This research is included in qualitative descriptive research. The data in this study is in the form of argot language used by the LGBT community on social media. The data collection method used is the method of documentation, listening, and followed by note-taking techniques. Documentation used by researchers to document the collected data. This is what the researcher did by listening to the language used by the LGBT community in social media. Then the data that has been collected is recorded in the data card provided by the researcher. The data analysis technique used the referential equivalent method with the basic technique of Sorting Determinants of Elements (PUP). The data validation technique used is the theoretical triangulation technique. The triangulation technique is a technique for checking the validity of the data by utilizing something other than the data for checking purposes or as a comparison against the data. Theoretical triangulation is done by checking the data with the theory used. The results of this study found three sources of language use by the LGBT community in Indonesia, namely (1) sourced from English and Japanese, (2) sourced from slang, and (3) sourced from mixed language in the form of abbreviated language. The language attitude of the LGBT community tends to be negative. Thus it can be said that the use of language comes from language so that the language is not known by other people outside the community.KEYWORDS: Argot; source; language attitude; LGBT; social media

Abstract

Digital literacy must be instilled as early as possible, starting at least formally from elementary schools (SD). However, digital literacy learning in elementary schools has not been implemented effectively. Some schools still encounter obstacles, one of which is caused by the limitation and availability of digital literacy devices or media in schools. This obstacle was also experienced by the Muhammadiyah Special Program Elementary School of Baturan and the Muhammadiyah Plus Elementary School Malangjiwan. Basic digital literacy skills, such as using a common word processor like Microsoft Word, have not been fully mastered by students, whilst these skills are very important for them to master in this digital era. This community service was carried out by providing direct assistance to students to use Microsoft Word. The stages in this activity were starting from observation, pre-test, to post-test in using Microsoft Word. The hands-on mentoring method allowed students to learn to recognize and use Microsoft Word. This community service shows that there has been an increase in students’ competence in understanding Microsoft Word through the given activities, students have real experience to use word processor, and students' digital literacy improve. It is expected that in the future, students who already have the initial ability to use word processor from the results of this community service program, will improve their skills more and the school can support it by continuing this kind of activity through a digital literacy enhancement program.

The results reveal that the word COVID-19 in each poster content uploaded by WHO Indonesia has a variety of colors. The color representations contained in the word COVID-19 are red as a risk warning to smokers, dark orange as sensitivity and empathy for survivors of violence, yellow-gold as a reminder of healthy activities at home, indigo as awareness of body health, teal green as maintaining physical distance, dodger blue as maintaining health during a pandemic, sienna as resilience and fortitude in facing the pandemic, white as preventing the spread of the virus, and dim gray as serious form in facing COVID-19.
