Abstract

Abstract Hidayatullah Islamic Boarding School has a social institution called Baitul Maal Hidayatullah which focuses on da'wah and education. Apart from that, Baitul Maal Hidayatullah became Mitra Zakat, a part and partner of the National Amil Zakat Institution. Baitul Maal Hidayatullah is at the Surya Melati Hidayatullah Educational Institution Bandung Tulungagung. This research will look at how Baitul Maal Hidayatullah Zakat Partners, Tulungagung Regency collect and distribute zakat, infaq and alms. This research aims to find out how Baitul Maal Hidayatullah Zakat Partners, Tulungagung Regency collect donations, zakat funds and alms and how these funds are distributed. This research adopts a qualitative approach with descriptive methods as its basis. Information was collected through a documentation process and in-depth interviews; Data analysis is carried out through reduction, delivery and conclusions. Research findings show that there are three strategies for raising funds through zakat, infaq and alms: the traditional method involves visiting the prospective muzaki's home, where programs are presented in the form of proposals, and the muzaki can visit the office directly to make donations. Meanwhile, the modern approach utilizes online platforms that provide information related to the programs being implemented, with the use of social media to build sympathy from muzaki. In following the evolution of the times, this approach always adapts to technological advances that make transactions easier for muzaki. Donation funds were given directly to the Surya Melati Hidayatullah Bandung Tulungagung Educational Institution, to be further managed by the financial department in accordance with the zakat, infaq and alms program at Baitul Maal Hidayatullah Zakat Partners, Tulungagung Regency. Abstract

Seen from the high poverty rate in Indonesia in 2022, it was found that provinces in the Eastern Indonesia Region (EIR) dominated the ten provinces with the largest percentages of poor population in Indonesia. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to determine the main aspects that affect the poverty rate in EIR. This research set the panel data regression analysis technique using six provinces in EIR as the unit of analysis or cross section data, as well as time series data from 2001-2022. Based on the research findings, the Minimum Wage had a negative influence and significant impact on the poverty rate; GRDP ADHK had a negative but insignificant effect on the poverty rate; and TPT had a positive and significant effect on the poverty rate; population had a negative and significant impact on the poverty rate, while the literacy rate had a positive but insignificant impact on the poverty rate. The five independent variables had a significant influence on the poverty rate in EIR

Abstract

All countries face human development problems. As indicated by the relatively low level of the HDI. The quality of human life is an important factor in the development process. Of the 38 cities/districts in East Java, 12 districts require attention because they are categorized as moderate HDI levels by 2022. Therefore, it is important to make efforts to improve the quality of human development during the development process. This study aims to examine the independent socio-economic variables of poverty, economic growth, sanitation, and clean water on the dependent variable, namely the human development index in 12 districts of East Java Province in 2015-2022. This research uses panel data with the best model selection, namely the fixed effect model, and the test criteria are set at an error rate of 5%. The analysis results in an Adj R-Square value of 93.79%, which indicates a strong correlation between variables. The remaining 6.21% can be attributed to other factors not included in the analysis. Specifically, the results of this study explain the variables that affect and do not affect the human development index.

Abstract

This research aims to identify effective learning models through the implementation of LSLC activities that influence student activities. The research was carried out in three cycles, each involving two open classes. The research sample consisted of phase D students, especially grade 8 at SMP Negeri 34 Surabaya, in science and technology subjects. The student activity criteria were adapted from Singarimbun, which includes: 1) a score of 1 for very inactive; 2) score 2 for inactive; 3) score 3 for less active; 4) value 4 for active; and 5) score 5 for very active. Data was collected through observations by observers during open classes. Data analysis was carried out descriptively and quantitatively by describing the number and percentage of active students. The results of observations regarding student activities are discussed in reflection sessions and used as a basis for determining the next learning model. This research applies the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model using media such as pictures, colored objects, guided inquiry approaches, practice, role playing, and project-based models. The participation rate of active to very active students reached 95%, which is the highest result in the project-based model. Differences in activity were analyzed using One-Way ANOVA with the help of SPSS v25. The results of the analysis show an R Square value of 0.928, which shows that student activity has increased due to the influence of the learning model by 92.8%. "The ANOVA test shows a significance value (Sig) of 0.000, and the coefficient test also produces a Sig value of 0.000, which shows that the learning model has a significant influence on student activities."   Keywords: student activities, guided inquiry, project based learning, Problem Based Learning (PBL)

Abstract

Artificial Intelligence is a technology that allows machines to learn and adapt quickly from given data without having to be explicitly programmed. AI has found its place in many industries and has great potential to improve the efficiency of human resources within organizations. In this article, we will discuss how the use of artificial intelligence can help improve human resource efficiency. This review is a literature search with an elaborative approach. This approach is a methodological effort by organizing the logic flow of the discussion with various compatible literature sources. Reliable literature sources come from journals, books, articles, and other sources relevant to this discourse. The result of the study is that human resource management needs to adjust to the needs of the organization and adjust the culture or corporate culture to the technological culture. Human interaction with machines is an inevitable necessity. The existence of artificial intelligence is very helpful in human resource management, for example in recruitment systems, training, data analysis, performance analysis, and operational duty efficiency.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of exports, imports, labor, investment, and information and communication technology (ICT) on the growth of Gross Domestic Product (GDP) in Indonesia using the Error Correction Model (ECM) approach. The data used are time series data from 2006 to 2023 obtained from the World Bank and the Central Statistics Agency (BPS). The results of the study indicate that exports and ICT have a positive and significant influence on GDP growth in both the short and long term. Imports show a positive influence in the long term, but a negative influence in the short term. Meanwhile, labor and investment are not significant on GDP growth in both periods. The conclusion of this study emphasizes the importance of export diversification, strategic import management, improving the quality of the workforce, investment effectiveness, and accelerating digital transformation in supporting Indonesia's economic growth. The implications of this study provide insight for policy makers to strengthen the competitiveness of the national economy through optimization of the trade and technology sectors.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the dynamics of labor absorption in Indonesia during the period 1993-2023, focusing on the synergy of the financial sector and the real sector. This study uses a quantitative method with a descriptive and inferential approach. The data used are secondary data obtained from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) and Bank Indonesia (BI). The data analysis techniques used are the Vector Error Correction Model (VECM), stationarity test, optimal lag determination, cointegration test, Granger causality, and VECM estimation. The results of the study indicate that the variables of the financial sector (inflation) and the real sector (number of MSMEs and wages) have a significant effect on labor absorption in Indonesia. Inflation has a negative effect, while the number of MSMEs and wages have a positive effect. The synergy between the financial sector and the real sector, as reflected in the growth of MSMEs and effective inflation control, plays an important role in creating sustainable employment. This study provides theoretical and practical contributions to the development of more effective economic policies in encouraging job creation in Indonesia.
