Abstract

Job performance has an important role in organizational development because along with the times and significant changes in the world of work, job performance must adapt and develop rapidly. Various types of research on job performance have been carried out by several researchers, one of which is linking job performance with aspects of personality. One of the personal aspects used in this study is Proactive personality. Proactive personality is considered important by most people in improving one's work performance. This was revealed because proactive personality is a personality where there is personal initiative to change the environment. Employees with proactive personality also have the willingness to take a self-initiative role when they have to contribute and identify the various situations and activities they face. In searching for this study, a number of studies have shown inconsistent results between the relationship between proactive personality and job performance. Therefore, this meta-analysis study will answer the correlation between proactive personality and job performance. From screening results of the journals to be analyzed, it was found that 5 journals were selected according to the criteria that met the inclusion criteria. Based on data from 5 journals that met the inclusion criteria, an effect size value was found of 0.216 (95% CI = 0.065 to 0.367), p = 0.005, with an inconsistency value (I2) of 91.23%. from these results it can be said that proactive personality on job performance in this study is included in the category that has a small effect on its influence.

Abstract

Happiness is an essential aspect of psychological well-being, and measuring it accurately is crucial for policymakers and researchers. The Oxford Happiness Questionnaire (OHQ) is a widely used tool to assess happiness, but its validity and reliability in different cultural contexts, such as Indonesia, are yet to be determined. This research aimed to analyze the item responses of the Indonesian version of the OHQ using the Generalized Partial Credit Model (GPCM). Participants were Indonesian citizens aged between 18-40 years old, and the data were collected through an online survey. The GPCM analysis revealed that three items in the Indonesian version of the OHQ have low discriminant value. This may be due to unclear statements or insufficient information to accurately measure happiness. Despite this, the overall conclusion is that the Indonesian version of the OHQ is suitable for use as a test tool to measure overall happiness perceived by people in Indonesia. This information can be valuable for policymakers and researchers to better understand happiness levels in the country and develop strategies to improve overall well-being. In conclusion, this study provides valuable insights into the validity and reliability of the Indonesian version of the OHQ, contributing to ongoing efforts to measure happiness in diverse cultural contexts. The findings can be used to inform future research and policy decisions aimed at promoting happiness and psychological well-being in Indonesian.

Abstract

Abstract

The increasing number of depressed people in Indonesia has not been matched by the available professionals and services. The development of online technology has encouraged researchers to develop online-based psychological intervention approaches for people to utilize independently (self-help). However, research remains inconsistent regarding the effectiveness of this approach. This study sought to examine the effectiveness of online self-help in reducing depression using a meta-analysis approach. Specifically, we systematically collected and analyzed 16 scientific publications. Findings show that the effectiveness of online self-help interventions in reducing depression is low. This may be due to the influence of several issues, such as the circumstances of the participants and the implementation of the intervention. The results of this study can be taken into consideration for practitioners or for individuals who would like to implement self-help interventions.

Abstract

Peneliti menggunakan The Cochrane Collaboration’s tool for assessing risk of bias in randomised trials untuk menilai resiko bias penelitian. The purpose of this study was to identify the efficacy of Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to improve emotion regulation for individuals with psychological disorders. The study method was a meta-analysis study with 11 international research articles. This research involved 507 participants from all of the previous studies. DBT intervention was given to the participants yet there were some studies used DBT-skill training programs. Researchers used The Cochrane Collaboration's tool for assessing the risk of bias in randomized trials to evaluate risk of bias. Data analysis of mean, standard deviation, and a total sample of control groups and intervention groups, using Jamovi 2 software and shows effect size hedge’s g values -,983 (95% CI –2,161 – ,259) and heterogeneity value I2 =  97,15%. Also, it showed egger’s bias P-value ,009 (P ,05), which explained a study bias. Results of the study emphasize that this study had a large effect size in which DBT is effective in improving emotion regulation for individuals with psychological disorders. This meta-analysis study had the lack of negative findings research and thus further meta-analysis research is necessary because it is also found an inconsistent finding.

Abstract Trauma related symptomps are known effects felt by people who have encountered potentially traumatic or negative events in their life. Trauma related symptomps can surface differently according to those who experienced them. From minor symtomps that an individual may experienced themselves or major symptomps which interrupt one’s social life such as anxiety, heavy trauma, or even PTSD Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. An intervention is needed to help treat these trauma related symtomps, one of the available intervention method is Cognitive Behavioural Therapy or CBT. but there are different results on how effective CBT is to treat trauma relate symtomps, so therefore this research is going to use meta-analysis to review 12 existing international randomized controlled trial journals that uses the design of having experimental and controlled group. The results of this research shows large to medium effect size with the score of -0,736 (95% CI= -1,827 hingga -0,355) that includes moderating factor of the CBT kind that is used in each journal and a publication bias because of the result of different kinds of CBT resulting in different level of its effectiveness in treating trauma related symtomps. This results indicated that CBT is quite effective on treating trauma related symtomps but the kind of CBT used must be taken into consderations in regards of different kinds of CBT resulted in different level of effectiveness.
