Abstract

 Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana pengaruh penerapan model pembelajaran Learning Cycle 5E terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik pada materi usaha dan energi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah eksperimen semu dengan rancangan penelitian Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Sampel penelitian dipilih berdasarkan teknik simple random sampling secara intact group. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa tes uraian berjumlah 5 soal. Data dianalisis menggunakan uji U-Man Whitney dengan α 5% diperoleh  <  (-2,702 < -1,96) yang artinya H0 ditolak dan Ha diterima. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar peserta didik yang menggunakan model pembelajaran Learning Cycle 5E dan pembelajaran konvensional. Efektivitas pembelajaran menggunakan model pembelajaran Learning Cycle 5E  termasuk dalam kategori sedang dengan nilai effect size 0,6 dan memberikan kontribusi sebesar 22,57% terhadap peningkatan hasil belajar peserta didik. Kata kunci: LC 5E, Hasil Belajar, Usaha dan Energi Abstract: The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of the application of Learning Cycle 5E model on student’s learning outcomes in study material of work and energy. This was a quasi experiment with Nonequivalent Control Group Deisgn. The sample was chosen with simple random sampling technique on intact group. The instrument use is essay test of 5 questions. Data were analyzed using U-Mann whitney test with α 5% obtained -Zcount < -Ztable (-2,702 < -1,96) which means H0 is rejected and Ha is a accepted. It showed that there were differences in learning outcomes between student using Learning Cycle 5E model and conventional learning. The effectiveness of Learning Cycle 5E model included in medium category with effect size value 0,6 and contributed 22,57% to increase student’s learning outcomes.Keywords: LC 5E, Learning Outcomes, Work and Energy

Abstract

AbstractThis research aims to know the influence of the application of the POE (predict, observe, explain) learning model to remediate misconception of students on the material light reflection in junior high 23 State of Pontianak. The form of this research is pre-experimental design with one- group pre test post- test design. This research involves 28 students IX as sample that selected by intact group.The tool collecting data in the form of diagnostic tests in the form of multiple choice accompanied by a reason. Average change of misconception for all Mc Nemar test based on the question of the obtained results of χ2hitung > χ2tabel (3.84), then a change occurred after significant student misconceptions implemented remediation. In addition, the effectiveness of remediation using a model learning POE using the formula obtained price proportion to decrease the amount of misconception (0.59). So conclusion remediation using a model learning POE influential in reducing the misconception of students on the material reflection of light. Abstract

AbstractThis research aimed to find out the correlation between mathematical communication ability and the students ability to solve linear motion problem. The instrument  was an essay test which consists of 10 items. To measure mathematical communication ability amount to 5 items and to measure students’ ability to solve linear motion problem amount to 5 items. Intact group selected 32 students of SMP Negeri 1 Pontianak as research samples. Correlative analysis product moment and  significant coefficient correlation used  as data analysis techniques. The results of the analysis showed that  correlation score is 0,4917 and t hitung>ttabel= 3,0931>2,069. Based on the results of the analysis that there is a significant correlation between ability to mathematical communication and the ability to solve linear motion problem. Hoped that this research will be used as a benchmark by science teachers, to further improve students' mathematical communication ability in accordance with the purpose curriculum 2013. Keywords: Linear Motion, Mathematical Communication, Significance Test

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penurunan jumlah siswa yang mengalami miskonsepsi dalam membaca grafik pada materi gerak lurus setelah diremediasi dengan Physics Education Technology (PhET). Bentuk penelitian berupa pre-experimental design dengan rancangan One Group Pretest-Postest. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari 30 siswa kelas X yang dipilih dengan cara Sampling Purposive. Alat Pengumpul data berupa tes diagnostik berjumlah 9 soal dengan 3 alternatif pilihan ganda disertai alasan terbuka. Skor validitas dan reliabilitas yaitu 4 (= tinggi) dan 0,52 (= sedang). Berdasarkan hasil analisis data untuk seluruh konsep terjadi penurunan jumlah siswa yang mengalami miskonsepsi sebesar 52,22% dengan signifikansi penurunan berdasarkan uji McNemar yaitu (10,675) > (3,84) sehingga dapat dikatakan terjadi penurunan yang signifikan antara jumlah siswa yang miskonsepsi sebelum dan sesudah diremediasi. PhET efektif dalam meremediasi dengan nilai sebesar 0,673 (= sedang). Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat dijadikan alternatif oleh guru untuk meremediasi miskonsepsi yang dialami siswa. Kata Kunci: Remediasi, PhET, Grafik, Gerak Lurus Abstract: The aim of this research is to acquire the number of student’s misconception about reading graph on straight motion after remediation with Physics Education Technology (PhET). The design of research is pre-experimental with one group pretest-postest. The subject consists of 30 students at X grade that chosen by the sampling purposive method. The Instrument consists 9 of diagnostic test with 3 multiple choice and open reasoning. The scores of validity and reliability of the test is 4 (high) and 0.52 (medium). The result shows the number of student’s misconception is 52.22% with significance of decrease by McNemar test is (10,675) > (3,84) so that it can be conclude the decrease the number of student’s misconception before and after remediation is significant. The effectiveness of remediation using PhET is 0.673 (medium). This research is expected to be an alternative for teachers to remediate about students misconception. Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar dan hasil belajar siswa kelas VII G SMP Negeri 9 Pontianak pada materi kalor dengan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Team Assisted Individualization (TAI). Siswa kelas VII G SMP Negeri 9 Pontianak yang terdiri dari 22 siswa perempuan dan 16 siswa laki-laki berpartisipasi dalam penelitian ini. Penelitian ini terdiri dari 2 siklus dengan indicator keberhasilan 65 % siswa memperoleh nilai  75 pada tes hasil belajar dan pada motivasi belajar siswa dengan indicator keberhasilan 65 %. Peningkatan persentase ketuntasan hasil belajar peserta didik pada siklus I sebesar 68,42 % dengan nilai rata-rata 72,2 dan pada siklus II sebesar 84,21 % dengan nilai rata-rata 78,3. Rata-rata motivasi belajar siswa sebesar 84,64 %. Model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Team Assisted Individualization (TAI) diharapkan dapat digunakan sebagai alternatif untuk meningkatkan motivasi dan hasil belajar siswa. Kata Kunci: Motivasi, HasilBelajar, TAI Abstract: TheAims of this research is to improve the motivation and study outcomes of VII G students of Junior High School 9 Pontianak on  kalor topic with cooperative learning model Team Asissted Individualization (TAI) type. Student of class VII G Junior High School9 Pontianak as participants in this study consisted of 22 girls and 16 boys. This study consisted of 2 cycles with an indicator of success was 65% student got a score of  75 in the study outcomes test and for students study motivation the indicator was 65%. The increase of the cycle I was 68,42% with an average value of 72,2 while the percentage of cycle II was 84,21% with an average value of 78,3. The average of students study motivation was 84,64%. Cooperative learnig model Team Assisted Individualization (TAI) type was expected to be used as an alternative to improve students motivation and study outcomes. Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerapan metode demonstrasi dalam meremediasi miskonsepsi siswa pada materi cermin di SMP Negeri 7 Sungai Raya. Metode penelitian menggunakan pre-experimental design dengan bentuk one group pretest-posttest design. Sampel penelitian dipilih menggunakan teknik intact grup dengan melibatkan 22 siswa. Alat pengumpul data yang digunakan berupa 10 soal pilihan ganda dengan tiga alternatif jawaban disertai alasan terbuka. Diperoleh persentase rata-rata penurunan miskonsepsi sebesar 39,54% pada tiap siswa dan 46,59% pada tiap indikator. Hasil perhitungan harga proporsi diperoleh  = 0,48 dengan tingkat efektivitas sedang. Berdasarkan uji statistik McNemar dan uji binomial, secara keseluruhan pada setiap soal terjadi perubahan konseptual siswa yang signifikan antara sebelum dan sesudah remediasi menggunakan metode demonstrasi. Dengan demikian, penerapan metode demonstrasi berpengaruh dalam meremediasi miskonsepsi siswa pada materi cermin di SMP Negeri 7 Sungai Raya. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat dijadikan alternatif guru dalam melaksanakan remediasi miskonsepsi siswa pada materi cermin.   Kata Kunci : Remediasi, miskonsepsi, metode demonstrasi, efektivitas, cermin Abstract: This study aims to know the influence of implementation of demonstration as learning method to remediate student’s misconceptions about mirror in Junior High School. The research method used pre-experimental design with one group pretest-posttest design. The sample were chosen by intact group method, involving 22 students. The tool for collecting data is 10 multiple choice questions with three alternative answers and the opened reasons. It was found that the average percentage of misconceptions reduction was 39.54% on each student and 46,59% on each indicator. The results of the calculation of the proportion obtained ΔS = 0.48 with medium effectiveness category. Based on the statistical test of McNemar and binomial test, overall there is a conceptual change significantly on each question between before and after implementation of demonstration as learning method. The implementation of demonstration as learning method was influenced to remediate student’s misconceptions about mirror in Junior High School. Abstract

AbstractThis study was conducted to determine the effectiveness of Children Learning In Science (CLIS) model using PhET simulation to reduce students misconception on hydrostatic pressure in SMPN 7 Pontianak.  This study was quasi  pre-experimental design with one group pre-test post-test design. The population of this study was ninth grade  students in SMPN 7 Pontianak. Intact group random sampling was used that involving IX F. the average decrease of student misconceptions were 38,03% with significant conceptual change by Mc Nemar test ( ). There was significant conceptual change after remediation by apply CLIS model using PhET simulation to reduce students misconception on hydrostatic pressure. Result reveal that the effectiveness level was 0,67 (medium). This research is expected to be used as an alternative remediation activities to reduce misconception in learning process and improve student’s learning outcomes.   Keywords: Misconception, CLIS, PhET, Hydrostatic Pressure

Abstract

Absrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan  motivasi dan hasil belajar siswa, melalui model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Team Assisted Individualization (TAI) pada materi wujud zat. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) yang dilakukan dalam dua siklus. sebanyak 35 siswa kelas VII D SMP Negeri 1 Sungai Kakap menjadi partisipan dalam penelitian ini. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini meliputi lembar  angket motivasi , dan  lembar  tes hasil belajar. Data yang diperoleh menunjukan adanya peningkatan persentase hasil belajar siswa pada siklus I ke siklus II sebesar 71,43% menjadi 80,00%. Hasil motivasi belajar siswa menunjukan peningkatan, yaitu pada siklus I ke siklus II kategori kuat 75,80% menjadi 81,14% kategori sangat kuat. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan model pembelajaran kooperatf tipe Team Assisted Individualization dapat meningkatkan motivasi dan hasil belajar siswa pada materi wujud zatKata kunci : Motivasi, Hasil Belajar, Kooperatif tipe TAI Abstract: The aims of this study is to increase motivation and learning outcomes, through the cooperative learning modelwith Team Assisted Individualization (TAI) type at the material states of matter. Classroom Action Research (CAR) conducted in two cycles. The participants of this research were 35 students in VII D class on SMP Negeri 1 Sungai Kakap. The instruments are consist of quesionnaire sheets motivation and achievement test. It showed that the inerease of student learning outcomes percentage on first cycle and second cycle is 71,43% to 80,00%. The results of student motivation showing improvement, namely in the first cycle and second cycle of strong category 75,80% to 81,14% strongest category. These results indicate the type Team Assisted Individualization (TAI) can improve motivation and learning outcomes of students in the material form of substance. Key Word : Motivation , Learning Outcomes , Cooperative Type TAI.

Abstract

AbstractThis research aimed to determine the application of the Guided Discovery Learning (GDL) model in improve students critical thinking skills about substance pressure in SMP Negeri 3 Ketapang. The research method used was an experimental research in the form of a pre-experimental design with a pretest-posttest design model. The data collection technique used was a whole group technique and obtained VIII A class with a total of 34 students. The instrument of this study has 5 description tests. Based on the results of the Wilcoxon statistical test obtained a significant increase with asymp.sig (2-tailed) below 0.05 (0,000 <0.05). The increase in critical thinking skills in each indicator, namely the Indicator states that the results have increased by 9.44. The indicator describes the procedure at 10,80 and the indicator presents an argument of 9,32. The effectiveness of using the Guided Discovery Learning model is 3.92 with a high category according to Cohen's effect size. Keywords: Critical Thinking Skill, Explanation Aspect, Guided Discovery Learning,

Abstract

Abstrak : Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkap ?Apakah pemahaman matematis dan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa yang diberi pembelajaran berbasis masalah lebih baik dari pembelajaran biasa di SMP Negeri 3 Samalantan? Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Quasi Experiment (Eksperimen Semu) dengan rancangan eksperimen dengan kelompok kontrol pretest postes desain, Penelitian dilaksanakan pada siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 3 Samalantan dengan masing-masing subyek penlitian 40 siswa baik kelas control maupun kelas eksperimen. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan secara umum siswa yang memperoleh model pembelajaran berbasis masalah mencapai kualitas kemampuan pemahaman yang lebih baik daripada siswa yang memperoleh pembelajaran biasa. Sedangkan siswa yang memperoleh model pembelajaran berbasis masalah mencapai kualitas kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematik yang lebih baik daripada  siswa yang memperoleh pembelajaran biasa. Kata Kunci : Pemahaman Matematis, Pemecahan Masalah Matematis, dan Model Pembelajaran Berbasis Masalah Abstract : This study aims to reveal "What mathematical understanding and problem solving mathematical students who were given a problem-based learning is better than learning at SMP Negeri 3 Samalantan" The method used is Quasi Experiment (Experiment ev) with experimental design with a control group pretest posttest design , research was conducted in class II SLTP 3 Samalantan with each subject study grade 40 students both control and experimental group. Data analysis results show generally students who received problem-based learning models achieve quality capabilities better understanding than students who received regular learning.
