Abstract

This study aims to analyze predisposing and supporting factors in the use of HIV testing in pregnant women. The method used is a literature review using the PRISMA checklist and searching for articles from 2015 to 2020, utilizing five databases: Cambridge eJournal, Scopus, Science Direct, Proquest, and Google Scholar. The results obtained 16 articles that met the inclusion criteria from 2036 articles in this study. In conclusion, most of the use of HIV testing is influenced by age factors, education level, perceptions of HIV testing, health promotion, human resources, infrastructure, and facilities, which have a significant impact on the awareness, willingness, and ability of pregnant women to undergo HIV testing. Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengkaji perilaku pengobatan pasien TBC berdasarkan teori Health Belief Model. Metode penelitian ini dengan penelusuran artikel-artikel berbahasa Indonesia dan bahasa inggris yang tersedia pada database online antara lain Google Scholar, Pubmed dan Science Direct dikaji dan dipilih artikel yang paling relevan dengan topik. Kata kunci yang sesuai dengan tujuan penelitian dan memenuhi kriteria inklusi ditentukan dan digunakan saat mencari artikel pada database di atas. Hasil penelitian ini yaitu artikel dipilih karena sesuai tujuan penelitian dan kriteria inklusi. Sebagian besar penelitian yang menggunakan teori HBM mengungkapkan bahwa terdapat hubungan antara komponen HBM dengan perilaku pengobatan pasien TBC. Penelitian Fitriani dan Dwijayanti, (2023) menggunakan teori HBM menemukan bahwa terdapat hubungan antara semua komponen dalam HBM dengan kepatuhan pengobatan pasien TB. Kesimpulan penelitian ini yaitu bahwa perilaku pengobatan pasien TBC dapat dianalisis secara komplek dengan teori Health Belief Model antara lain Perceived susceptibility, Perceived severity, Perceived threat, Perceived benefit, Perceived barriers, Self-efficacy dan Cues to action. Kata Kunci: Pasien TBC, Perilaku Pengobatan, Teori HBM.

Abstract

Children's understanding of healthy and nutritious diets needs support from teachers and parents. Research on group students preschool Melati Indah Batan, Banyudono, Boyolali.Regency which was carried out in September 2023 aimed to determine the role of teachers and parents in introducing healthy balanced nutrition to children. A qualitative descriptive approach was applied in this study with data collection methods through observation, and interviews. The data are in the form of student activity descriptions, and the results of interviews with teachers and students' parents. The results showed that several students brought lunch of non-nutritious food. For this reason, efforts are required to increase understanding of the importance of classically healthy and nutritious food for children, which is welcomed by parents. This is proven by the students' lunch menu which is healthier and more varied. The role of teachers and parental support through healthy eating habits, and balanced nutrition in the provision of daily menus or provisions for students to school is a real effort to increase student understanding of healthy and nutritious diets.

Abstract

Tujuan dilaksankannya pengabdiaan masyarakat ini adalah untuk mengembangkan kemampuan masyarakat khususnya ibu-ibu rumah tangga dalam bidang kewirausahaan. Pemahaman ini dapat memberikan gambaran kepada ibu-ibu rumah tangga dalam hal membuat laporan keuangan secara sederhana dan pengembangan promosi terhadap produk lokal dengan memanfaatkan teknologi terkini. Peran serta ibu-ibu rumah tangga dalam membentuk karakter generasi muda yang mendukung kelestarian lingkungan hidup untuk meningkatkan kemandirian ekonomi masyarakat di kelurahan Kasupute melalui green economy sangatlah penting. Kegiatan pengabdiaan ini meliputi persentasi, ceramah yang dilanjutkan dengan sesi tanya jawab dengan peserta, dan praktik. Pelaksanaan kegiatan dilakukan dengan tiga tahapan yaitu persiapan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi. Pada tahap persiapan, tim pengabdian masyarakat melakukan survei untuk mengetahui kondisi dan menganalisis tempat yang akan digunakan dalam pelaksanaan kegiatan. Selanjutnya tim menyiapkan materi yang akan dipersentasikan kepada peserta pengabdian masyarakat.Tahap pelaksanaan dimulai dengan penyampaian materi tentang konsep Green Economy, mengenal proses bisnis dan langkah-langkah untuk pembuatan laporan keuangan sederhana serta pemanfaatan teknologi. Setelah penyampaian materi, tim pengabdian masyarakat akan memberikan kesempatan kepada peserta untuk melakukan sesi tanya jawab sehingga dari tahapan ini diharapkan terjalinnya interaksi antara peserta dengan tim pengabdian. Tahap terakhir adalah evaluasi, dimana pada tahap ini tim pengabdian masyarakat akan melakukan wawancara lanjutan terhadap peserta atas dampak dari pelaksanaan pengabdian. Berdasarkan hasil umpan balik yang ditawarkan oleh tim pengabdian diharapkan hasil kegiatan ini bersifat relevan dengan kebutuhan peserta

Abstract

Child marriage often involves adolescents aged 10–19 years and poses significant health risks and challenges to gender equality. The aim of this systematic review was to examine the involvement of adolescent girls in decision-making processes regarding child marriage and identify influencing factors. Following the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA) guidelines, this review covered studies published between January 2014 and July 2024. The databases searched included ScienceDirect, Springer Link, PubMed, and Taylor & Francis, using terms related to adolescent girls, decision-making, and child marriage. Inclusion criteria targeted studies involving girls aged 10–19, with methods including qualitative, quantitative, longitudinal, and mixed-method, published in English. Data extraction and quality assessment followed the standards of the Joanna Briggs Institute. Of 6,967 articles, 29 met the inclusion criteria, spanning 26 countries across three continents, with 51.7% being qualitative studies. Economic pressure was identified as the primary driver of child marriage, with significant parental and community influences restricting the girls' decision-making autonomy. Parents, especially fathers, often force girls into marriage to reduce economic burdens and enhance family honor. Some adolescent girls initiate marriage to escape adverse home conditions or societal stigma. Education and strong family support emerged as protective factors, while entrenched social norms perpetuated early marriages. Comprehensive approaches including educational improvement, economic support, and social norm transformation are essential. Addressing child marriage requires multidimensional strategies, encompassing enhanced educational opportunities, economic support, and changing entrenched social norms. Future research should focus on interventions that boost adolescent girls' life skills and decision-making autonomy to delay marriage and enable informed choices.

Abstract

Penelitian ini berfokus pada perilaku merokok suami menyebabkan terganggunya kesehatan janin dan ibu hamil, menggunakan metode sistematik literature review tujuh jurnal nasional maupun internasional melalui pencarian artikel terbitan tahun 2019-2023 pada google scholer, pubmed, dan BMC Public Health. Berdasarkan hasil temuan perilaku merokok suami disebabkan oleh yaitu usia suami, pendidikan suami dan ibu hamil, pekerjaan suami dan ibu hamil, perencanaan kehamilan, dan lingkungan tempat tinggal. Edukasi prenatal bagi calon ayah dan ibu hamil perlu dilakukan. Tujuan penelitian ini mengidentifikasi strategi yang efektif untuk meningkatkan kesadaran suami tentang bahaya merokok terhadap ibu hamil dan janin. Penelitian ini menggunakan diagram prisma. Total artikel 2340, sebanyak 2200 artikel dikeluarkan karena tidak memenuhi kriteria inklusi dibawah tahun 2015. Jurnal yang eligible sebanyak 20 kemudian dieliminasi 13 karena akses berbayar, ketidaksesuain topik, dan ketidaksesuaian penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa perlu ada edukasi prenatal bagi calon ayah dan ibu hamil. Kemudian peninjauan kembali peraturan pemerintah tentang kawasan tanpa merokok ditempat umum dan di rumah sehingga tidak ada pihak rentan seperti ibu hamil masih terkena paparan rokok orang lain.

Abstract

The discipline attitude of a teacher affects professionalism in playing teaching tasks. Some of the problems that occur regarding the disciplinary behavior of teachers are still found including coming late to school, late for class and lack of discipline in class attendance. If this condition continues and does not get a good solution, it is possible that it can affect student learning activities. In response to this problem, school action research (PTS) was carried out through group counseling in academic supervision at schools. In this case, the focus of the research is how to improve teacher teaching discipline through group counseling in academic supervision at SD Negeri Ngadiharjo 1. The subject of the research is the competence of teachers at SD Negeri 1 Ngadiharjo, with qualitative and descriptive comparative data collection. The results showed that efforts to improve teacher teaching discipline increased with the implementation of actions in cycle I and cycle II through group counseling in academic supervision at SD Negeri Ngadiharjo 1.

Abstract

Background: TikTok is a social media application that has become popular among the younger generation due to its short, creative, and straightforward content. These aspects can render TikTok a potential application for mental health education. However, the downsides of lacking credibility checks and the potential for spreading misinformation exist and can be harmful to users.  Objectives: This scoping review aims to explore the potential and challenges of TikTok as a medium for mental health education. Methods: This study employed a scoping review approach. Three databases were employed in the data review: Science Direct, ProQuest, and PubMed. ‘Mental Health’ and ‘TikTok’ were the primary keywords. After rereading each paper with consideration for the relevance and lucidity of the findings, it was determined that 16 articles were suitable for this evaluation. Results: TikTok may be used as a platform of mental health education, awareness-raising, and support due to its wide reach and interactive nature. Its effectiveness relies on the content type and quality, psychological characteristics of users, and credibility checks. Minimizing the danger of misinformation and emotional disturbance of users is a concern. There needs to be more media literacy, content regulation, and active participation of mental health professionals in content creation to harness the TikTok platform to its full potential as a mental health education tool.    Conclusions: TikTok can to be a powerful tool for mental health education and literacy, but its effectiveness is contingent on content quality, user characteristics, and credibility filtering. To realize maximum gains and reduce the risk of spreading misinformation and injurious content, strict moderation, regulation, and user education are required.

Abstract

This systematic literature review investigates the long-term health effects of contemporary diets, focusing on low-carb, ketogenic, intermittent fasting, and plant-based diets. The review analyzes studies published from 2015 to 2025, with an emphasis on their impacts on cardiovascular health, metabolic disorders, obesity, and overall quality of life. The results indicate that while ketogenic and low-carb diets are effective in weight loss and managing metabolic health, concerns regarding long-term sustainability and potential risks, such as nutrient deficiencies and cardiovascular implications, need to be addressed. Intermittent fasting shows promising results in improving metabolic health and longevity but poses challenges related to adherence. Plant-based diets were associated with reduced risks of chronic diseases, though potential nutrient deficiencies require careful management. The review concludes that no single diet fits all; personalized nutrition based on individual needs, health conditions, and lifestyle is key to achieving long-term health benefits. Further research is needed to determine the optimal approaches for maintaining health through diet over extended periods.

Abstract

Introduction: The increase in cigarette production use in Indonesia has contributed to the rise of non-communicable diseases, affecting both active and passive smokers. Based on the 2023 Indonesian Health Survey around 70 million people in Indonesia smoke actively, with 7.4% of them being between the ages of 10 and 18 years old. Effective tobacco control and public education communications are essential to protect vulnerable populations from the dangers of passive smoking. Objective: To increase awareness among active smokers, this study analyzed communication messages about the impact of smoking on children and women regarding communication messages as tobacco-free education. Method: This qualitative study employed Focus Group Discussions (FGDs) involving active smokers from rural and urban areas in Indonesia. Participants were recruited from urban university students living in Surabaya and rural areas of Banyuwangi through online brochures distributed at multiple universities in each region. Eligible participants were both female and male active smokers who had been smoking for the last 3 years, consumed more than five conventional cigarettes, and had used electronic cigarettes more than five times. The study included two discussion groups, each with six participants. Data analysis was using thematic analysis. Result: Six types of media communications were conducted for each child and woman. The respondents in rural East Java equally favored messages A and C. Regarding the children communication in Urban East Java, most participants preferred message C, whereas one selected message B. Regarding the women’s communication, most urban participants chose message C, with two selecting message C and one choosing message B. Most participants acknowledged the adverse health impacts of cigarette smoking on passive smokers. Both rural and urban participants selected communication messages on children’s and women’s mortality data as impactful for tobacco-free education for active smokers. Conclusion: Communication messages focusing on children and women can effectively influence the perceptions and emotions of active smokers as tobacco-free education. Media development is needed to convey educational messages that inform both active and passive smokers, encouraging awareness and behavior change.
