Abstract

Penelitian  ini  bertujuan  untuk mengetahui  peningkatan  pemahaman mahasiswa  setelah  pembelajaran mempergunakan media peragatentang sistem pengisian pada sepeda motor pada mata kuliah Perakitan Otomotif I mahasiswa Teknik Mesin Universitas Negeri Semarang  tahun 2009/2010.Penelitian mempergunakan desain eks‐perimen  semu/Quasi Eksperiment Desaindengan  pola  pre  test­post  test  one  group  design. Populasi  penelitian  ini adalah mahasiswa yang mengambil mata kuliahPerakitan Otomotif  I  Jurusan Teknik Mesin Universitas Negeri Se‐marang yang  terdiri dari 68 mahasiswa rombongan belajar blok,karena sempel penelitian hanya satu kelas maka yang diambil adalah pada kelas blok rombel 2 yang terdiri dari 29 mahasiswa dari seluruh populasinya. Berdasar‐kan hasil dari analisis data bahwa ada peningkatan antara hasil belajar tentang sistem pengisian pada sepeda mo‐tor sebelum dan setelah menggunakan media peraga pada matakuliah perakitan otomotif I. Hal itu terlihat pada ha‐sil nilai rata‐rata sebelum menggunakan media peraga(pre test) sebesar 55,034 dan nilai rata‐rata setelah menggu‐nakan media peraga  (post  test)  sebesar 66,10,sehingga dapat dikatakan bahwa penggunaan media  peraga  sistem pengisian pada sepeda motor telah berjalan dengan baik karena prestasi belajar mahasiswa yang mengikuti perku‐liahan PerakitanOtomotif II mengalami peningkatan 20,10 % dari sebelum menggunakan media peraga sistem keli‐strikan pada sepeda motor.Kata kunci: sistem pengisian, sepeda motor This research was conducted to identify the  improvement of students’ understandings after  learning by using figure media about motorcycle charging system in Automotive Assembly I subject at Mechanical Engineering Department, Semarang State University year 2009/2010. The research used quasi‐experiment design with pre test­post test one group design. The population of it was students who took Automotive Assembly I subject at Mechanical Engineering Department,  Semarang  State University  consisting of 68  students  in block  study  group. Because  the population of this research was just from one class, the sample was then 29 students taken from the mentioned population. According to the data analysis result, there is difference of study result of motorcycle charging system before and after using the figure media in Automotive Assembly I subject. It is based on average score before using figure media (pre  test) about 55,034 and  the one after using  figure media (post  test) about 66,10. Hence  it can be stated  that  the use of motorcycle charging system  figure media has been applied well because the study achieve‐ments of students who joined Automotive Assembly I subject have increased about 20,10% from the achievements got before the use of figure media for motorcycle electricity system.Keywords: charging system, motorcycle

Abstract

Tujuan Penelitian ini untuk mengetahui kelayakan alat peraga AC Split dan mengetahui keefektifan alat peraga AC Split pada pembelajaran mata kuliah sistem pendingin. Penelitian ini menggunakan model ADDIE yang terdiri dari lima tahap. Metode yang digunakan yaitu dengan desain eksperimen (before-after) dengan uji One Grup Desaind Pretest-posttes. Populasi dalam penelitian ini yaitu mahasiswa Pendidikan Teknik Otomotif Universitas Negeri Semarang angkatan 2017 tahun ajaran 2018/2019. Subyek untuk menilai kelayakan alat peraga dari dosen jurusan Teknik Mesin Universitas Negeri Semarang dan tenaga pendidik dari BP DIKJUR. Hasil penilaian kelayakan alat peraga dari ahli media sebesar 80 dan dinyatakan sangat layak, penilaian dari ahli materi sebesar 85 dinyatakan sangat layak. Keefektifan alat peraga Hasil nilai rata-rata pretest yaitu sebesar 60,3 dan hasil nilai rata-rata posttest sebesar 78,3. Bedasarkan uji t diketahui bahwa terdapat perbedaan antara sebelum dan sesudah menggunakan alat peraga dengan hasil thitung sebesar 10,10 dan ttabel sebesar 2,022. Dari hasil tersebut dapat dinyatakan bahwa alat peraga tersebut terbukti efektif.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui tingkat kelayakan e-modul dan ejobsheet, tingkat kontribusi penggunaan e-modul dan e-jobsheet, dan tanggapan siswa terhadap e-modul dan e-jobsheet yang dikembangkan. Penelitian ini menggunakan model pengembangan. Model penelitian adalah Research and Development (R&D). Penelitian ini menggunakan Pre-Experimental Designs dengan model One Grup Pretest-Posttest Design. Hasil uji kelayakan ahli media diperoleh persentase sebesar 89%, ahli materi sebesar 81%, keduanya memperoleh kriteria sangat layak. Hasil penelitian menunjukan adanya peningkatan hasil belajar uji kompetensi siswa dengan nilai rata-rata pretest dan posttest sebesar 25,89%. Hasil analisis uji-t diperoleh thitung sebesar 14,337 dan ttabel 2.042 (thitung> ttabel), berarti ada perbedaan hasil belajar signifikan. Terdapat konstribusi efektif penggunaan e-modul dan e-jobsheet sistem penerangan yang signifikan terlihat dari uji n-gain diperoleh rata-rata sebesar 0,47 yang termasuk dalam kategori “sedang”. Analisis tanggapan siswa diperoleh persentase sebesar 85,39% termasuk kriteria sangat baik.

Abstract

Terdapat kesenjangan yang terjadi disebabkan oleh kesenjangan teknologi di industri dengan yangdiajarkan di SMK berbeda, kurikulum sekolah yang belum sesuai dengan kebutuhan industri dantenaga pendidik yang belum dapat mengimbangi atau kurang menguasai teknologi-teknologiterbaru sesuai kebutuhan industri saat ini. Mengevaluasi proses kelas industri Mitsubishi padaDU/DI. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengevaluasi proses kelas industri Mitsubishipada siswa, guru pembimbing, dan DU/DI. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Penelitianevaluasi (evaluasi research) dengan jenis penelitian process dengan pedekatan kuantitatif deskriptif.Populasi dan sampel adalah seluruh siswa kelas XII Teknik Kendaraan Ringan Otomotif kelasindustri Mistsubishi SMK Bina Utama Kendal sejumlah 1 kelas sebanyak 34 siswa, guruproduktif atau guru pembimbing kelas industri kompetensi Teknik Kendaraan Ringan Otomotifsebanyak 10 Guru, dan DU/DI kelas industri Mitsubishi sebanyak 2 orang. Teknik daninstrumen pengumpulan data dengan observasi, angket/kuesioner, dan dokumentasi. Uji validitasmenggunakan Product-Moment dan reliabilitas menggunakan Cronbach-Alpha. Teknik analisis datamenggunakan uji statistic deskriptif. Kesimpulan evaluasi proses kelas industri Mitsubishi padasiswa klasifikasi cukup. Evaluasi proses kelas industri Mitsubishi pada guru pembimbingklasifikasi tinggi. Evaluasi proses kelas industri Mitsubishi pada DU/DI klasifikasi sangat tinggi.

Abstract

The implementation of the Sanggul Gala learning is identical to the exploration of understanding, creativity, and imagination in order to produce a bun according to the desired theme. The limited references to books and modules, as well as the lack of Sanggul Gala learning media cause students' low understanding of the learning material. This is contrary to the factual condition, that vocational high school students in beauty study program are required to think critically and imaginatively in the Sanggul Gala learning process. The research questions of the present study are: 1) How is the development of Sanggul Gala e-Modul? and 2) how effective is the Sanggul Gala e-Modul in increasing the creativity of students in beauty study program?. The aims of this research are: 1) developing Sanggul Gala e-Modul; and 2) testing its effectiveness in increasing the creativity of beauty study program students. The research uses the RD (Research and Development) method referring to the ADDIE development model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). The research sample was students Beauty Study Program of SMK Negeri 1 Tegal. Based on the results of the validation of learning media experts, it was found that the results of the development of the Sanggul Gala e-Module learning media had met the following criteria: 1) validity level: 81.67% (valid); 2) the level of feasibility: 3.56 (feasible), (3) the level of reliability; 0.364 (reliable). At the trial stage of the Sanggul Gala eModul and the video for students of beauty study program, it was found that the average score of students increased by 29.7% in all aspects (cognitive, affective and psychomotor). This shows that the Sanggul Gala e-Modul learning media is significant in improving the cognitive, affective and psychomotor aspects of students in beauty study program.

Abstract

There was a technology gap between industry and vocational schools. The school curricula were not following industrial needs and the educators were lack of mastery of the latest technologies according to current industry needs. The study evaluated Mitsubishi's industrial class process on students, supervisors, business, and the industrial world (DU/DI). This research applied evaluation research with a descriptive quantitative approach. The students of XII Light Automotive Vehicle who participated in the Mitsubishi industrial class of SMK Bina Utama Kendal became the participants in this research. The research subject consisted of 34 students, ten industrial teachers, and two teachers from Mitsubishi. Then, the data instruments technique applied observation, questionnaires, and documentation. The validity test adopted Product-Moment, while the reliability test used Cronbach-Alpha. The data analysis technique applied a descriptive statistical test. The result showed Mitsubishi's industrial class process toward students was sufficient, while teachers and DU/DI were declared very high.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini menguji pengaruh penggunaan groundstrap dengan variasi bahan dan jumlah lilitan terhadap medan magnet pada kabel busi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah eksperimen, yaitu groundstrap  dengan bahan tembaga dan aluminium berdiameter 0,80 mm dengan variasi lilitan 100, 175, dan 250 dililitkan pada kabel busi dan diuji menggunakan gaussmeter yang di dekatkan pada kabel busi keadaan mesin hidup. Hasil penelitian dianalisis dengan teknik analisis deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan penggunaan bahan groundstrap dengan hambatan jenis rendah (tembaga) dan jumlah lilitan semakin banyak (250) lilitan pada kabel busi mampu menurunkan medan magnet paling baik dikarenakan mampu mengikat dan men-groundkan lebih maksimal. Rata-rata medan magnet kabel busi terendah dihasilkan groundstrap tembaga 250 lilitan sebesar 2,43 gauss

Abstract

Program kegiatan pengabdian ini dilaksanakan dengan tujuan untuk membantu permasalahan yang dihadapi oleh usaha kecil pembuatan tempe “Jumari” yang mengalami permasalahan dalam produksi dimana pengelupasan kedelainya masih dilakukan secara tradisional dengan menginjak injak kedelai, sehingga proses pengerjaan lama, kualitas tempenya tidak bersih dan hasil produksi tempenya tidak maksimal. Solusi untuk membantu permasalahan yang dihadapi adalah dengan membuatkan mesin pengelupas kedelai, memberikan pelatihan penggunaan mesin, mendampingi sampai dapat meningkatkan produksi tempe dan melakukan evaluasi kegiatan. Berdasarkan hasil evaluasi dari pengabdian yang berupa pemberdayaan ini adalah telah ddapatkan mesin pengelupas kedelai dan ada peningkatan produksi, dimana waktu untuk mengelupas kedelai lebih cepat dari sebelumnya, kualitas hasil tempe lebih bersih, dan adanya peningkatan laba bersih

Abstract

IbM’s devotion partner is a joint business group (KUB) Delima and KUB Citra Ku- susma who are entrepreneur in the field of food. The problems that arise are: (1) production aspect, want to increase production quantity but constrained equipments possessed very sim- ple and minimal (2) quality aspect, the product has not got PIRT license and not yet neat, so it needs to be improved for marketing expansion, (3) ) aspects of hiegene and sanitation, not con- sidering individual hygiene and equipment and environmental sanitation (4) aspects of busi- ness  management  and  marketing,  administrative  and  financial records  need  to  be  improved. For extensive marketing requires an attractive packaging and there is a manufacturer address. Based on the problems faced by the science and technology community partners (IbM) above, the solutions offered are: (1) Applied one unit of oven, (2) Applied one large mixer unit to stir the dough, (3). Produced cake recipe terstansdar from the amount of materials, processing techniques, neatness form and uniformity level of maturity. (4) Known the results of organoleptic test: in terms of taste, color, aroma and texture and known test results of the public / consumer against the cake in produc- tion. (5). The resulting design and quality of cake packaging is more interesting, (6). Assisted with the arrangement of PIRT permits for cakes made by KUB Delima and KUB Citra Kusuma, (7). Known nutritional content of cakes in the form of content: carbohydrates, fats, proteins, water content and ash content. (8). On business management (bookkeeping and administration) recorded complete and neat. (9). On marketing already using brochures and packaging already address the manufacturer. (10). The increased partner profits which in turn can increase the income and welfare of KUB members. (11). Generated scientific articles in national journals in order to publish the results of the activities

Abstract

The Mechanical Engineering Department of Universitas Negeri Semarang received teaching aid grantin 2012 in the form of the “MimioTeach” consisting of MimioView, MimioPad and MimioTouch. However, until now the equipment has not been used optimally due to the lack of training. ”MimioTeach” is rich in features that can simplify the interactive teaching. The objectives of community service were: 1) introducing”MimioTeach”equipment consisting of Mimio Teach, Mimio Pad, Mimio View to the Lecturers of the Mechanical EngineeringDepartment, 2) trainingthe use of such equipment to the Lecturers of the Mechanical EngineeringDepartment, and 3) assisting Lecturers in using the equipment during their teaching proceess. The method of implementation was a training to use the equipmentduring the teaching proceess of the participants. The subjects of this training weretwenty lecturersof Mechanical Engineering. The results of the activities were 16 lecturers attended the Mimio Teach training in the Mechanical Engineering Department, Universitas Negeri Semarang. Participants were introduced to Mimio devices, were trained how to use it and were guided to operate the Mimio device independently. During the training the participants enthusiastically listened to and watched the demonstration of the use of instructional tools. Participants also asked about things that did not understand. When practical activities, the participants were proven to be able to operate the Mimiodevice. However, a continuous exercise is required to be more proficient.
