Abstract

Program kegiatan pengabdian ini dilaksanakan dengan tujuan untuk membantu permasalahan yang dihadapi oleh usaha kecil pembuatan tempe “Jumari” yang mengalami permasalahan dalam produksi dimana pengelupasan kedelainya masih dilakukan secara tradisional dengan menginjak injak kedelai, sehingga proses pengerjaan lama, kualitas tempenya tidak bersih dan hasil produksi tempenya tidak maksimal. Solusi untuk membantu permasalahan yang dihadapi adalah dengan membuatkan mesin pengelupas kedelai, memberikan pelatihan penggunaan mesin, mendampingi sampai dapat meningkatkan produksi tempe dan melakukan evaluasi kegiatan. Berdasarkan hasil evaluasi dari pengabdian yang berupa pemberdayaan ini adalah telah ddapatkan mesin pengelupas kedelai dan ada peningkatan produksi, dimana waktu untuk mengelupas kedelai lebih cepat dari sebelumnya, kualitas hasil tempe lebih bersih, dan adanya peningkatan laba bersih

Abstract

IbM’s devotion partner is a joint business group (KUB) Delima and KUB Citra Ku- susma who are entrepreneur in the field of food. The problems that arise are: (1) production aspect, want to increase production quantity but constrained equipments possessed very sim- ple and minimal (2) quality aspect, the product has not got PIRT license and not yet neat, so it needs to be improved for marketing expansion, (3) ) aspects of hiegene and sanitation, not con- sidering individual hygiene and equipment and environmental sanitation (4) aspects of busi- ness  management  and  marketing,  administrative  and  financial records  need  to  be  improved. For extensive marketing requires an attractive packaging and there is a manufacturer address. Based on the problems faced by the science and technology community partners (IbM) above, the solutions offered are: (1) Applied one unit of oven, (2) Applied one large mixer unit to stir the dough, (3). Produced cake recipe terstansdar from the amount of materials, processing techniques, neatness form and uniformity level of maturity. (4) Known the results of organoleptic test: in terms of taste, color, aroma and texture and known test results of the public / consumer against the cake in produc- tion. (5). The resulting design and quality of cake packaging is more interesting, (6). Assisted with the arrangement of PIRT permits for cakes made by KUB Delima and KUB Citra Kusuma, (7). Known nutritional content of cakes in the form of content: carbohydrates, fats, proteins, water content and ash content. (8). On business management (bookkeeping and administration) recorded complete and neat. (9). On marketing already using brochures and packaging already address the manufacturer. (10). The increased partner profits which in turn can increase the income and welfare of KUB members. (11). Generated scientific articles in national journals in order to publish the results of the activities

Abstract

Tujuan Penelitian ini untuk mengetahui kelayakan alat peraga AC Split dan mengetahui keefektifan alat peraga AC Split pada pembelajaran mata kuliah sistem pendingin. Penelitian ini menggunakan model ADDIE yang terdiri dari lima tahap. Metode yang digunakan yaitu dengan desain eksperimen (before-after) dengan uji One Grup Desaind Pretest-posttes. Populasi dalam penelitian ini yaitu mahasiswa Pendidikan Teknik Otomotif Universitas Negeri Semarang angkatan 2017 tahun ajaran 2018/2019. Subyek untuk menilai kelayakan alat peraga dari dosen jurusan Teknik Mesin Universitas Negeri Semarang dan tenaga pendidik dari BP DIKJUR. Hasil penilaian kelayakan alat peraga dari ahli media sebesar 80 dan dinyatakan sangat layak, penilaian dari ahli materi sebesar 85 dinyatakan sangat layak. Keefektifan alat peraga Hasil nilai rata-rata pretest yaitu sebesar 60,3 dan hasil nilai rata-rata posttest sebesar 78,3. Bedasarkan uji t diketahui bahwa terdapat perbedaan antara sebelum dan sesudah menggunakan alat peraga dengan hasil thitung sebesar 10,10 dan ttabel sebesar 2,022. Dari hasil tersebut dapat dinyatakan bahwa alat peraga tersebut terbukti efektif.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui tingkat kelayakan e-modul dan ejobsheet, tingkat kontribusi penggunaan e-modul dan e-jobsheet, dan tanggapan siswa terhadap e-modul dan e-jobsheet yang dikembangkan. Penelitian ini menggunakan model pengembangan. Model penelitian adalah Research and Development (R&D). Penelitian ini menggunakan Pre-Experimental Designs dengan model One Grup Pretest-Posttest Design. Hasil uji kelayakan ahli media diperoleh persentase sebesar 89%, ahli materi sebesar 81%, keduanya memperoleh kriteria sangat layak. Hasil penelitian menunjukan adanya peningkatan hasil belajar uji kompetensi siswa dengan nilai rata-rata pretest dan posttest sebesar 25,89%. Hasil analisis uji-t diperoleh thitung sebesar 14,337 dan ttabel 2.042 (thitung> ttabel), berarti ada perbedaan hasil belajar signifikan. Terdapat konstribusi efektif penggunaan e-modul dan e-jobsheet sistem penerangan yang signifikan terlihat dari uji n-gain diperoleh rata-rata sebesar 0,47 yang termasuk dalam kategori “sedang”. Analisis tanggapan siswa diperoleh persentase sebesar 85,39% termasuk kriteria sangat baik.

Abstract

This research aims to evaluate the implementation of competency test and work competency certification at LSP P1, in terms of the component variables of Context, Input, Process, and Product. This research is a descriptive evaluative research using the CIPP evaluation model approach. The research population was Vocational High School LSP P1 assessors from 9 Vocational High Schools in Pekalongan Regency and its surroundings. The sample was the research population who served as competency test assessors at LSP P1. Data collection methods in this research were questionnaire, interview, and document study. The content validity testing was by expert judgment, while the construct validity testing was by correlation analysis.. The research results were as follows; (1) in the context component, the percentage was F + = 66% and F - = 34% meaning that the implementation of competency test in terms of context variables is categorized as effective, (2) for the input component, the percentage was F + = 61% and F - = 39%, indicating that the implementation of competency test in terms of input variable is categorized as effective, (3) for the process component, the percentage was F + = 66% and F - = 34%, meaning that the implementation of competency test in terms of process variable is categorized as effective, (4) for the product component, the percentage was F + = 59% and F - = 41%, indicating that the implementation of competency test in terms of the product variable is categorized as effective, (5) T-score analysis of the four CIPP components, namely context, input, process, and product were (+ + + +) in the criteria of the Glickman Quadrant that were included in quadrant I, meaning that evaluation of the implementation of competency tests and work competency certification at LSP P1 in terms of all CIPP components is in the very effective or excellent category.

Abstract

Vocational High School (SMK) be expected to decrease the number of unemployment in Indonesia, not only as a job seeker but also as a job field creator (entrepreneur). The aims of the research are to produce a model of entrepreneurship training and to examine increasing of entrepreneur competence of Vocational High School students after using the model. The study used research and development (R & D) method, with four steps (1) defining and designing models; (2) doing validation by an expert; (3) doing a limited trial; (4) examining influence of model and getting final result of model. The results of research shown that the model of the Young Entrepreneur School (YES) training which is contained of Problem Base Learning elements, Vocational Education Concept, Associate by Technical Assistance and Knowledge, skills and attitudes assessment. Increased knowledge competence by 12%, attitude competence 60% and skill competency 58%. The important of finding model in training model of electronic services, where the students practiced the technical and management of entrepreneur. The benefit of this research in science and society was being a reference in giving entrepreneur training for students of Vocational High School. Thought this research was expected that could be reduce the number of unemployment for graduating of Vocational High School.

Abstract

This research was conducted with the main problem, namely the lack of resources that can be used by productive teachers in Vocational High Schools (SMK) in supporting industrial career path learning. Teaching materials that can be used as a provision to prepare students to enter the workplace, especially the fashion study program. This research aims to produce a feasible, practical, and effective module. In this research method, the R&D, the chosen design is ADDIE which consists of five stages: Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The unit of analysis of this research is the fashion design vocational career guidance module. The instruments used in this study are (1) module assessment sheets; (2) questionnaires; and (3) and a questionnaire. The data analysis used in this study consisted of: (1) categories to determine the feasibility level of the module; (2) Guttman's categorization for the practicality of the module, using the coefficients Kr and Ks; and (3) n gain test using t test, for module effectiveness. The results of the module feasibility test obtained a score of 4,71% with a very feasible category, the practicality of the module is 88% with very practical criteria, and the effectiveness of the module obtained an N-Gain score of 82.37%. It can be concluded that the module is effectively used as vocational teaching materials. Previous research is developing a printed career material module in a broad scope and it is necessary to have a career focus in a particular field. In this study, the module focuses on a career in fashion that is feasible, practical, and effectively used by productive students and teachers in learning industrial career paths.

Abstract

Penelitian  ini  bertujuan  untuk meningkatkan  pemahaman mahasiswa  tentang  penyearahan arus  pada sistem pengisian otomotif dengan menggunakan alata peraga sistem pengisian. Populasi penelitian adalah mahasiswa teknik mesin yang mengambil mata kuliah sistem kelistrikan otomotif dengan sampel berjumlah 30 orang.Desain penelitian adalah quasi experiment dengan perlakuan tambahan pada aktifitas belajar. Data diperoleh dengan pretes (sebelum penerapan alat peraga sistem pengisian) dan pos  tes (setelah penerapan alat peraga sistem pengisian). Data  selanjutnya  dibandingkan. Hasil  penelitian menunjukkan  bahwa  pemehaman mahasiswa  dalam penyearahan arus pada sistem pengisian otomotif meningkat secara signifikan dengan penggunaan alat peraga sistem pengisian.   Kata kunci: alat peraga penyearahan arus, sistem pengisian  This research was conducted to improve students’ understanding on directing the current in automotive charging system by applying its teaching aid. The population was mechanical engineering students programming automotive electrical system subject and 30 students participated as sample. This research was a time series design quasi experiment research carried out by giving additional treatmen in  learning activities. Data was collected by pretest (before applying charging system teaching aid) and post‐test (after applying charging system teaching aid). The data was then compared. The result indicated that the students’  understanding  on  directing  the  current  in automotive charging system significantly increased due to applying charging system teaching aid.   Keywords: direct current, teaching aid, charging system

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk merancang dan membuat panel peraga sistem kelistrikan bodi multi  fungsi dan  meneliti  peningkatan  kompetensi  sistem  kelistrikan  bodi  mahasiswa  setelah  menggunakan  panel  peraga. Metode  yang  digunakan  dalam  penelitian  ini  adalah metode  pengembangan  yang  dilakukan  dengan merancang, membuat  dan menguji  panel  peraga  sistem  kelistrikan  bodi multi  fungsi, menerapkan  panel  peraga, melakukan penelitian dengan metode quasi­experiment model one­group time series design. Pembelajaran dilaksanakan dalam dua tahap, pertama pembelajaran tanpa menggunakan panel dan kedua dilakukan dengan dilengkapi panel peraga multi fungsi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kompetensi mahasiswa setelah menggunakan panel peraga lebih tinggi dibanding sebelum menggunakan panel peraga. Ini menunjukkan bahwa alat peraga sistem kelistrikan bodi multi  fungsi dapat membantu mahasiswa dalam meningkatkan  kompetensi  sistem  kelistrikan bodi. Peningkatan kompetensi setelah penggunaan alat tersebut sekitar 31,87%.Kata kunci: peraga multi fungsi, sistem kelistrikan bodi The objectives of this research are to design and to make multifunctional  body  of  electrical  system teaching  aids  and  to  research  the  improvement of  students’  competence on  student body  electrical  system  after using  the  teaching aids. The method used  in  this research  is developing research done by designing, making, and testing  the  teaching  aids  of multifunctional  body  electrical  system,  applying  the  teaching  aids  in  teaching  and learning  process,  carrying  out  the  research  using  quasy  experimentwith  model  one  group  time  series  design. Teaching and learning process are held in two stages, first is ordinary  teaching and  learning process without  the teaching aids and the second is teaching and learning process with the teaching aids. The result indicates that the students’ competence after using the teaching aids in the teaching and learning process gets higher than before the application of teaching aids. This shows that the teaching aids could help students in improving their competence in body electrical system. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menyusun  Instructional  Materials  dan meningkatkan pemahaman mahasiswa  tentang penggunaannya pada  sistem Electronic Fuel  injection pada mata kuliah Perakitan otomotif  II. Desain penelitian adalah quasi experiment dengan pre dan pos  tes. Populasi penelitian adalah mahasiswa Teknik Mesin Unnes yang mengikuti mata kuliah Perakitan otomotif  II yaitu  sejumlah 42 orang yang  terbagi dalam dua kelompok. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pemahaman mahasiswa tentang sistem vahan bakar EFI setelah menggunakan Instructional Materials. Hasil belajar rata‐rata pre tes  adalah 60,92 dan rata‐rata pos tes adalah 77,83. Dengan demikian terjadi peningkatan hasil belajar belajar sebesar 27,77% jika dibandingkan dengan sebelum menggunakan Instructional Materials pada sistem bahan bakar EFI. This  research  aims  to  create  Instructional materials  and  to  increase  students  understanding of  lesson about  the  use  instructional  materials  and  the  fuel  system  Electronic  Fuel  Injection  (EFI)  in  the  Automotive Assembly II lecture, Mechanical Engineering students of State University of Semarang in 2009/2010.  The research used a quasi‐experimental design; it is pre­test­post­test design. The population of this research was students who took  the  Automotive  Assembly  II  lecture,  Mechanical  Engineering  Department,  Semarang  State  University consisting of 42 students in two different group. Because there was only one class for this lecture, all students from the class were chosen to be population. The result of analyzed data is that there is improvement in the fuel system Electronic Fuel Injection (EFI) understanding after the use of  the instructional materials for Automotive Assembly II lecture. The average value before using instructional materials (pre‐test) was 60.92 and the average value after using  instructional  materials  (post‐test)  was  77.83.  Therefore, it can be stated that the use of instructional materials EFI fuel system has been well and effective in accordance with students’ achievements. The achievements mentioned  here  are  the  achievements  of  students who  joined  the  Assembly Automotive  II  lecture  in which  the achievements  value  was  improved  from  27.77%;  the  percentage  before  using  instructional  materials  EFI  fuel system.Keywords: instructional materials, electronic fuel injection (EFI)
