Abstract

Abstrak Sungai Serayu melintasi beberapa Kabupaten yaitu Wonosobo, Banjarnegara, Purbalingga, Banyumas, hingga bermuara di Cilacap. Penelitian ini dilakukan di lokasi Kabupaten Banyumas dan Cilacap. Kabupaten Banyumas, Kebasen terdiri dari tiga stasiun di daerah penambangan pasir yaitu sebelum penambangan pasir, lokasi penambangan pasir, setelah penambangan pasir. Kabupaten Cilacap terdiri dari tiga stasiun yaitu Kecamatan Sampang, Maos dan Slarang. Metode yang digunakan ada dua yaitu metode purposif sampling untuk pengambilan lokasi sampling dan metode Indeks Pencemaran (IP) untuk menentukan kualitas air Sungai Serayu. Dari hasil perhitungan metoda IP, kualitas air Sungai Serayu yang berada di Kabupaten Banyumas, diperoleh pada stasiun 1, 2 dan 3 sebesar (0,922), (0,921) dan (0,934). Sedangkan, yang berada di Kabupaten Cilacap, diperoleh pada stasiun 1, 2 dan 3 sebesar (0,897), (0,921) dan (0,891). Berdasarkan KEPMENLH No.115 Tahun 2003 hubungan nilai IP dengan status mutu air masih termasuk dalam nilai IP sebesar 0 – 1,0 yaitu dengan status mutu kondisi baik.

Abstract

The discharge of organic dyes into water systems poses severe risks to human health and aquatic ecosystems. A remarkable technique that is increasingly recognized for dyes degradation is photocatalysis. This work aims to investigate the role of zinc oxide/nickel oxide (ZnO/NiO) nanocomposites in enhancing photocatalytic degradation efficiency of dyes molecules. The nanocomposites were prepared using a simple ultrasonication technique and analyzed through X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS). The XRD pattern of the ZnO/NiO nanocomposites exhibited characteristic peaks aligned with the ZnO and NiO phases, referring to JCPDS standards. The SEM images of nanocomposites featured the rod and irregular flake-like structures with the average size of 80 nm. The nanocomposites showed the highest dye photodegradation efficiency (RB 93.65% and MO 94.82%) in view of a larger semicircular diameter and lowest band gap energy as verified by Nyquist plot and DFT calculation. These results emphasized the synergistic effect of ZnO/NiO nanocomposites in promoting dye photocatalytic degradation.

Abstract

The speeches of the President of Indonesia play an important role as a means of political communication, policy delivery, and leadership image building in front of the public. However, the increasing volume of speeches presents new challenges in the manual analysis process, as it is time-consuming and prone to researcher subjectivity. This study offers a solution by using BERTopic, a transformer-based topic modelling method that utilises semantic representations from modern embedding models. The research data consists of transcripts of President Joko Widodo's official speeches obtained from the Cabinet Secretariat portal. To improve the quality of semantic representations, this study compares several Indonesian language embedding models, namely DistilBERT, NusaBERT, IndoE5, and SBERT. The analysis process was carried out through the stages of data preprocessing, embedding formation, dimension reduction, clustering, and model evaluation using topic coherence metrics. The objectives of this study were to reveal the themes contained in the President's speeches and to evaluate the effectiveness of embedding models in producing more coherent topics. The results show twenty main themes that consistently appear, including infrastructure development, economic policy, health and the pandemic, digital transformation, international diplomacy, sports, nationalism issues, and regional development. In terms of performance, SBERT provides the best results with a coherence value of UMass = -2.036 and NPMI = 0.082, indicating a positive semantic relationship. A UMass value close to zero indicates greater coherence of words within a topic, while an NPMI value above zero indicates that the connections between words are more easily understood by humans. This research contributes to the development of NLP-based political discourse studies in Indonesia, providing an empirical overview of the selection of appropriate embedding models in topic modelling and opening up opportunities for the integration of similar methods in public policy analysis.

Abstract

Implementation of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) is an important factor in ensuring the quality of food processing products. This research was conducted to analyze how Good Manufacturing Practice is implemented in home industrial food processing. The research used observation or observation methods with direct surveys to MSMEs D'Nurin Eti Eggroll Cilacap. Data analysis activities implementing Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) according to Good Panga Production Methods for Home Industries (CPPB-IRT). There are 4 aspects that are considered not in accordance with the GMP assessment instrument and 10 aspects that are considered to be in accordance with the GMP assessment instrument. To support the implementation of GMP, it is necessary to implement SSOP. From UMKM D'NURIN ETIEGGROLL there are several aspects that have not been met so that monitoring and evaluation is needed to ensure the quality of the products produced.

Abstract

Amodiaquine (AQ) is an essential medicine in treating malaria. Yet, the threat of drug resistance and toxicity necessitates accurate measurement of AQ in the human body. This research determines the amodiaquine (AQ) detection performance of boron-doped diamond (BDD) working electrodes. The study utilizes different pulse velocity (DPV) methods to analyze the AQ reaction behavior of BDD. The research demonstrates the reaction mechanism: Two electrons are transferred, and irreversible oxidation reactions occur. The sensor limit of detection (LOD) is measured to determine the performance of working electrodes for AQ detection. The LOD is calculated between 0.0645 µM and 0.3 µM, and changes in analytical concentrations relative to maximum current are calculated. The LOD of the BDD electrode is 1.5×10–8 M, lower than previous research on AQ sensors, showing the effectivity of the BDD electrode as an AQ sensor.

Abstract

Rice husk is an organic material that has a high lignocellulosic content so it has the potential to be turned into activated carbon. One method of making activated carbon is activation with a phosphoric acid activator (H3PO4). The purpose of this research was to study the effect of varying concentrations of H3PO4 as an activator on the characteristics of rice husk-activated carbon. The characterization refers to SNI 06-3730-1995 regarding the technical quality requirements of activated charcoal. Activation of rice husk carbon was carried out by contacting the carbon with H3PO4 for 24 hours and shaking it. The H3PO4 consisted of 3 concentration variations, namely 4M, 6M, and 8M. From the research results, the water content was 3.936%; 4.037%; 4.070%, the absorption of iodine has met the character of activated charcoal according to SNI, namely 1217.204 mg/g; 1204.255 mg/g; 1184.832 mg/g while the ash content value does not meet the SNI standard, which is still above 10%. The highest adsorption capacity and adsorption efficiency could be activated with 8M H3PO4, namely 22.42 mg/g and 89.68%. IR spectra on activated carbon with three variations of H3PO4 concentration showed the presence of aromatic C-H, C=C, and C-O anhydride functional groups.

Abstract

Aquaponics is an application of a sustainable agricultural system by integrating the cultivation of plants and fish at one time. Water availability in plant commodities and water is optimized in aquaponic cultivation systems. Several parameters that can determine the level of success of cultivating an aquaponic system include water pH, water temperature, TDS, and water level. The process of monitoring and controlling several important parameters in cultivation can be done conventionally, but it is less effective and efficient because the cultivator has to check and measure the parameters every time. Therefore, as time goes by, and technology becomes more sophisticated, a control and monitoring system is designed. several parameters such as water pH, water temperature, TDS, and water level based on the Internet of Things (IoT) to support the success of the aquaponics system by monitoring environmental conditions using a laptop/smartphone at that time. Based on the test results, it was found that aquaponics in an indoor environment is successful - the air conditioner has a water temperature below 250C, the water pH shows 7pH and the average nutrient in the water shows 214.5 ppm. Based on this, kale plants in the stem grow quickly while leaf growth is very stunted. At temperatures smaller than 25 0C pomfret fish only survive for 2 weeks but tilapia fish can survive and not die in these environmental conditions. The length of the tilapia fish for 6 weeks has increased by 5 cm from its original length

Abstract

UMKM memiliki peranan terhadap ekonomi pangan di Indonesia. GMP berperan penting dalam keamanan dan kualitas produk pangan, oleh karena itu artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui sejauh mana penerapan GMP telah dilakukan oleh UMKM Asah Asih terhadap produk sambal ikan tuna untuk memastikan produk tetap dalam keadaan aman dan berkualitas hingga tangan konsumen. Penelitian ini menggunakan 2 teknik pengumpulan data yaitu data primer dan sekunder. Hasil dari penelitian ini berupa dokumen audit GMP dan penerapannya terhadap keamanan dan kualitas produk sambal ikan tuna yang mengacu pada peraturan BPOM No HK.03.1.23.04.12.2206 tahun 2012 tentang CPPOB dan menunjukkan bahwa terdapat beberapa aspek yang belum memenuhi sehingga perlu dilakukan evaluasi dan perbaikan untuk meningkatkan keamanan dan kualitas produk.

Abstract

Mayonnaise is a mixture of oil in water with egg yolk as a binding agent. However, egg yolk and palm oil have a content that is not good for health, so other alternative ingredients are needed to make it healthier. Soybean extract and oil can replace egg yolk and palm oil as the main ingredients. Soybean extract has a "langu" aroma that not everyone likes so roasted sesame is added to reduce the aroma. This study aims to obtain the best formulation and determine the physicochemical characteristics and the level of panelists' preference for vegetarian mayonnaise. This study used a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with roasted sesame addition factors of 0%, 10%, 20%, and 30% with three replications each. The physicochemical analysis used to determine the physicochemical content used the thermogravimetric, Soxhlet, and Kjeldahl methods, and used a viscometer and hedonic analysis to deteassess level of panelists' preference for vegetarian mayonnaise samples. The results showed that the addition of various concentrations of roasted sesame had a significant effect on the physicochemical characteristics of vegetarian mayonnaise. The water content ranges from 29.68% - 35.64%, the fat content ranges from 41.73% - 51.74%, the protein content ranges from 2.07% - 5.73%, and the viscosity level ranges from 1,684.37 MPaS - 2,045.50 MPaS. From this study, the results showed that the best formulation and the most preferred ratio of roasted sesame were at the 20% treatment level. Abstract

The teacher is the key to the success of the quality of education in this country with the main task of educating, teaching, guiding, directing, training, assessing, and evaluating students in early childhood education through formal education, basic education and secondary education. Teachers with honorary teacher status are the beginning of a career path for a teacher. assessment of teacher performance as an illustration of the results of the performance and teaching ability of a teacher. In addition to encouraging motivation, dedication, loyalty, professionalism, and improving the quality of education, teacher performance assessments are also used as a reference, and recommendation for raising the teacher's career path. The methods used in teacher performance assessment research or with similar objects are the SAW method, WP method, Fuzzy Logic, Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method, Decision Tree method, Composite Performance Index (CPI) method and TOPSIS method. However, there has been no research comparing the SAW method with the WP method in terms of the efficiency of the calculation process time, so it is not yet known which method is more efficient in terms of calculation process time in the teacher performance appraisal system, so in this research, we will compare the SAW method with the WP method in honorary teacher performance assessment system, so that it can be seen which method is more efficient in terms of the calculation process for honorary teacher performance assessment.
