Abstract

Senior High School (SHS) 1 Batulayar is located at Jl. Otomotif Raya, Senteluk, Batulayar, West Lombok Regency, West Nusa Tenggara 83355, Indonesia, is in the Senggigi tourism buffer area. In the 2023 academic year, SHS 1 Batulayar only received 39 new students who were accommodated in 1 class (study group). Seeing these conditions is a problem faced by SHS 1 Batulayar in getting students. As a teaching team in the Department of Electrical Engineering, we are inspired to educate students and teachers, one of which is providing information on the potential of new renewable energy towards environmentally friendly schools. Educational material in the form of knowledge about the new energy sector in accordance with Law No. 30 of 2007 concerning Energy and PP No. 70 of 2009 concerning energy conservation and Minister of Environment and Forestry Regulation No. P.52/MENLHK/SETJEN/KUM.1/9/2019, movement for environmental care and culture in schools, especially in the field of EBT, energy conservation towards the Adiwiyata (Green School) program. The PkM group consists of lecturers, technicians and students from the Electrical Engineering study program specializing in electrical power systems and telecommunication. PkM participants were 25 classes X and More attention to SHS 1 Batulayar which has less number of students.

Abstract

Rain is a natural phenomenon that occurs in tropical climates during the period it occurs which is a nuisance in wireless communications. The research focus for 5G communications is ongoing to be able to overcome or mitigate rainy conditions. Rain data from satellite images is taken in the form of processed images with different color degradation. The resulting rainfall data is then converted into rain attenuation. This rain attenuation is used to predict noise interference from rain so that it can be overcome in rainy conditions. Statistical data from rain attenuation was modeled and generated numerically using ARMA which was modified to ARIMA so that observations from non-stationary to stationary. The ARIMA model value in this research is ARIMA (6,1,6).

Abstract

Dewasa ini, teknologi komunikasi data makin berkembang. Hal ini juga beriringan dengan jumlah pengguna layanan komunikasi nirkabel yang semakin meningkat. Faktor inilah yang menyebabkan kanal komunikasi nirkabel (LMDS) menjadi terbatas. Adapun faktor lain yang dapat mengganggu keandalan komunikasi LMDS adalah hujan. Tak terkecuali hujan di daerah Mataram Pada penelitian ini, MIMO adalah sistem multi antenna yang digunakan. Sistem MIMO diuji keandalannya dalam mencapai threshold sebesar 10-3 pada kondisi hujan yang diukur dari 3 tempat di Mataram dan diklasifikasikan lagi berdasarkan intensitas hujannya yakni hujan gerimis, sedang, dan deras. Hasil simulasi yang didapat untuk MIMO adalah paling baik pada kondisi hujan gerimis karena threshold sebesar 10-3 tercapai. Pada modulasi adaptif, didapatkan hasil bahwa jenis modulasi BPSK dan QPSK paling cocok diterapkan pada kanal dengan kondisi hujan gerimis. Untuk metode Waterfilling, pengujian dilihat dari nilai probabilitas redaman hujan dalam menghasilkan nilai redaman hujan optimum untuk setiap 1 Km. Didapatkan hasil probabilitas terbaik pada hujan gerimis yakni sebesar 0,7% dan menghasilkan nilai redaman hujan optimumnya dalam 1 Km sebesar 0,595 dB.

Abstract

Penyebaran virus corona atau yang biasa disebut dengan Servere acute Respiratory Coronavorus 2 (SARS-Cov-2) telah mengancam sejumlah negara didunia termasuk Indonesia. Dimana saat penularan virus SARS-Cov-2 makin meluas, masih banyak terlihat masyarakat yang tidak mematuhi protokol kesehatan. pada penelitian ini dirancang sebuah prototipe yang digunakan untuk mengukur suhu badan dan mengidentifikasi penggunaan masker. Prototipe ini menggunakan python pada Raspberry Pi, kamera untuk mengidentifikasi penggunaan masker, thermal camera MLX 90640 serta sejumlah led dan buzzer. Dari hasil percobaan dapat dilihat bahwa alat ini dapat mengenali sejumlah jenis masker dengan baik kecuali kecuali masker bercorak. selain itu, alat ini pula dapat mengenali pengguna masker dengan baik pada jarak 2 meter sedangkan lebih dari 2 meter mengalami kesalahan identifikasi sebanyak 50%. Pada tahap akhir pengujian, prototipe dapat melakukan identifikasi masker dan pengukuran suhu badan secara bersamaan. Dalam skenario terlihat bahwa apabila seseorang tidak memakai masker dan atau suhu diatas 38'C maka buzzer akan berbunyi dan LED merah akan menyala dan jika obyek menggunakan masker dan atau suhu dibawah 38'C maka buzzer tidak akan berbunyi dan LED hijau akan menyala.

Abstract

Testing the signal power level is an important element to determine the classification of the signal power level in the measurement area by taking into account the standard signal reception parameters from the provider used. In this study, the signal power level was measured for indoor and outdoor conditions for Telkomsel and XL providers, as well as a statistical analysis of the results of path loss measurements at a working frequency of 2.1 GHz. This study aims to determine a good location for accessing the internet based on the results of measuring the signal power level value, so that from the signal power level mapping results obtained, the indoor provider XL condition value with the normal location category has an average signal power level of -90 dBm and the XL provider outdoor condition with the good category has an average power level of -80 dBm. In indoor conditions, Telkomsel providers are in the medium category with an average signal power level of -90 dBm, and in outdoor locations, Telkomsel providers are in the good, medium, and bad categories with power level values of -110 to -80.

Abstract

Global warming and the environmental impacts of fossil fuels are very important to understand, especially for the younger generation, including students. Geographically, MTs Negeri 1 Mataram is located in the Mataram city area with a distance of approximately 1 kilometer from the Mataram University campus, which is the place of duty for the team carrying out this service. The method for implementing this service is through socialization and education about the basic concepts of solar power plants, how they work, and their environmental and social benefits through various stages including presentations, discussions, practical demonstrations of PLTS modules, and assessing student understanding through post-tests. and pre-test. Practice demonstration of PLTS modules. Evaluation of the 20 students who took part in this activity showed an increase in their awareness regarding the importance of PLTS in sustainable energy and environmental conservation, because the average post-test and pre-test score was above 83. This is expected to encourage active participation of students in supporting renewable energy in the future

Abstract

The allocation of LPG gas subsidies has increased, putting a burden on state finances, while surplus electricity production is not being utilized optimally. Electrical energy can replace LPG gas by replacing the gas stove with an electric stove. This conversion requires adequate installation to ensure the safe and secure operation of the electric stove. The implementation of the conversion program must be supported by community readiness regarding standard electrical installations for electric stoves in the form of training. Training activities were carried out in Nyurlembang Village, Narmada, West Lombok, as a community service activity. This activity aims to educate and train the public about repairing and redesigning electrical installations for electric stoves. Training methods include lecture, discussion and practice methods. Before and after the activity, participants are given a written test to determine the success of the training activity. The test results show an average score before and after training of 38.33 and 66.00 for the range 0-100. These results show that the training was quite effective with an increase in participants' theoretical and practical knowledge of 27.67.

Abstract

Kuliah Kerja Nyata (KKN) Village Community Service (VCS) University of Mataram (UNRAM) has a main work program is the use of coconut products for the addition of nutrients. KKN VCS activities in Tenige Village, Tanjung District, North Lombok Regency are focused on overcoming stunting. KKN VCS UNRAM has the opportunity to provide innovations in improving agricultural yields such as innovating coconut yields. The target is for innovation in coconuts, as well as socialization of opportunities to make the production of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Tenige Village.  The residents of Tenige Village can be independently moved to continue their business related to this processed product. Increasing the processing of coconut gizzards by processing them by making additional food containing eggs as a protein enhancer. Processed coconut products are made in the form of cakes called cookies of blondo which have a variant of high gisi content. Processing has been practiced and consumed by the people of Tenige Village. To maintain quality and quality, it was socialized with the help of UNRAM and sponsors in the form of speakers and financial assistance. Abstract

Technological advances in the energy sector, especially electricity, are needed to utilize clean and renewable energy sources towards net zero emissions. This condition supports the use of new, renewable energy (EBT) by the government and society. Together with Mitra (head of Sandik village), the Mataram University Lecturer Community Service Program team will carry out community empowerment in the field of EBT by socializing Presidential Decree No. 5 of 2006 concerning KEN and PP no. 112 of 2022 concerning Accelerating the Development of EBT to supply electrical energy providers as well as introducing solar module installations as a source of electrical energy to support the energy diversification program. The methods used are presentation, discussion, pre-test, post-test, practice, use of solar energy measuring instruments and presentation on installing solar modules as an electricity source. The implementation of this PkM activity was assisted by students majoring in electrical engineering, electrical systems and equipment from Sandik Village. There were 21 men and 9 women taking part in the PkM. The results of the achievement evaluation mean pre-test score to post-test score increased from 49.725 to 72.0375, an average increase of 44.87%. The community's interest in using PLTS as a source of electricity shows the enthusiastic participation of the Sandik village community.

Abstract

Masalah utama Desa Tangguh Bencana (Destana)  di Desa Penyanggaya Sirkuit Madalika adalah bahaya tanah longsor akibat kemiringan tanah yang terjal,  masyarakat harus tahu kalau potensi tanah longsor dan menghidari pembuatan pemukiman akibat hujan atau gempa yang membuat retakan tanah. Situasi yang berbahaya tanah longsor dengan perubahan fungsi lahan dari perbukitan menjadi tanah urug. Universitas Mataram memiliki obsevatorium di Rembitan bagian dari Pusat Unggulan Iptek (PUI) Geomagnetik mengukur magnet bumi dengan satuan magnet bumi nTesla (Nano Tesla). Hasil pengukuran terjadi anomali (penurunan nilai magnet bumi. Ini merupakan precursor akan terjadinya gempa. Desa Sade dan Rembitan merupakan satu kawasan yang menjadi satu kesatuan yang harus dijaga dan memberikan pengetahuan akan bahaya banjir dan tanah longsor akibat cuaca ekstrim. Proses menggunaka remote sensing dengan foto udara. Hal hasil telah didapatkan bebarapa titik rawan bencana.
