ABSTRACTAs an attempt to support the performance and improvement of the image of the House of Representatives in carrying out their duties, it is important to establish performance standards for each member of Parliament as dominant individual running their functions. Designing performance standards for members of Parliament is a process undertaken to draw up a performance standard for the House of Representatives members. Such a process begins with job analysis of Parliament members. The results of this analysis are then used to draw up a job description and work dimensions of Parliament members, to formulate performance standards for the House of Representatives members. Application of performance standards based on these results, if applied uniformly to all members of the House of Representatives, can be used as benchmarks in assessing the performance of these Parliament members, so that it can be used as a guide in evaluating their performance according to “The Regulations of House of Represantative of Indonesian Republic No.1 Year 2014 on Codes of Conduct”.Keyword:job analysis, members of the House of Representatives, performance evaluation, performance, performance standards

Abstract

One of the mine expansions that is expected to accelerate the production rate of PT Freeport Indonesia is the Deep Mill Level Zone (DMLZ) mine. The block caving mining method used at the DMLZ mine results in higher productivity levels at lower operating costs but requires ongoing equipment maintenance. This research aims to describe the factors and criteria that determine the production process, find a performance management model, and find the right strategic priorities to increase productivity at DMLZ mine. We analysed the condition of the maintenance management system at the DMLZ mine to find solutions and strategies so that equipment maintenance could be managed effectively. Sustainable Safe Production performance management is developed based on the Balanced Scorecard (BSC) approach combined with the Analytical Network Process (ANP), which is expected to determine the priority of solutions and strategies based on predetermined criteria and indicators. This performance management model considers six perspectives: finance, customers, production, safety, internal business processes, and learning and growth processes as benchmarks in measuring performance. We explained the determination of priority strategies that can be done to achieve three goals in sustainable safe production management: achieving production targets, safe and healthy mining processes, and achieving operational cost-effectiveness. Keywords: analytical network process (ANP), balanced scorecard (BSC), performance management, safe production, sustainable production

Abstract

PT Freeport Indonesia (PTFI) plans to build a new power generation facility in the face of production expansion, especially underground mine and mill optimization, which has an impact on increasing the demand for electricity up to 374.8 MW. The selection of the right type of power plant, will greatly determine the continuity of the electricity supply operation. There are many things to consider, making it difficult for companies to determine the type of new power plant. Therefore, this study aims to (1) determine the most important factors to consider in the construction of PTFI's new power plant; (2) provide recommendations for the choice of the best type of new power plant for PTFI. This study uses the method of literature review, expert interviews and questionnaires, which are processed using the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method. The results of the study indicate that conformity with the existing power generation facilities and support from government policies are the most important factors and sub-factors that must be considered by PTFI in the construction of new power plants in the Special Mining Business License (IUPK) area. The recommended type of new power plant is the Dual Fuel Power Plant (DFPP). Abstract

Energy consumption such as oil and gas which still tends to be high makes business opportunities in the energy sector considered to have promising prospects. One of the energy products that are needed by the people of Indonesia is LPG (Liquefied Petroleum Gas). PT XYZ is a 3 kg subsidized LPG agent company that is classified as a highly regulated industry business, namely all of its business activities are supervised and regulated by the government and related agencies in this case through Pertamina. A tool for the three-stage analysis of strategy formulation using an internal factor matrix (IFE), external factor matrix (EFE), IE matrix, SWOT matrix and QSPM. Based on the IE matrix score, the position of cooperative is in first quadrant which means growing and building. The formulation of alternative strategies was based on IE matrix analysis and SWOT analysis to produce alternative development strategies. The strategy with the highest priority is based on the results of the Quantitative Strategic Planning Matrix, namely market penetration with a Sum Total Attractiveness (STAS) value of 6.084. Abstract

Based on the results of situational analysis, problematic situations, strategies, and the proposed model as explained above, several conclusions can be drawn. The high number of Muslim people in Indonesia encourages companies to innovate in creating new products that are easier for the public to understand, especially related to Sharia insurance. The existing condition of the insurance industry is driven by the real growth trend of Sharia insurance customers, which can be used as a measure of industry growth. When compared with other countries, there are similarities and differences between Sharia and conventional insurance governance. This can be used as a comparative reference to optimize the management of the Sharia insurance industry. Based on the results of the situation analysis, it is known that the current condition of the Sharia insurance industry is not optimal because there has been no serious effort from the regulator to integrate all potential from upstream to downstream in all elements of the Sharia insurance industry. From the results of the interview analysis, it was revealed that the strategy considered to be the most effective and the main priority in developing the Sharia insurance industry is increasing human resource competency through intensive and continuous training. This aims to overcome the shortage of professional human resources in the fields of insurance and sharia economics while ensuring quality improvement.
