Abstract

Desa Wisata Munggu merupakan salah satu desa wisata yang menjadi lokasi kegiatan Kuliah Kerja Nyata (KKN) Universitas Triatma Mulya, 2022. KKN merupakan salah satu pelaksanaan kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat. Artikel ini menganalisis tentang pemberdayaan masyarakat lokal dalam pengembangan desa wisata melalui program Kuliah Kerja Nyata (KKN) di Desa Wisata Munggu. Tujuan pengabdian kepada masyarakat melalui kegiatan KKN di Desa Wisata Munggu diarahkan pada pemberdayaan masyarakat lokal dalam pengembangan desa wisata dengan pola peningkatan kualitas sumber daya manusia di bidang perhotelan dan pariwisata. Metode yang digunakan adalah sosialisasi, pelatihan, dan webinar edukasi. Kegiatan pengabdian di Desa Wisata Munggu menunjukkan bahwa enam program telah dilaksanakan dengan baik terkait pemberdayaan masyarakat lokal dalam pengembangan Desa Wisata Munggu melalui kegiatan KKN. Program tersebut terdiri dari sosialisasi penerapan protokol kesehatan bagi masyarakat lokal, pelatihan kepemanduan di Era New Normal, sosialisasi terkait penerapan protokol kesehatan berbasis CHSE pada housekeeping department, sosialisasi dan pelatihan penyajian breakfast, sosialisasi dan pelatihan English for service, serta webinar edukasi dengan tema English is easy to learn.

Abstract

The research entitled The Implementation of Community Based Tourism Model in Munggu Village Badung Bali focused on how Munggu tourist village manage the local tourist potencies based on community participation. Data collected by observation and deep interview with village leaders and Pokdarwis (local tourism management) Head. Though the status as tourist village for Munggu village is given in 2010 with 10 other villages in Badung Regency but the follow up run slowly until the new Pokdarwis Leader make a visit to Tourist Board of Badung Regency who give a slight understanding. Then, the community-based management is implemented start from village legality, local people representative, socialization program to stakeholders, people chance for getting job, collaboration with BumDes (Commercial Village Board) as well as receiving profit through legal institution. In the program of managing Munggu Beach, Pokdarwis team held some preparations, such as cleanliness, placing food stall, parking area, toilet, information desk with healthy protocol aids. The source of fund come from food stall retribution and parking ticket. Later, it is divided 45% for BumDes after taking some for operational and depreciation. It means that the profit is shared to people through relevant institution where as another 5% for donation and education program. In short, Munggu Tourist Village successfully implemented community-based tourism management which is similar to village management model in Bali

Abstract

Pantai Munggu merupakan salah satu pilihan pantai untuk rekreasi bersama keluarga terutama anak-anak. Untuk mengembangkan Pantai Munggu sebagai objek wisata yang nyaman, diperlukan strategi pengelolaan yang tepat. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengungkapkan strategi yang dapat dilakukan pengelola untuk menampung pengunjung usia anak-anak sebagai bagian dari pemenuhan sapta pesona yang ditawarkan oleh pantai Munggu. Data dikumpulkan dengan wawancara mendalam dengan pihak manajemen dan observasi kemudian data dianalisis secara deskriptif. Strategi tersebut melibatkan manajemen dan masyarakat setempat untuk mewujudkan tujuan tersebut. Pembahasan penelitian menemukan 4 strategi, yaitu (a) Pantai Munggu tidak hanya sekedar pantai yang mirip dengan yang lain sehingga akan dirancang sebagai pantai ramah anak dimana anak-anak perlu diakomodasi karena juga membawa daya tarik dan keuntungan lebih. (b) Menghadap Samudera Hindia, ombaknya besar bisa jadi bagus untuk selancar yang didukung persewaan peralatan, (c) karang di pantai terkadang melukai kaki pengunjung tetapi paket eksplorasi karang dapat dicocokkan dengan anak-anak serta mencintai laut dan biota-nya , dan (d) Perlu rencana besar untuk menampilkan nama pantai di depan gerbang sebagai promosi di media sosial.

Abstract

This research discusses the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on the tourism sector in Canggu, Bali, especially at Theanna Villa & Spa Canggu. This pandemic has caused a drastic drop in tourist visit rates and room occupancy rates in the area. Even the situation is low, Theanna Villa & Spa Canggu chose to continue operating by implementing a different marketing strategy to maintain its business. This study aims to analyze the marketing strategy implemented by villa management in dealing with the Covid-19 pandemic. Room occupancy rate data from March 2020 to August 2022 is used to see changes in room occupancy rates over that period. The research method used in this study is a qualitative descriptive research method. Data collection is done by interview, observation, and documentation. The research showed that Theanna Villa & Spa Canggu applies a marketing mix by compiling a marketing mix to deal with the Covid - 19 pandemic in order to increase room occupancy rates. The results of this study explain that there are obstacles faced by Theanna Villa & Spa Canggu in marketing their products during the Covid - 19 pandemic.

Abstract

Natural tourist attraction is a tourist attraction in the form of diversity and uniqueness of natural wealth which includes natural tourist attractions based on the potential diversity and uniqueness of the natural environment that exists in the sea and land. Duda Timur is one of the villages that has a variety of natural potential that can be developed, namely in the natural attractions of land areas in the form of plantations, hills and rivers, the purpose of this study is to identify the potential possessed by the village that can be developed as a nature-based tourist attraction. The data collection techniques used in this research are observation, in-depth interviews and literature studies. The data analysis used was descriptive qualitative. The result of this research is that Duda Timur Village has tourism potential that can be developed, namely Jagasatru Waterfall, Beji Dedari and Bukit Putung

Abstract

Cemagi Village faces challenges in its human resources sector, which are not yet prepared to compete in the tourism industry, and waste management, which is deemed highly risky. In response to waste management issues, the Cemagi Village Perbekel has initiated the establishment of the Sarwa Metu Wangi TPS3R to oversee waste management and has appointed cadres to manage waste banks in each Banjar neighborhood. To address these issues, a pilot project was launched for women's empowerment activities in Cemagi Village, specifically in Banjar Sangiangan. These service activities aim to empower women in Cemagi Village by encouraging women's groups to actively sort waste, generate additional income from the sale of segregated waste, increase public awareness of the importance of proper waste management for environmental cleanliness and public health, and support tourism village development through the application of the Sapta Pesona principles. The method of implementing these activities involves conducting waste management awareness campaigns and providing assistance in waste sorting at residents' homes. The results of these activities indicate that the community has begun to actively sort waste in accordance with guidance provided by the implementation team during assistance. This is evident from the initial condition of waste deposits at the onset of waste bank activities, which were predominantly mixed or improperly sorted. However, after providing assistance at residents' homes, the waste brought to the waste bank has begun to be properly sorted. Changes in people's waste sorting behavior serve as an indicator of the success of awareness campaigns and mentoring efforts, reflecting an increase in public awareness regarding the importance of proper waste sorting for environmental protection.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Menerima fakta bahwa Bali sebagai tujuan wisata membuat orang membiarkan arus orangdatang dan menikmati aset yang dimiliki oleh Bali. Pengunjung juga membawa kebiasaan mereka dan itu dilakukan di sini di negeri ini dan dalam beberapa kasus orang lokalmengadopsinya. Hal positifnya, apa yang pernah dilakukan sejak lama mungkin ditingkatkan sesuai dengan persepsi dunia global untuk membiarkan semua orang mendapat kepuasan dalammenikmati liburan. Makalah ini membahas pandangan para wisatawan mancanegara maupundomestik mengnai Pulau Bali itu sendiri. Kebanggaan dan makna yang lebih rendah lainnya dilakukan dalam bentuk slogan-slogan dan dalam memahaminya memerlukan pemahaman yanglebih dalam. Sebuah lexis besar dapat menampung dua atau lebih lapisan makna dalam pengertian yang berbeda. Semantik, kata dieksplorasi dengan menerapkan teori semiotik(Barthes, 2007) untuk mendapatkan hubungan yang lebih mendalam antara makna yangterkandung di dalamnya. Penelitian dilakukan pada masyarakat sosial dan ditemukan bahwa beberapa kata yang membuat kita bangga juga mengandung nilai yang lebih rendah. Keywords: makna, label, nilai, kebanggaan ABSTRACT Accepting Bali as tourism destination made people let the flow of people come and enjoy theisland. Visitors also bring their habit and made it done here in the country  and in some cases local people adopt it. Positively, what got in previous centuries might be upgraded according tothe world-wide perception to let everybody got satisfaction vacation. This paper discuss various utterances of how visitors and domestics  see the island of Bali. Pride  and other lower meaningsare carried out in the slogans  which is needed deeper understanding. A great lexis may accommodate two or more layers of meaning in different senses. Semantically, words  areexplored by applying semiotics  theory  (Barthes, 2007) to gain deeper relationship betweenthose meaning contained. Abstract

ABSTRAKPenelitian ini berusaha untuk menyelidiki ideologi di luar perkawinan antar etnis yang seringdiadakan di Bali terutama oleh etnis Bali sebagai dampak dari era global dan status Bali sebagaitujuan wisata internasional. Budaya pulau ini menarik lebih banyak pengunjung. Ini adalahalasan besar ribuan orang datang mengunjunginya, mengambil pekerjaan, membuka usaha,membangun kegiatan tertentu, bahkan beberapa bertemu kekasih mereka dan menikah denganorang Bali. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menerapkan konteks situasi berdasarkan LinguistikSistemik dan wacana kritis. Ditemukan bahwa pernikahan Bali mengikuti norma purusa garisorangtua di mana wanita bergabung dengan keluarga pria dan menjadi bagian darinya. Wanitaitu setelah menghadiri ritual sudhi wadani (menyatakan dirinya menerima Wedha danmengikuti prinsip-prinsip Hindu) mendapat status yang sama dengan orang yang dilahirkandalam keluarga Hindu. Ritual ini melibatkan pamangku yang menjelaskan tujuan ritual denganjelas kepada peserta. Secara garis besar, teks sudhi wadani terbuka dan memperlakukan pesertasebagai anggota keluarga dengan hak dan tanggung jawab yang sama.Kata kunci: ideologi, perkawinan antar etnis, sudhi wadani, purusa, status yang samaABSTRACTThis research attempt to investigate the ideology beyond the inter-ethnic marriage which isoften held in Bali especially by Balinese ethnic as an impact of global era and the status of Balias international tourist destination. The culture of this island attracts more and more visitors.It is a big reason of thousand people come to visit it, take job, open business, build certainactivities, even some meet their lovers and married with Balinese. The research was done byapplying situation context based on Systemic Linguistics and critical discourse. It is found outthat Balinese wedding follows the norm of purusa line of parenthood in which the lady joinsthe man family and become part of it. The lady after attending sudhi wadani ritual (declareherself accepting Wedha and follow Hindu principles) got the equal status as the one who wereborn in Hindus family. The ritual involves pamangku who explain the ritual goal clearly tothe participant. Shorthly, the sudhi wadani text is open and treat the participant as the familymember with similar right and responsibilities.Keywords: ideology, inter-ethnic marriage, sudhi wadani, purusa, equal

Abstract

ABSTRAKPuisi berjudul 'Doa yang Ditukar' (Doa dipertukarkan) menjadi kontroversial di bulankedua tahun 2019. Beberapa komentar mengemuka yang sebagian besar dari merekamenyalahkan penulis. Dalam puisi ini, Fadli Zon, penulis memilih gaya bahasa informal.Tampaknya tetap pada tujuannya agar dapat diakses dengan mudah oleh setiap penutur asliBahasa Indonesia. Gaya ini tidak perlu pengetahuan ekstra dari pembaca untukmemahaminya karena menggunakan kata-kata umum. Penulis menggunakan media sosialuntuk mendukung karya ini yang tersebar luas sekaligus. Dalam hal pilihan kata, puisi diisidengan ekspresi emosional di balik doa suci yang dinyatakan di awal. Pada bait pertama,emosi dilakukan dalam struktur kalimat dengan strategi garis depan. Dalam strategi ini iamembangun Non-Subjek Fokus bukan Subjek Fokus. Dalam bait berikutnya, pergeseranmuncul pada pilihan kata daripada posisi struktural seperti yang terlihat sebelumnya.Serangkaian kata-kata positif muncul dalam jumlah yang lebih kecil daripada konotasinegatif yang terjadi. Secara referensi, penyair memilih kombinasi sistem referensiendophoria dan exophoria. Pada awalnya, penyair menggunakan referensi kataforis dandiikuti dengan sistem anaforis. Dalam bait penutup, itu adalah sistem referensi exophoria dimana pembaca membutuhkan pengetahuan yang baik untuk menemukan anteseden.Untungnya, exophoric ini tidak memaksa pembaca seperti teks lainnya, karena latarbelakangnya sudah dipublikasikan di stasiun TV atau media sosial.Kata kunci: puisi, gaya Bahasa, kata-kata umum, referensiABSTRACTThe poem entitled ‘Doa yang Ditukar’ (Prayers are exchanged) become controversialin the second month of 2019. Some comments raised which most of them blamed the writer.In this poem, Fadli Zon, the writer chooses informal language style. It seems fixed to his goalto be accessed easily by every native speaker of Bahasa Indonesia. This style need not extraknowledge from the reader to understand it since it uses common words. The writer usedsocial media to supports this piece of work spread widely at once. In terms of word choices,the poem is filled with emotional expression behind the sacred prayer which is stated at thevery beginning. At the first couplet, the emotion was carried out in the structure of thesentence with the fronting strategy. In this strategy it built the Non-Subjects Focused insteadof Subject Focused. In the next couplet, a shift appeared to the word’s choice rather thanstructural position as seen before. A series of positive words come up in smaller number thannegative connotations occurred. Referentially, the poet chooses combination of endophoriaand exophoria reference system. In the beginning, the poet used cataphoric reference andfollowed with anaphorical system. In the closing couplet, it is exophoria reference systemwhere the reader needs a good knowledge to find the antecedent. Luckily, this exophoric did  not force the reader much as the other text, since the background is already published on TVstation or social media.Key words: poem, language style, common words, reference

Abstract

The aim of research entitled ‘Uma Lengge Maria Festival Event as event to invite more Visitor to Maria tourism Village di Wawo District Bima West Nusa Tenggara to describe the roles of the festival in increasing tourist coming to this object. This research use desciptive qualitative approach, that is systematically describe facts in a particular field or fenomena. Data collection methods were carried out by observation, interviews and documentation then analyzed in the stages of data collection, data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The informan of this research were selected based on the following characteristics: (1) were at the location when the event take place, (2) witnessed the progress of the event, (3) filled in the guest list, (4) are native people of Bima, (5) knew about the progress of the event, and (6) live near the festival location. The research results show that the Uma Lengge Maria Festival Event has main role in increasing cultural tourism with the MICE industry, especially in Bima where some traditional cultural values are shown and local product are displayed to public. It also improving the economy stage and tourism development in Bima
