengan teknologi Internet of Things (IoT) sebuah solusi dari permasalahan kebutuhan air minum. Dispenser air minum otomatis berbasis IoT dapat disebar diberbagai lokasi ruangan (portable) yang terjangkau jaringan internet, untuk  dapat diketahui posisi. Dispenser dapat bekerja secara pintar, mengisi wadah air minum dalam gelas sesuai settingan, range mulai 100 ml hingga 250 ml. Dispenser air otomatis juga dapat menggunakan 2 sumber energi listrik, yaitu listrik PLN atau energi panel surya. Volume air pada galon dapat di-monitoring secara online, dengan empat kondisi, penuh, setengah, hampir habis, kosong, notifikasi berupa chatbot WA tentang kondisi air terkirim ke handphone penanggung jawab. Hasil perancangan sistem multi dispenser otomatis bekerja sesuai dengan perancangan, persentasi kesalahan air yang dikeluarkan 0,03%. Tidak terjadi pemborosan, air meluber saat pengisian kedalam gelas. Sistem yang dirancang sangat berguna untuk unit pelayanan kebutuhan air minum pada masyarakat perkantoran atau kantor layanan masyarakat.

Abstract

This study aims to determine (1) Does the competence of village financial management officials affect the accountability of village financial management, (2) Does the government's internal control system affect the accountability of village financial management, (3) Does community participation affect the accountability of village financial management.This study uses a questionnaire, the questionnaire is an instrument to obtain data by providing a list of questions that will be filled by respondents who were determined as research samples. The research sample is village officials who manage village finances, using the saturated sample method. The unit of analysis in this study consists of: Village Head, Secretary, and Kaur Element. So that the total sample in this study was 99 village officials. The analytical method used in the study is structural equation modeling (SEM) and the analysis instrument used is partial least squares (PLS) software.The results showed that the difficulty of competence of village financial management apparatus, the government's internal control system, and community participation affected the accountability of village financial management.Keywords: the competence of the village financial management apparatus, the government’s internalcontrol system, community participation

Abstract

This study aim to examine and to analyze the effect of public accountability, financial report transparency, organizational commitment and the quality of human resources on village financial management. The public accountability variable uses five indicators, namely legal accountability, process accountability, program accountability, policy accountability and financial accountability. The variable of financial report transparency uses four indicators, namely planning, implementation, supervision and accountability. The variable of organizational commitment uses three indicators, namely affective, sustainability and normative. The variable of human resource quality uses three indicators, namely knowledge, skills and attitudes. Meanwhile, the village financial management variable uses five indicators, namely planning, implementation, administration, reporting and accountability. This research includes quantitative research. The total population in this study were 128 village officials in the villages of Concong, Kempas and Keritang, Indragiri Hilir Regency. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling. Data measurement scale with Likert scale. The hypothesis were examined with multiple regression analysis approach and the statistical program used was SPSS 25. The results of this study indicate that public accountability, financial report transparency, organizational commitment and the quality of human resources have a direct and significant effect on village financial management.Keywords: Village Financial Management, Public Accountability, Transparency of Financial Statement, Organizational Commitment and Quality of Human Resources.

Abstract

This study was aimed to examine the effect of organizational commitment, rewarding, the fercy level of fraud and personal cost of reporting to whistleblowing intention. Sample of this study is head of organizational regional device, head of subfinance, and treasurer who working in the Regional Device Organization Dumai city at 2020. The sampling method is used purposive sampling methode with total 102 respondents and the population 34 Regional Device Organization who used in this study. The data source used in the study was the primary data. Analysis of data is carried out using multiple regression analysis with the program of SPSS version 25.0 windows. The result proved that: (1) organizational commitment had a effect to Whistleblowing Intention. (2) rewarding had a effect to Whistleblowing Intention. (3) the fercy level of fraud had effect to Whistleblowing Intention. Abstract

Abstract                The development of electronic component and circuit technology is able to produce a direct current voltage power supply system or more briefly DC (Direct Current), which is produced by converting the input voltage to the desired output voltage form (DC to DC converter). In its development, there are three types of DC to DC converter types, namely, boost converter (step up), buck converter (step down),and  buck-boost converter (step up and step down). Of the three types, there have been several developments that have been carried out, as one example is the shunt buck converter that will be used in this study.                The simulation test result of the shunt buck converter circuit carried out by means of 3 approaches, namely open loop, close loop with PID control, and close loop with fuzzy logic control can produce an output voltage value that is smaller than the input voltage value given, this is accordance with the function of the buck converter itself. In addition, the efficiency value obtained from the three experiments with the previously mentioned approaches has a fairly high value ranging from 65% - 99% with the highest efficiency obtained being 98,7%. Keyword: Buck Converter, Efficiency, Fuzzy Logic, PID, Shunt Abstrak                                Perkembangan teknologi komponen dan rangkaian elektronika mampu menghasilkan sistem penyedia daya tegangan arus searah atau lebih singkatnya DC (Direct Current), yang dihasilkan dengan cara mengkonversi tegangan masukan ke bentuk tegangan keluaran yang diinginkan (DC to DC converter).Pada perkembangannya ada tiga tipe tipe DC to DC converter yaitu, boost converter (step up), buck converter (step down), dan buck-boost converter (step up dan step down). Dari tiga tipe tersebut sudah ada beberapa pengembangan yang telah dilakukan, sebagai salah satu contohnya yaitu shunt buck converter yang akan digunakan pada penelitian ini.                                Hasil uji simulasi rangkaian shunt buck converter yang dilakukan dengan cara 3 pendekatan yaitu open loop, close loop dengan kontrol PID, dan close loop dengan kontrol logika fuzzy dapat menghasilkan nilai tegangan keluaran yang lebih kecil dari nilai tegangan masukan yang diberikan, hal ini sesuai dengan fungsi dari buck converter itu sendiri. Selain itu, nilai efisiensi yang didapatkan dari ketiga percobaan dengan pendekatan yang telah disebutkan sebelumnya memiliki nilai yang terbilang tinggi yang berkisar antara 65% - 99% dengan efisiensi tertinggi yang didapatkan adalah 98,7%.Keyword: Buck Converter, Efisiensi, Logika Fuzzy, PID, Shunt.
