Abstract

Effective communication in mathematics education is crucial for ensuring deep conceptual understanding and cognitive development in students. However, various communication challenges often arise, hindering the learning process and negatively impacting student outcomes. This study aims to explore the primary challenges in mathematical communication, including language differences, limitations in the use of visual and digital aids, and discrepancies between students' learning styles and teaching methods. Through a qualitative approach involving literature review and case study analysis, this research identifies that language barriers and mathematical terminology, suboptimal use of visual aids, and the mismatch between teaching methods and students' learning styles are significant obstacles in mathematical communication. The findings suggest that these challenges can lead to misunderstandings, a lack of deep conceptual understanding, and a decrease in student motivation and engagement in learning. As a solution, this study recommends strategies such as clearer explanations of terminology, better integration of visual aids, and adapting teaching methods to align with students' learning styles. By adopting an integrated and adaptive approach, it is hoped that communication in mathematics education can be enhanced, thereby supporting better conceptual understanding and more meaningful learning experiences for students

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan proses pembelajaran menggunakan media Kadolan (Kartu Domino Perkalian) untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar matematika konsep perkalian siswa kelas II UPT SDN 263 Kabupaten Pinrang. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). Subjek pada penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas II UPT SDN 263 Kabupaten Pinrang tahun ajaran 2023/2024 yang berjumlah 27 siswa. Desain penelitian ini mengacu pada desain penelitian tindakan kelas menurut Kemmis dan Mc. Taggart yang meliputi (1) tahapan perencanaan, (2) pelaksanaan, (3) pengamatan dan (4) refleksi. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah (1) tes, (2) observasi dan (3) dokumentasi. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah lembar observasi dan tes. Berdasarkan Hasil belajar siswa pra siklus sebesar 53,93, selanjutnya dengan menggunakan media Kadolan (Kartu Domino Perkalian) dalam melakukan konsep perkalian meningkat menjadi 57,86 pada siklus I, kemudian guru melakukan perbaikan dengan membagi kelompok sesuai hasil belajar siklus I, membagi tugas pada setiap anggota kelompok, memberikan waktu kepada siswa untuk mengerjakan perkalian pada siklus II terjadi peningkatan sebesar 72,50. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan media Kadolan (Kartu Domino Perkalian) dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar matematika konsep perkalian siswa kelas II UPT SDN 263 Kabupaten Pinrang.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar mata pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia pada siswa kelas V di UPT SDN 212 Pinrang melalui metode pembelajaran Whole Brain Teaching. Metode ini diterapkan dengan tujuan mengoptimalkan partisipasi aktif siswa dan memanfaatkan seluruh potensi otak dalam proses pembelajaran. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dengan siklus perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas V yang terdiri dari dua puluh siswa. Pelaksanaan penelitian dilakukan dalam empat tahap siklus PTK. Setiap siklus mencakup tahap perencanaan yang meliputi perumusan tujuan pembelajaran, penyusunan rencana pembelajaran Whole Brain Teaching, dan penentuan teknik pengajaran yang tepat. Selanjutnya, tahap pelaksanaan dilakukan dengan menerapkan metode Whole Brain Teaching dalam setiap sesi pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia. Observasi dilakukan untuk memantau partisipasi siswa, respons terhadap metode, serta kemajuan dalam hasil belajar mereka. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan yang signifikan dalam hasil belajar siswa setelah penerapan metode Whole Brain Teaching. Partisipasi aktif siswa terlihat lebih tinggi, dengan tingkat pemahaman materi yang lebih baik dan kemampuan mengaplikasikan pengetahuan secara efektif. Teknik analisis yang digunakan meliputi analisis kualitatif terhadap respons siswa dan pencapaian tujuan pembelajaran. Simpulannya, metode Whole Brain Teaching efektif digunakan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar Bahasa Indonesia pada siswa kelas V, menunjukkan bahwa pendekatan ini dapat menjadi alternatif yang berharga dalam konteks pendidikan di UPT SDN 212 Pinrang.

Abstract

Contracts are of various kinds of tasharruf, namely "everything that comes out of a human being with his will and the syara' stipulates some of his rights". In muamalah activities, the contract is an inseparable part of a series of transactions or agreements on the contract itself. The most important aspect of muamalat fiqh in contracting with Islamic economics is transaction law (law) which includes general contract principles and specific provisions for various specific contracts. One aspect of the general contract is about the pillars and terms of the contract as an element of forming the contract. In the practice of buying and selling muamalat, there are pillars and conditions that make a sale and purchase valid including 3 (three) things, namely; the contract, the contract (the existence of goods), and the prayers of the people in the contract.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the strategy of Waste Bank Unit Asoka V Makassar to manage waste in Makassar City. The research used a qualitative study through observation, interviews, and documentation. The informants and primary data sources of this study are representatives of the Waste Bank Asoka V Makassar managers and the community selected based on purposive sampling techniques. In contrast, secondary data are obtained from documentation studies and various previous studies relevant to the topic of this study—the data is analyzed with three stages of descriptive analysis; data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. The results of this study indicate that Waste Bank Asoka V Makassar's waste management is running well and innovatively. Some strategies carried out by Waste Bank  Asoka V Makassar in waste management are: conducting massive socialization and collaborating with PT. Pegadaian, introducing waste management innovations and optimizing services. Practically, the results of this study indicate that effective waste management can be achieved through various strategies that involve the community and innovation, as well as the importance of collaboration between the government, fund providers, and the local community. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui strategi Bank Sampah Unit (BSU) Asoka V Makassar dalam pengelolaan sampah di Kota Makassar. Studi ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan menggunkan metode pengumpulan melalui observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Adapun yang menjadi informan sekaligus sumber data primer penelitian ini adalah keterwakilan dari pengelola BSU Asoka V Makassar dan masyarakat yang dipilih berdasarkan teknik porposive sampling, sedangkan data sekunder diperoleh dari studi dokumentasi dan pelbagai penelitian terdahulu yang relevan dengan topik penelitian ini. Data tersebut selanjutnya dianalisis dengan tiga tahapan analisis deskriptif; reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penegelolan sampah oleh Bank Sampah Asoka V makassar berjalan dengan baik dan inovatif. Adapun  beberapa strategi yang dilakukan Bank Sampah Asoka V Makassar dalam pengelolaan sampah yaitu: melakukan sosialisasi secara massive, bekerjasama dengan PT. Pegadaian, mengenalkan inovasi pengelolaan sampah dan mengoptimalkan pelayanan. Secara praktis, hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pengelolaan sampah yang efektif dapat dicapai melalui berbagai strategi yang melibatkan masyarakat dan inovasi, serta pentingnya kolaborasi antara pihak pemerintah, penyalur dana dan masyarakat setempat.

Abstract

The purpose of the current study was to find out the effect of the evaluation model on the school counselor's accountability in State Junior High School of East Jakarta in carrying out guidance curriculum. The study employed waiting-list control group true experimental research. The subject of the study was thirty-three school counselors of State Junior High Schools of East Jakarta who were randomly selected and assigned into experimental and control group. The instrument utilized in the study was accountability scale consisting of 3 subscales including Accountability scale in the version of Headmaster, Homeroom teacher, and students. The school counselor's accountability score which was a composite score of three subscales was analyzed using ANAKOVA in order to find out the effect by controlling the variable of attitude toward guidance curriculum evaluation and guidance curriculum evaluation skill. The result of the study showed that accountability-oriented guidance curriculum evaluation model could not improve the whole accountability components of school counselors of state junior high schools of East Jakarta in carrying out guidance curriculum. There was only one accountability component that was affected by the evaluation model namely the component of explaining guidance curriculum to the stakeholder. The result of the study provides contribution to the Educational Service (Dinas Pendidikan) and the school counselors as consideration in carrying out training activity in order to improve guidance curriculum evaluation skill.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to design UI/UX prototype of the stunting survey application according to user needs, namely (a) users can manage family data, (b), manage prospective bride data, (c) users can input questionnaire data, (d) search data, (e) see evaluation of questionnaire survey results, and (f) users can see the coordinate points of the survey results. The method used in the research is User Centered Design (UCD) which consists of 4 stages, namely Understand context of use, Specify user requirements, Design solutions, Evaluate against requirements. This research successfully designed the design and prototype of a stunting survey application that focuses on user needs and convenience. The prototype testing scenario was carried out with 2 experts who each have expertise in the field of UI/UX Designers and in the field of Public Health, the test results showed that the application interface was well received by the testers, and most tasks could be completed smoothly. This shows that the stunting survey application prototype has been made according to user needs, functional suitability, and easy to navigate by users. The results of this research are expected to be implemented in the actual environment so as to get feedback from users, in this case public health officers as surveyors.

Abstract

CBT views academic procrastination as caused by a distortion cognitive of irrational thinking which assumes that homework are something that is difficult to complete and not easy to do. CBT theory states that students who procrastinate result in their solid cognitive structure and CBT works by replacing dysfunctional thoughts with rational ones. The three structures in cognitive behavior are: Automatic Thinking, Intermediate Beliefs, Core Beliefs. CBT focuses on changing dysfunctional thinking and behavior patterns so that CBT's tasks and commitments fit theoretically into Academic Procrastination. CBT provides appropriate interventions, such as value-directed behavior and goal setting (values), behavioral modeling and experiments (expectations), sub-goals and behavioral activation (time), as well as stimulus and implementation sensitivity to academic procrastination. The results of the study revealed that CBT was very effective in reducing students' academic procrastination. Although effective, CBT has some drawbacks because CBT interventions are relatively expensive and require a high level of expertise.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran matematika melalui pemanfaatan permainan tradisional intingan sebagai media pembelajaran. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian tindakan kelas yang terdiri dari dua siklus dimana setiap siklus terdiri dari tahap perencanaan, tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi. Subjek dari penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas II SDN 77 Rante Lemo dengan jumlah siswa yaitu 11 siswa. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian berupa lembar observasi siswa, lembar observasi guru, dan soal tes. Data hasil belajar dianalisis dengan menggunakan analisis kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukan adanya peningkatan hasil belajar siswa setelah diterapkannya permainan tradisional intingan dimana pada siklus I ada 7 siswa yang sudah tuntas sesuai dengan KKM dan 4 siswa belum tuntas dengan presentase ketuntasan 64% dan nilai rata-rata 72,72, sedangkan pada siklus II ada 10 siswa yang sudah tuntas dan hanya 1 siswa yang belum tuntas dengan presentase ketuntasan 91% dan nilai rata-rata 86,36%. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa pemanfaatan permainan tradisional intingan dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar matematika pada siswa kelas II SDN 77 Rante Lemo.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the role of organizational commitment as mediating the influence of GHRM & organizational culture on Eco Friendly at Dishub Boyolali. This research method is quantitative. The population in the study were employees of the Boyolali Regency Transportation Office. In sampling this study using non-probability sampling method with purposive sampling. The number of samples of this study were 100 respondents. The data analysis method uses SMART PLS. The results of this study are that GHRM has a negative and insignificant effect on Eco-Friendly at the Boyolali Transportation Office. Organizational Culture has a positive and significant effect on ECO Friendly at the Boyolali Transportation Agency. GHRM has a positive and significant effect on organizational commitment at the Boyolali Transportation Agency. Organizational culture has a positive and significant effect on organizational commitment at the Boyolali Transportation Agency. Organizational commitment has a negative and insignificant effect on mediating the effect of GHRM on eco-friendly. Organizational commitment mediates organizational culture on eco-friendly negatively and insignificantly.
