Abstract

Tangkup Village has an area of 2,667 Km2, most of which is in the form of rice fields. The natural tourism potential of Tangkup Village is a rice field area located in Tangkup Anyar, a watershed located in Tangkup Desa area, and green hills that surround the village. Cultural potential in the form of cagcag woven cloth which is a typical product of Tangkup, traditional snacks called jaje tulud, tipat pesor and sangait. In other places, sangait is made from sweet potatoes, Sangait in Tangkup village is made from cassava which is widely grown by local people. However, in the process of developing this snack product, it encountered obstacles related to the dough that did not support the process of design tulud cakes with coconut shells. Even though the community wants to develop jaja tulud, the tools used should not be replaced. Because of these difficulties, not many residents survive to make jaja tulud which is usually used for ceremonial needs. Regarding its function as a typical snack, students want to develop this snack so that it can be of economic value and accepted by tourists through a more elegant presentation. Students are actively involved in the preparation for the formation of Pokdarwis so that the direction of village development is towards a managed and directed tourism village. So far, the potential management of Tangkup Village is still being handled independently by utilizing the land owned, especially those located near watersheds, in the form of cafes, rafting, Asta Gangga Park attractions and bamboo houses that are being built as tourist facilities on the hill. The village hopes that students will help generate the tourism potential of Tangkup Village, so that it is widely known and visitors enjoy the beauty of this beautiful fertile village through the preparation of local human resources to welcome Tangkup village which will soon become a tourist village.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of green marketing, electronic word of mouth (E-WOM), and brand image on purchase intention, both partially and simultaneously, in the case of Starbucks Reserve Dewata Bali. The phenomenon underlying this research is the growing awareness of environmental sustainability that shapes modern consumer behavior, especially in the premium coffee industry. Data were collected from 140 respondents who were consumers of Starbucks Reserve Dewata Bali using a questionnaire distributed via purposive sampling. The study applied descriptive quantitative methods with multiple linear regression analysis to test the hypotheses. The findings indicate that green marketing, E-WOM, and brand image each have a positive and significant effect on purchase intention. Simultaneously, the three variables contribute significantly to strengthening consumers’ intention to purchase. Green marketing strategies focusing on sustainability, positive consumer reviews shared digitally, and a strong, trusted brand image collectively reinforce consumers' purchase decisions. The study concludes that integrating environmental, social, and digital communication aspects into marketing strategies is crucial for enhancing purchase intention in environmentally conscious markets. These results provide managerial implications, suggesting that businesses, particularly in the premium coffee sector, should continuously strengthen sustainability practices, digital engagement, and brand positioning to remain competitive and relevant.

Abstract

Melalui warna tersebutmasyarakat Bali memuja keagungan dewata dan berbakti kepadaNya.Kata Kunci: bahasa nonverbal, simbol, warna, budaya Bali.ABSTRACTHumans are homo sapiens with the capability of thinking and conveying their thoughts andideas through language, both verbal and nonverbal. Verbal language uses words which isdelivered orally or written down. In the other side, nonverbal language is applied with symbols. The existence of these two types of language certainly lives in society since not all objects canbe explained completely by words. Examples of nonverbal language such as put a fist whichmeans encouraging or supporting, opening hands means have no ideas, or waving meanssaying goodbye. The use of color as a form of nonverbal language refers to the choice of colorsand the meanings they represent, for example flag colors, wall, uniform or hair paint. Thelanguage of color in Balinese culture has its own meaning which is realized in the offerings ofcanang, segehan and caru. In Bali, each direction is represented by a certain color and at thesame time refers to the god who rules it. The black color is used for the north and representDeva Vishnu. White color for the east to worship Deva Iswara. Red in the south as a form ofrespect for Deva Brahma. Yellow in the west is for worshiping Deva Mahadeva, while the mixedcolor (brumbun) in the middle is a form of worship for Deva Shiva. The color compositionoriginates from the God of Pengider-Ider who rules over the earth according to Hindu belief. Thus, color is not only a bias of light that is captured by the eyes, but contains a deeper valueregarding belief. Through certain colors, the Balinese people express the greatness of gods andworship Him.Keywords: nonverbal language, symbol, colors, Balinese culture
