Abstract

This study aimed to examine the effectiveness of the SQ3R learning model on students’ cognitive learning outcomes in Islamic Religious Education (IRE) for seventh-grade students at SMP Negeri 1 Bandar Lampung. A quasi-experimental method with a posttest-only control group design was employed. The sample comprised two randomly selected classes: an experimental group (N = 32) taught using the SQ3R model and a control group (N = 32) taught using conventional methods. Data were collected through a validated and reliable multiple-choice posttest assessing cognitive domains of understanding (C2), analyzing (C4), and evaluating (C6). Data analysis included normality testing (Kolmogorov-Smirnov), homogeneity of variance (Levene’s test), independent samples t-test, and effect size calculation (Cohen’s d). Results revealed a statistically significant difference between groups (t(62) = 2.71, p = 0.009), with the experimental group achieving a higher mean score (M = 79.15, SD = 6.10) compared to the control group (M = 73.20, SD = 7.30). The effect size (Cohen’s d = 0.88) indicated a large effect. These findings confirm that the SQ3R model significantly enhances students’ cognitive learning outcomes, particularly in higher-order thinking skills. The study supports implementing the SQ3R learning strategy as a practical approach to improve academic performance in Islamic Religious Education.

Abstract

Inclusive-based Islamic religious education is an innovative and strategic approach to preventing religious radicalism. Inclusive Islamic religious education is also a form of Islamic education reform that emphasizes anti-discrimination, tolerance and mutual respect. This study aims to determine inclusive-based Islamic religious education in preventing religious radicalism in Indonesia. A qualitative method with the type of library research, examines a variety of related data, originating from the main data sources as well as supporting data sources that have a direct link with the research. The data obtained were then analyzed by conducting content analysis. The results of this study are in the form of findings relating to the implementation of inclusive-based Islamic religious education in preventing religious radicalism, namely it is found that (a) the goals of religious education are ideological-absolutistic or oriented towards pluralist-inclusive (b) the curriculum of religious education is more oriented towards rigid laws and exclusive into a love-oriented curriculum that is inclusive (c) normative-textual material becomes normative-contextual (d) exclusive-doctrinaire educators become inclusive-moderate educators (tawasuth). (e) The textualist-scriptura list learning strategy becomes an objective-positive approaches.

Abstract

Differentiated learning was an innovative educational approach aimed at meeting the learning needs of each student according to their characteristics, potential, and learning styles. In modern education, students had varying levels of readiness, interests, and cognitive profiles, which required teaching strategies to be flexible and adaptive. The purpose of this study was to examine the effectiveness of differentiated learning strategies in improving student learning outcomes and engagement. This research employed a qualitative method with a case study approach conducted in several schools that had implemented differentiated learning. Data were collected through observations, interviews with teachers and students, and analysis of instructional documents. Thematic analysis was used to explore how differentiation strategies were applied and their impact on the learning process. The results showed that well-implemented differentiated learning strategies enhanced students’ motivation, conceptual understanding, and active participation in the classroom. Teachers who applied these strategies were better able to adapt learning content, processes, and products to accommodate students’ unique needs, leading to a more inclusive and effective learning environment. In conclusion, differentiated learning proved to be an effective method for addressing individual learning needs and improving educational quality. Therefore, educators required ongoing training and support to design and implement differentiation strategies effectively across diverse educational contexts.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the relationship between decisional autonomy—as an aspect of self-confidence—and student engagement in learning within the Islamic Education program at UIN Raden Intan Lampung. The low levels of student engagement (33 %) and decisional autonomy (34 %) provided the rationale for this investigation. A quantitative ex post facto design was employed with 81 fifth-semester students in the 2024/2025 academic year, selected by simple random sampling from a population of 414. Data were collected via a Likert-scale questionnaire whose validity and reliability had been established. The analysis included tests for normality, homogeneity, linearity, and heteroskedasticity, as well as t-tests, F-tests, and the coefficient of determination, all conducted using IBM SPSS Statistics version 23. The results indicate that decisional autonomy has a positive and significant effect on student engagement, with a significance value of 0.017 (p < 0.05) and an F-statistic of 5.906. However, decisional autonomy accounts for only 7 % of the variance in engagement (R² = 0.070), while the remaining 93 % is attributable to factors beyond the scope of this study. This research contributes novel insights by simultaneously revealing the psychological and pedagogical interplay in an Islamic Education context that has traditionally relied on lecture methods and material perceived as insufficiently aligned with students’ career objectives. The findings may inform instructors in designing more interactive and relevant instructional strategies to enhance both decisional autonomy and student engagement.

Abstract

Technological advancements have significantly impacted various aspects of life, particularly education. The Covid-19 pandemic, which lasted for over two years, further disrupted the education sector, necessitating a shift in teaching and learning practices. New policies, often referred to as the "new normal," have brought changes that allow educational activities to resume as they were before the pandemic. This study explores learning solutions during the new normal and investigates future trends focusing on blended learning integrated with the flipped classroom method. The research was conducted at FTK Raden Intan Lampung using a case study methodology with a single-case design. Data were collected through observations, documentation, and interviews centered on the implementation of the blended learning model combined with the flipped classroom approach. The findings indicate that this model encourages students to engage in active, independent learning, enhances learning satisfaction, and holds potential as a future learning trend. In conclusion, the blended learning model utilizing the flipped classroom method emerges as an effective post-pandemic learning alternative. It offers convenience, fosters enthusiasm for learning, and enhances students' problem-solving abilities throughout the learning process.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana peran pondok pesantren dan pendekatan tasawuf dalam membentengi dari faham radikalisme. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan rancangan studi kasus. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi dan wawancara dengan pengelola pondok pesantren para ustaz dan beberapa santri. Data yang diperoleh kemudian dianalisis dengan reduksi data, penyajian data, verifikasi dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa peran pondok pesantren dalam membentengi dari faham radikalisme memiliki peran strategis. Karena elemen-elemen pondok pesantren seperti kiyai, santri, para ustaz, sarana prasarana, serta lingkungan bersinergi dalam menginternalisasikan nilai-nilai ajaran Islam. sehingga misi Islam sebagai agama yang rahmatan lil’alamin dapat teraktualisasikan. pendekatan tasawuf digunakan dalam membentengi faham radikalisme dengan cara mengisi dan mengasah ruh, hati dan akal dengan nilai-nilai ajaran Islam seperti bermujahadah, riyadhah dan penanaman nilai-nilai kebajikan lainnya. kemudian diimplementasikan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari dalam kegiatan ibadah, baik ibadah mahdoh maupun ibadah ghoiru mahdoh agar membentuk pribadi manusia berakhlak mulia baik itu dihadapan Allah maupun terhadap manusia.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk melihat jenis penguatan karakter seperti apa yang dapat membangun karakter siswa berdasarkan nilai-nilai ajaran Islam. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kualitatif deskriptif di lapangan dengan menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data observasi, wawancara, diskusi kelompok (FGD) serta dokumentasi. Selain itu, data disajikan dengan menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif, dalam bentuk kata-kata, tulisan, untuk memperjelas data yang dikumpulkan dan dianalisis. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penguatan pendidikan karakter melalui pendidikan Agama Islam di SMP N 3 Bandar Lampung dibagi menjadi 3 bidang: PPK berbasis kelas, PPK berbasis sekolah, PPK berbasis masyarakat itu bisa dikatakan baik dan tidak. PPK berbasis kelas sudah dilakukan dengan baik di SMP 3 Bandar Lampung karena setiap tahapan-tahapan telah dilakukan dengan baik. Tahapan-tahapan tersebut termasuk mengintegrasikan PPK ke dalam program, PPK melalui manajemen kelas, PPK melalui pilihan dan penggunaan metode pembelajaran tematik, PPK oleh gerakan literatur, PPK melalui bimbingan dan konsling.  Dari kelima tahap implementasi ini, dapat dikatakan bahwa itu maksimal dan dilaksanakan dengan baik. Bidang berikutnya adalah budaya sekolah berdasarkan PPK. Dalam budaya sekolah, banyak nilai inti PPK yang diterapkan. PPK berdasarkan budaya sekolah dalam implementasinya berjalan dengan baik. Kondisi sosial-budaya di SMP N 3 Bandar Lampung sangat mudah diterapkan, untuk berbagai jenis nilai-nilai luhur, sehingga contoh-contoh pendidikan dapat dengan mudah diintegrasikan dengan siswa. PPK berbasis masyarakat dalam implementasinya di SMP N 3, Bandar Lampung belum bekerja sesuai dengan konsep PPK itu sendiri. Hal ini disebabkan oleh keterbatasan ruang lingkup implementasinya. Namun, beberapa hal dapat diimplementasikan, termasuk hubungan sosial antara komite sekolah dan orang tua sebagai aktor kunci dalam pendidikan. Ada Kolaborasi yang masih terbatas, yaitu komunitas ulama dan guru ngaji. Oleh karena itu dapat disimpulkan bahwa di antara tiga bidang PPK yang belum diimplementasikan dengan benar, adalah PPK berbasis masyarakat.

Abstract

This study aims to describe and analyze the thoughts of Kiai Soleh Darat Al-Samarani regarding Islamic education, focusing on three main aspects: (1) the concept of education, including its goals, foundations, the roles of educators and students, and the curriculum; (2) the distinctive characteristics of Islamic education in Indonesia introduced by Kiai Soleh Darat; and (3) the relevance of this approach to Islamic education with a perspective on religious moderation. The research employs sociological, historical, and philosophical approaches, with primary data sources consisting of Kiai Soleh Darat's works such as “Al-Mursyid al-Wazīz fī ‘Ilmi al-Qur'ān al-‘Azīz” and “Majmū al-Syarī’at al-Kāfiyat lī al-‘Awām.” The findings indicate that Kiai Soleh Darat developed an inclusive and integrative approach to Islamic education, respecting local customs while emphasizing the importance of sincere intentions in seeking knowledge. His teaching materials encompass all aspects of Islamic teachings and are relevant to the social context of his time. Kiai Soleh Darat played a significant role in contextualizing Islamic teachings with societal issues, instilling values of nationalism and tolerance, and opposing violence through education. His works have become important references for students and contributed to Indonesia's struggle for independence.

Abstract

Abstrak: Cat kuku menjadi penunjang penampilan kuku untuk menunjukkan nilai estetis dalam sebuah karya fotografi sesuai tema yang diinginkan. Tema glow in the dark yang artinya bercahaya dalam gelap menggunakan cat kuku yang dapat berpendar dalam gelap sebagai penunjang penampilan kuku. Cat kuku tersebut memanfaatkan bubuk pigmen fosfor yang dapat berpendar kemudian di campurkan dengan cat kuku bening. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh perbandingan proporsi bubuk pigmen fosfor dan cat kuku bening terhadap hasil jadi cat kuku warna glow in the dark ditinjau dari sifat fisik yang meliputi warna, tekstur, kekentalan, intensitas cahaya, dan tingkat kesukaan panelis, serta mengetahui hasil jadi cat kuku warna glow in the dark yang terbaik. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen. Variabel bebas dalam penelitian ini adalah perbandingan proporsi bubuk pigmen fosfor dan cat kuku bening dengan perbandingan 1:5, 2:5, 3:5, 4:5, dan 5:5. Variabel terikat dari penelitian ini adalah sifat fisik cat kuku warna glow in the dark meliputi warna, tekstur, kekentalan, intensitas cahaya, dan tingkat kesukaan panelis. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah metode observasi. Metode analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis varians tunggal (one way anova) dengan bantuan program SPSS 21 dan akan dilanjutkan dengan uji Duncan. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan nilai signifikan 0,000 (sig=<0,05) maka dapat diartikan bahwa proporsi bubuk pigmen fosfor dan cat kuku bening dapat memberikan pengaruh terhadap hasil jadi cat kuku warna glow in the dark di tinjau dari sifat fisik meliputi warna, tekstur, kekentalan, intensitas cahaya, dan tingkat kesukaan panelis. Dari 5 perbandingan proporsi bubuk pigmen fosfor dan cat kuku bening, hasil jadi cat kuku yang terbaik adalah cat kuku dengan perbandingan 3:5 (3 gram bubuk pigmen fosfor dan 5 ml cat kuku bening) dengan rata-rata tertinggi ditinjau dari warna sebesar 3,57; tekstur sebesar 3,63; kekentalan sebesar 3,50; intensitas cahaya sebesar 3,67; dan tingkat kesukaan panelis sebesar 3,73. Kata Kunci : Cat Kuku Glow in the Dark, Bubuk Pigmen Fosfor, Cat Kuku Bening.Abstract : Nail polish supports the appearance of the nail to show the aesthetic value in a photographic work according to the desired theme. The glow in the dark theme, which means glowing in the dark, uses nail polish that can glow in the dark to support the appearance of the nails. The nail polish utilizes phosphorus pigment powder which can glow and then mixed with clear nail polish. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the comparison of the proportions of phosphorus pigment powder and clear nail polish to the result of glow in the dark nail polish in terms of physical properties including color, texture, thickness, light intensity, and the level of preference of the panelists, as well as knowing the best finished glow in the dark nail polish. This type of research is a type of experimental research. The independent variable in this study is the ratio of the proportion of phosphorus pigment powder and clear nail polish with a ratio of 1: 5, 2: 5, 3: 5, 4: 5, and 5: 5. The dependent variable of this study is the physical properties of glow in the dark nail polish including color, texture, thickness, light intensity, and panelist preference level. Data collection method used is observation. The data analysis method used is a single way analysis of variance (one way anova) with the help of the SPSS 21 program and will be followed by the Duncan test. The results of data analysis showed a significant value of 0,000 (P <0.05), it can be interpreted that the proportion of phosphorus pigment powder and clear nail polish can have an effect on the finished results glow in the dark nail polish in terms of physical properties including color, texture, thickness, light intensity, and panelist preference level. Of the 5 proportions of phosphorus pigment powder and clear nail polish, the best nail polish is nail polish with a ratio of 3: 5 ( 3 grams of phosphorus pigment powder and 5 ml of clear nail polish) with the highest average in terms of warm of 3,57; texture of 3,63; thickness of 3,50; light intensity of 3,67; and the panelist preference level of 3,73. Abstract

Industri konstruksi di Indonesia terus berkembang pesat, namun banyak perusahaan yang masih menghadapi tantangan dalam meningkatkan kinerja keuangan mereka. Salah satu indikator yang penting dalam menilai kinerja keuangan perusahaan adalah Return on Equity (ROE), yang dapat dipengaruhi oleh efisiensi penggunaan aset, salah satunya melalui Total Asset Turnover (TATO). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh TATO terhadap ROE pada perusahaan konstruksi yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI). Jenis penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif dengan menggunakan data sekunder dari laporan keuangan tahunan perusahaan konstruksi yang terdaftar di BEI, yaitu PT Waskita Karya (WSKT), PT Wijaya Karya (WIKA), PT Adhi Karya (ADHI), dan PT PP (PTPP) untuk periode 2019-2023. Teknik analisis yang digunakan meliputi uji korelasi, uji determinasi, dan regresi linear sederhana. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa TATO berpengaruh signifikan terhadap ROE, di mana semakin tinggi efisiensi penggunaan aset, semakin besar kontribusinya terhadap profitabilitas perusahaan. Implikasi dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa perusahaan konstruksi perlu mengoptimalkan pengelolaan aset untuk meningkatkan kinerja keuangan mereka, dengan tetap mempertimbangkan faktor-faktor lain seperti kebijakan manajemen utang dan pengelolaan biaya.
