Abstract

Optimizing the performance of a teacher is very important to support a quality learning process. To support the improvement of a teacher's performance, a crucial role in the leadership style of the principal, and the competence of teachers in a comprehensive manner is needed. This study aims to analyze the effect of principal leadership and teacher competence on teacher performance. This research uses a quantitative approach to causality. Data were collected through documentation and questionnaires. This study used a sample of 98 respondents with the determination of the sample size using the saturated sample formula. A partial least square is applied to examine the relationship between teacher performance, principal leadership, and teacher competence. The results of this study indicate that the principal's leadership variable has a significant contribution to improving teacher performance. Furthermore, the competencies possessed by a teacher also have a significant contribution to improving teacher performance.

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to test and analyze the influence organizational culture  and principals’s leadership on teacher’s performance which is moderated by teacher’s competence. The sample in this reseacrh was 98 permanent teachers from the Yayasan Perguruan Sultan Agung Pematangsiantar. Data collection was carried out by means of the questionnaire method. Methods used in this research were structural equation model partial least square (SEM-PLS). The results of this study indicate organizational culture does not significantly influence the teacher’s performance, the principal's leadership significantly influences the teacher’s performance, teacher competency significantly influences the teacher’s performance. Teacher’s competence does not moderate the relationship between organizational culture and teacher, teacher competence does not moderate the relationship between the principal's leadership and the teacher's performance of Yayasan Perguruan Sultan Agung Pematangsiantar.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis ketercapaian indikator-indikator standar pendidik dan tenaga kependidikan di SMA Swasta Sultan Agung Pematangsiantar sekaligus solusi penyelesaiannya. Penelitian ini termasuk penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dengan pengumpulkan data berupa wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dari 19 indikator terdapat 8 indikator yang mendapat nilai A, 4 indikator mendapat nilai B, 2 indikator mendapat nilai C, 1 indikator mendapat nilai D dan 4 indikator mendapat nilai E. Dengan demikian persentasi ketercapaian standar pendidik dan tenaga kependidikan di SMA Swasta Sultan Agung Pematangsiantar adalah 64%.Terhadap indikator standar pendidik dan tenaga kependidikan yang belum terpenuhi hendaknya adanya kerjasama antara yayasan, pimpinan dan guru SMA Sultan Agung Pematangsiantar untuk memenuhinya agar mendapat nilai maksimal untuk akreditasi mendatang. Indikator yang telah terpenuhi kiranya dapat terus ditingkatkan untuk meningkatkan mutu pendidikan khususnya di SMA Swasta Sultan Agung Pematangsiantar.

Abstract

Teamwork in the organization is considered crucial to encourage continuous performance improvement. Teamwork will become a driving force that has energy and synergy for individuals who are members of teamwork. Communication will run well based on awareness of the responsibilities of each member. The purpose of implementing this service is to help those who need understanding and practice implementing effective teamwork when providing services to the community. Partners are posyandu cadres in the Kahean Village with the address Jl. Tualang, No. 28, Kel. Kahean, Kec. North Siantar. The stages of implementing this event include the opening and introduction of solid teamwork, an explanation of teamwork, and a presentation on some of the problems that Posyandu cadres often face when providing services to the community, then continued discussions on building and developing service quality based on teamwork aspects. After the community service activities are completed, follow-up interviews are conducted regarding the impact of the community service activities. In accordance with the results of the interviews, it is known that the understanding of Posyandu cadres related to an increase in motivation in communication increased by 80%, and the work and implementation of solid teamwork increased by 90%.

Abstract

Consumer satisfaction is the most dominant factor in meeting one of the needs of consumers and factors that can meet consumer satisfaction include service quality and price. Research conducted at Ayam Geprek Idola Pematang Siantar City, the results of the study with the help of SPSS found that the intrument of research variables had valid and reliable criteria. For the coefficient of determination, strong correlation results from service quality and price to consumer satisfaction and have a positive direction coefficient of service quality and price to consumer satisfaction. The results of the hypothesis found that service quality has a positive and significant effect on customer satisfaction, price also has a positive and significant effect on customer satisfaction. With good service quality and good and affordable prices, it will be able to generate customer satisfaction.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of teacher professionalism variables on teacher performance at Sultan Agung Pematng Siantar Private High School totaling 41 teachers, consisting of Foundation Permanent Teachers and Foundation Non-Permanent Teachers. The results of the questionnaire distribution show that the research instrument for the variables of teacher professionalism and teacher performance has valid and reliable criteria, with the condition that the research variables have a normal distribution due to asymp values. Sig. (2-tailed) of each variable ≥ α 0.05. The results of the coefficient determination showed that the ability of professional variables to teacher performance was 0.54 or 54%, and had a strong correlation. For the regression equation, it shows the value of the equation Y = 18.442 + 1.739, which means that there is an influence of a positive direction coefficient of professionalism on teacher performance variables in Sultan Agung Pematang Siantar Private High School Teachers. The results of the hypothesis show that there is an influence of a positive direction coefficient of professionalism on teacher performance variables in Sultan Agung Pematang Siantar Private High School Teachers.

Abstract

Innovation and creativity in this digital era are needed in developing the business you want to be involved in so that you are not trapped in daily operational activities and pursuing performance targets. The fundamentals of implementing this service with the theme of training interest in entrepreneurship through innovation and creativity for generation Z at Sultan Agung Private High School are to encourage generation Z, especially in the Sultan Agung Private High School environment, to increase knowledge related to entrepreneurship by utilizing innovation abilities and creativity in developing businesses. The method used in implementing this activity is through lectures and FGD (group discussion forum). The stages of implementing this event include opening and introducing entrepreneurial innovation and creativity, explaining the fundamentals of being an entrepreneur, explaining several problems often faced by young entrepreneurs, then continued with discussions related to new business development. After the service activities are completed, follow-up interviews are conducted regarding the impact of implementing the service activities. According to the interview results, it is known that the understanding of generation Z, especially students at Sultan Agung Private High School, regarding increasing understanding of innovation and creativity has increased by 95%.

Abstract

The development of a digital marketing-based business model at the Kurdut Garage Workshop in Pematangsiantar has a very important urgency in facing the ever-growing era of digitalization. The method used in implementing this activity is through lectures and FGD (group discussion forum). The stages of implementing this event include explaining the fundamentals of being an entrepreneur, explaining several problems that entrepreneurs often face, then continuing with discussions related to developing new businesses. After the service activities are completed, follow-up interviews are conducted regarding the impact of implementing the service activities. By the results of the interview, it is known that the understanding of Kurdut Garage Workshop business owners regarding knowledge of the use of digital marketing has increased by 90%. The use of digital media is useful and can increase understanding and skills for partners. Therefore, it is recommended that sustainable methods of mentoring partners can be used as a solution to increase business size and also function as a means of company adaptation to increase business scale.

Abstract

The development of digital technology has made the business world provide more innovative services in reaching a wider range of consumers, one of the systems that is expected to support these efforts is the Cash On Delivery (COD) service with the hope that it can support purchasing decisions. The results of the study found that there is a positive direction coefficient from Cash On Delivery on purchasing decisions, with the ability to explain Cash On delivery to purchasing decisions worth a strong correlation (R). The partial hypothesis test (Test) t shows a positive and significant effect of the Cash On Delivery variable on purchasing decisions. This means that Cash On Delivery is able to support the decision of consumers to make purchases when these consumers do not have a digital payment system, such as mobile banking, shoope pay, funds and so on.
