Abstract

This study investigates the effectiveness of Augmented Reality (AR) based activities in supporting vocabulary retention, motivation, and engagement in foreign language learning. A quasi-experimental design with a pre-test–post-test control group was employed, involving university students enrolled in English as a Foreign Language (EFL) courses. The experimental group engaged in AR-supported vocabulary learning, while the control group used conventional methods such as flashcards and text-based materials. Data were collected through vocabulary tests, motivation and engagement questionnaires, and classroom observations. The findings indicate that AR significantly enhanced vocabulary retention, with students in the experimental group outperforming those in the control group. AR also increased learners’ motivation by providing immersive and enjoyable learning experiences, and it fostered greater engagement as students actively interacted with digital media. These results support the integration of AR into language learning as an effective instructional approach that combines contextualization, interactivity, and gamification. The study contributes to the growing body of research on technology-enhanced learning and highlights the pedagogical potential of AR in modern language education.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan produk ajar berupa modul penulisan pentigraf berbasis kuliner lokal untuk melestarikan warisan budaya tak benda. Pentigraf, sebagai genre sastra kontemporer yang ringkas namun padat makna, memiliki potensi besar untuk mendokumentasikan pengetahuan, memori, dan nilai-nilai kultural yang terkandung dalam kuliner tradisional. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode pengembangan pendidikan model Borg dan Gall, yang disesuaikan menjadi empat tahapan: penelitian awal dan pengumpulan informasi, pengembangan produk, uji coba produk, dan revisi produk. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMAN 1 Malang pada Semester Ganjil 2025, dengan melibatkan siswa kelas XI.1 sebagai subjek uji coba. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan analisis produk berupa modul dan karya-karya pentigraf yang dihasilkan siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa modul penulisan pentigraf yang dikembangkan efektif meningkatkan kemampuan menulis pentigraf dan meningkatkan kesadaran siswa terhadap warisan budaya tak benda. Melalui proses ini, siswa tidak hanya belajar menulis, tetapi juga menggali cerita, sejarah, dan filosofi di balik makanan tradisional. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa produk modul penulisan pentigraf ini efektif untuk mengajarkan literasi sekaligus mempromosikan pelestarian budaya di lingkungan sekolah. Modul ini berfungsi sebagai jembatan antara tradisi lisan dan ekspresi tertulis, bahwa kekayaan kuliner tidak hanya dinikmati sebagai hidangan, tetapi juga sebagai narasi yang terus hidup.

Abstract

This study aims to determine: (1) what values are internalized through habituation at SDIT Insan Permata Kota Malang. (2) the process of internalizing religious values through habituation at SDIT Insan Permata Kota Malang, (3) the impact of internalizing religious values through habituation at SDIT Insan Permata Kota Malang. This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive research type. This study shows that the religious values instilled in students include values derived from divine values, namely faith and piety, and values derived from human values, including brotherhood, compassion, trustworthiness, and generosity. The internalization process is divided into three stages, namely the value transformation stage, the value transaction stage, and the value transinternalization stage. The impact of the internalization of religious values through habit formation is that students have good religious values, as seen in their more orderly and proper worship, greater responsibility for their duties and obligations, and a growing habit of giving alms.

Abstract

Metode pembelajaran konvensional yang cenderung tidak bervariasi dan kurang interaktif sering kali memperkuat pandangan bahwa pelajaran matematika merupakan pelajaran yang sulit dan kurang menarik. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengenalkan joyfull learning dan pengintegrasian teknologi dalam pembelajaran matematika pada guru-guru SMA/SMK/MA Muhammadiyah di Kabupaten Sragen. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian ini dilaksanakan dalam 3 tahap yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi. Kegiatan pengabdian dilaksanakan dalam dua sesi, yaitu sesi pertama penyampaian materi dan pendampingan penyusunan pembejaran dengan pendekatan joyfull learning dan dilanjutkan pada sesi kedua yaitu penyampaian materi tentang pemanfaatan dan pengintegrasian teknologi dalam pembelajaran, khususnya pada pembelajaran matematika. Pendampingan dan pelatihan penyusunan pembelajaran dengan pendekatan joyfull learning dan pemanfaatan teknologi dalam pembelajaran dengan menggunakan media Nearpod dan CapCut memberikan dampak positif kepada guru dengan persentase 92%.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis implementasi model collaborative learning dan implikasinya terhadap mata pelajaran fiqih di Ma’had Tahfidzul Qur’an Annisa Malang. Penelitian dilakukan di Ma’had Tahfidzul Qur’an Annisa Malang pada santriwati KMA al-wustha II setara kelas VIII SMP sebanyak 22 orang, menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian studi kasus. Model collaborative learning diterapkan agar pembelajaran tidak terasa monoton dan para santriwati menjadi aktif dengan saling berdiskusi untuk mencapai pemahaman yang mendalam. Data terkumpul melalui teknik wawancara, observasi, dan studi dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi model collaborative learning melalui tiga tahapan: 1. Perencanaan; 2. Pelaksanaan, melalui 5 tahapan (Orientasi siswa, pembentukan kelompok, pengaturan tugas belajar, memfasilitasi kolaborasi siswa, memberikan nilai dan mengevaluasi); 3. Evaluasi. Implikasi dari implementasi model ini adalah peningkatan hasil belajar yang ditinjau dari 3 aspek yaitu aspek kognitif, afektif dan psikomotorik.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the need to improve the argumentative writing skills of students at SMK Multimedia Tumpang. Writing is an activity that requires active and creative thinking. A model that can foster this activity and creativity is the jigsaw cooperative learning method. The jigsaw technique emphasizes collaboration, focusing on learning in small groups of four to six students, whose members are selected heterogeneously. Students work together in a positive, interdependent manner and assume independent responsibility. The method used in this research was a quasi-experimental method, with a trial of the jigsaw cooperative learning method in teaching paragraph writing for argumentative essays. The results of the study demonstrate that the jigsaw learning model is effective in teaching argumentative essay writing. This model can also improve the argumentative writing skills of SMK Multimedia Tumpang students.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the relevance of the deep learning approach to the spirit of the Merdeka Curriculum in Fiqh learning for eighth-grade students at MTs Al Mubarok Uman Agung, Central Lampung. In this study, the deep learning approach is grounded in three main elements: meaningful learning, mindful learning, and joyful learning. This research employed a qualitative approach with a descriptive design. The research subjects consisted of a Fiqh teacher and eighth-grade students. Data were collected through classroom observations, in-depth interviews, and documentation, while data analysis was conducted using an interactive model involving data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings indicate that meaningful learning was implemented by connecting Fiqh materials with students’ real-life experiences, making learning more contextual and meaningful. Mindful learning was reflected in students’ reflective thinking, learning awareness, and deep understanding of the values and purposes of Islamic law. Meanwhile, joyful learning was evident in a supportive and enjoyable learning atmosphere that fostered positive emotional engagement. These three elements demonstrate strong alignment with the principles of the Merdeka Curriculum, which emphasizes student-centered learning and character development. The study concludes that the deep learning approach is relevant and effective in supporting the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum in Fiqh learning within a pesantren-based madrasah context.

Abstract

Madrasah Ibtidaiyah plays a strategic role in shaping students’ basic personality, faith, and intellectual development. Educational philosophy functions as a conceptual foundation that determines the direction, objectives, and practices of Islamic education at the elementary level. This article aims to examine the philosophy of education in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah through ontological, epistemological, and axiological perspectives, as well as to analyze its practical implications for Madrasah Ibtidaiyah teachers. This study employs a qualitative literature review approach based on classical and contemporary Islamic educational philosophy sources. The findings reveal that Islamic educational philosophy provides a holistic framework for curriculum development, instructional methods, and Islamic character building. Practically, it requires Madrasah Ibtidaiyah teachers to act not only as instructors but also as moral guides and role models of Islamic values.
